refused ecclesiastical appointments in order to lead a life of silence and prayer
there are now 23 Carthusian monasteries in the world; the most recent was founded in South Korea

Benedict XVI traveled to the Carthusian monastery of Serra San Bruno; his predecessor
The name of this town belonging to the Italian province of Ancona
Benedict XVI referred to the contemplative life: "Ecclesial communion needs an interior strength
that strength that Father Prior recalled a moment ago
The ministry of pastors draws from contemplative communities a spiritual sap that comes from God"
St. Bruno founded the Carthusian Order, which is considered the strictest within the Catholic Church. The sobriety of the Carthusians is reflected not only in their lifestyle, but also in their liturgy, based on that elaborated by St. Bruno and his companions. This liturgy includes many times of silence and lacks musical instruments
similar to Gregorian chant but more austere
On the official website "chartreux.org"After having directed for a long time the cathedral school of Reims
responding to the divine call of an exclusive life for God alone
entered the Chartreuse massif in 1084 with six companions to revive in the West the spirit of the Desert Fathers
He then founded another monastery in Calabria
the date on which the Catholic Church celebrates his memory
Bruno was born around the year 1030 in Cologne
and from a young age he stood out for both his intellect and his piety
where he later served as a teacher and respected canon
leading him to seek a life apart from ecclesiastical politics and material goods
The Christian perfection he longed for was found
in a life fully dedicated to prayer and contemplation: in 1084
gave them an inhospitable and rocky piece of land in the French Alps
the mother monastery of the Carthusian Order
This monastery became a model of monastic life centered on silence
The Carthusian monks live in almost absolute seclusion
Community meetings are rare and conversations are limited
Once a week they are allowed to talk during a community walk
and the rest of the time they communicate by sign language
Bruno was not able to fully enjoy his retreat for many years
Although he deeply desired to live in solitude
but soon discovered that life at the papal court was not compatible with his ascetic spirit
He turned down the offer to be named archbishop of Reggio in Calabria
opting to return to the solitary life in an even more remote location
where he founded his second monastery in La Torre
surrounded by lay people and clerics who shared his search for the perfect life in contemplation and silence
but also the beginning of a veneration that would last throughout the centuries
Bruno's influence was profound and lasting
His legacy spread rapidly through the Carthusian Order
which spread throughout Europe and reached its peak in the 16th century
with some 5,600 monks and nuns distributed in 198 monasteries
the Carthusians did not seek the formal canonization of their founder for centuries
was Bruno's sanctity officially recognized by a papal decree confirming his veneration
without the need for the traditional canonization process
his feast was extended to the universal Church
thus consolidating his place in the history of Catholic spirituality
Bruno's impact on Christian spirituality lies in his rejection of the temptations of power and wealth
and in his pursuit of a life dedicated exclusively to prayer and service to God
In an age marked by corruption and ambition for power within the Church
Bruno stood out for his purity of heart and integrity
qualities that inspired his contemporaries and continue to serve as a model for Carthusian monks today
with 23 Carthusian monasteries (18 of monks and 5 of nuns) around the world
where some 270 monks and 60 nuns follow the precepts of their founder
The Carthusians continue to live by the strict rules established by Bruno more than 900 years ago
and embracing the order's motto: "Stat crux dum volvitur orbis" ("The cross stands firm as the world turns")
A widespread motto holds that the Carthusian order has never been reformed because it has never been deformed ("Nunquam reformata

and narrow roads that climb as if chasing the sky
with their cells that line up and almost hold hands in a communal solitude around the cloister
The Carthusian Order today consists of 21 monasteries worldwide
where the Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity was established in 1994
one in Notre Dame Reillanne in Upper Provence and the second in Nonenque in the Midi-Pyrénées region
the Charterhouse of Santa María de Benifasar in Castellón de la Plana (currently linked to one of the two French houses)
A new foundation could arise in Latin America
there were 63 Carthusian nuns worldwide (there were 49 in 2005) and the monks numbered 288 (286 in 2015)
there is one vocation per year for each Charterhouse”
The Carthusian Order arose in 1084 at the initiative of the monk called Bruno
He was canonized in 1623 (although Pope Leo X authorized his cult on July 19
was founded in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse
The name comes from the Massif de la Chartreuse
that the monk Bruno stopped dedicating himself entirely to God and the contemplative life
