Their new headquarters are located at a boundary between an industrial area and farmland, and hence belong to both the industrial and the natural landscape. The aim of the project is to interface both landscapes and acknowledge their different qualities and values. The volume of the building is designed to “bring the two landscapes inside”, and integrate them in the new spaces. The corridor/office plan is inverted on the two levels: one totally blind side and one totally open side are overlapped, giving way to radically shifting open/ closed fronts. The eastern head fronts of the office bodies actually highlight the S-section, while the western head fronts, where fire-exit stairs are accommodated inside wall panels, are closed and silent. © Massimo CrivellariFunctional Specifications The new headquarters cover an area of about 2,800 square metres above the ground, and of about 1,400 square metres underground. Ortogel represents the leading Italian chain in the processed citrus fruit industry and it guarantees the traceability of the products from the tree to the packet Processing systems and lines are of the highest technological level and they are constantly updated to improve the quality of the products and be successful in Italy and abroad Ortogel is made up of a representative of the industrial world and representatives of the production sector that guarantee the supply of 70% of citrus fruits to be processed to obtain natural juices FreshPublishers © 2005-2025 FreshPlaza.com Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker "The summer campaign has been a difficult one for lemons - the weather and temperature changes did not help production the excessive quantities from all over the world and an ensuing drop in prices have further compromised the season," explains Ferdinando Vinaccia "The incessant and abundant presence of Spanish lemons on the market at low prices led to serious difficulties for national and overseas products Prices have dropped by as much as 60% compared to 2018 and 2017."  "Prices were very high in the past few years so much so that lemons cost more than double what they do now Producers are therefore not satisfied with their profits and are paying the price of high management costs and small fragmented plots." "We are currently working with PGI lemons from Sorrento which have been affected by the rain in May quantities available on the market are good Verdello are not doing so great - quotations are indeed interesting but there is little produce available."   "We should be working with Verdello and Sorrento until late September then it will be the turn of Primofiore from Sicily in early October." new outbreaks of mal secco are always being reported and cryptogam is spreading especially due to the humid weather this year We are hoping for new production strategies and technologies to contain it."  we are hoping for the market trend to improve and for the fall campaign to be better than the summer one." Company history:LIOTTI Group products are present in the H&R sector The company from Crotone is well-known on an international level for the production of lemon juice and has become a complex business considering its diversification with sauces and single-doses The acquisition in 2017 of the historic brand OLIBAR which was already a leader in the single-dose condiment and sauces segment (e.g etc.) was only the start of a journey that has seen the company become a European leader with a daily production of approximately six million sachets of liquid/thick products and almost as much of powdered products The company also boasts an internal typography for the printing of films and for the customization of sachets with client brands The leading products are oil and vinegar sachets For more information:Liotti SpaZona Industriale Passovecchio88900 Crotone (KR) - ItalyTel.: 0962 938311Email: [email protected]www.liotti.it Former Apofruit director Ilenio Bastoni  is now part of Greenyard Fresh Italy "The arrival of Bastoni is a further step towards the organic and traditional production world and together with Greenyard's partnerships and experiences with retailers it constitutes an added value for the entire sector which is in need of evolution during this period of crisis," reads a company note.   Bastoni and Apofruit parted ways in September "I chose to continue my professional path in a wider context with an international prospect The considerable and ambitious projects set up by Greenyard have driven me to this choice It is a group with diversified activities that integrates the production system within a globalized market I am proud of being part of this group and I am ready to give my contribution." "This year we have unfortunately seen many farms completely lose their harvest we are happy that we survived thanks to our antifreeze system and we think that we will obtain a higher price than the average price of last year Salvatore Torrisi (center) with Adriano Fiorentini (left) and Massimo Fiorentini (right) during an on-field inspection The Firleo company is an important proof of the effectiveness and efficiency of the AID fans How does an antifreeze fan work? The area protected by a fan is egg-shaped and oriented towards the direction and intensity of the night breeze about 2/3 of the protected area is oriented towards the direction of the breeze and 1/3 is in front of it The isotherms also show that the fan becomes most effective at about 20 m from the operating unit with a shielded area covering from 5 to 7 ha The purpose of the fan is to mix the warmer air layers that are formed 14 - 15 m above the ground (called the inversion layer) the temperature difference during a night frost is 4.5 - 5.0°C lower in the air layers around the plants than at 15 - 18 m above the ground the fan mixes the warmer air layers with the colder air layers around the trees This movement of the airflow causes an increase in the temperature of the leaves The Sorrento PGI lemon season at La Costiera started on 1 January and will continue until 15 October. "This season comes with a new packaging, which will be used in addition to the traditional wood and plastic packaging. These new  practical cardboard trays can contain two or four lemons (see Freshplaza of 3/12/2020) intended for both domestic and foreign markets," said Valentina Sanna "Starting this week we will get into the thick of business PGI-labeled lemons have higher prices than conventional lemons," continued Sanna the Sorrento lemon has become more popular and has achieved good results at a national and European scale the taste and the organoleptic characteristics of the fruit which is juicy and rich in essential oils and vitamin C make the lemon appreciated everywhere in Europe adjustments must be made to continue exporting to that country The United States and the United Arab Emirates are also interested in our lemons." The Sorrento lemon is a product unique in its kind it differs from other types for its medium-large caliber which is not a defect but a distinctive feature its exceptional aroma and flavor and its long shelf-life It is a crop linked to the region and to the craftsmanship which takes place on the Sorrento peninsula harvesting is made by hand and the leaves are not removed "We do our best to preserve and guarantee the traditional aspects of the cultivation but we are forced to modernize the packaging to meet the demands of the market Every year the number of growers growing this reference increases and this allows us to offer a greater supply and good quality," concluded Sanna Contact:   La CostieraVia Pantanello, II tr. dx - Zona Industriale04022 Fondi (LT) - ItalyPhone: (+39) 0771 531807Email: [email protected]Website: www.la-costiera.com  the lemon campaign started between late September and early October with Primofiore from Sicily in addition to the classic traditional lemon range we have introduced a new packaging format - a cardboard punnet containing two fruits weighing 300 g," explains export manager "This new solution was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the big retail chains especially since the appealing format pushes sales."
