She did what was financially best for her she will accept the PUD position and decline the county council position as PUD position pays significantly more.
Bologne she did what she thought what was best for the community or she never would have tried to take on 2 separate positions

Binda is a fool and a sore loser and dresses like Herb Tarlek
It’s funny that him bring up his personal violations during the session is in itself a violation of the terms of his settlement
and then rolling his eyes like a child when it is pointed out
I don’t understand how he got voted in after his love conquers all fiasco
I am very thankful for Binda’s short term in the Lynnwood city council
With his complete ineptitude he has ensured that the residents of this city will never take another chance on a young
unqualified person to run for this position
If he can’t understand how to write a check
how can he even comprehend what the laws are
This Binda guy continues to embarrass himself
I won’t make specific comments about his credibility but C’mon
Amazing but Lucky for him his clownery is regularly outdone by Hurst
I think Julieta Altamirano-Crosby should respect the Lynnwood Municipal Code and step down as Council member in the best interest of the public both for the City of Lynnwood and Snohomish County
And lets not forget Julieta has had ethics violation also of overspending which I believe is hugely under reported in media and I believe secretly funding a recall of your own fellow council member is something the ethics committee should seriously review

SAN ANTONIO – Irys co-founder and CEO Beto Altamirano announced his campaign for San Antonio mayor in 2025
becoming the first City Hall outsider to enter the race
“I know San Antonio is hungry for a new vision forward,” Altamirano told KSAT in his first on-camera interview as a candidate
Altamirano said San Antonio has given him lots of opportunity and he wants to give back
we gotta take care of the basics: infrastructure
But it’s about taking care of the basics with an eye towards the future
Altamirano also released a short video announcement Friday and is planning a campaign kickoff event Saturday morning at the Friendly Spot Ice House
which developed the 311SA app for the City of San Antonio
It also recently acquired cybersecurity company Diversified Technical Services
One of its biggest clients is the 16th Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) out of Joint Base San Antonio
Altamirano said his company “no longer does city contracts,” and he plans to step down as CEO if elected
he’d still retain an ownership stake and a spot on the board
He also co-founded the nonprofit Better Futures Institute and has experience as a staffer in the Texas House of Representatives and US Senate
Altamirano discussed his thoughts on issues including poverty
and the possibility of a downtown arena for the Spurs
the mayor’s seat will be wide open for the first time since Phil Hardberger left in 2009
Altamirano is the third candidate to throw his hat in the ring. Councilman Manny Pelaez (D8) and Councilman John Courage (D9) are the only other candidates to have publicly announced they are running
Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda (D6) has also told KSAT she plans to run
and Councilwoman Adriana Rocha Garcia (D4) is considering a bid
neither has officially launched a campaign
On Thursday, former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos appeared to soft-launch a campaign with the creation of a new “nonpartisan public policy research collective” focused on the 2025 mayor’s race
Though the election is still 11 months and a presidential race away
political consultant Christian Archer said it makes sense for Altamirano to wade in now
as media coverage will prompt voters to want to learn more
all of the people that are thinking of running,” Archer said
who is this guy?’ And there’s a buzz being created about him now

BY BILL KACZARABA
In response to growing concerns about youth crime and gun violence
and community leaders will host a community conversation at the Trinity Lutheran Church
The event aims to provide a platform for residents to discuss these pressing issues and explore potential solutions
City Council Vice President Altamirano-Crosby
emphasized the importance of addressing public safety concerns
“As a city council vice president, I initiated the Let’s Talk About Safety community conversations out of a deep commitment to addressing the growing concerns about public safety in Lynnwood,” Altamirano-Crosby told Lynnwood Today
“The idea was born from the numerous emails
phone calls and text messages I received from residents worried about safety in our city.”
Crime blotter: Arrest made in ‘horrific’ killing of beloved 80-year-old Seattle dog walker and dog
The urgency of the issue was underscored by a series of shootings in the spring of 2022
which included the tragic death of a bystander in Daleway Park and an incident involving a 14-year-old boy near Highway 99
These events prompted Altamirano-Crosby to take immediate action
“With three shootings occurring in a span of two months
it became clear that we needed to address this issue head-on,” she said
The upcoming forum is designed to encourage community participation and foster a collaborative approach to enhancing safety
“Your participation is vital as we continue to work together to make Lynnwood a safer place for all,” Altamirano-Crosby added

Residents are encouraged to attend the event to voice their concerns and contribute to the development of effective strategies to combat youth crime and gun violence
The discussion will provide an opportunity for community members to engage directly with local leaders and law enforcement officials
ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed
The event is part of a broader effort by the Lynnwood City Council to engage with the community and address public safety issues proactively
The council hopes to build a safer and more resilient community by facilitating open dialogue and collaboration

the best friend of murder and kidnapping victim Julie Ann Rodelas
was cleared of murder charges but was ordered to pay P100,000 in damages for her involvement in the kidnapping
A report by Saleema Refran on 24 Oras on Friday stated that the Quezon City Regional Trial Court found Altamirano guilty of kidnapping but ruled there was reasonable doubt regarding her knowledge of the plan to murder Rodelas
Quiambao reportedly decided to kill Rodelas after she recognized him
He was sentenced to reclusion perpetua (22 to 40 years imprisonment) and ordered to pay up to P500,000 in damages
Rodelas' death dates back to 2012 when her body was discovered after she was kidnapped in front of the World Trade Center
reported that the victim had been kidnapped
Altamirano admitted during her arrest that she was angry with Rodelas for gossiping about her
prompting Quiambao to suggest teaching Rodelas a “lesson.”
Altamirano claimed she was unaware of her boyfriend's intent to rape and kill Rodelas
Alam ko pong kahit anong sorry ko, alam ko
(I didn’t know they would rape and kill her
Rodelas' family expressed disappointment with the verdict
particularly Altamirano's release from detention
“Masakit talaga kaya gusto ko madagdagan 'yung pagkakulong niya
Hindi naman mamamatay ang anak ko kung hindi siya ang naging dahilan
Mag-aapela kami sa korte para makulong pa siya,” said the victim’s mother
My daughter wouldn’t have died if it hadn’t been for her
““Ang inaasahan namin diyan ay 'yung automatic review ng Supreme Court kasi mababasa naman doon sa record ang matitibay at malalakas na ebidensya ng prosekusyon.”
(What we are expecting is an automatic review by the Supreme Court because the record will show that the prosecution had a strong case.) — Jiselle Anne Casucian/DVM
