'Parao' Asem Marei showed respect for 'Wony Go' Jamil Warney.
Changwon LG won 75-66 in the first round of the 2024-25 KCC Professional Basketball Championship match against Seoul SK at Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the 5th.
LG won for the first time in the first round of the championship game after the third round of the second round. At the center was Maray, who, along with Carl Tamayo, constructed a perfect twin tower.
Marei scored 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals on the day, dominating the SK basket with Tamayo, who added 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists.
In particular, Maray recorded five offensive rebounds, blocking SK's proud fastball itself. LG had as many as 14 offensive rebounds with him at the center.
Marey said after the win: "Feeling good win, it was great. We have a lot of games to win in the future, so we need to focus more. "SK is a good team, so I won't relax and do my best in the next game," he said.
The matchup with Warnie was also great. Maray saved Warney well until the first half, but he also allowed a lot of points in the second half. However, it is possible for Maray to prevent Warney, who returned to the "Wony Go" mode, with 21 points.
Maray said, "I already know that Warnie is a good player. He played a very tough defense, but he still scores more than 20 points. "It's great," he said. "We had to stop Warnie from scoring. "Even if he scored to me, he asked me to follow our game plan well, so it worked out well in the end and I was able to win," he said.
Jamsil Student Gymnasium, where as many as 5,236 people gathered, about half of them were "Sebaragi" or LG fans wearing yellow T-shirts. SK is also a popular club representing KBL, but LG also showed formidable performance.
Maray said, "The temperature of the championship game is very high and so is the energy. However, I played basketball for a long time, and I have experience, so I have to play the game as I prepared," he said. "I'm so grateful to our fans. He created a good atmosphere and cheered me on. It's a thank you. I get good energy every time I play away games."

MANILA, Philippines – A proven champion throughout his career, Carl Tamayo wasted no time flexing his championship experience in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) as he carried the Changwon LG Sakers to a 75-66 Game 1 win over Juan Gomez de Liaño and the Seoul SK Knights on Monday, May 5.
Tamayo went off for a game-high 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block as the LG Sakers drew first blood against the top-ranked SK Knights in their best-of-seven finals series.
Gomez de Liaño, meanwhile, did not see action for the SK Knights for the third straight contest dating back to their best-of-five semifinals versus JD Cagulangan and the Suwon KT Sonicboom as they failed to protect home-court advantage at the packed Jamsil Gymnasium.
The 24-year-old Tamayo — who has won championships with the NU Bullpups and the UP Fighting Maroons in the UAAP and the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the Japan B. League — got it going early, scoring 15 points in just the first half to help Changwon build a 42-35 halftime lead after trailing by 5 at the end of the opening frame.
With the 6-foot-8 Gilas Pilipinas standout still on target from the field in the third period, the LG Sakers stretched their lead to as many as 11 points, 60-49, at the 2:05 mark of the quarter.
Early in the fourth, Seoul showed signs of life as it trimmed Changwon’s 11-point advantage to just 3, 62-59, with still 6:40 remaining.
However, back-to-back hits from Changwon’s Egyptian import Assem Marei and local Junseok Yang put the LG Sakers’ lead back to a three-possession game, 66-59, which proved just enough to repel any Seoul fightback in the endgame.
Marei backstopped Tamayo with his own version of a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, to go with 4 assists and 5 steals.
On the other side, American reinforcement Jameel Warney paced Seoul with 21 markers and 13 boards.
Tamayo and the rest of the LG Sakers shoot for a 2-0 series lead when both squads face off anew on Wednesday, May 7, at 6 pm Manila time. – Rappler.com

NC put the brakes on KT's rise and won its first three consecutive games this year.
The NC Dinos, led by head coach Lee Ho-joon, defeated manager Lee Kang-chul's KT Wiz 6-2 in the 2025 professional baseball KBO League away game held at KT Wiz Park in Suwon on the 5th.
