Here’s where to find all the missing cats in Yakuza 7
The rewards for this side quest are generous
so make sure you don't miss it during Ichiban's adventures
Finding all of the cats rewards you with 1 million yen and finding an extra tenth cat for Hiro will cause him to grant another one million yen
Here's where you can find all the Yakuza LIke A Dragon missing cats
We have included a map above that’ll make finding the cats much easier for you
and below we’ll include the nitty gritty details to point you to the exact spot of your feline friends
If you head to the Bar District and go towards Survive
you’ll come across the bar and have the option to either turn left - towards the bar - or right
past the fancy art of faces and into the left entranceway where you’ll see a LEDA sign
Turn right and you’ll see the cat lying down and remember
the constant meowing will definitely give the cat’s location away!
Ichiban and Nanba got their very own place at the end of Chapter 3
and not only is it a great place to rest and get your HP/MP back to where it should be - but it’s also the home to one of Hiro’s missing cats
turn right and you’ll see a cat on a green box
The next cat you’re looking for is right where you go if you want to play the can collecting minigame
instead of going to the bottom floor of the car park
You’ll see a cat lying just behind a car
Restaurant Row’s cat is a very tricky one to find and is easy to miss if you don’t like to explore the dead ends of Ijincho
you’ll need to go towards the weapons and arms shop in Restaurant Row and then turn down the alleyway
You’ll get to a dead end but see on your map that you can turn right
Turn and you’ll see the cat right in front of you.
West Jinnai Station is home to many things
and one of them is Hiro’s missing cat
Head to the station and circle around where you’ll be able to see some silver safes
Just a few feet away from them you’ll see Hiro’s cat on top of a trash container
But to get to it you’ll need to circle around
as there’s a fence that is only accessible through the outside of the station
Head to the top left of the map where you’ll see the location of your favourite minigame - the baseball arena
but isn’t necessarily where you want to go
turn right and head towards the baseball court
You’ll see a bunch of plants and hedges
and behind one of those hedges is a missing cat
Bayside Street is just opposite of the Vocational School where Ichiban can take exams and study how to get a personality
so it’s very simple to find the building where you’ll find this fleeting feline
Head on over to the massive building opposite
go to the right side and you’ll see the cat resting on the electrical unit next to the building’s front door
Trust us when we say that Chinatown isn’t as big as it looks
where the streets will split off into four - back where you came from
Go right and you’ll see the Chinatown cat immediately
resting on a low wall by a collection of small
spacious area where cats are pretty easy to find and this cat is no exception
but only one has what looks to be a water fountain at the very top of it
This is where you’ll find the cat you’re looking for
After you get these nine cats you’ll have to go to Hiro’s office to receive your payment of 1 million yen from the man himself
you’ll have noticed that there’s one cat left… Hiro’s very first cat

we worked at our factory in Hamakita (Japan) as part of our J.DRIVE trainee program
Before the start I heard that Continental has strong interest in”Industry 4.0″ (every machine & products are connected)
Most processes are automated and all data is managed in a cloud
This article is a report about my two months in this “smart” factory
Products made at the factory are electric-brake-system (EBS) modules from our Business Unit Vehicle Dynamics (BU VED)
We are split into Industrial Engineering (IE) and Quality Assurance (QA)
My job at QA was to improve the reject rate based on data analysis of the process that causes the rejects
Although the task was “only” data analysis
I should learn the detail of each process to understand the reason of rejects
Like this I had to consider the solutions from mechanical / electrical aspects
That is a difficult but interesting aspect of this work
Another interesting thing in the factory training is communication with colleagues at QA
They are friendly and answering my questions anytime even if they are busy
but their knowledge and experience is bigger
Especially their attitude for newcomers like us is brilliant
They don’t forget that we are all working “For One Another”
and keep up efforts of communication when I am the experienced guy
As I wrote in the past post, the strongest tool to connect people is sport
and I experienced the truth again at Hamakita
When I played tennis with colleagues at Yokohama
I talked about factory training at Hamakita
Then Ogino-san from Passive Safety & Sensorics (PSS) introduced me to Nakamura-san who is the head of QA to me
I could communicate with Nakamura-san smoothly from the start
our conversation should be related to our job
so we planned such sport events to build better relationship
Communication across functions is necessary to produce better products
I would like to keep this mind until traffic accidents disappear worldwide

Vox Populi
Vox Dei is a daily column that runs on Page 1 of The Asahi Shimbun
Here is an excerpt from a letter from a man in detention: “Mother
It shows a picture of an old woman carrying a small child on her back and gazing at the sunset
He must have tried to shake himself out of his lethargy by thinking of his family
a family of four had been murdered in Shizuoka Prefecture
Hakamada was later found guilty and sentenced to death
despite vigorous protestations of his innocence in appeal courts
After years of living every single day in terror of never knowing when his execution day would be
the Tokyo High Court on March 13 ordered a retrial of the 1966 murder case
After Hakamada spent most of his life fighting the false accusation
this must be the much-awaited victory and vindication to rejoice over
He is said to be “still in his own world.” What a cruel twist of fate
French philosopher Michel de Montaigne (1533-1592) wrote in “The Essays” that punishing an innocent person is more criminal than the crime itself
the Tokyo High Court pointed out that the blood-stained clothing
once considered the most compelling evidence of Hakamada’s guilt
could very well have been fabricated and planted by law enforcement officers
They have irrevocably changed a man who once had the heart of a poet when he thought of his mother and his son at sunset
Vox Dei is a popular daily column that takes up a wide range of topics
the column provides useful perspectives on and insights into contemporary Japan and its culture

