Kaykay Chauhan at Harrow Arts Centre on September 9 SOME of the greatest British music talent is on the UK live circuit and versatile singer Abira Shah firmly falls into that category The daughter of acclaimed singer Sittara Shah has carried on her mother’s legacy with superb songs and great live performances She headlines the Retro Future show with Zaheer Abbas Khan  The musically rich concert features classic Bollywood songs presented in a contemporary way Eastern Eye caught up with the top talent to discuss the show her biggest inspiration and the secret of a great live performance  How much does performing live mean to you Performing live means everything to me as I’ve always looked at performing and singing as my passion and first love  What has been your most memorable moment on stage but a particular one I remember is when I got to perform for the queen of Morocco She heard my voice and asked the organisers I would definitely remember that as one of the memorable moments on stage The Retro Future show is as close to our signature line as we can say We are singing songs by legends such as Lata Mangeshkarji Mohammed Rafi saab and Asha Bhosleji in 2023 retro portrays our speciality as well as our capabilities of being able to perform these legends in our own style but with respect and without any massive changes We still try to keep the sweetness and a touch of real artists in their music Which song from that decade do you love the most Some of my favourites of her from the 1980s are Dekha Ek Khwab  What is it like being on a bill with other singers  I am blessed to have performed with many artists and it’s always a beautiful feeling to be able to share the same stage with so much talent there’s always something to learn from every artist I’m lucky to have some really close friends who I perform on stage with as well Once we are on stage together then it’s not work/ job for us  Which genre do you prefer as a versatile singer  Without thinking I would always choose old classics as I have been raised and grew up listening to them whether it is semi-classical or sad/romantic numbers  My mother Sittara Shah will always be my biggest inspiration and support when it comes to music My mother is an official ‘Ganda-bandh Shagird’ (musical disciple) of Madam Noor Jehan I have seen my mother shining on stage since I opened my eyes I’m blessed to have a mother who I could learn from and get inspired by  What do you think is the secret of a great live performance  The secret is always to make sure your audience feels comfortable – they’re as nervous/scared as you are before a performance starts Once you have made a connection with the audience not just because of her voice or singing but also because of her struggles and hardships We all know our field of work could be a little brutal sometimes and that is what I have seen my mum face from the time she set foot in this industry We are lucky to have a voice in these times because back then you could not speak a lot about the unfairness of showbusiness  Why should we come to the Retro Future show  I think you should definitely come to the Retro Future show because you don’t want to miss out on the variety and different flavours we have to offer but various artists with different abilities and vocal tones I’ve seen and experienced music healing me in many situations in life People always told me they feel peaceful and relaxed after listening to my voice or my music is the biggest reason for me to love music the World: Can Trump’s Foreign Film Tariffs Save US Cinema Donald Trump has announced that the United States will impose a 100% tariff on all films made outside the country this strong step is necessary to revive what he calls a rapidly declining American film industry He blames foreign governments for luring away Hollywood productions with attractive financial incentives and claims this shift is a national security concern tied to foreign “messaging and propaganda.” Trump made the announcement via his social media platform stating he has directed the Commerce Department and the US Trade Representative to start the process immediately But the announcement left more questions than answers Will these tariffs apply to movies streaming online or just theatrical releases Will American studios filming abroad be penalised No concrete implementation plan has been shared so far This uncertainty is already sending ripples through the entertainment industry. Stocks of media giants like Disney, Netflix, and Warner Bros dipped in early trading. All three have major projects either shot or being produced overseas. Even recent hits like Captain America: Brave New World and Minecraft: The Movie were largely filmed outside the US Hollywood has increasingly looked beyond American borders due to soaring production costs at home and better deals abroad and New Zealand have become top picks for US productions thanks to tax rebates and experienced film crews Trump’s 100% tariff shakes global film industryGetty Images Timothy Richards of Vue Cinema asked how one would even define a “foreign” film The British union Bectu warned that this move could devastate international film jobs Officials in Australia and New Zealand have already pushed back vowing to support their homegrown industries China has responded to earlier US trade measures by cutting the number of American films allowed into its theatres and that is a sign that other countries might retaliate in kind While Trump says the tariffs will protect American jobs and bring back lost business With global cooperation being key to modern film production this plan could isolate Hollywood