to revive in the West the spirit of the desert fathers
The female branch of the Order was founded around 1145 when the nuns of Prébayon
Carthusian spirituality has remained based on contemplative life
a life of seeking God in solitude and silence
The motto of the Order is “Stat Crux dum volvitur orbis” (The Cross stands firm while the world turns)
brings about the commemorations of the 940 years since the foundation of the Carthusian Order and the 510 years since the canonization of the monk Bruno
It also marks the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment in Italy of the Dego Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity
located in the province of Savona in Liguria and falls within the diocese of Acqui Terme (province of Alessandria
where currently there are about fifteen nuns
Getting to the Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity is not simple: it seems like even the car’s navigator wants to accommodate the solitary prayer vocation of the nuns: it leads into a dense forest instead of to the monastery
you have to take the road to the locality of Girini and then continue towards Porri
one of those rural buildings originally used as storage for tools and agricultural products
There’s a little road there that leads to the hamlet of Ca’ Bulin
you find yourself in front of the gate of the Certosa
At the Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity
one cannot enter: the community of nuns observes a strict separation from the world
Even the relatives of the nuns can only visit them for two days a year
Only prospective Carthusian nuns can be welcomed into the monastery
The path in the spiritual experience of the Charterhouse then involves a year of postulancy
arid and parched are the paths to be traveled before reaching the sources of water and the Promised Land”; it is written in the Constitutions of the Order
and solitude mark time in the Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity
celebrated by the Carthusian monk who lives in the grange
she invites me when there are special celebrations
I talked to the nuns: they asked me questions about life beyond the monastery”
The Carthusian nuns also observe silence among themselves
in their cells overlooking their small gardens
that time when “walking the same path” they walk together
The cell is a symbol of withdrawing into oneself while looking upward
The monastery in the monastic tradition is paradisus claustri
also contemplates very few contacts with the media
“The last General Chapter (that of September 2023
ed.) reminded us that we must avoid them,” informs the prioress of the Charterhouse
conversion of the heart dwell at the Charterhouse of the Holy Trinity
The Ligurian Sea cannot be seen from there
the mist lightly envelops the Charterhouse
prayer continues when the sun makes its way through the clear shadows
the colors of dusk accompany the cross that rises on the bell tower
Even the holy monk holds the cross in his hand
The Carthusian nuns form a single Order with the monks
under the guidance of the same Superior General of the Carthusian Order
a small group of nuns gave a new beginning to the female branch of the Order
which is held at the Grande Chartreuse in France (every two years since 1973)
the Carthusian nuns also have their own Statutes
but they “remain in organic and spiritual union with the monks”
The first presence of Carthusian nuns in Italy dates back to 1223 in Piedmont
other Carthusian nuns arrived in the Diocese of Turin from France
The Beauregard community sent novices and elderly sisters to the territory of Pinerolo and to the Certosa di San Francesco
was not suited to the needs of the eremitic life of the Carthusian vocation
While Carthusian nuns are gathered in their silent prayer
with very little contact with the outside world
Carthusian monks on some special occasions have opened the doors of their home
Pope John Paul II visited the Charterhouse of Serra San Bruno
we are called to be lamps that illuminate the path on which so many brothers and sisters scattered throughout the world walk”
Pope Benedict XVI was also welcomed to Serra San Bruno: in 2011
on the 910th anniversary of the death of the founding monk
and you make the pure blood of contemplation and the love of God flow through its veins,” emphasized Pope Ratzinger during the vespers celebration
In this hidden life in God within the Carthusian monasteries - over the centuries
there have been more than 300 of them - the German director Philip Gröning received special permission to enter to make the documentary Into Great Silence
depicts the daily life of the Carthusians of the Grande Chartreuse in France
Perseverance and hope led him to obtain permission to enter the cloister and film the daily life of the monastery for six months
To learn about the life of the Carthusians, the Museum of the Grande Chartreuse was created (http://www.musee-grande-chartreuse.fr/fr/)
located about a kilometer from the French monastery
Here you can enter the Charterhouse virtually
and the workshop where manual work is done
A documentary has also been made about the Carthusian nuns: Une vie en Chartreuse: de la nuit du monde à la Nuit Pascale (https://chartreux.org/moniales/it/)