As a result, NC, which won its first three consecutive games this season, recorded 13 wins and 18 losses. On March 29, a structure crashed at Changwon NC Park, causing a baseball fan to die, and although he is only carrying out the away schedule due to safety inspections, he seems to be gradually rebounding. KT, which has failed to win three consecutive games, has 18 wins, two draws and 16 losses.
Along with pitcher Logan Allen, NC has set up a starting list of Kwon Hee-dong (designated hitter), Kim Joo-won (st baseman), Park Min-woo (second baseman), Matt Davison (first baseman), Son A-seop (right fielder), Kim Hyung-joon (fosu), Kim Hwi-jip (third baseman), Chun Jin-hwan (left fielder) and Han Seok-hyun (middle fielder).
In response, KT built the lineup with Hwang Jae-gyun (third baseman), Kim Min-hyuk (left fielder), Mel Rojas Jr. (designated hitter), Ahn Hyun-min (right fielder), Jang Sung-woo (catcher), Kwon Dong-jin (striker), Bae Jung-dae (middle fielder), Moon Sang-cheol (first baseman), and Kang Min-sung (second baseman). The starting pitcher is Joey-hyun.
The opportunity came first to KT. In the bottom of the second inning, Kim Hui-jip, the opponent's third baseman, and Kwon Dong-jin's walk connected the first and second bases with no outs. However, Bae Jeong-dae and Moon Sang-cheol struck out and turned to 5-4-3 (third baseman, second baseman, and first baseman), respectively, and failed to score a point.
It was up to NC to take the lead. After two outs in the top of the fifth inning, when Kim Hwi-jip opened the door with a left-center hit, Chun Jae-hwan hit an RBI timely triple that cut right-center. In the following two outs and third base, Han Seok-hyun also hit an RBI timely hit to the right.
KT, which was hit hard, steadily sought to counterattack, but failed to show any signs as the batters were tied up by opposing starting pitcher Logan.
KT, which became urgent, chased Kang Baek-ho with a 130-meter long-distance two-run shot over right-center wall (season No. 5), in the bottom of the ninth inning, but that was it. Thus, NC won three consecutive games.
NC starter Logan threw 95 pitches and allowed three hits, two outs, and three strikeouts in seven innings to earn his first win (5 losses) of the season. In the batting lineup, Chun Jae-hwan (2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats) and Han Seok-hyun (2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats) shone. In addition, Kim Joo-won (2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats) and Son Ah-seop (2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats) also strongly supported them.
KT's poor batting lineup, which had only seven hits and two points, was painful. Starting pitcher Joey-hyun (five hits and two runs in five innings) pitched well, but he lost his third game of the season (one win) because he did not receive scoring support.
After the game, manager Lee Ho-joon said, "Today's starter Logan won his first victory of the season with seven scoreless innings. Congratulations, you must have suffered more than anyone else. I hope you show more good performances through this game," he said with a thumbs-up.
He continued, "As the batting lineup has been revitalized recently, we are scoring effectively. I hope the good trend will continue a little longer. It's a shame that we couldn't meet our fans at our home stadium on Children's Day, but thank you to the fans who came all the way to Suwon to support us. We will prepare to show you a good game tomorrow."
"I know everyone is upset, but it's too dark."
Seoul SK lost 66-75 in the first round of the 2024-25 KCC professional basketball championship match against Changwon LG at Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the 5th.
With the loss, SK missed its 70.4% (19/27) chance of winning the championship game.
SK manager Jeon Hee-chul said after the game, "There is a lot of regret left. "We lost more points than we did in defense. It was good to score 10 3-pointers, but the process itself was not good," he said. "In the end, Heo Il-young and Tamayo scored more points in the second quarter. It seems that he has poured cold water on himself," he said.
"There was also a free throw problem. I can't help it. Still, I will prepare well for the second game as it can be improved. Now, we need to supplement the problem of offense rather than defense. We played a game that looked different from the direction we caught," he added.