rather than help it Could this be a comeback script for American cinema or a costly sequel nobody asked for Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen ignite the screen in the fiery teaser of Thalaivan Thalaivii Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen are set to share the screen in Thalaivan Thalaivii directed by National Award winner Pandiraj giving fans a sneak peek into a romance that’s anything but ordinary Shared by Sathya Jyothi Films on social media the teaser opens not with visuals but with voices a clever narrative choice that immediately draws the audience in each addressing the heroine as "Arasi" (Queen) While promises of love and loyalty are made it’s evident this is no conventional love story - YouTubeyoutu.be The scene then shifts to the lead pair cooking kothu parotta together in what appears to be a restaurant kitchen Their playful banter swiftly escalates into a heated exchange Nithya’s character questions whether this is how a queen should be treated prompting Vijay’s character to retort that she should return to her father’s palace The sharp humorous tone hints at the complex layered relationship at the heart of the film Though the duo previously collaborated on the Malayalam film 19(1)(a) this marks their first Tamil film together Their on-screen chemistry is undeniable in the teaser effortlessly moving between affection and friction portraying a relationship that feels authentic and lived-in Director Pandiraj has described the film as "a battlefield with kisses" an apt summation of what appears to be a gritty Ragav’s editing promise a visually striking experience Comedy star Yogi Babu also joins the cast in a pivotal role One moment in the teaser has especially set social media abuzz was a cheeky line from Yogi Babu “This couple is not normal like us.” Many believe the dialogue subtly references Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan recalling a similar line used by a fan at a crowded promotional event featuring the couple netizens have interpreted it as a playful nod the teaser ends with Sethupathi’s character pulling out a gun and firing a shot leaving viewers on a cliffhanger.Overall,Thalaivan KARACHI: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has struck down the Malir Expressway from its list of priorities, backing out from financing the project, The News reported Saturday.  In a letter to Advocate Abira Ashfaq, ADB’s Accountability Mechanism office said that the “Malir Expressway Project is no longer an ADB-assisted project" following complaints from indigenous farmers who cited environmental damages and the threat of displacement. The development came as a victory for the farmers after they lost a petition against the project in the Sindh Environmental Protection Tribunal on April 15.  The tribunal had disposed of the plea challenging the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval accorded to the Malir Expressway project by the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa).  It allowed the project but ordered the government to set up a committee to ensure that no environmental damage took place due to the project. Indigenous farmers of Malir had lodged a complaint before the ADB against the Malir Expressway on September 22, 2022, with the help of Abira, following which the ADB held an online meeting with the lawyer and others in October. In the same month, an ADB team from the Philippines along with its resident team of Pakistan visited Karachi and met Abira, Advocate Zubair Abro, who was fighting the case against the expressway in the tribunal, researcher Sadya Siddiqi and local resident Salman Baloch. The meeting lasted for four hours. In November, the ADB, as part of their accountability mechanism, further listened to Abira and the farmer’s complaints. The Malir Expressway, as per its EIA report, is a 39-kilometre-long corridor connecting Defence Housing Authority (DHA) with the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway. The project starts right from Jam Sadiq Bridge on Korangi Road and runs along the right bank of the Malir River ending near DHA City outside Karachi. The project was initiated under a public-private partnership, which means the provincial government had to seek private capital to build the six-lane road infrastructure.  The project’s construction cost was estimated at Rs27.583 billion, according to the construction bid document and a press statement made by the Sindh chief minister at the financial close that was achieved in June 2022. Of the Rs27.583 billion, the Sindh government pledged to share Rs4.137 billion, which was 15% of the total cost. The private partner or concessionaire's share was Rs5.517 billion or 20%, and the commercial loan to be borrowed from a group of banks was Rs17.929 billion which was 65%. The private partner referred to as a concessionaire or sponsor is the consortium of three construction firms which has been registered as a company, Malir Expressway Pvt Ltd, whose office is on Karsaz Road. The concessionaire agreement was reportedly signed in April 2020. Commercial loans from a group of banks were sought to finance the remaining funding requirement since the Sindh government and private partner's resources were not sufficient for such a cost-intensive project. As the provincial government could not easily manage the amount it had pledged for the project, it asked the ADB to finance it, which is referred to as the Viability Gap Fund (VGF) in the public-private partnership terminology. The VGFs are always used for the public financing part of such partnerships. Basically, the ADB considered paying Rs4.137 billion under its umbrella project supporting public-private partnership investments in Sindh, of which one sub-project was the Malir Expressway.  