The start of the second half was less lively but the pattern remained the same for the Rossoneri. First, Bartesaghi tested Plizzari with a shot from the edge of the box, and then on the resultant corner, Quirini's header was met by Coubis who restored our lead in the 56th minute. Milan Futuro controlled the game well
giving very little away - the only notable moment being an ineffective shot from Pellacani in the 58th minute - before the first substitutions made by the two coaches
Torriani did well to react to Cangiano's shot but couldn't deny Brosco's header four minutes later
The game changed in the 77th minute when the Rossoneri went down to ten men as a result of Bartesaghi's second yellow card

MATCH REPORT\nThe Rossoneri started well, and just after a chance for Magrassi we managed to break the deadlock in the sixth minute: Camarda received the ball deep, took a touch, shifted it onto his right foot and shot low to beat Plizzari. For Francesco, it is his second league goal of the season, fourth overall if we count the Coppa Italia
The guests attempted to bounce back with a shot from Dagasso on the edge of the area
who tested Torriani's reflexes in the 16th minute
Cobus brought down Brosco causing a penalty for Pescara
The Abruzzesi came close to doubling their lead on a few occasions
especially through the ex-player of the day Tonin
Milan Futuro tried to react with a shot from Quirini in the 33rd minuted
but it was just a brief moment of dominance for the visitors
thanks to a solid clearance by Coubis on Tonin in the 41st minute.

The G7 partners push forward key development policy initiatives in a joint declaration
among them initiatives concerned with food security and with investments in sustainable infrastructure
The G7 development ministers at their meeting in Pescara
“With its invitation to a meeting of the G7 development ministers
the Italian G7 Presidency is sending an important signal: development policy is at the heart of what the G7 does – and it is more important than ever
the G7 is competing globally for international partnerships
With this joint declaration we are showing that we
are offering concrete and fair development policy deals to our partner countries
The fact that numerous BRICS states and also many other host countries are taking part in this G7 meeting shows the high degree of interest in working together.”
The last meeting of G7 development ministers
which was hosted by the German G7 Presidency
which is the current holder of the presidency
has further strengthened G7 cooperation in the field of development cooperation by organising a meeting dedicated to that topic
participants in the meeting also include Brazil
as this year’s holder of the G20 Presidency
plus the new BRICS members Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates and numerous international organisations as well
The meeting is one of a series of important international conferences taking place this year: it follows the UN Summit of the Future at the end of September and the Hamburg Sustainability Conference at the start of October and coincides with the BRICS summit taking place in Kasan
Russia and the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP16) in Cali
Colombia; it also precedes the G20 summit in Rio
Brazil and the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Azerbaijan in November
the G7 ministers are agreeing to solidify and further develop the Apulia Food Systems Initiative launched at the G7 summit meeting of Heads of State and Government in June 2024
The Initiative is meant to remove structural obstacles to food security worldwide and increase the sustainability and productivity of agricultural and food systems
The Initiative has been closely coordinated with the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty
which the Brazilian Presidency is planning to officially launch at the G20 Summit on 18/19 November
Germany is one of the Alliance’s first members
having recently joined it at the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC)
The outcomes of the HSC are also acknowledged in the G7 Declaration as important steps towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals
the G7 development ministers are strengthening the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) founded in Elmau in 2022 under the German G7 Presidency with the aim of advancing major infrastructure projects worldwide that have high sustainability and quality standards
The establishment of a dedicated secretariat to support coordination
communication and accountability will further solidify the Partnership
A platform is also being set up with the aim of improving the availability of data for infrastructure investments in Africa and an overview of flagship projects will be published
the G7 also discussed the continuing conflict in the Middle East and declared their support for de-escalation and humanitarian assistance

il Pescara colpisce: Torriani all'8' è bravo a respingere su Merola

MATCH REPORT\nPescara chose to control the match and rhythm from the off
but we had the first big chance: in the fifth minute Zeroli slot in behind the defence thanks to a good pass from Chaka
but when it came down to a one on one situation with Plizzari
capitalised on their first chance: in the eighth minute
but Pierozzi was the quickest on the rebound and scored
Torriani denied Tonin in the 22nd minute but he conceded ten minutes later
after a miscommunication with Malaspina opened up the chance for Tonin to make it 2-0
Merola scored the third in the 35th minute
who put Squizzato's low cross into the net
\n\nBonera made three changes at the start of the second half
with some positive impact being seen: the first to have an attempt was Magni
who found space in the middle but shot wide with his left foot
Longo pushed down the first and provided a great cross to find Turco's head on the back post
a goal from Nicolò and a slight flame was lit
in the 63rd minute an error from a corner gave Pescara their fourth goal of the night
The last 30 minutes of place allowed for Bonera to give some minutes to Hodzić and Omoregbe
but there were no more chances at the Adriatico
a heavy defeat which did not truly reflect the rossoneri's performance.