It was also regrettable that he had a bad start, making six errors in the first quarter alone. Of course, the lead was 19-14, but the shaky start led to a bad result.
Coach Jeon Hee-chul said, "I made six mistakes from the start. Nevertheless, he finished the first quarter well, but I think it's a problem in the end. The result of defeat is the manager's fault. I believe it will be better if the things we prepared come out well on the court," he said.
It also signaled a change in defense against Cal Tamayo. Coach Jeon Hee-chul said, "I allowed a lot of three-point shots (four) to Tamayo. I think I tried it the most. The probability was also high. You have to prepare well in the second game. I think we should use (An) Young-joon more," he said.
The biggest problem is swift attack. SK didn't record a single one until Oh Jae-hyun succeeded in the fastball midway through the third quarter. There has been no quick attack since Oh Jae-hyun.
Coach Jeon Hee-chul said, "We couldn't play basketball. He also allowed a lot of offensive rebounds. All the bad looks came out. He's running behind the rebound. He said, "I don't think LG prepared well." After all, it's a matter of rebounding. In order to catch LG as in the regular league, we need to increase steals and fastballs and reduce errors. Only then can we win."
"There are a lot of games to be played in the future. You have to be prepared firmly."
LG's first championship game win in history in the first round. It also secured a 70.4% (19/27) chance of winning the championship.
Carl Tamayo was the top contributor to the victory. He broke down SK's defense with 24 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and one block shot.
Tamayo said after the victory, "I feel very good to win the first game. However, we have a lot of games to play in the future, so we have to prepare firmly," he said.
"I was able to play a good game and win again because I executed well as coach (Cho Sang-hyun) prepared." We need to prepare well for the next game as well. You just have to listen to the director and practice it," he added.
Tamayo is a player in position 4, but the matchup itself is very difficult because he can go back and forth inside and outside. Among the nine KBL clubs, the team that blocked Tamayo the best is SK. However, in the first round of the championship match, it was completely unstoppable.
Tamayo said, "SK took the defensive change, but I tried to do well as the coach said. When he matched up with Ahn Young-joon, "Induction (Jeong In-deok)" had a good chance, so he was able to make good use of that part. I was also very grateful for such a good play," he said.
As a result, LG had a 70.4% (19/27) chance of winning the championship game. And he won the first round of the first championship game. LG lost the first game in both the 2000-01 and 2013-14 seasons.
Asem Maray and Carl Tamayo dominated Jamsil for LG. He led his first valuable victory against Jamil Warney of the world.
The presence of domestic players was also great, including Yang Joon-seok, Yoo Ki-sang, Jeong In-deok, and veteran Huh Il-young's surprise performances.
SK won the game with "Wony Go" but failed. Warnie, Ahn Young-joon, and Oh Jae-hyun cheered up, but eventually gave up the first game on the home turf.
LG got off to a good start in the first quarter. Maray's first free throws were all successful, followed by Tamayo's 3-pointer. It's a pity that Choi Boo-kyung lost five points in a row. LG, which gave SK the flow, has not regained its lead since then. Yang Joon-seok's back-to-back five points and Tamayo and Heo Il-young's points fought back, but failed to score additional points during bench time, ending the 14-19 first quarter.
The second quarter was different. It took the pursuit flow around Tamayo and Heo Il-young. Ahn Young-joon, Warney and Kim Sun-hyung lost points in succession, but it was rather LG's flow. Heo Il-young and Tamayo combined for three three points, 29-26, and led. Kim Sun-hyung allowed a three-point shot to tie the score at 29-29, but LG maintained a good trend.
Maray dominated under the basket. He scored not only Warney but also SK's cooperative defense. The organic jumper and Tamayo's final jumper cut the rim to finish 42-35 in the first half.
LG's second half start was also good. Tamayo got a three-point foul and even made a rim attack. Yang Joon-seok's fastball and Yoo Ki-sang's under-the-goal score also continued. The problem was 'Wony Go'. He saved well throughout the first half, but allowed Warney to score a lot from the third quarter. He failed to control SK's fastball and allowed a 50-46 chase.
