a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea (Iksan-eul
is the head of the general situation office in the presidential primary camp of former Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung
He served as senior presidential secretary for political affairs in the Moon Jae In government
returned to Yeouido in 2020 as a second-term lawmaker for the first time in 12 years
and won a third term in the 22nd general election last year
Representative Han will begin to work with former representative Lee as the chairman of the Democratic Party's strategic planning committee in 2023 and establish himself as a "new name (Lee Jae-myung)." The first relationship between the two was even before Lee became Seongnam mayor
Han played a major role in winning 175 seats in the 22nd general election while overseeing the party's strategy
When former representative Lee recently announced his nomination for the primary camp
"He is very good at planning the party's strategy," and added
"He will lead the camp's capabilities well with a flexible and quick response." Some in the party say that as a lawmaker continues to take heavy responsibility in the party and camp
he has emerged as a major candidate for the Democratic Party's floor leader since the presidential election
One lawmaker is evaluated as a strategic expert
he is also called an "organization genius." It is also well received among ruling and opposition party lawmakers because of its friendly treatment to everyone
he was selected as an excellent member of the ruling and opposition parties' cooperation in the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea
This ability was also demonstrated when he was senior presidential secretary for political affairs
relations between the ruling and opposition parties were strained
the floor leader of the Liberty Korea Party
told him not to come to the National Assembly
Han met him hard and worked hard to improve relations with the opposition party
He is also the main character who created the first "Yeonga-jeong Standing Council for State Affairs" in constitutional history under the direction of the then-President of Moon Jae In
President Moon and the floor leaders of the five ruling and opposition parties gathered together in November 2018 to discuss cooperation and announce an agreement
His nickname "Popeye" was given by local people because he is small in size but has strong drive and touch
Another nickname is 'Bottle Do' because you can't even drink a bottle
Han has been actively engaged in political activities for the past eight years
but he has also been a wild man for a long time
he ran for Iksan Gap as a candidate of the Uri Party in the 17th general election
then incumbent candidate of the Millennium Democratic Party
and wearing his first badge at the age of 37
he led the post-脫 faction innovation group "Like the First Time," which was then members of the Democratic Party of Korea Yun Ho-jung and Cho Jung-sik
former senior secretary for political affairs
he was not nominated in the 18th and 19th general elections
he was active in legislative activities and was interested in balanced regional development
He is the one who created the "Hometown Love Donation Act," which provides tax credits when an individual makes a donation to a local government in his or her hometown or a specific area
Since the introduction of this system in 2023
local governments have been able to expand their finances
and the provision of return items to donors is a local product
which is also having the effect of promoting related consumption
Han served as president of Wonkwang University's student council
I hated the smell of tear gas exploding in the school
after reading handwritten posters everywhere and watching videos related to the Gwangju Democratization Movement that were played in college
After reading the book and going to the protest in person

Lee Chun-seok, the president-elect of the Iksan-gap Democratic Party of Korea, threw a ballpoint pen at a discussion on the Iksan campus of Chonbuk National University.
However, Lee said on the 25th that it was a protest as a representative of Iksan citizens against universities that unilaterally decided to reduce the number of university campuses located in Iksan.
According to Chonbuk National University and Iksan City, Lee met with Jeonbuk National University President Yang Oh-bong and Lee Dong-heon, along with Iksan Mayor Chung Heon-yul, lawmaker Han Byung-do (Iksan-eul), and Jeonbuk Provincial Council member Han Jeong-soo on the 23rd.
Lee Dong-hun, the head of the school affairs department, said, "There are no students coming to the Iksan campus due to the school-age population problem. It is difficult to operate as it is," he said, explaining the position of Chonbuk National University, which announced its plan to reduce the number of Iksan campuses.
In response, Lee responded, "It makes sense for professors to do so after working harder, restructuring, and making enough effort, but I cannot agree to do so now."
Then, the head of the school affairs office Lee said, "Now, that word is blasphemy of the professor."
Since then, Lee reportedly said, "I can't be here anymore," threw a ballpoint pen in his hand on the desk, and kicked out the door.
Lee said in a phone call with Maekyung. "I shouldn't do that if I were in my personal capacity, but as a representative of Iksan citizens, I made it a minimal indication of what our citizens think from the perspective of Iksan citizens."
He said, "It would have been desirable for me to discipline myself as to whether it was right to behave like that as a fourth-term lawmaker," adding, "As a member of the local parliament and as a representative, I was not allowed to sit still in that position, nor was I convinced by Iksan citizens."
"I didn't throw the ballpoint pen at the other person or anything," he said. "I woke up and hit the ballpoint pen I was holding on my desk and walked out, and I kicked it out because the door was closed."
After Lee left the conference room, Mayor Chung and lawmaker Han also pointed out the lack of communication on the university's part in the process of merging the department, and President Yang reportedly abolished the plan to reduce the number of students, saying, "I'm sorry I couldn't communicate with the local community."
Meanwhile, Lee served three terms (18th, 19th, and 20th) in Iksan-gap, Jeollabuk-do, and served as the 34th secretary-general of the National Assembly Secretariat. He was elected in the 22nd National Assembly election and won a fourth term.