The operations of the Carabinieri in the Adriatic city aimed at contrast and repression of illicit activities
These services carried out by the military of the Pescara Scalo Station
allowed the identification and subsequent report an 18 year old at large
during a normal patrol service while passing near the park called “Villa Sabucchi”
who at the sight of the soldiers he quickly moved away
Immediately reached and stopped by the aforementioned patrol
the boy appeared particularly nervous and agitated
The subsequent personal search allowed them to find on the 18-year-old
a precision scales and a 16 cm long folding knife
all the material found was submitted and made available to the Judicial Authority
For these reasons the subject was conducted to the offices of the local Carabinieri Station where
he was reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Pescara

It wasn’t enough for Milan Futuro to take the lead twice to get the better of Pescara
who found the decisive 2-3 goal with Lancini in the final minutes
yet another match filled with regrets played out for the Rossoneri’s second team
they failed to pick up any points to climb the standings and try to pull away from second-to-last place
The match was marred by yet another red card this season: with Bartesaghi’s sending-off
the total number of red cards in this campaign has now risen to eight
Camarda's show not enough for Milan futuro against Pescara
Among the clear positives from the early lunchtime kickoff was the return to scoring from open play by Francesco Camarda—his last such goal dating back to September
The Rossoneri prodigy produced a stunning finish
using a backheel touch to beat his marker before curling a shot into the corner from the edge of the box

Already in the first half the black and whites, today in yellow, had started very strong. Tonti (9') shows off his first intervention on Marchesi keeping his team afloat. At 25' it is Bacchin who with a diagonal left-footed shot just misses the post giving the illusion of a goal. Three minutes later we see the home team trying with Schirone, ball in the corner.

Formula 1 has settled into a comfortable routine in the last several years
as we visit the same tracks year after year — but back in the day
there used to be some real surprises on the calendar
These forgotten Grand Prix tracks have played host to a Formula 1 race in the past
Formula 1 made a stunning foray out to Casablanca
The 4.724-mile circuit was designed by the Royal Automobile Club of Morocco
and it was set to decide the title for either Stirling Moss or Mike Hawthorn
but Hawthorn’s second place earned him the championship honor by just one point
the race was marred by the ultimate death of driver Stuart Lewis-Evans
Though the Swiss Grand Prix has existed in more modern Formula 1
the last time it was actually held in Switzerland was 1954
when it took place on Circuit Bremgarten in Bern
Its 4.524 miles were lined with trees that blocked the sunlight and cast shadows onto the racing surface
When it rained — which it often did — then it was even more treacherous
The track was removed from the F1 calendar by force; after the 1955 Le Mans disaster
Switzerland placed an overarching ban on motorsport
and Bremgarten never again hosted a Grand Prix
The Circuito di Pescara is best known for playing host to the Coppa Acerbo
but the race’s name was changed in the aftermath of World War II
The 15.894-mile track was used to host the Pescara Grand Prix in 1957
making it the longest track ever to feature on the F1 calendar
The track was as beloved as it was dangerous thanks to its use of narrow country road
even the fearless Enzo Ferrari refused to send his cars out for fear that they wouldn’t return
the circuit was never used for F1 again; it only lasted a handful of years as a sports car venue before racing was totally discontinued in 1961

👉 Revealed: Formula 1’s surprising connection to the Great Train Robbery
South Africa started off as a massive 15.199-mile beast during World War II; when it joined the F1 calendar in 1962
it had been trimmed down to a meager 2.436 miles
Though the track was likely quite fun to spectate — it was built around a seaside amphitheater — it was ultimately deemed far too small for the F1 cars of the 1960s
and the South African Grand Prix was moved to Kyalami soon after
the oddly-shaped Zeltweg Airfield hosted exactly one Formula 1 race that was abandoned due to the abrasive nature of the track
The former military airfield has been used to host Red Bull Air Race events and other powersports shows since

who would go on to posthumously take the F1 World Championship in 1970
Once a beloved hub of sports car racing in the United States
Riverside International Race has now been demolished and turned into a mall
it hosted the second-ever United States Grand Prix
There were plenty of factors leading to a lowly turnout of just 25,000 people
but one of the biggest was an ongoing battle between promoter Alec Ulmann and local papers