After the operation time, LG changed the atmosphere again. Yoo Ki-sang and Tamayo's three consecutive points exploded, followed by Maray and Lee Kyung-do's under-the-goal scores. Heo Il-young's surprise under-the-goal score was also powerful. SK was revived by Oh Jae-hyun, but LG led 62-53 in the third quarter.
LG's start in the fourth quarter was the worst. He self-destructed by committing a large number of mistakes as well as difficulty in fielding. He failed to stop Ahn Young-joon and Warney, and was chased to 62-59 and 3 points. However, after Maray's dunk, he added Yang Joon-seok's jumper to run to 66-59, 7 points.
At the end of the fourth quarter, Jeong In-deok shone. He helped Maray score under the basket with a great three-point score, leading LG to a 73-66, lead. It was an important moment to stop SK's pursuit. LG broke SK's pursuit flow with a solid shield. After that, Jeong In-deok's decisive jumper cut through the rim and added the weight of the game. In the end, LG beat SK to confirm the victory in the first round of the first championship game.
"I won't forget the first time I took the mound for the first time, and I will continue to cherish every moment and throw it."
Son Joo-hwan (NC Dinos) promised not to lose his initial commitment.
Growth has accelerated further this year. He proudly entered the opening entry and has now established himself as an indispensable resource in the NC bullpen. Including the game against the Lotte Giants in Busan on the 4th, he has played in 15 games (16.2 innings) with 3 wins, 1 loss, 2 holds, and an ERA of 3.78.
Son, who took the mound in 14 games (14 innings) in April, marked 2-1 with a 4.50 ERA with two holds. In particular, he recorded 11 consecutive scoreless games from the match against the Gwangju KIA Tigers on March 23 to the match against the LG Twins in Jamsil on April 23.
Son said through the club, "It was the most memorable month since I started playing baseball. I would like to thank the coach (Lee Ho-joon) for the opportunity, the team seniors and juniors, and colleagues for helping me adapt quickly. "It was like a dream just to be included in the opening entry, but I'm really happy to win the MVP award," he said.
"I think the effort to focus on one game and one moment led to good results. I think I just took my first step into a pro. I won't forget the first time I took the mound for the first time, and I will continue to cherish every moment in the future. We will repay the fans who support and encourage them despite their lack of performance with better performance for the rest of the season, he added.
Meanwhile, Son Ah-seop was selected as MVP in the fielders category. Son Ah-seop played in 27 games in April and led the NC lineup with a batting average of 0.376 (35 hits in 93 at-bats) and 17 RBIs.
Son Ah-seop said, "It was April, which was not easy for both the club, the team, and the fans. Personally, I'm fortunate to be able to raise the pace quickly at the beginning of the season, but above all, I'm sorry that I couldn't be with my home fans. "In difficult times, I feel a responsibility to take the center stage as the team's oldest member and lead the juniors well," he said.
He said, "All the players are preparing for each game to the best of their ability in the given environment. I hope I can breathe with my fans at my home stadium as soon as possible, and I will maintain my good condition until then and return to my better self. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support even during the long expedition," he said.
The NC Dinos won back-to-back games after a close game.
NC, led by head coach Lee Ho-joon, defeated manager Kim Tae-hyung's Lotte Giants 9-6 in the 2025 professional baseball KBO League away game held at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan on the 4th.
As a result, NC, which won two consecutive games and won three consecutive winning series at the same time, recorded 12 wins and 18 losses. Lotte, which has lost two consecutive games, has 20 wins, one draw and 15 losses.
NC built the lineup with Kwon Hee-dong (left fielder), Kim Joo-won (striker), Son Ah-seop (designated hitter), Matt Davidson (first baseman), Kim Hyung-joon (fosu), Kim Hwi-jip (third baseman), Shin Jin-hwan (middle fielder), Park Si-won (right fielder), and Kim Han-byul (second baseman). The starting pitcher is Kim Nok-won, who made his first-team debut on the day.