The provincial government was never in the position to fund even the Rs4.137 billion requirement through its annual development plan even prior to the COVID-19 economic slowdown and the floods of 2022. As a result of the complaint filed in September 2022, subsequent online meetings held in October and November, and an in-person meeting held in October of that year, the ADB has now decided to remove the Malir Expressway project from its portfolio. This means the ADB will not be providing the Rs4.137 billion needed by Sindh for its share of the construction cost. This development may also not go unnoticed by the local banks that agreed to extend commercial loans for the project. A member of Abira’s team told The News that the Malir Expressway project was unfeasible now and it was also unlikely that the World Bank would fund it.  “The ADB has found merit in the complaint filed against the project which is riddled with a faulty and fraudulent Environment Impact Assessment study, non-disclosure of the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) survey that entails potential demolitions of homes and ecological destruction of the last-surviving river of Karachi, its riverbed and flood plains, and the fields of Malir.” Celebrated on May 5, Tango no Sekku, or Children’s Day, is a Japanese holiday that’s dedicated to the well-being and healthy growth of children. It is common, especially in households with boys, to set up koinobori (carp streamers) outside of their homes. In Hokkaido, the Jozankei Onsen Stream Carp streamer celebrates this important holiday with over 400 koinobori which sweep the skies of the Jozankei Onsen area. ■Location: Jozankei Onsen, Minato-ku, Sapporo Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park, Hokkaido, is where you will find over 200 different types of tulips from around the world. The cast isn't just dealing with the typical interpersonal drama — the fuel that sustains reality TV binge-watchers for hours at a time They're dealing with the same real-world issues that have made the current news cycle both terrifying and depressing all in one When Abira Greene sat down with Nicki Swift over Zoom it became clear that quarantine had given the mother-of-four a new perspective reinvigorating the tenacity that put her on the path to Lifetime fame in the first place which emerged during Abira's explosive Season 3 debut the stillness of coronavirus seems to have set her focus on moving forward Abira Greene sounds off on everything from searching for common ground with her frenemies to her work as an activist I've been watching the new season and I love it So I wanted to know how your relationship is with the twins It is definitely drama between the twins and myself But I just feel like a lot of factors play into that on and off camera It's just one of those things where you don't see eye to eye And then you have other people also intervening behind doors and stuff like that And it's also different maturity levels and just certain things like that And I had to come to a raps to understand that I am older than the twins and I have been through a lot of other things that they haven't experienced in life yet so their understanding is different than my understanding you're not going to see eye to eye with everyone because you guys lost castmate Ashley "Minnie" Ross (pictured above) personally what everybody does as far as coping because her death came along with the pandemic and then me having four kids in the house all day it's one day at a time because we're now seeing her for the first time I think tonight is definitely going to be an emotional night If you were going to reprise Fire [Greene's stage name] or if you were focusing more on other things I am focused more on just acting and my entrepreneurship as well as showing my kids generational wealth So I'm building businesses with the children as well What really made you choose to not dance anymore But I just happened to get famous and make a lot of money off of it they actually came to me and said they didn't want me to dance anymore because my two oldest just didn't want me to do it anymore and I felt that was enough reason for me to stop So Juicy was like one of your closest friends and she's always helping you a little bit with the cast when you get into fights or are producers going by and telling her to be that because I wouldn't want the other to think that I'm taking their side or the other side over there So that baffles me with her when she does intervene because I'm just like because I don't want you to have to try to prove your friendship to me These girls had already been through three seasons together My whole thing is just stay neutral if we are cool That's something else I also want to ask you about because you came in a little later than the other girls Because people have been talking about this online was your goal coming in to just make as much drama as possible to make the show good I came in the show to bring my personality because I have such a vibrant and loud and confident personality you can pretend to be somebody until that somebody who you want to actually be like steps into the room And I think that's what happened with these group of women So what kind of drama do you think is the most epic in the newest season that hasn't aired yet and a lot of stuff that I'm seeing on episodes I don't know what's the biggest drama though that hasn't aired yet And we have to stick together as a little women