Wednesday afternoon was one dedicated to youth
with Men’s First Team player Michele Di Gregorio and Women’s First Team player Cecilia Salvai taking part in an event at Vinovo
It all took place around the Turin leg of the ‘Philadelphia Junior Cup | Keep Racism Out’
a national seven-a-side Under-14s tournament that is promoted by Serie A and aimed at the oratories of the cities with top-flight teams
players from our Men’s and Women’s First Teams
met the youngsters involved from the Turin parishes of Immacolata Concezione and San Donato for a few moments’ reflection and discussion
focusing on important themes like friendship
Those very themes are the same focused on by the Junior Cup project
which has ‘Keep Racism Out’ in its very name
the boys presented Cecilia and Michele with a t-shirt with the message “football is friendship” on it
which is one of the key themes of the competition
Also present at the meeting were Felice Fabrizio (People and Sustainability Manager of the Club)
Riccardo Tinozzi (Delegate of the Protection of Minors Project of the Club and member of Juventus’ Psychology department)
Claudio Giovanni Cortese (Professor at the University of Turin’s Department of Psychology and Scientific Manager of the Juventus Training project)
and Giulia Panebianco (of the Lega Serie A’s Corporate Social Responsibility Office)
The 2024/2025 UEFA Youth League is set and ready to commence
and like the new-look UEFA Champions League
there will be several new features starting this season
The UEFA Executive Committee has approved a new structure for the UEFA Youth League over the past few months
where the competition will adapt to the change in format of UEFA's ‘Senior’ club competitions and will thus include the 36 youth teams from clubs that qualified for the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League group stage
as far as the ‘Champions League’ pathway is concerned
has been modified to include the national youth champions of all UEFA member associations
Previously participation was limited to the top 32 associations in the ranking
thus the new structure gives greater involvement to youth teams from around Europe
the most important international competition for youth clubs will also play out a different first phase compared to past year's: unlike the ‘classic’ group stage
in this edition the teams will play in a single ‘League Phase’ in which they will play six matches - three at home and three away - which will coincide with the first six matches scheduled for Coach Thiago Motta's first team
The campaign of Francesco Magnanelli's Juventus Under-20 team will thus also start at home
with the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo hosting the challenge between the Bianconeri and PSV Eindhoven
The Dutch come to Turin having played three official matches since the start of the season
PSV overcame Utrecht's Under-19 side in the first round of the national cup
they've earned one win - in the opener against Sparta Rotterdam - and suffered one defeat against Utrecht on the last matchday played on Saturday
Roma and Juventus continued their impressive start to the Serie A season with victories over Inter and Sassuolo respectively
are still within touching distance of the top two after they claimed a comfortable win over Pomigliano
Let’s take a detailed look into how the action unfolded on matchday four of the 2023-24 Serie A season
Both teams came into the contest with hopes of claiming their first points of the season
it was Sampdoria who flew out of the blocks
Aurora De Rita was on hand to tap the ball home after Doris Bačić saved from Michela Giordano’s initial effort
Giordano had a goal of her own to celebrate in the 19th minute when she rounded the Napoli goalkeeper and guided the ball into the awaiting net
Although Alice Corelli forced Amanda Tampieri into action in the second period
Napoli were unable to find a cutting edge in the final third
ensuring they fell to a fourth consecutive league defeat
Sampdoria move up to seventh following their first win of the campaign
while Napoli sit at the foot of the Serie A table
Milan experienced a frustrating outing in Saturday’s away meeting with Como
Scotland international Christy Grimshaw threatened to open the scoring in the first half
drawing a fine save out of Mária Korenčiová after meeting a corner from the right flank
as Como held firm to clinch a positive result against one of the biggest sides in the country
While Milan have just four points to their name
having lost only one of their opening four matches
Fiorentina spurned the chance to take the lead in the fourth minute when Verónica Boquete sent her penalty harmlessly wide
the visitors hit the front through Michela Catena
who headed in from a rebound after her initial strike was pushed onto the crossbar by Ana Buhigas
Boquete doubled Fiorentina’s advantage moments before the interval to make amends for her early penalty miss
The 36-year-old turned provider in the second period
laying the ball into the path of Miriam Longo
Pauline Hammarlund added a fourth in the 78th minute
before Pomigliano’s Dalila Ippolito netted a late consolation from the penalty spot
While the hosts are still waiting for their first win of the season
the victory extends Fiorentina’s unbeaten start to the campaign
Juventus maintained their 100% start to the season with a dominant display against Sassuolo
Lineth Beerensteyn opened the scoring in the sixth minute