the La Rocca Foundation in Pescara will host a solo exhibition by Luca Vitone (Genoa
1964) entitled Per l’eternità
A project that returns in a single corpus a cycle of works started in 2013 and that revolves around an unprecedented exploration of collective memory through the sense of smell
which gives the Pescara exhibition its title
originated in 2013 for the Italian Pavilion of the 55th Venice Biennale
Vitone had created an olfactory sculpture in collaboration with perfumer Maria Candida Gentile. The Pescara exhibition brings together for the first time the entire cycle for eternity
placing it in a trilogy that also includes 2014’s Imperium and 2017’s A tale of forked tongues
Three works that reflect on the relationship between power and memory through the use of the sense of smell
If For Eternity refers to economic power and the tragedy of asbestos
Imperium addresses the concept of the state and A Tale of forked tongues focuses on military authority
The heart of the installation is the olfactory sculpture for eternity (eternit)
which will imbue a room of the La Rocca Foundation with its rhubarb fragrance
a place symbolic of the fight against asbestos
where for years Eternit dust claimed thousands of lives
"For Eternity (Pescara) is a photographic triptych composed of a collage with rhubarb plants filling the space of the foundation,“ Vitone declares
”The visualization of what happens with the smell of eternity composed of rhubarb fragrances that invades the space creating a huge but invisible sculpture."
The exhibition will also include the video for eternity
documenting the reality of a community marked by contamination
including an unpublished triptych made for the La Rocca Foundation
Also enriching the exhibition will be Stanze (Fondazione La Rocca)
an unpublished work that reflects on dust as a symbolic element of human existence
The artist has collected the dust deposited in the spaces of the foundation
transforming it into a visual trace of its presence and absence
“A portrait of the exhibition space executed with dust coming directly from the place itself
that which is deposited daily on the various surfaces and which when removed is immediately replaced by other similar ones
A metaphorical element of our living and the spaces we inhabit,” the artist argues
Luca Vitone returns to question the public about the tragedy of asbestos
Twelve years after his first exhibition at the Venice Biennale
the artist reintroduces his olfactory sculpture as a reminder that the judicial process on the Eternit case is still ongoing and that the number of victims continues to grow
The intense fragrance of rhubarb thus becomes the vehicle of a collective memory that cannot be erased
a sensory reminder that transforms art into a tool of denunciation
Fondazione La Rocca will organize a public program with meetings and insights

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO\nAfter not playing at the weekend, the Rossoneri will be looking to build on the positives they displayed in the 2-2 draw at home to Arezzo