community we have to bite our tongues to get through this." And it's just hard I also want to talk to you about your rap career I know that it's a rough moment right now for musicians because you can't really perform So I've just been writing and being in the studio I actually have a studio session tomorrow night with Bumpman called "Don't Give Up." It's a really great song It goes along with my transitioning onto the show and just how I see things after the pandemic and Minnie's death and just a lot of things that I've experienced during that time last year "Don't Give Up," and then whatever me and Bumpman fire up tomorrow night I know we're definitely going to perform that So are you and Bumpman still going strong in your relationship I think we're just trying to take it one day at a time I do want to say that great things take time so I feel like we're just learning each other during this process I know that also the pandemic has been difficult for people in relationships because it either pulls people apart or pushes them closer together in a way they might not have been ready for Have you found that any of that has happened they were scared to travel and things like that So I think that has affected all relationships it's going to be exciting and things like that you have a lot of entrepreneurial stuff that you're starting with your kids but I haven't went live with it with the public We're going to specialize in just specialized merchandise from all kinds of things My daughter has a business called Lash Vibez the big ones that all the kids love to wear because we know if everything is going to pop I think that's really smart and really good mom advice Do you have a launch date at all for your personal brand I'm holding on to those dates because I feel like those are going to be something special so I want to make it a big rooha when I do announce the dates but I know I'm not the only one in the world doing this maybe I'll be able to inspire and motivate someone else to also push forward who's going through something similar my story and my situation will inspire someone else to keep going for their dreams I honestly need more coffee just even hearing you list that out Is there anything else that you wanted before we go to talk about or promote that I didn't cover It's about basically when I say "normalize dwarfism," I know a lot of people say we do see you guys as normal." And on a surface level or you thinking that we're competent enough that's what I mean also with normalize dwarfism but maybe we can be the mafia or we can be the president or something in the movie to where it shows a normalized role for a person with dwarfism And it's just about me doing public speaking to everyone and educating them on just proper knowledge when coming towards a person with dwarfism or coming at a person with dwarfism You can catch Abira Greene on Season 6 of Little Women: Atlanta Abira Greene is currently appearing in her third season of Little Women: Atlanta after making her debut during Season 3 of the Lifetime series she was brought on as a friend of Tanya Scott who hasn’t appeared at all during Season 5 Though she’s still listed as a recurring cast member that hasn’t stopped Abira from taking a front and center role on the series as she works to make her mark on the hip hop world Abira has been putting in the effort when it comes to making her music dreams come true and landing a deal with the Street Execs and this has led many Little Women: Atlanta viewers to want to know more about her While she’s made a name for herself on Little Women: Atlanta, Abira Greene is actually from Tampa, Florida Abira worked as an exotic dancer and went by the name “Fire” she is working to break into hip hop and goes by Lil Vee (as in Vicious) The 33-year old Abira is a little person and has previously shared that her type of dwarfism is called Achondroplasia Three of Abira’s children are not little people while Phebe is with multiple income streams coming from television appearances we can imagine that Abira is doing pretty well for herself Little Women: Atlanta airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Lifetime Δdocument.getElementById( "ak_js_1" ).setAttribute( "value" Δdocument.getElementById( "ak_js_2" ).setAttribute( "value" she's the kind of fire-starter producers dream of and a notable fan favorite that so-called fire has always been burning inside of her When Abira moved to Atlanta to pursue music the reality star literally was best known as Fire Dancing is what actually kick-started her success in the world of entertainment and though she's since doused that particular flame she sat down with Nicki Swift for an exclusive interview to discuss it Here's the real reason Abira hung up her high heels Abira Greene owes a lot of her current success to the fame she gained while dancing but her career started in a rather mundane way — kind of like how anyone picks up an office job or starts taking shifts at a local restaurant No one could predict her astounding success (like we said above she's a natural entertainer both on stage and on screen) "It was about survival," she told Nicki Swift "But I just happened to get famous and make a lot of money off of it." the job helped her support her four children — Jazsper they actually came to me and said they didn't want me to dance anymore," she said and I felt that was enough reason for me to stop." she's been focused on helping her kids grow their own careers and teaching them about "I'm building businesses with the children," Abira told Nicki Swift These days, Abira Greene's standing behind Terbira and Phebe as they jump