before Cristiana Girelli headed home from Barbara Bonansea’s cross to put the home side in the driving seat
Beerensteyn added a third 10 minutes before the break when she cut inside onto her right foot and drove a low strike past Solene Durand
There was still time for Juventus to net a fourth before half time after Maelle Garbino chased down Durand’s clearance
Matters got worse for the visitors in the second period when Erika Santoro was shown a straight red card for pulling back Beerensteyn as the last defender
The hosts coasted through the remainder of the contest and will now turn their attention to a tricky fixture against Fiorentina next weekend
Fresh from claiming a 3-0 first-leg victory against Vorskla Poltava in Champions League qualifying
Roma made an authoritative start to proceedings at Stadio Tre Fontane
Their early dominance was rewarded in the 18th minute when Giada Greggi arrived on the scene to thump home from Emilie Haavi’s inviting cross
Valentina Giacinti led Roma’s quest for a second
with the Italy international firing over the crossbar
before she stung the palms of Sara Cetinja
The Serbian goalkeeper made a fine stop after the interval to keep out Manuela Giugliano’s goalbound free-kick
but she could only guide her header against the woodwork
Following a number of promising chances, Roma finally doubled their advantage in the 66th minute when Lisa Alborghetti inadvertently diverted Evelyne Viens’ cross into her own net
Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela made a superb reaction save late on to ensure Roma recorded a third consecutive clean sheet in all competitions
The Serie A champions will be back in action on Wednesday
as they look to extend their sizable lead over Vorskla Poltava and seal their place in the UWCL group stage

The Serie A Femminile has started last weekend
With it now being a fully professional league
it’s very interesting to see how the sides will be performing and which players might come to Italy
Is there a possibility of a team getting the better of Juventus this year
In this review we briefly look at the games played every week in Serie A
Title holders Juventus started the season with an away game at Como
For Juventus it’s important to regain the title but also come far in the UWCL
But this year could prove to be harder than others
It’s fair to say that Juventus didn’t have much resistance from Como as the score tells us
It ended 6-0 in favour of the Turin side with three goals from Girelli
a brace from newcomer Beerensteyn and one goal from Boattin
while Como will do well to forget this result as soon as possible
The Milan outfit has big plans for the future and one testament to those ambitions is the signing of Swedish star Kosovare Asllani
but the Florence side was too strong for the Milanisti: 1-3
Two goals from Kajan and one from Mijatovic sealed the deal for the Tuscan squad
These two sides are familiar within the Italian football landscape and provide entertainment on the pitch
Their objectives for this season are a little bit unclear
but certainly there will be enough passion on and off the pitch for these sides
Sampdoria was the lucky one in terms of results
They won away at Sassuolo with 2-1 thanks to goals from Kelly Gago in the latter stages of the game
Before that Sassuolo were leading 1-0 thanks to a first half goal by Clelland
Sampdoria finished strongly and that’s why they could use their dominance in those final stages of the game
Roma finished second in the last Serie A and wants to challenge for the title
Coming of a good qualification in round 1 of the UWCL
they hoped to continue their form against Pomigliano
A clean shit and goals from Giacinti and Da Silva sealed the deal for the Romanisti
For Parma this game meant a debut in the Serie A as they took over Empoli’s license
The host from Milan hope to impress and score high
in order to qualify for UWCL – but they will need to have a great season
Inter had a comfortable afternoon in the Serie A against Parma
They won 4-1 thanks to goals from Van der Gragt
Parma could only score after they were 4-0 via Cox in the 90th minute of the game
Newcastle United vs Stockport County: Magpies ground out tough first home victory
Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur: Blues ease past Lilywhites in Final Pre-Season Friendly
an event was held at Vinovo as part of the Juventus Studium training programme
which kicked off in 2020 and has resumed this season with the regular participation of high-profile speakers from the football world and beyond
The event on Thursday featured none other than Massimiliano Allegri as the guest speaker
The men’s first-team coach met the coaching staff working with young male and female players in the press room at the Training Center in Vinovo
kicking off his speech with the impressive project involving Next Gen
and connecting it with the careful management of the transition from the under-19s into the first team
Allegri spoke about the difference that he has experienced first-hand as Juventus coach in relation to the step up from Primavera youth football to the first-team squad before and after the creation of the under-23s and he highlighted the positive differences that have been triggered by the inception of the under-23s
from the focus on talent to the importance of the discipline that every Juventus player needs to have