However, to understand its effects we will have to wait until Sunday, at 18 pm, when Viale Terme will arrive Mondragone for the last day of the play in: at that point the third and final phase will open for the Castellani playout to maintain the category.
Coach, what is the mood in the team after the defeat against the bottom team in the group?
"We met on Easter Monday morning at 9am to train, followed by the 17pm one: I think that after the embarrassing and annoying game we played in Pescara, this was the bare minimum. It was a good thing that we didn't train on Easter evening. But it seemed right to me out of respect for those who make sacrifices to bring this team forward in this championship: our club".
Did injuries still have an impact or is there something else?
"We have to be honest because that's my way of doing things: when there was something to say that this team deserved compliments I was the first to do it. Then it's true that we played for a long time without Alessandro Grotti, still out, and this changes the perspectives compared to the team that was imagined at the beginning of the year. But when we put in performances like in Pescara, my personality forces me to tell the truth, uncomfortable and ugly as it may be".
How do you feel with 40 minutes to go in the second play-in phase?
"My mood is black to the tenth power. I am disappointed by the attitude, by the lack of mental strength, by not being able to give continuity to the good things we do: it is a case of kicking the bucket after having milked the cow".
Every time he raised his voice, the team reacted, don't you think?
"I hope someone has looked in the mirror to understand what to do from here to the end. I want to save myself and I hope that 10 other people have the same motivation."
Mondragone arrives on Sunday, second to last in the standings. How are you physically?
"We're doing fine, except for a few ailments. Apart from that, we have a chance to do well in the last match of the second phase, but I find it superfluous."
"I don't know if we are a team that has to look at the position, but rather a team that has to look inside itself and understand what it wants from here to the end. We have shown that we know how to do, but also how to undo. This is the big question that will accompany me until the end of May".
The match was scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, kick-off at 15pm, at the Stadio Adriatico Cornacchia but already from this morning the weather warning had put the race at risk: the heavy rains in the last few hours have caused flooding and traffic problems in various areas of the Abruzzo city, including in the area of the sports field, where some roads were closed due to the risk of falling trees.
ROCHESTER — A new restaurant— Mill Valley Kitchen — will move into Pescara’s former downtown Rochester spot in the hotel-turned-student housing.
Mill Valley Kitchen, which will lease the space from Titan, will offer both sit down dining plus grab-and-go choices. The public will access the restaurant in the mostly university-occupied building via the main Broadway entrance and through the skyway access during the restaurant’s hours of operation.
Construction is expected to begin this winter.
This will be Northern Hospitality’s second Mill Valley Kitchen. The original restaurant is based in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
“I am excited to be expanding our footprint in Rochester and contributing to the rapidly growing landscape of downtown in conjunction with Titan Development,” stated Northern Hospitality owner and executive chef Michael Rakun in the announcement. “We feel that our concept of focusing on wellness and nutrition is ideal for a community like Rochester with a strong emphasis on health.”
The “health-focused” restaurant is described as a tribute to the Mill Valley region of Northern California. Its menu features signature dishes like miso glazed seabass with gingered quinoa, flatbreads, hummus plates and other seasonal entrees.
The addition of Mill Valley is the latest change to the building that operated as a hotel for decades in the heart of Rochester.
The university is leasing nine floors — floors 3 to 11 — to use the 200 former hotel rooms to provide up to 400 student beds.
The university’s lease is for $3.06 million annually for 12 years with the gross rent increasing 1.75% a year. The deal includes the university paying a pro-rata share of real estate taxes and utilities, which was estimated at $1.01 million for the first year.
Under the agreement, Titan provides "a full-service dining program for 3 meals a day, 7 days a week during the academic year” for the students.
The conviction of a Sweden man who in January 2010 shot a deputy and a neighbor has been reversed because appellate judges ruled that the judge in the case wrongly allowed the prosecution to exclude some African-American jurors.
On Friday the regional appellate court — the Fourth Department Appellate Division of State Supreme Court — reversed the conviction of Scott Pescara, who was convicted in 2011 of attempted aggravated assault upon a police officer, second-degree assault, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
Pescara, 50, is now imprisoned at the Attica Correctional Facility, serving a sentence of up to 16 years. Before the appellate ruling, he was not eligible for parole until 2024.
After a domestic dispute with his wife, Pescara started a standoff with police then fired dozens of shots randomly from his home in Sweden, authorities said. The gunfire struck a neighbor in the shoulder and a Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputy in the leg.
During jury selection at Pescara's trial, his attorney, John Parrinello, raised issues when prosecutors used challenges to prospective African-American jurors. With such challenges, the law allows attorneys to present "race-neutral" reasons for asking for the prospective juror not be seated, then a judge determines whether the reason is valid.
There were blacks on the jury for Pescara, who is white, and also reasons given by the prosecution with five of six other black prospective jurors whom the prosecution did not want on the jury.
However, the prosecution said that, with the sixth challenge, the individual was not African-American. Parrinello contested, and the man said he was Caribbean and identified himself as black.
County Court Judge James Piampiano then said that the prosecution has presented a race-neutral reason for keeping the man from the jury — it had not — and allowed him to be stricken from the prospective jury.
In another instance, prosecutors challenged an African-American woman who was a nurse and who said she wanted to help people, the appellate ruling stated. The appellate judges said that Piampiano then, instead of properly determining the validity of the prosecutor's rationale, engaged with Parrinello, questioning how a white defendant could legally raise such challenges.
"Defense counsel answered, correctly, that a defendant need not be the same race as the stricken prospective juror," the ruling said.
During the same exchange with Parrinello, Piampiano noted that Parrinello himself had asked that some black prospective jurors be stricken. The appellate judges also said that this was not "a proper basis" to consider other challenges.
In its decision, the appellate judges cited the judge's "wholesale failure" to abide by the legal requirements with determining whether a challenge to a would-be juror is race-based.
Pescara's appeal was handled by the Monroe County Public Defender's Office. The District Attorney's Office said the case has now been remanded for a new trial.
Parrinello said Tuesday that the challenges are the legal mechanism to try to ensure a jury is neutral and not prejudicial, and, thus, a vital part of a fair trial.
"When there is an indication that there is a systematic exclusion of jurors, either ethnic or racial, as an attorney you have to raise a (legal) issue," he said.

to travel autonomously with passengers on board and without speed restrictions or the need to give up on-board services
The Exquicity is equipped with four doors for boarding and alighting passengers and can accommodate up to 134 people
Both the driver’s seat and the passenger environment are air-conditioned
with a trolleybus passing every 10 minutes on average
Most of the route will run in its own track on the old Adriatic railway line
where the trolleybus recharging station is to be built
The municipalities of Pescara and Montesilvano are proceeding with the work on the signage and greenery along the entire route
while the assembly of the shelters and interactive intelligent bollards will be completed shortly before the trolleybus is put into service
An important project that is finally close to launching
after years of problems of various kinds that have fortunately been resolved
and which will further unite the municipalities of Pescara and Montesilvano
and which is destined for further expansion in the future
towards Francavilla al Mare and San Giovanni Teatino
which will improve connections in the area in no small measure
TUA General Manager Maxmilian Di Pasquale’s comment was positive: «Today the functionality of the work is being verified and the trial period begins
This will be followed by the training of the certified trolleybus operators
with the aim of going into operation to the public by the end of June
We are well aware that the novelty also generates some fear
and implement all risk mitigation measures to make the work as stress-free and impactful as possible
The final effect will certainly be positive for citizens»
“Ryanair today announced its sixth direct route from Kaunas to Italy,” Simonas Bartkus
CEO of Lietuvos Oro Uostai (Lithuanian Airports