into the beauty industry. Terbira has an eyelash line called Lash Vibez (Abira says she specializes in "false lashes the big ones that all the kids love to wear") Phebe is in the beginning stages of starting a handmade "I want her to really know what it takes," Abira said I think she needs to learn that footwork." You'd think that between Little Women and mentoring her kids Abira wouldn't have any time left over for her own personal projects the soon-to-be clothing and accessories brand Are You As Tall As Me and her music career (at the time of our interview she mentioned that she was hopping into the studio the following day with her on-again off-again boyfriend Bumpman to work on her new record) Like most live entertainers, Abira's music career came to a brief halt during the coronavirus pandemic, but that actually helped inspire her new single, along with Minnie Ross' unexpected death The singer plans to debut her track "Don't Give Up" on Season 6 of Little Women: Atlanta but she's holding off on announcing any other release dates for her album or the launch of her brand "I feel like those are going to be something special," she told Nicki Swift so I want to make it a big rooha when I do announce the dates." Little Women: Atlanta airs on Fridays at 9/8c on Lifetime Abira Greene is Little Women: Atlanta's resident firecracker. The Lifetime star has a big personality that doesn't always jive with those around her it's just the consequence of living authentically "Because I have such a vibrant and loud and confident personality it ruffled feathers," she admitted to Nicki Swift you can pretend to be somebody until that somebody who you want to actually be like steps into the room." Abira sounds off on her trying relationship with the twins — the key word being trying Abira Greene is the first one to admit that her relationship with the Salinas sisters isn't easy especially now that we're in the throes of Season 6 of Little Women: Atlanta "It is definitely drama between the twins and myself," she told Nicki Swift But I just feel like a lot of factors play into that on and off camera." "You have other people also intervening behind doors and stuff like that And it's also different maturity levels and just certain things like that." Abira added "I had to come to a raps to understand that I am older than the twins so their understanding is different than my understanding." who fostered a bond with the twins prior to Abira's debut on the show The castmate regularly takes on the role of an intermediary helping her friends navigate their difficult relationship Why put yourself in a problematic situation that's impossible to win "That baffles me with her when she does intervene because I'm just like "These girls had already been through three seasons together Though it doesn't look like Abira Greene and the twins are going to be using each other as emergency contacts anytime soon she does admit that she's working on their relationship It's just sometimes a little difficult because the camera catches everything – including things she doesn't even remember Working on their relationship remains one of Abira's top priorities — not just for the sake of the show but because of the shared struggles they face "We have to work together," she told Nicki Swift "And we have to stick together as a little women community we have to bite our tongues to get through this.' And it's just hard." Little Women: Atlanta airs on Fridays at 9/8c on Lifetime Little Women: Atlanta star Abira Greene opens up about how she's coping with the loss of her close friend Abira Greene's career as a musician came to a halt as music venues across the country shuttered and she was left to homeschool her four children Like many Americans who lost loved ones during the pandemic the star was left to deal with her grief in isolation."It's been rough so it was a lot for me," she told Nicki Swift Though the cast of Little Women: Atlanta has come a long way since the tragic events of Season 6 Abira admits that their choice to air their lives on television has Abira admitted she was just about to have a session with her producer and on-again the reality star's working on her brand new album but she's already created one of the most important singles "Don't Give Up," which she'll debut during Season 6 was partly inspired by Minnie's death and partly inspired by the wild direction her life took after she signed on to be a full-time member of Little Women: Atlanta "It's a really great song," Abira told Nicki Swift "It goes along with my transitioning onto the show and just how I see things after the pandemic and just a lot of things that I've experienced during that time last year Season 6 of Little Women: Atlanta is currently airing on Lifetime Little Women: Atlanta's Abira Greene is a reality TV villain eventually landing Greene a permanent role on the show When she sits down with Nicki Swift over Zoom the star exudes a bubbly sincerity that makes it difficult to understand how she came to be one of Little Women's most controversial figures Abira sounds off on what she really thinks about being a Little Women villain but Abira has been accused of the same type of manipulation Abira thinks her villain status has two root causes. First, she's unwilling to dim her flame (or Fire, as Abira was called back in her days of exotic dancing) her personality can be perceived as a threat to someone who isn't so naturally inclined at the art of capturing the camera's attention it ruffled feathers," she tells Nicki Swift And I think that's what happened with [this] group of women Now that we're in the midst of Little Women: Atlanta's sixth season it's evident that Abira Greene has outgrown her villain status she's made a concentrated effort to find common ground with the Salinas sisters This isn't just important because they're co-stars It's also because Abira recognizes the difference they can make the star's main goal is using her platform to normalize dwarfism in mainstream media we do see you guys as normal.' And on a surface level that's what I mean also with 'normalize dwarfism.'" but maybe we can be the mafia or we can be the president or something in the movie to where it shows a normalized role for a person with dwarfism." Today Abira may be settled in her role as Little Women's resident baddie but it's something she's always redefining you can catch Abira stirring up drama in Season 6 of Little Women: Atlanta Things are going to get a little tense on the next episode of Little Women: Atlanta when Abira tells Ms Juicy how upset and frustrated she is about the way she is treated within the group of friends Juicy for the way she was questioning Minnie’s health issues letting everyone at the party know that when she sees an issue this week will be no different and if things don’t change “I’m so tired of y’all wanting to muzzle me but where was everybody saying ‘Calm down!’ when these b***hes was throwing glass and their men was jumping on me Where was everybody saying ‘calm down’ at that point?” Juicy tried to interject and tell Abira that no one was trying to “muzzle” her it’s ‘Calm down!’ You know how that made me feel “I ain’t got no family out here to protect me So I’m out here alone while everybody jumping on me.” these girls are the only family that I have here So when I try to mend my relationships with them and invite them to my home it hurts,” Abira spilled in the confessional Nobody is on my side so I’ve gotta do what I’ve gotta do,” Abira tells Juicy But when Juicy calls out Abira’s “actions,” the Little Women: Atlanta star breaks down But when Juicy suggests that she needs to just put her feelings aside there ain’t no putting s**t aside.” it looks like Abira is ready to confront the Tiny Twinz for skipping her housewarming party things will likely get really intense really fast Be sure to tune in this week to see how it all plays out Little Women: Atlanta airs Fridays at 9/8c on Lifetime Being a mom of four during the pandemic has meant that Abira has had to become a homeschool teacher to all of her kids. On top of that, she still has the ongoing drama of the show to deal with and it has become a lot for her. Luckily, Juicy is all ears and wants to be there for her as best as she can. When Abira gets into a group self-defense class a little too much on the show, she leaves a bad taste in the mouths of the other ladies, Juicy included. In the clip, Juicy visits Abira at home and tries to get to the bottom of what's really going on. And, in a twist unlike Abira's usual wild antics, she actually opens up to her friend. "Listen, being in this house, having four classrooms virtually going at once ... I'm not no teacher," Abira explains, of the stressors in her life amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's just over the top for me." She adds that she's "very sorry" if she ruined the group self-defense class by getting a little too intense, but she had tried to use it as a way to let go of everything on her mind. Not only is Abira dealing with the hectic new normal of virtual school with four children at home, but this was also a period of time where nationwide civil unrest was happening and Black Lives Matter protests were more prevalent than ever. She explains in the clip that while she's trying to help her children learn from home, she's also struggling to properly open their eyes to everything in the movement. "Jasper's acting out every chance that he gets," Abira says of her son. "I just want him to know we're in a time of Black Lives Matter. It scares me." She goes on to say that she plans to give Jasper time to talk to her one-on-one so they can discuss everything they have seen in the news. She already has a mixtape called 'Are You As Tall As Me' in 2018 who also has a YouTube channel to her name has inherited achondroplastic dwarfism from her mother The channel with four episodes seems to be outdated as the last video shared on the page more than two years ago.  The only known relationship of Abira is with rapper Bumpman The two took their relationship to the next level in Season 5 and their chemistry was at an all-time high when they showed off their affection towards each other on social media it seems unclear if the two are still together as their social media handles don't seem to have any new updates/photos of the two of them together Maybe Season 6 will shed light on where the relationship stands and if it still exists.  