given that there can be no shortage of discipline from the youngest youth team all the way up to the first team at a club like Juventus
It is an area that makes the club unique and different from the rest
it was a wonderful morning of sport and sporting culture
which concluded with Gianluca Pessotto giving Allegri a present on behalf of everyone at the event including the message “We’re ever so grateful to you for supporting us in developing our young players”
the coordinator of Italy women's national youth teams
visited the Training Center facilities today
starting with the meeting with Stefano Braghin
and with the Juventus women's youth sector managers
He then participated in an interesting round table together with coaches and backroom staff of the youth sector and concluded his visit by taking in a training session of the women's Under 19 team
An interesting exchange of ideas and opinions with a view to a fruitful and continuous collaboration
born just outside of Paris in Mantes-la-Jolie on 2 June 1997
The defender joins the club from PSG on a contract that runs through to 30 June 2025
began her career with FC Mantois 78 before making her senior bow with Aurillac Arpajon
Her time there led to a switch to second-tier Reims in 2016
with the club clinching promotion to the top flight in 2019
thanks in part to the defender’s solid displays
where her debut came against none other than her previous employer in a season in which the club from the capital was crowned French champions
who spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid as the team finished fourth in the top tier in Spain
returned to Paris for the first half of the current campaign and is now set to embark on a new experience in another major European league
Everyone at the club wishes Bénédicte a warm welcome
It was a snow session for the Bianconeri today in Vinovo
who stepped up their preparations for their Serie A and Coppa Italia matches against Atalanta on Sunday 25 and Wednesday 28 February respectively
Tomorrow at 12.00 CET, Massimiliano Allegri will meet the media for his Juve-Atalanta press conference, which you can follow on the club’s international Twitter account
Vinovo has never been more home to Juventus Women
the Under 23s and the Juventus Youth Sector
in recent weeks a complete functional reorganisation of the Training Center structures has been implemented
which from today are increasingly tailored to the teams that use them
the first big news is represented by the new spaces dedicated to Juventus Women: changing rooms
physiotherapy and support give a whole wing of the JTC of Vinovo a specific identity
This is something which is unique in Italy
as for the first time an Italian club has a section of their sports centre exclusively dedicated to the female football sector
The Youth Sector area has also been redesigned
with a dedicated entrance and specific areas for competitive and pre-competitive activities
which was already being used last year by the players trained today by Coach Pecchia
is where before the inauguration of the JTC Continassa
Another "gem" in this restyling in Vinovo is the creation of a specific area
where once stood the J|College is an area for all the technical staff present at the JTC
but which also offers (in collaboration with adids) a relaxation area for players
Having approved the half-yearly financial report for 2015/16
the Juventus Board of Directors was shown around Juventus Training Center in Vinovo on Wednesday afternoon
There they were able to see first-hand the areas where the first-team trains
J-College and all facilities related to the club’s youth academy
Hans Nicolussi Caviglia and Moise Kean probably didn't even dare dream of such when they met for the first time in the Vinovo locker room over ten years ago
From that moment their paths have intertwined
the last leg of the Juventus Summer Tour 2023
the pair are able to reflect on their many past experiences together
and whose dreams have now turned to reality
without forgetting the road that has allowed them to get here
Both remember their first meeting very well
Moise was entering an entirely new environment
was already at home in black and white: "I remember very well the first time Moise arrived at Vinovo
When he entered the locker room everyone whispered
Then we took to the field and I discovered that yes
he really was strong!" Hans also remembers another detail: "The kitman then gave him some shoes for training."
It's up to Moise to pick up the thread of that story: "Yes
I thought I just had to go for medical examinations
instead I had to train and I hadn't brought anything
because there were so many children in the locker room and we were divided into two groups
I was with him on the pitch and our friendship was born from there."
The coach back then was Corrado Grabbi (pictured below with Moise)
when asked to think of a key figure that contributed to their growth
Hans has no doubts: "We had Mister Grabbi for five or six seasons and he trained us both as players and as men." Moise adds
And I would also add Mister Antonio Marchio."
It was certainly not easy to get to this point
"I always knew that he would reach the top
because he was different from everyone else." Hans reciprocates with
"From the first meeting I knew that Moise would reach very high levels
He had qualities that the others didn't have
and I was able to see his growth as a footballer with every day that passed."
