As such, Taki's arrest quickly spurred Sega into withdrawing all copies of Judgment from sale, and other companies followed suit. Square Enix said it would patch Taki's lines out of Kingdom Hearts 3 (he voices Frozen's Olaf) and Disney even pulled its Frozen Blu-ray from shelves Sega released a statement explaining that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the character model and Japanese voice for Kyohei Hamura would be "adjusted" prior to the game's Western release And now, courtesy of a new video and images posted to Judgment developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's Twitter page we've had our first proper look at those alterations Throughout Yagami's investigation, he'll have to collaborate with, and occasionally face off against, some of the most powerful individuals in Kamurocho.Meet Kyohei Hamura, the intimidating captain of the Matsugane Family.https://t.co/wAlKs3Jrm8 pic.twitter.com/AVLyFbqwgt quite as dramatic as you might have been expecting Although the original character model (based on Taki's real-life appearance) has most certainly been "altered" enough of its essence remains that Hamura is still immediately recognisable It'll be interesting to see how closely Hamura's new Japanese voice work (which isn't featured in the trailer) adheres to Taki's original performance Despite all the fuss surrounding Taki's arrest and the extensive changes forced upon Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio in the immediate aftermath still meet its originally planned Western release date on PS4 this June 25th The western version of PlayStation 4 game Judgment will be changed before release after the Japanese actor behind one of its characters was arrested for cocaine use which is a spin-off of the popular Yakuza series will see the character model and Japanese voice for the character of Kyohei Hamura "adjusted" after Japanese musician and actor Pierre Taki was arrested on charges of cocaine use and possession committed to Judgment's 25th June 2019 release date on these shores despite having to change the game last minute Here's the statement from Sega and its Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio: the character model and Japanese voice for the character of Kyohei Hamura will be adjusted for the Western release of Judgment Screenshots and trailers featuring Hamura have been temporarily removed from all of SEGA's official channels Updated versions of these materials will be made available at a later date." expect a new character model and a new Japanese voice actor for Kyohei Hamura when the game comes out in the UK Your browser does not support JavaScript, or it is disabled. Please check the site policy for more information I recently helped a friend move from the middle of the metropolis to Hamura And right outside my bedroom window are bushy green leaves and branches the view from the living room floor-to-ceiling window is a meandering river People whose livelihoods are teleworkable have suddenly found themselves with options I explored the area and along the Tamagawa river came to a statue of the Tamagawa brothers I noticed that the river and the brothers are both named Tamagawa The brothers were responsible for building a 43-kilometer freshwater canal from Hamura to Yotsuya to ease a water shortage in the Edo Period (1603-1867) Upon successful completion of the task in a Speedy Gonzales 14 months their reward was the last name “Tamagawa” given to them by the authorities Five ways to write Tama seem to be used haphazardly: Tama (brothers and canal) some mysteries are not meant to be solved unequivocally people stroll under the blossoms filling their stomachs with stall food and taking in the sound of the flowing river and scent of the sakura (and food The town is also famous for a tulip festival The main store of one of my favorite supermarkets I love its dark chocolate with orange peels and made a trip to get my fix I checked out “Mai-maizu well at Gonokami.” What’s that I had the same question when I saw the sign It was a well dug during the Daido Era (806-810) (betcha didn’t know that) and its approach looks like a "mai-mai," which is baby talk for a snail It’s located on the precincts of Gonokami shrine a Washington-born and Tokyo-based photographer originally appeared in the March 7 issue of Asahi Weekly It is part of the series "Lisa’s In and Around Tokyo," which depicts the capital and its surroundings through the perspective of the author Lisa’s In and Around Tokyo: Akishima-Ensis where a 1961 find puts the focus on Paleo times Lisa’s In and Around Tokyo: 4 divine animals guarding Koto Ward in every direction Fireworks light up Japan’s skies to spread cheer during pandemic Nursing home tragedy was just a matter of time VOX POPULI: Deer rescue spotlights conflicting views on the creature Pandemic causes first drop in average land price in 3 years Information on the latest cherry blossom conditions Please right click to use your browser’s translation function.) artists around the world are drawing and sharing Amabie in hopes of repelling disease or at the very least honing their talents and finding community while social distancing “I drew this Amabie with the intention to remind others to stay calm and never lose hope at times when we feel like giving up,” Ceruzen Lee an artist from the Philippines who recently drew a cotton candy-pink Amabie with blue hair “It was truly inspiring to find out that many other artists still remain optimistic despite the events in our world today.” Scholars believe that Amabie is a local variation of Amabiko a similar Japanese creature that appears from the sea and prophesies good harvests and outbreaks of disease it is sometimes said that the image itself can ward off the epidemic,” says Jack Stoneman a professor of Asian and Near Eastern Languages at Brigham Young University “This is not unusual in Japanese cultural history—images as talismans.” Illustrator Kaori Hamura Long who lives in Fukuoka city on Kyūshū Unable to get tested for COVID-19 due to Japan’s limited testing capacity she decided to stay at home and draw Amabie a glamorous figure with flowing white hair and sparkling eyes Amabie wears a mask; a second rendition shows the yōkai unadorned “I shared