While her net worth and details about her other financial assets are not made public, there is no doubt that she does quite well for herself. She is a hustler and her career as a rapper, exotic dancer as well as an emcee for private events and club appearances is on the fly. When Tanya invites Abira to Andrea and Amanda's first hosting event Abira doesn't hold back when it comes to pointing out their shortcomings as hosts Abira pretends to gag as the twins try to get the crowd riled up and fail miserably She then completely steals the Tiny Twinz' spotlight by getting up and twerking Things come to a head in the parking lot after the show does not back down — some might even say she made it worse by going off on the twins saying the crowd went "wild" for her and liked her better than them but moved to Atlanta to pursue her music career She took off as an exotic dancer 10 years ago and still dances today under the stage name "Fire." Now that she's made her part on Little Women: Atlanta she's also determined to make moves in the ATL hip hop scene "Atlanta has all the resources and connections I need to make it in this industry," fight but Abira isn’t listening and now things are starting to get heated That is enough to get Andrea to say something too She responds to Abira’s verbal attack “You’re doing all that extra just to get attention b***h so calm down.” And that’s when the drama comes on the Little Women: Atlanta Season 5 finale Tune in to see what happens as the tension between Abira and the Tiny Twinz reaches an the twins remove their shoes and have to be held back by bouncers in the parking lot This is not a look that their manager thinks will help their brand She has a sitdown with them on this week’s episode to tell them they need to be more cautious But will they listen to her advice and take the high road after their bust-up The fight came after Abira, who Tanya says has always been a “loose canon”, made faces at the pair as they hosted their first nightclub gig on last week’s episode The twins then called her out on this in the parking lot outside before things escalated rapidly into a massive fight Stunned onlookers watched as things unfolded with the cameras catching the entire thing on camera after Tanya drops a bombshell on Nico he finds support in an unlikely place — Ms But then when Tanya celebrates her baby shower things get messy when he has a run-in with her mom The Tiny Twinz, Andrea and Amanda Salinas were celebrating their first music video at manager Minnie's birthday party but there was one person in the room that was not too happy about the Little Women: Atlanta stars' career milestone.  Abira Greene made it very clear she felt she deserved to have her own music video and called out Minnie for playing favorites.  "Did this b---h just say that Minnie got them a music video and not me?" she says in an exclusive clip obtained by Distractify Didn't we just have a conversation about her showing equal attention to my career reminding the aspiring rapper that she just organized a mixtape release party for her and claimed she was an "equal-opportunity" manager who continued to confront Minnie at her birthday party.  "She keeps giving the Twinz better opportunities I appreciate that Minnie threw me an album release party so I don't want to make a scene but I need to get this off my chest.  This is not the first time Abira has confronted Minnie about playing favorites "I don' know what to do with Abira," Minnie confessed "This is not the time or the place to confront me I can't believe that she would try to start something on my birthday I'm starting to think she's more of a liability than an asset."  Abira was invited to an event that was being hosted by Amanda and Andrea and steals the spotlight by twerking for the audience The reality stars ended up fighting in the parking lot after the show and the tension between them has never gone away.  Abira is currently in a relationship fellow rapper Bumpman. The couple started dating in the summer of 2018 — and they had their first date on the Lifetime reality series I have a good time with you honestly," Bumpman told Abira on the show "I kind of want to see what it's like outside of work.. It's no surprise fans of Little Women: Atlanta are shipping the pair always smiling when you are together," one fan commented "Y'all would be soooo good together!"  'Little Women: Atlanta' Star Amanda Gets Emotional During Her Father-Daughter Dance (EXCLUSIVE) Does This Music Video Mark the End of 'Little Women: Atlanta' Duo The Cheeks? (EXCLUSIVE) WARNING: This article contains disturbing content and spoilers from the new ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ episode This week's 'Little Women: Atlanta' came with a huge shock Abira Greene and her kids had moved from Florida to Atlanta so that she could explore better options on the music scene She wanted to get all her friends from the little people community together for a housewarming party and even invited the Tiny Twinz Amanda and Andrea For the uninitiated, Abira and the Twinz have been feuding since the time she heckled them at an event they were hosting Despite everything that happened between them she was expecting them at her party and when they didn't turn up she declared that they're officially on her "s*it list".  Ms Juicy threw a party to celebrate the launch of her new line of shades Abira was expecting that the "bubble-head" Twinz wouldn't show up Things hadn't gone smoothly between them at the reunion special that aired last week — there was a lot of bad blood between them and none of them made any efforts to hide it the Twinz showed up to Juicy's party with their spouses in tow and Abira confronted them about why they didn't come to hers.  The Twinz were in no mood to appease her and instead called her a "bully" and that was the beginning of the fight that only escalated from that point They were in very close proximity of each other and were yelling accusations at each other Abira made a personal comment about the Twinz Go to speech therapy." She also said something about them being jobless while Andrea flicked the birdy at her while continuously calling her a "b***h" This angered Abira and she threw her drink at the Twinz Monie had initially tried to take her glass away during the fight but she snapped back at her too and minutes later she sent it flying at Amanda and Andrea As if spitting at each other wasn't enough and came at each other with full force.  