National Report
The chariots of 1959 epic “Ben Hur” and the yellow brick road of 1939 fantasy “The Wizard of Oz” are back on the big screen in Japan as cinemas begin reopening from the coronavirus crisis with a slate heavy on Hollywood classics
crime drama “Bonnie and Clyde” (1969) and disaster film “The Towering Inferno” (1974) are among other titles playing
after Japanese chain Toho Cinemas reopened 10 of its 66 theaters in areas deemed relatively safe from the coronavirus
said it would reopen 23 more cinemas on Friday in prefectures where the government has lifted the state of emergency
which had closed all of its theaters as of April 18
has implemented safety measures including keeping every other seat empty and making staff and customers wear masks
Reopening theaters leads to another challenge
however: what films to show after movie studios delayed new releases because of the pandemic
Toho’s reopened theaters mostly offer a mix of old Hollywood
recent Japanese hits and holdovers like Oscar-winning “Parasite” that were in cinemas before the closures
Its Sendai cinema in northern Japan on Tuesday was screening the American classics mentioned as well as neo-noir sci-fi classic “Blade Runner” (1982)
prison drama “The Shawshank Redemption” (1994) and several Japanese films including “Shin Godzilla” (2016)
Its Sun Street Hamakita theater in central Japan’s Shizuoka skewed more towards local films headlined by multiple screenings of Makoto Shinkai’s animation megahit “Your Name” (2016) and his follow-up “Weathering With You” (2019)
But Sun Street Hamakita was also showing Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi classic “E.T
romantic drama “An Officer and a Gentleman” (1982) and musical “West Side Story” (1961)
Asked about the selection of films on show
a Toho official simply said: “We’re playing films that are popular.”
While it doesn't follow the typical combat style in the Yakuza game series
the latest installment Yakuza: Like A Dragon certainly has a very detailed RPG-like turn-based combat system that focuses on weapons and skills
we will tell you about the best weapons in the game
here are some helpful tips that will make your inevitable grind a bit easier
Bought from Chau Ka Long's Armory for ¥3,500,000
Keep in mind that most of the aforementioned base weapons can be obtained in Silver Safes across Yokohama
as well as in several Part-Time Hero quests
All these weapons can be upgraded to their mentioned Legendary variants
which can be further upgraded to their EX versions (Kiwami versions in the Japanese version of the game)
The EX versions can be further upgraded to higher levels
but those upgrades cost millions and are usually not worth it
Let us know in the comments if you find these weapons in other locations
and look forward to more Yakuza: Like A Dragon guides in the future
and part of being a hero means finding all of Yakuza Like A Dragon’s lost cats
One of the quests in the Part-Time Hero line is finding all of Hiro’s lost cats
but you’ll want to make time for it because the reward is fantastic.
Finding the first nine earns Ichiban one million yen
A second quest opens up right afterward and tasks you with finding a tenth cat
If that’s got you drooling so much where you can’t be bothered hunting down cats, never fear. Our Yakuza: Like A Dragon cat locations guide is here to help
“Please Find My Cat” won’t unlock automatically
It’s your job to be Hiro’s hero and bring them home
There’s no set order you have to find the cats in
The only thing of note is the second Hamakita Park cat
and they won’t be available until you report the first quest and trigger “Please Find My Cat 2.”
The Bar District cat is south of Survive Bar
where you establish your base in Chapter Four
and you’ll run into a big stone sculpture
To the right of that sculpture is a doorway
There’s a cat outside Ichiban’s apartment
just catting about on top of a washing machine
Go to Kan-Ban’s parking garage on Misaki Street
the place where you first completed the can-collecting minigame
There’s a blue car near the railings
and you’ll find the cat lurking behind it
Go to West Jinnai Station on the Jinnai Service Road
There’s a parking lot near the station
Head to the batting center in the North Jinnai Station district
and you’ll find a cat between two buildings
This cat is lounging around outside the retirement center near Bayside Street and Daikokuten Street
directly across from the Ounabara Vocational School
The cat is on top of a green electrical box near an outside corner of the retirement center
and at the end is another alley branching off to the right
You’ll find a cat in that branching alley
which is a dangerous place to be if you’re a low-level Ichi
Whether you hold off ‘til later or brave through it
go down the alley southeast of the word “Chinatown” on your in-game map
watching the world go by (or watching you get stomped if you’re unlucky)
Near the Flowers 2 Go stall in Hamakita Park is a drinking fountain
You’ll first need to report the initial “Please Find My Cat” to Hiro
Robson is perched on a light lining the winding path there
and you’ll receive an additional one million yen for your kindness
That’s it for our Yakuza 7: Like A Dragon cat locations guide for the Part-Time Hero quest. Be sure to check out our other Yakuza: Like A Dragon guides