In response, Lotte set up a starting list of pitchers along with pitcher Charlie Barnes, Hwang Sung-bin (center fielder), Ko Seung-min (second baseman), Victor Reyes (left fielder), Na Seung-yeop (first baseman), Yoon Dong-hee (right fielder), Jeon Joon-woo (designated hitter), Yoo Kang-nam (catcher), Son Ho-young (third baseman), and Lee Ho-joon (striker).
It was up to NC to take the lead. When Kim Han-byeol drew a walk after one out in the top of the third inning, Kwon Hee-dong drew a two-run arch to the left with a distance of 120m. Kwon Hee-dong's second shot of the season. Kim Joo-won then hit a solo shot (third of the season) over the left-center fence and hit consecutive batter home runs.
Lotte had a busy way to go, but failed to take advantage of the opportunity that came at the end of the third inning. Lee Ho-joon's left-center hit and Hwang Sung-bin's walk connected the first and second bases with one out, but Ko Seung-min and Reyes each grounded out to second base and left field fly.
NC, which gained momentum, ran away one more shot in the top of the fourth inning. Leading hitter Chun Jae-hwan opened the game with a left-handed double. Park Si-won then turned to a bunt fly, but Chun Jae-hwan's steal of the third base completed the third base with one out. Here, Kim Han-byul hit an RBI timely hit that fell in the middle of the left.
However, Lotte was also tough. He turned the tables at once by decorating the bottom of the fourth inning with a big inning. With Na Seung-yeop's heavy hit, Yoon Dong-hee's walk, and Jeon Joon-woo's heavy hit, Yoo Kang-nam and Son Ho-young drew a series of walks.
Lotte's concentration continued. With the bases loaded with no outs, Lee Ho-joon fired a sacrifice fly to left field. With the bases loaded with two outs, Hwang Sung-bin's hit to the middle and Ko Seung-min's fly to the third baseman, Reyes hit a three-run timely double that separated the left-center field.
NC didn't give up either. In the top of the sixth inning, Park Min-woo's groundout hit to the first base hit by Chun Jae-hwan's right-center hit, second base stolen base, and Park Si-won's walk-through.
NC finally turned the game around in the top of the seventh inning, looking at the opportunity to search for a chance. With Son Ah-seop's hit to the right and Davison's walk, Kim Hyung-joon scored a three-run (season No. 8) with a distance of 130 meters over the left-center fence.
NC, which brought the flow, ran away one more shot in the top of the eighth inning. After one out, when Kwon Hee-dong hit a double to the left, Kim Joo-won hit an RBI timely hit to the right.
In a hurry, Lotte tried hard to score a comeback for the rest of the inning, but no further scoring was heard. Thus, NC faced two consecutive wins.
Lotte felt sorry for the afterthought. Reyes (1 hit and 3 RBIs in 5 at-bats) and Jeon Jun-woo (3 hits in 4 at-bats) worked hard, but the team's defeat faded.
Carl Tamayo looks to add another overseas title to his collection as the Changwon LG Sakers battle the Seoul SK Knights in the 2025 KBL Finals.
The 2025 KBL Finals stage is set as the Changwon LG Sakers take on the top-seeded Seoul SK Knights, with history on the line for both club and player.
At the heart of Changwon’s title push is Filipino import Carl Tamayo, who has emerged as a vital piece of the Sakers' core.
After playing a limited role in his championship run with Japan’s Ryukyu Golden Kings in the B.LEAGUE in 2023, Tamayo has flourished in a starring role for Changwon.
The former UP Fighting Maroon averaged 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game during the regular season, showcasing his versatility and offensive growth.
Tamayo continued that form in the Playoffs, putting up 15.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in a dominant 3-0 semifinal sweep over Ulsan, helping power the LG Sakers into just their third KBL Finals appearance in franchise history—and their first since the 2013–14 season.