An embarrassed and shocked Juicy tried to separate them and dissipate the drama but the poor host of the party got caught in the crossfire "Juicy's bleeding," someone was heard saying as the camera panned to the ground and captured the blood-stained floor I got a cut on my foot," while also holding a napkin to her forehead She had ended up with a huge gash on her forehead as well and had to be rushed to the ER where she had to take a couple of stitches and a CAT scan Even with what happened with the "Queen of Atlanta" the Twinz and Abira didn't stop taking jibes at each other The sister duo was thrown out of the club by security and while being physically removed from the premises one of the sisters continued hurling insults at Abira "That's why you got three baby daddies h** What do you think will happen after this shocking episode Share your thoughts in the comments below.  New episodes of 'Little Women: Atlanta' air Fridays at 9 pm ET on Lifetime Season 5 of Little Women: Atlanta ended on Thursday night and after spending weeks trying to impress the Street Execs and land a spot on their summer tour we learned who will be getting a shot and who will not There was a lot of tension this season as the artists in the Little Women: Atlanta cast knew they were competing against each other for what they believed would be one spot as the opening act of the tour And while Bri wanted to perform on her own Emily tried to stop her at every possible chance She was ultimately successful in keeping Bri from going solo when she called her best friend home to help with her new baby after learning that she would be having the little boy much sooner than expected When it came time for the showcase, even Minnie and Juicy thought Abira blew it for all of them when she got drunk and made a total fool out of herself she continued her attention-seeking behavior all through the Tiny Twinz performance of Everyday They were livid that Abira wouldn’t stop dancing provocatively and calling out to them from the side of the stage but they kept going it was Abira’s turn to show everyone what she was working with (as if she hadn’t been already) She took the stage and immediately asked the DJ to stop the music so she could talk to the crowd Abira took her act to a whole new shocking level when she took off the dress she was wearing risque black bodysuit and pantyhose outfit she launched into Never Scared and it was just as gratuitous as the rest of her performances that night not a damn strip club,” Minnie fumed in the confessional “Put your damn clothes on girl!” When it was time for the Street Execs to announce who would be headed out they said it was just too hard to choose one winner the Street Execs decided they needed a full LP Tour because the showcase was a show in itself and they were completely entertained With the Little Women: Atlanta Tell All coming up next many viewers want to know more about this LP Tour and where they might be performing Monie's issue with Tamera stems from the verbal altercation the women had after Tamera met the rest of the ladies for the first time. Abira, on the other hand, is intent on helping Tamera acclimate to the group. It's not just an average group of friends, after all. These are women who also star on a reality TV show. Clearly, there's going to be a learning curve. In the clip, Monie confides in Abira about how unsettled she was when Tamera clapped back at her in the March 12, 2021, episode of Little Women: Atlanta. In that episode, Tamera finally snapped after Monie openly complained about Tamera going to another outing with Shirlene "Juicy" Pearson, who had taken Tamera under her wing. Now, Tamera has officially left a sour taste in Monie's mouth and Monie isn't afraid to voice her issues with Abira. "She just met me and then [doesn't] like my vibe," Monie says, of Tamera. "You must just don't like me." Abira gently reminds Monie that she had given Tamera the evil eye, to which Monie scoffs. Monie had already made her feelings clear regarding Juicy's protege. She felt that the younger woman, who had moved to Atlanta with dreams of breaking into the entertainment business, didn't need to ingrain herself in the cast's activities. In the clip ahead of the March 19, 2021, episode, she continues to show how annoyed she is with the newest recurring cast member of Little Women: Atlanta. When Abira mentions taking Tamera fishing to make her feel more at ease within the group, Monie is put off. "What is going on here?" Monie says in the clip. "Fishing is Abira's favorite hobby and she doesn't just share that with anyone. I have never been offered to go on one of her fishing trips." View this post on Instagram A post shared by THEE LITTLE PERSON™️ (@ayethatsmera) Despite the animosity between Monie and Tamera Abira wants to help the newbie feel more at ease since she was new to the show not too long ago herself Abira explains that it's their job to make Tamera feel comfortable because I like Tamera and I know what it's like to be a new girl in the group If Abira can welcome someone new into the fold then there's hope for pretty much anyone else on Little Women: Atlanta to do the same — even Monie Apparently she needs some more time before she and Tamera are calling each other besties Watch Little Women: Atlanta on Fridays at 8 p.m 'Little Women: Atlanta' Star Monie Cashette Is Single and Focusing on Her Businesses Ms. Minnie From 'Little Women: Atlanta' Tragically Passed Away in April of 2020 Abira Is Overwhelmed With Homeschooling on 'Little Women: Atlanta' (EXCLUSIVE) Little Women: Atlanta returns with new episodes in January 2021.