The company is partnering with Marel Poultry for the project, in which the four new lines will be spread over five floors, according to a press release from Marel, which has already installed systems in Harim Group’s plants in Korea and Allen Harim facilities in the United States
“We have great confidence in Marel Poultry and their people,” Harim Chairman Hong-Kuk Kim stated
“We highly appreciate the cooperation and it’s always a pleasure working with them.”
The complete reconstruction of the Iksan factory involves an extension to six
When the four new high-speed lines are installed
the Iksan facility will be one of the largest poultry processing facilities in Asia
A unique feature of the plant will be the visitor's center
including a 1,640-foot long windowed corridor which offers a complete view of the production process in the factory
"We like to show how our operations succeed in producing good quality and healthy chicken meat with a strong focus on hygiene
food safety and good working conditions.," said Kim

will be at the heart of the evisceration department
All four lines will include low maintenance
self-calibrating high speed SmartWeighers and advanced equipment monitoring

July 18 (Yonhap) -- A royal tomb in the southwestern provincial city of Iksan is highly likely to be that of King Mu
who ruled the ancient Baekje Kingdom in early 7th century
researchers said Wednesday after uncovering the tomb after a century
The tomb had long been known to be that of the 30th king of the Baekje Kingdom
one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea along with Koguryo and Silla
Baekje used to rule the midwestern region of Korea from 18 B.C
But a controversy erupted in 2016 over the owner of the tomb when Jeonju National Museum announced that its analysis of a tooth from the tomb found that the tooth belonged to a woman aged 20-40
Also among the remains from the tomb was Silla earthenware
This photo provided by the Buyeo National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage shows a box of a human bones from a royal tomb in Iksan
The debate prompted the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) to dig into the tomb in August 2017 in cooperation with the Iksan city government and a local university research institute for the first time since an excavation by the colonial Japan in 1917 to determine whose tomb it is
teams from the organizations announced in April that they found a box of human bones inside a burial chamber
"We analyzed the human bone from the royal tomb in various methods and found that they belong to a man around the age bracket of 60 years," the Buyeo National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage that conducted the analysis on behalf of the CHA
"He is believed to be 161-170.1 centimeters tall and the year of death is estimated at 620 to 659."

The institute said the Japanese colonial government appears to have removed not a single piece of the bone from the tomb after excavating it
"There were 102 pieces of human bone in the box and chances are high that they are from one body because none of them overlap."
There is no historical record showing when King Mu was born
But the institute said chances are high the tomb belongs to the king seen from the facts that he was in throne for 41 years from 600 and he is the only Baekje king who possibly died in the 620-659 period
The experts said they will conduct more research in the future to determine exactly who was buried in the tomb

Housing prices in the biocluster area across the country are exceeding the regional average. As high-income earners in the high-tech bio industry are in demand for direct employment, a new real estate term called "Vasegwon" has also been created.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's actual transaction price disclosure system on the 1st, apartments in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, were changed to an average of 39.48 million won per pyeong (3.3㎡) in the first quarter of this year. This area is adjacent to Daedeok R&D Special Zone. During the same period, the average actual transaction price of an apartment in Yuseong-gu was 15.79 million won.
Specifically, 171㎡ of the exclusive area of Doryong-dong Smart City Complex 2 was signed for sale at 2.5 billion won in early January. This means that it rose 250 million won in about four months after spending the reported price (2.25 billion won) in August last year. House prices have jumped despite the all-round decline in real estate.
An official from the pre-sale industry said, "The bio-industry site is always suffering from a shortage of professionals," adding, "The ransom of workers in related industries is expected to rise in the long term, and this phenomenon is likely to be reflected in the price of houses near the bio-cluster."
The government is also actively promoting the bio industry. In June last year, the government designated biopharmaceuticals and organoid technologies as state-of-the-art strategic technologies. It is also conducting a public offering process against local governments to designate a national high-tech industrial complex.

a language that originates from Valyria and the Valyrian Freehold
and Tyrion could speak it in Game of Thrones
By learning just a few words from the language spoken by Daenerys and her forebears you may not be able to string a sentence together
but you can throw in a word or two in casual conversation in an effort to seek fellow Westerosi fans
Syz issa, isn’t it? If you want to do more than merely pepper your sentences with the occasional Valyrian word or two (which admittedly might get you a few funny looks), download the Duolingo app
It’s a language learning app that offers languages from all over the world and fictional ones too
if you really want to talk like a Targaryen
you can download the app (which is what we did
because we are not as fluent as we like to pretend)
and follow the characters who speak High Valyrian in House of the Dragon when it starts in August
House of the Dragon season 1 starts express from the US on Monday 22 August at 03:00 on M-Net channel 101
You can also watch later that day at 21:30 on M-Net or catch up on the episode with DStv using your connected device

March 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's oldest and largest stone pagoda will be open to the public next month after 18 years under restoration
The Iksan city government said it has recently completed the restoration of the western stone pagoda at the site of the Mireuk Temple in the southwestern provincial city of Iksan and fully removed all the scaffolding from the structure
The pagoda sits on the western tip of the three pagodas in the temple built under the orders from King Mu (600-641)

the stone pagoda was leveled to six floors by the early 20th century
the Japanese colonial authorities in 1915 poured tons of concrete on parts of the tower
was diagnosed to be at a dangerous level in a safety check conducted by the cultural heritage authorities in 1998
The pagoda was then closed to the public in 2001 for a 23 billion-won (US$20.3 million) project to restore it into a six-story tower with a height of 14.5 meters
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Iksan city government will jointly hold a ceremony to mark the completion of the restoration work in late April