But standing in their way are the Seoul SK Knights

the road to history demands their greatest performance yet

Carl Tamayo and the LG Sakers are the first team to advance to the KBL Finals while also securing a maiden trip to next season's East Asia Super League (EASL).
Tamayo poured 16 points while Assem Marei scored the game-winning basket with 3.5 seconds left, leading the LG Skers’s nail-biting 76-74 escape over the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus in Game 3 of their semifinal duel.
Marei made up for a Tamayo missed jumper after converting the clutch basket off a Yang Jun Seok's offensive board.
Changwon’s three-game sweep of Ulsan also earned the team a first-ever trip for next season’s East Asia Super League.
Marei ended with a monster 16-point, 17-rebound while Yang produced 17 markers and 7 dimes for the LG Sakers’ first Final appearance since the 2013-14 season.
Changwon awaits the winner of the Seoul-Suwon KT duel with the Knights carding a 2-1 series advantage against JD Cagulangan and the rest of the Sonicboom.

Jeon Sung-hyun, the "fire shooter," did not come up from Changwon.
Changwon LG will play the first game of the 2024-25 KCC professional basketball championship match against Seoul SK at Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the 5th.
LG is looking at the top again for the first time in 11 years since the 2013-14 season. But there are no reinforcements. As Doo Kyung-min left, Jeon Sung-hyun is also in a difficult situation to play in the championship game.
Jeon Sung-hyun is the best shooter in KBL. Hana, he did not find his normal condition after moving to LG and is currently out of power due to knee bone bruises. After failing to play in the semifinal playoff against Ulsan Hyundai Mobis, he prepared to return through rehabilitation and training, but it seems difficult to play in the championship game.
The LG squad is currently in Icheon. Yang Joon-seok and Yoo Ki-sang, who attended the championship media day, immediately went to Icheon and the entire team arrived on the 2nd with coach Cho Sang-hyun. They prepare for the first and second rounds of the championship game here.
Jeon is in Changwon with coach Kang Byung-hyun. The fact that he did not come to Icheon means that he will not play in the first and second championship games. I'm building up with the remaining players in Changwon.
Coach Cho Sang-hyun said in a telephone interview with MK Sports, "In the case of (former) Sung-hyun, even if he plays all the given exercises, he has to prepare for the new patterns first. However, I received a report that my physical condition did not fully rise in the conditioning part. It was hard to wait any longer. First of all, I left it to coach Kang Byung-hyun to prepare in Changwon," he said.
It is also unclear whether he will play in the third and fourth championship games in Changwon. In reality, it is not easy. Even if they do not play in the first and second games, it is common to accompany the team and prepare. The fact that Jeon Sung-hyun remains in Changwon means that it is difficult to play in the championship game.
Of course, there is a possibility that Jeon Sung-hyun will return as soon as the championship game is prolonged. It's a situation that's hard to guarantee 100%. Until then, you have to raise it to your best condition.
It's a shame in many ways. LG chose experienced Doo Kyung-min and Jeon Sung-hyun instead of Lee Jae-do and Lee Kwan-hee, who showed limitations to win big games such as the playoff as well as the championship game. However, as a result, he has to play in the championship game without two players.
In particular, Jeon Sung-hyun has been very strong against SK throughout his career. In the 2021-22 season, when SK won its last championship, it recorded 4.4 three-pointers per game with a 50% success rate, and had the experience of bullying the champion until the end.
Meanwhile, LG is trying to win its first championship game. They looked to the top in both the 2000–01 and 2013–14 seasons, but were all runners-up.
NC Dinos' away life is expected to be longer. The reopening of Changwon NC Park has been postponed indefinitely.
NC said on the same day, "At a meeting to check the implementation of safety measures attended by officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 2nd, we could not reach a conclusion on the specific reopening schedule of Changwon NC Park."
The meeting was part of measures to follow the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's safety inspection points, and the reopening schedule was postponed indefinitely due to the judgment that fundamental safety measures were needed for Changwon NC Park facilities.