in a letter to the Carthusian Order for the 500th anniversary of Bruno’s canonization
entirely devoted to the constant search for God and communion with Him

Embraced by the prayers and love of her family and friends
Raffaela peacefully passed into the arms of God on Sunday
Raffaela shouldered significant responsibilities
including caring for her younger siblings and preparing meals for the family as well as the workers on the family farm
Raffaela left school at the age of 8 to become his primary caregiver
allowing her mother more time to manage the farm
she regularly accompanied her father to La Silla
where she took on the tasks of cooking and laundering for the workers
marked a pivotal moment in Raffaela’s life
welcomed Raffaela and her mother at the door
at least from Antonio’s perspective; Raffaela neither confirmed nor denied feeling the same
they both knew they were destined to build a life together
Raffaela and Antonio made their home in a close-knit community surrounded by family and friends
where they welcomed four more children into their lives: Rosarina
Raffaela dedicated herself to raising her children with a strong sense of faith
enriching their lives with her sense of humour
Understanding the challenges of transitioning to a new country
Raffaela and Antonio also provided many family members and friends coming from Italy with a place to stay until they found more permanent accommodations
they selflessly and generously shared everything they could
Living by the philosophy of dolce far niente
Raffaela found happiness in life's simple joys
she carefully preserved the harvest from Antonio’s Garden and helped craft homemade wine
She took immense pride in preparing meals for loved ones and even strangers
revelling in the opportunity to share the fruits of her labour
and sharp sense of humour created an inviting atmosphere in her home where everyone felt at ease
and every dish was served with love for all to savour
While Raffaela found her greatest fulfillment and pleasure in her roles as a wife and mother
she also worked outside the home for several years
and later worked as a cook at the Avila Centre
she was a dedicated member of both the Catholic Women's League and the Ladies of the Italian Society of Port Arthur
Raffaela’s unwavering love for her family and her vibrant
joyful presence will forever remain in our hearts
The immense void she leaves behind is indescribable
She will be deeply missed by her son Bruno
and Olivia; her daughter Rosarina and son-in-law Saverio (Sam); her son Giuseppe (Pino)
and their children Anthony and Kyra; her son Antonio (Tony)
and friends who have shown her great respect
Raffaela was predeceased by her husband of 60 years
Giuseppe and Brunina; her father-in-law and mother-in-law
Rita Larizza (in infancy) and Serafina Vallelunga; her brother
and Salvatore Tassone; and her great-niece
We find comfort in knowing that they are reunited once more
A funeral service celebrating Raffaela’s life will be held on Monday
followed by entombment at Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum
Those wishing to attend virtually may do so at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BujoS5gwLKM. Visitation will be held on Sunday
at Sargent & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m
with the vigil service beginning at 4:00 p.m
donations may be made in Raffaela’s name to the TBRHSC Foundation - ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Fund at https://www.healthsciencesfoundation.ca/memorial to help fund the purchase of Cough Assist machines
which will provide comfort to those with respiratory conditions
A Note of Appreciation from Raffaela’s Children
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Raffaela over the years
Your kindness and generosity have been a great comfort to us
and we will always treasure and remember your thoughtful gestures
A special note of gratitude goes to the healthcare workers

Mass Propers for Tuesday of the Third Week of Easter:
says the Lord; whoever comes to me will never hunger
Preface II of Easter: It is truly right and just
but in this time above all to laud you yet more gloriously
when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed
Through him the children of light rise to eternal life and the halls of the heavenly Kingdom are thrown open to the faithful; for his Death is our ransom from death
and in his rising the life of all has risen
every people exults in your praise and even the heavenly Powers
sing together the unending hymn of your glory
we believe that we shall also live with Christ
Tuesday of the Third Week of Easter: O God
who open wide the gates of the heavenly Kingdom to those reborn of water and the Holy Spirit
pour out on your servants an increase of the grace you have bestowed
they may lack nothing that in your kindness you have promised
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit

After taking part in the Crusades against the Albigensians
he used his inheritance to free Christian prisoners held by the Moors
He later founded the Order of Our Lady of Mercy (Mercedarians) beginning in 1218 devoted to ransoming Christians