An understanding glance back then was enough and
"A glance is enough to understand each other
I know how he reacts to certain things and what he thinks in certain moments
"Some things I see him do now I've seen him do a thousand times over the years and so I know what goes through his head at certain moments
I know that on the surface we can appear very different
but I think we have a basis of genuineness in common that has allowed us to bond
Fate was definitely involved on the day of Nicolussi Caviglia's debut in the First Team
where his good friend Moise had already taken his place in the dressing room with the senior squad
Juventus-Udinese was played at the Allianz Stadium
and the game halts for a substitution: Kean out
Making your debut Serie A while coming on for a friend..
"It was even better to make my debut like this," Hans recalls
"I remembered all the games played together
even when their journeys took different paths
Each stage was accompanied by a message from the friend who had been with them through thick and thin
Hans wrote to Moise after his first goal and after his move to Everton; Moise wrote to Hans in his most difficult moment
the cruciate ligament tear in 2020 and then later on
when other challenges further slowed his return to the game in the 2021
Nicolussi Caviglia is now enjoying the beauty of the moment: "It's such a great feeling
I know we can rely on the sense of belonging we have and it's something special because we've been together with this shirt since we were eight years old
"I had a feeling that one day we would meet again here." How right you were
August 11 marked the date for our Bianconere's first training session of the new season
The first official match is scheduled for September 6
when Joe Montemurro's Bianconere will play the first match of the Women's Champions League qualification mini-tournament against Okzhetpes
Stefano Alfero – Individual development coach
The club would like to send special thanks to Matteo Scarpa
who will be coach of the Under-19s Women's team from 2023/24
and to goalkeeper coach Giuseppe Mammoliti
whose path with Juventus Women - one which began in 2017 - will continue along a different path going forward
Eighteen years have passed since that tragic Friday
but the memory of Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri remains forever in our hearts
Two boys bound by an infinite passion for football
and by a cruel fate that took them away too soon
those of two 17-year-old boys with the aspiration of having fun and playing football
Goalkeeper Riccardo and midfielder Alessio: two promising youngsters from the Juventus youth academy with the determination and ambition to wear the First Team jersey
That cold December marked the end of all their wishes
Memories that continue to live on at the Vinovo training centre
the home of Juventus Women and all the youngsters in the Juventus Youth Sector who carry on Ale and Ricky's dreams
The main Vinovo pitch is named in their memory and is a symbol of hope for the girls and boys who aspire to play for Juventus
these young footballers train and have fun pursuing their dreams
Ale and Ricky are present in our thoughts and hearts

We previously wrote about the cheapest smartphone with an 18:9 screen we could find online
which costs under P4,000 (approximately $80) on the Lazada Philippines website
If you’re still pinching pesos to jump on the widescreen trend
we’ve got good news: A cheaper option exists in the Vinovo K1
the handset currently retails for a bargain-basement price of P2,999 ($60) on Lazada
it doesn’t get any cheaper than this
Vinovo K1: the cheapest Apple iPhone X clone we’ve seen on Lazada Philippines
But that almost-predatory price tag isn’t the only thing worth noting about the Vinovo K1
the cheapest 18:9 handset we could find is also a clone of the most expensive commercially available widescreen device out there
We’re referring to the iPhone X, to be clear, and as with Apple’s prohibitive flagship
the K1 has a notch above its 5.5-inch screen
plus a vertically aligned camera and flash module around the back

The rear camera is said to include a 2-megapixel sensor
though the listing clearly shows a dual-lens setup
An unfortunate mishap on the seller’s part
the selfie camera of the Vinovo K1 is 5 megapixels
things are pretty much par of the course: a quad-core CPU with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of base storage; 3G connectivity (there’s no 4G LTE support for network providers); a 2,800mAh battery; and Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Young goalkeeper Emil Audero Mulyadi will make his Juventus debut in the final game of Italian Serie A campaign this season against Bologna on Saturday
Bianconeri have already secured a record sixth straight Serie A title with a 3-0 win over Crotone last week and they are expected to field a reserve team at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
Emil Audero will play as a first choice,” said Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri in the pre-match conference
The 20-year-old is eligible to play for Indonesia at international levels via his father
But he refused an offer to join the U-22 squad for SEA Games
I was also revealed that he expressed his desire to play for Italy in the future after playing for the European giants at youth levels.