this image of Amabie hoping that the virus will die down and people all over the world will unite to fight the disease instead of finger-pointing each other,” Hamura Long writes in an email Japan reported its first positive test for the new coronavirus on February 20 an artist who has written extensively on yōkai the Amabie-drawing trend picked up steam in the first week of March when Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzō Abe called for schools nationwide to close The country now has over 1,100 confirmed cases and has postponed the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo by one year Amabie is just one of many yōkai believed to wander Japan and ward off evil Originally disseminated through woodblock prints this class of supernatural beings—such as Hakutaku and Kotobuki—flourished in the Japanese popular imagination in the second half of the 19th century “These yōkai appeared during the period when Japan’s isolationist policy was forcefully ended by U.S “While the increase in trade brought lots of ideas and inventions to Japan The popularity of these yōkai was in response to the sudden and frequent epidemics that repeatedly struck Japan in the latter half of the 19th century These contemporary Amabie artworks seem to be born of the same impulse—to offer hope and relief in a moment of collective uncertainty You can join the conversation about this and other stories in the Atlas Obscura Community Forums We depend on ad revenue to craft and curate stories about the world’s hidden wonders Consider supporting our work by becoming a member for as little as $5 a month Follow us on Twitter to get the latest on the world's hidden wonders Like us on Facebook to get the latest on the world's hidden wonders The Tokusatsu Network recently sat down to have an interview with Tenma Ranger himself to learn about his time on Gosei Sentai Dairanger and what’s in store for the future The Tokusatsu Network had the honor of interviewing the hilarious Ei Hamura who portrayed Gosei Sentai Dairanger’s Tenma Ranger Hamura answers questions from fans on Facebook and Twitter Gosei Sentai Dairanger aired from February 1993 to February 1994 and is regarded as one of the most loved shows in Super Sentai history Be sure to subscribe and comment on the video to enter the prize draw of one of three signed autographs by Ei Hamura I've been floating around doing various things in the fandom for the past decade writing news articles and occasionally starring in a show as "Only white guy in the background" This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Staff / Contact Us | Review Policy | Privacy Policy | Cookies Policy – Manage Cookie Settings After a brief segue courtesy of Black Zetsu (who informs us that the real story of Kaguya is about to begin) we rejoin the Rabbit Goddess and her sons in Flashback Land Following the events of the previous episode Kaguya has essentially become the ruler of a rather sparsely-populated planet she realizes they serve an important purpose—namely providing the Divine Tree with sustenance—which prevents her from getting rid of them altogether who have been expressly forbidden from approaching the Divine Tree have grown suspicious of the secretive rituals their mother performs to keep it alive After some clumsy sleuthing and a conversation with a young Gamamaru (a.k.a the boys discover what the audience knew all along: their mother is feeding humans to the tree which is gradually draining the planet's natural energy Kaguya's sons hold them in greater affection than their mother Realizing that their mother needs to be stopped Hagoromo and Hamura study Sage Jutsu under Gamamaru to prepare themselves for the battle ahead the ever-perceptive Kaguya soon discovers what her brood is up to and confronts Hamura ending the episode on a low-key cliffhanger Since we're essentially introduced to Hagoromo and Hamura after they've grown up we're never given a chance to see them develop a rapport with their mother it would have been interesting to see the largely emotionless Kaguya raise the children for whom she sacrificed so much we're clearly supposed to believe that she cares for these boys but we're shown very little to support this Maybe crafting a story in which the stoic Rabbit Goddess let her guard down was too lofty a challenge for the show's screenwriters but I'm already getting tired of this arc's propensity for telling instead of showing Another instance of this can be found in Hagoromo's relationship with Haori Kaguya sacrificing this woman to the Divine Tree prominently factored into Hagoromo's decision to turn on his own mother but we were barely given any indication that he harbored romantic feelings for the woman this was handled worse than Kaguya's relationship with Tenji At least those two had a few extended interactions it's odd that these elements aren't focused on at all even when they're supposed to play an integral role in the proceedings There isn't much in the way of action this week which might actually be a good thing in light of the episode's lackluster animation and visuals There are also several attempts at comedy that all crash and burn episode 461 provides some fascinating (albeit poorly structured) insight into the Otsutsuki family The seeds have been planted for an epic battle between mother and sons the There is a clip revealing she intended on using the chakra from the Divine Fruit to help mankind, despite being betrayed, but when she gave birth to twins and discovered they inherited her power she was driven mad and angry. The report points out that the episode will focus primarily on Hagoromo's story and how Kaguya was defeated, given that Kaguya's origins have already been revealed in episode 460. Episode 462 is titled "The Constructed Past" and will continue the story by focusing on how Zetsu manipulated history and altered the tablets created by Hagoromo. From there the series will focus on how Black Zetsu eventually absorbed White Zetsu and how they, as one entity, altered the tablets in order to manipulate Clan Uchiha and eventually free Kaguya and bring her back in her full power as the Ten-Tails monster. Given how faithful the anime series is to the manga, despite the addition of multiple filler