John the Apostle was taken to Rome under the Emperor Domitian and plunged into a cauldron of boiling oil; by a striking miracle he came out safe and sound from this torture
This disposition to forgive did not die with St
but has continued to be one of the most characteristic virtues of the saint
Benedict as related in the Dialogues of St
that he was continuously and severely persecuted by a delinquent priest who lived in the neighborhood of the monastery
in order to protect the virtue and the vocations of his disciples
Benedict decided to abandon the site of his monastery and move to another location
He and his monks had hardly left their monastery when word was brought that the persecutor had died suddenly
Contrary to the expectation of the messenger who brought the news
Benedict broke out in loud lamentations that his enemy had died suddenly and had not had an opportunity to repent
The saints see so much more clearly than we the relative unimportance of the hardships and injustices we suffer in this world
and the importance before all else of the sinner's being converted and repenting of his sins
How long and how persistently we harbor grudges in our hearts against those who have offended us
How difficult we find it to forgive freely and from our hearts
Yet we proclaim ourselves to be Christians and to practice all the Christian virtues
Do we forget that our Lord told us that if we expect our prayers to be heard
and our sacrifices to be pleasing in the sight of God
and go first and make peace with our brother
Nor is the disposition to forgive our enemies peculiar only to the saints and martyrs of the ancient Church; nor should we expect it to be
and if His disciples were commanded to forgive their enemies in His day
Father Pro was executed in Mexico some years ago
he was asked by his executioner if he had anything he wished to do
or anything he wished to say before the sentence was executed
Father Pro said that there was; he wished to be given an opportunity to pray for his executioners and to give them his blessing before he died
During the persecutions in Spain during the late civil war
one of the religious who was to be put to death by the communists was led to his death with his hands bound
asked to be allowed to give his blessing to the members of the firing squad
It is said that the officer in charge of the guard untied his hands
and then swiftly struck off the hands of the priest with his sword
raised his right arm and traced the sign of the cross over the heads of his murderers
This is the true sign of the authentic martyr
the characteristic mark of the true saint of the Church
Who His own self bore our sins in His body upon the tree" (Epistle)
The redemption of man as accomplished by Christ might have been accomplished in other ways
but none of them would have been as perfect as the way Christ chose
God might have forgiven man outright without requiring any satisfaction for sin
This would have been a splendid manifestation of the infinite mercy of God
but it would have ignored His infinite justice
God might have refused redemption and forgiveness altogether
and this would have been in complete conformity with His justice
but it would not have satisfied His infinite mercy
Perfect redemption required that both God's mercy and justice be satisfied
Any act of satisfaction on his part would only have been of limited and finite value
An act of reparation offered by a divine person would have been adequate
since it would not have been offered by the offending party
The only possibility of a perfect redemption was for the divine person to become incarnate
could perform acts of infinite value; since he was a human being
He could act in the name of the human race
and offer an act of reparation which would be both adequate and authentic
But the martyrdom of the latter Apostle called for a scene worthy of the event
was not a sufficiently glorious land for such a combat
whither Peter had transferred his Chair and where he died on his cross
and where Paul had bowed down his venerable head beneath the sword
alone deserved the honor of seeing the beloved disciple march on to martyrdom
with that dignity and sweetness which are the characteristics of this veteran of the Apostolic College
In the year 95 John appeared before the tribunal of pagan Rome
the worship of a Jew who had been crucified under Pontius Pilate
He was considered a superstitious and rebellious old man
and it was time to rid Asia of his presence
sentenced to an ignominious and cruel death
A huge cauldron of boiling oil was prepared in front of the Latin Gate
The sentence ordered that the preacher of Christ be plunged into this bath
The hour had come for the second son of Salome to partake of his Master’s chalice
the boiling liquid lost all its heat; the Apostle felt no scalding
when they took him out again he felt all the vigor of his youthful years restored to him
2015Some are wondering why it took utility crews so long to cap a transmission line break that wasted 15 million gallons of water.SAN BRUNO
but that is what happened on the Peninsula
Millions of gallons of water were lost after a 54-inch regional transmission line broke Monday night in San Bruno
The water main break was discovered shortly after 9:30 p.m
at the Junipero Serra County Park in San Bruno