Accordingly, NC decided to cooperate with Changwon NC Park's safety inspection process as much as possible and consider preparing a temporary alternative home stadium for the 2025 season in consultation with KBO to prevent the KBO League from being disrupted.
This is the aftermath of the unfortunate accident that occurred in late March. On March 29, an aluminum louver, one of the structures, crashed at Changwon NC Park, injuring three spectators and killing one of them.
NC immediately conducted a full inspection, and Changwon City also conducted a safety inspection of the stadium under the direction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In addition, NC has set up a joint task force with Changwon City and Changwon Facilities Management Corporation to frequently discuss pending issues such as emergency safety inspections. It was decided to run a psychological support consultation center, and Lover was also removed.
Since then, NC, which played three consecutive games against the KIA Tigers from April 29-1 in Gwangju, will also have a Children's Day series against KT Wiz in Suwon. Later, the schedule in Changwon is expected to be decided after consultation between the two teams.
And as the reopening was postponed indefinitely during the safety inspection review process, NC visited a temporary alternative home stadium. In reality, Masan Baseball Stadium, Pohang Baseball Stadium, and Ulsan Munsu Baseball Stadium are leading candidates.
NC said, "We believe that fundamental measures are urgent for the safety of citizens, the operation of the team, and the smooth progress of the KBO League," adding, "We plan to quickly decide with the KBO on the decision and operation of temporary alternative home stadiums."
"We will actively cooperate in preparing fundamental repair and safety measures for Changwon NC Park to ensure the safety of citizens," he said. "We will carry out all procedures considering the stability of the league and the safety of the team."
The Changwon Initiative has been an important success factor for some of the most significant results achieved by UNCCD over the past decade. Its collaborative and evidence-based approach empowers countries to safeguard the soil our lives depend on. The financial stability and strengthened political backing provided by the initiative – named after the COP10 venue Changwon and coordinated by the Korea Forest Service – enables UNCCD to act as the global voice for land.

By Utathya NagIndian shooters are set to give the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Changwon
the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) said on Monday
The ISSF World Cup in Changwon, to be held from April 16 to 27, was earmarked as part of the programme to help the Indian shooting contingent hone it's skills for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics
With South Korea and Japan sharing a similar time zone
the event was being considered important to facilitate acclimatisation
with host country South Korea mandating a 14-day COVID-19 quarantine for everyone flying in
the NRAI – India’s shooting regulatory body – deemed that the lengthy isolation may be counterproductive for the participants
To keep the shooters engaged, the NRAI will now hold the nationals during the time of the Korean World Cup.
The 64th shooting nationals will thus be held from April 10 to 29. The shotgun events have been scheduled from April 10 to 24 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. The pistol events have been slated from April 11 to 29 at the same venue.
Rifle events, meanwhile, will take place in Bhopal from April 14 to 29.
The competition is being held at two venues to limit the number of shooters in each, as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
With the Changwon ISSF World Cup off the radar, the nationals will also see increased participation from top Indian shooters, including the 15 Olympic quota winners.

LG failed to boost its sense of play throughout the first quarter

Maray continued to score consecutive points under the basket and Ham Ji-hoon's foul trouble

Maray's brilliant dunk exploded and later added Tamayo's free throw score to widen the gap to 66-61

he was beaten by Paris Bath and had a bitter taste of elimination
You should also erase your doubts about yourself
Maray's value in the regular league is very high
but he is labeled a "foreign player who cannot lead to victory" in the playoffs
It's natural because it couldn't be proved as a result

Changwon has so many fans that it was called a "Basketball Special City" in the past and now a "Basketball Special City." Even though the first game was held on weekdays
it is no coincidence that 4501 out of 4,950 seats were filled out of the 4,950 seats in the Changwon Indoor Gymnasium
LG fans wearing yellow T-shirts made to commemorate the playoffs created an overwhelming atmosphere
Hyundai Mobis fans couldn't come to Changwon
Changwon Indoor Gymnasium was full of yellow waves
Despite the fact that LG players' first score came out in 3 minutes and 19 seconds during a long hiatus
And when Jeong In-deok and Yoo Ki-sang's three-point store cut the rim
4501 is the record for the most spectators in this season's playoffs
It exceeded 4,010 people who gathered at Jamsil Student Gymnasium
where the first round of the semifinal playoff between SK and Suwon kt was held last time
"Many fans will visit us to the extent that they are worried about parking."