arcs, it is speculated that the anime will feature the same backstory and sequence of events, with very few changes in order to allow episode 461 to tell the whole story in the span of a single episode. Continue reading to find out about five Naruto characters who could defeat the Ten-tails and five who would perish trying Disclaimer: This article reflects the author’s opinion Sportskeeda does not claim ownership of any media used in the article unless otherwise specified One of the advantages of being revived using the Edo Tensei technique is the immortality that comes with it Madara was quite literally unkillable before he truly revived himself during the Fourth Great Shinobi War A being with Madara's power and abilities who is also immortal is extremely difficult to fight against Not only did Madara have access to the perfect Susanoo he was also aided by the power of the Rinnegan but there is no doubt that a ninja as skilled as Madara will eventually defeat the Ten-tails Although Hagoromo is the most famous of the two people who defeated Kaguya, without Hamura, this would not have been possible. Hamura was Hagoromo’s twin brother as well as the guardian of the Gedo Statue that resided on the Moon He was an amazing fighter who had the skills necessary to push his brother to the limits Not only that, but he was also the progenitor of the Byakugan, one of the most powerful Dojutsu in all of Naruto Hamura has never stopped growing stronger since defeating his mother with Hagoromo's assistance which means he will most likely be able to stop the beast on his own this time With just one Sharingan, Kakashi was already famous for his fighting prowess and amazing skills After taking Obito’s second Sharingan for himself He was able to access a perfect Susanoo as well as use Kamui much more effectively than before Thanks to these previously mentioned abilities, fighting the Ten-tails would be easier for Kakashi than most other ninjas he could simply avoid all the beat’s attacks while using his Chidori to destroy the monster from inside he could also teleport the beast itself away from there The Uchiha is a clan with the power to tame almost any kind of Bijuu using their powerful Dojutsu While the Sharingan cannot work on a being as powerful as the Juubi there is no doubt that Sasuke's Rinnesharingan can We saw how Madara was able to control the beast using only the Rinnegan which means the Rinnesharingan is also capable of this If the beast somehow breaks from Sasuke’s control the Uchiha still has many techniques to destroy it He could use the Rinnesharingan's ability to encase the creature inside a human-made moon like Hagoromo did in the past he still has the most powerful Susanoo of all to keep him safe The nine Bijuu we met in the series were created by splitting Chakra from Ten-tails the Bijuu should be enough to take the beast down The Sage of Six Paths mode of Naruto concentrates the power of the nine tail beasts into one person granting him the ability to defeat the monster In this form, Naruto has access to the Bijuu Rasen Shuriken, a technique capable of destroying entire mountains in seconds. He also has the capability of accessing Kurama’s power completely which only increases the power of his Jutsus Naruto could use his Truth Seeking Orbs until the beast was weak enough for him to definitely take it down with a Bijuudama The Akatsuki were known around the world as the most powerful and dangerous rouge ninjas Each of them had a particular power that made fighting against them almost impossible for regular Shinobi With his clay creatures and devastating explosions Deidara is without a doubt a menacing enemy they would not even dent the Juubi’s strong skin Not even his most powerful Jutsu would damage the beast enough for it to not regenerate itself as it has taken attacks exponentially more powerful than Deidara's and kept going as if nothing had happened you would expect Toneri to be extremely powerful and skilled he was a bit of a letdown as a villain because of his lack of fighting skills and relatively weak abilities who took the combined efforts of all Team 7 to defeat It appears unlikely that Toneri will ever be able to defeat the imposing Ten-tails on his own Nature Energy is one of the most powerful abilities a Shinobi can have access to This technique allows the user to obtain power beyond their imagination Jugo in Naruto has the ability to absorb Nature Energy without gaining an infinite amount of power as a result of his clan's Kekkei Genkai Jugo becomes a rampaging monster who wants to kill and destroy anyone who dares oppose him his power pales in comparison to the Ten-tails' Just one swipe from the Juubi would be enough to leave Jugo out of commission for a long time The Fourth Great Ninja War was an event filled with death and tragedy many brave warriors died in the hope of stopping Madara and saving their loved ones one of the most prominent geniuses of Konoha Neji had no trouble protecting himself and others from the beast during the beginning of the conflict until he had no other option than to use his body to save Naruto and Hinata Neji may have been a noble and powerful Shinobi but he was unable to fight against such a terrifying creature Wood Release is the best technique to calm tailed beasts down in Naruto’s universe Hashirama was able to tame the Kyuubi during Madara’s assault against Konoha Being one of the few successful experiments of Orochimaru Yamato is able to use this powerful Kinjutsu much more effectively than others as proficient as Yamato is with the technique Yamato would have no chance of beating the Ten-tails alone The Ten-tails will always be one of the most memorable beings in Naruto’s universe This mighty beast was the cause of many deaths Being a creature entirely made of Chakra means that no matter how powerful a ninja is they will never be able to defeat it unless they have access to the most broken skills in the series so he is creating a small army of Juubis inside Boruto’s manga right now Most of the characters who could defeat the beast are now unable to fight against it on their own The next generation will have to come up with a way to destroy these monsters on their own Your perspective matters!Start the conversation