"It appears that age is the cause of the break
This pipe was built around 1927," Deborah Chilvers
a spokesperson for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission
Crews were finally able to cap it 13 hours later after diverting the water
which comes from the Crystal Springs Reservoir
You can fill 20,000 bath tubs with one million gallons of water; now imagine 15 million gallons
The amount lost represents 20 percent of the water that serves San Francisco in a day
the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission decided it would be much worse to shut the line down used in San Bruno
"It would have depressurized the system all the way down the line
so all of the communities that were fed off this pipeline would no longer have had water and it's not only your home and drinking water
it's all of those hydrants on the corner of every street," Tyrone Jue
Keeping the system flowing is what helps keep the drinking water safe for residents
"If the water gets depressurized then the system has to be chlorinated again
so you need that chlorine residual in the pipes to keep the water quality where it needs to be," Jue said
Because the break occurred inside the park
the water was able to flow into an existing creek and eventually into a storm drain leading into the bay
These kinds are events are covered by the water agency's emergency fund
The discussions on Halloween highlight the dynamism of Italy’s contemporary culture
capable of embracing new traditions while keeping its heritage alive
a country deeply rooted in family and religious traditions
has recently witnessed a significant shift in its cultural landscape
has gradually weaved into the hearts and traditions of new generations
As November 1st marks the so-called ‘Ponte dei morti,’ a bank holiday honoring the deceased
Italians are increasingly anticipating the celebration on the night of October 31st
For some, these narratives provide the perfect fodder for raising an accusatory eyebrow at Halloween and its Celtic origins. Remarkably, though, we unearth comparable customs in the southern regions of Italy
where residents do something similar to carving pumpkins and illuminating them with flickering candles to dispel malevolent spirits
have been etching pumpkins into eerie skull-like visages for generations
The kids would merrily wander through the town
“Mi lu pagati lu coccalu?”—a quaint way of inquiring
Similar traditions sprout across the heel of the peninsula
the first day of November is honored with pumpkins and peculiar rituals
Local Catholic congregations embark on processions
knocking on doors for food offerings to praise the departed
This unique ceremony intertwines with an old belief: by placing candles within hollowed pumpkins
they ensure that wandering spirits do not partake in the banquet
This time-honored observance entices at least 20,000 visitors annually
all eager to witness this rare and captivating tradition
and media have also played an influential role in popularizing Halloween
and pumpkins has become familiar to younger audiences through various media outlets
While Halloween has not overshadowed local traditions
Halloween shares a close connection with the religious holiday of All Saints’ Day
The days are inextricably linked in a fusion of the sacred and the whimsical
The reverence for departed souls remains paramount in many contexts
even as Halloween revelries fill the air with laughter and celebrations
Italians nowadays embrace Halloween through diverse means
the streets come alive with costume parties and masquerades
The little ones delight in trick-or-treating
The culinary scene also gets a Halloween makeover
with restaurants and bakeries serving spooky-themed delicacies
This diversity showcases the adaptability of Italian culture and its capacity to embrace change while preserving its roots
The introduction of Halloween to Italian culture has not been without its share of cultural clashes and debates
Traditionalists often express concerns about the erosion of local traditions and the commercialization of Halloween
highlight the often underrated dynamism of Italy’s contemporary culture
whether you celebrate Halloween in Italy with a spooky masquerade or in the family warmth
the essence remains the same: a love for culture

rituals and festivals of the Calabrian 15th AugustTradition and folklore
Midsummer festivals in Calabria are an experience of fun and conviviality not to be missed
Whether one chooses the seaside or the mountains
15th August in Calabria is synonymous with large tables in the company of family and friends who often return from faraway places of emigration: festivals and religious feasts
bonfires and all that a welcoming region knows how to give its visitors
you too will be a guest in the family and not a tourist
The Calabrian 15th August is a whirlwind of popular and religious festivals
bursting with the traditional fireworks that end them late at night
Many initiatives animate the liveliest week of the summer
from the north to the south of the region: barbecues
The historical significance seems to go back to a precise date
when on the occasion of the Feriae Augusti the peasants could enjoy a break from work in the fields in honour of the Emperor Octavian Augustus