LG has recorded two full attendances in the regular league this season
he is looking at the first full crowd in the playoffs
That's how much LG fans are thirsty for a playoff victory
he went straight to the semifinal playoffs for the past two years
LG has not made the championship in more than 10 years since the 2013-14 season
the second round of the semifinal playoff is important
LG lost the second game after winning the first game in the semifinal playoff against kt in the 2023-24 season
eventually allowing an upset with 2 wins and 3 losses
including head coach Cho Sang-hyun and Asem Maray
are not satisfied with the victory in the first game and are looking to win the second game
He has a strong will not come back after winning two games in Changwon
the team that won both the first and second round of the semifinal playoff advanced to the championship game with a 100% (29/29) probability
but LG is focusing on taking 100% probability
You have to stay calm to go to the championship game
Changwon LG and Ulsan Hyundai Mobis will play the second round of the 2024-25 KCC professional basketball semifinal playoff at Changwon Indoor Gymnasium on the 26th
accounting for 77.8% (42/54) of their chances of advancing to the championship game
but it is not bad if it wins one game in Changwon
if they win the second game after losing the first game
they can secure a 47.8% (11/27) chance of advancing to the championship game
They have to balance 1 win and 1 loss before going to Ulsan
The semifinal series between LG and Hyundai Mobis is represented by "Brother Derby" by Cho Sang-hyun and Cho Dong-hyun
who will lead Korean basketball in the future
But the key to victory is the war under the basket after all
2 assists) was able to win the war under the basket even though he did not perform well
Long and Prim were the two heroes who showed their strength in the semi-final playoff against Anyang Jeong Kwan-jang and led them to the semifinal playoff
Coach Cho Dong-hyun also mentioned that both Long and Prim are confident against Marayi and expected it
collapsed due to Tamayo and Park Jung-hyun's tough defense
Maray used so much power that he developed muscle spasms in both legs from the start of the first game
I had muscle spasms all over my body and needed a 20-minute break
Hyundai Mobis and Long must finish the series before they succeed in reorganizing
Long-term warfare should be avoided in many areas
Hyundai Mobis desperately needs Long's revival
and his fate is at stake whether he will play or not
It is the response to the judgment and the response
Long and Prim all had complaints and complaints about the decision throughout the first leg
It was easy to see in the regular league as well
it was Maray and Tamayo who regained their composure in the first game and focused on the game
Long lost his composure due to the tough defense that even Park Jung-hyun attached and eventually became "Long side" that continued throughout the regular season
Prim remained relatively calm compared to Long and took the record
It is only one game over in the semifinal series
It's hard to be confident that Maray and Tamayo will be calmer than Long and Prim in the future
The struggle under the rim is so intense and hot that it is described as a war under the basket
If you lose your composure and composure even for a moment here
Maray has experienced it once in the semifinal playoff in the 2023-24 season
Tamayo in his first experience is a question mark
Long and Prim are time bombs that can explode at any time
This part is also a common concern between Cho Sang-hyun and Cho Dong-hyun
"Now I can't talk anymore because my neck hurts." Coach Cho Dong-hyun expressed
Everyone is bound to be dissatisfied with the referee's decision
You may lose your composure due to a rough physical fight
There may be enough cases of failure to control emotions
the semifinal series between LG and Hyundai Mobis is expected to be divided into winners and losers depending on who better maintains the keywords of calmness and rating