the celebrations lasted throughout the month of August
Today's sense is not so different: in Calabria
sea and mountains are populated by holidaymakers eager to unplug from the city and work
If you love getting lost amidst the bright colours and shouting of stalls and markets
don't miss the traditional 15th August fairs in Calabria
There is something for all tastes and in all provinces
which celebrates 15th August with the Portosalvo Fair
Fairs and markets are linked to the religious celebrations in honour of Our Lady of the Assumption into Heaven
which is celebrated everywhere on 15 August
and are often accompanied by the evocative boat processions of the "Madonna a mare" that are widespread in many coastal localities in Calabria: from the aforementioned Soverato and Vibo Marina via Catanzaro Lido and the Lakes of Sibari to Cassano all'Ionio in the province of Cosenza (to name but a few of the most famous)
Another unmissable ingredient of 15th August in Calabria is food
declined in dozens of typical festivals with products from the sea and the mountains
A "must" of the mid-August week in Calabria are the Stocco festivals in the province of Reggio Calabria
in Mammola and Cittanova (known as the "National Feast of Stocco")
Two localities that put the same product on the table
each with its own variations but both renowned for the excellent processing of stockfish
which is a true regional gastronomic brand in these parts
the Swordfish Festival is celebrated in the first week of August: this time we are in Bagnara Calabra
another sacred place for traditional Calabrian fishing
don't miss the big summer festivals that criss-cross all the provinces with concerts
theatre festivals and outdoor performances in the region's most beautiful nature and archaeological parks
To the faithful and fans of religious and popular traditions
we recommend not to miss some of the most important 15th August Marian festivals in Calabria
being recognised as a UNESCO Intangible Heritage Site
is the evocative procession of the Varia di Palmi
Borrowed from the more famous Varia di Messina
following the miraculous twinning that united the two cities at the time of the plague (1575)
the Varia di Palmi stages one of the most sumptuous so-called "large shoulder machines" in the Mediterranean: a huge 16-metre high sacred chariot representing the universe and the Assumption into Heaven of the Virgin
carried on the shoulders of 200 bearers ('mbuttatùri)
on top of which are tied tightly together small flesh-and-blood figurines
San Rocco is the protector of travellers as a pilgrim and thaumaturge in his own right
This heartfelt devotion is manifested in many Calabrian localities
both in the province of Reggio Calabria (one on the Tyrrhenian Costa Viola
Official iconography depicts him with a cloak
ready to help the simple people he meets along the way
is honoured with a long night-time torchlight procession and a series of sacred and profane celebrations that continue for several days
But it is in Gioiosa Ionica that devotion to Saint Rocco finds one of its most fascinating popular expressions
the celebrations culminate in the traditional votive dance accompanied by the so-called "drums of Saint Rocco"
an event that combines Mediterranean music

It is with profound grief that we convey the loss of our beloved Marietta (Tassone) Larizza on Sunday
in his great mercy placed his gentle hand on her after a sudden stroke befell her while in her favourite place to be- her ever flourishing garden
Marietta devoted her life to her large and extended family
traveling to Canada and settling in Port Arthur
Her husband had procured a large rambling house on Waverley Street
which she shared with her brothers and sisters
Family was everything to her and she flourished while feeding and nourishing her loved ones
Marietta added three more treasures to her chest; daughters Rosarina
Her cup runneth over surrounded by her family and siblings
She was an indulgent mother and mother-in-law
who did her utmost to make our lives easier by having cooked and baked goods readily available when we hurriedly arrived at the homestead after school and work
and great grandmother who showered us all with oodles of love and that cache of ever-present chocolates
Most importantly she always said a kind word to those that needed it
readily gave a kiss and embrace to mend a hurt and spent countless time with loved ones
She was someone who was glad to listen to whatever her friends had to say and took the time to look at things their way
This soft spoken and gentile woman nurtured all of us with traditional foods (and cookies!)
Marietta is greatly mourned by her daughter Maria and husband Carmine Turco
Michael (Melissa) and Steven (Kaley) Larizza
She is also survived by her close-knit family; her brother Cosmo (Immacolata) Tassone
Gina Tassone and Pina Tassone (Italy) along with numerous loved and loving nieces and nephews
Marietta was predeceased by her husband Nazzareno (1987)
parents Rosarina and Bruno Tassone (Italy)
parents-in-law Maria Francesca and Rocco Larizza (Italy)
brothers Giuseppe and wife Filomena Tassone
brothers-in-law Bruno Larizza and Domenico Pisani (Italy)
