The fact that Reginald is the size of a small horse and Pearl is as small as an apple didn’t stop them from getting along famously. Pearl, a four-year-old who stands at 3.59in (9.14cm), comes from a long line of short dogs. We’ve called DJI’s baby steadicam “almost everything I wanted my iPhone camera to be” and one of our favorite gadgets of 2023 but it’s just become a harder product to recommend DJI quietly hiked the US price of the camera from $519 to $619 officially listing the camera at $799 in the US That’s a $280 price hike in just two months “The price you saw today is the current price,” DJI spokesperson Daisy Kong tells The Verge We’re seeing that US retailers have already updated their listings DJI’s “Creator Combo” has risen in price even more. The kit, which adds loads of useful accessories including a modular extended battery handle and one of the company’s excellent Mic 2 wireless lav microphones up from the original $669 list price it had maintained before April (It quietly rose to $799 around the beginning of April.) Is this the impact of Trump’s tariffs on China but it says things aren’t as clear-cut as that Tariffs “are certainly among the key considerations,” the company tells The Verge by email “The Osmo Pocket 3 is one of the top-selling products in the history of DJI its popularity has continued to grow and exceed expectations We are constantly working to meet consumer demand in nearly every market We attribute the product’s success largely to word-of-mouth recommendations among both content creators and everyday people who want to film everyday moments,” reads a statement from DJI to The Verge Despite the higher prices, DJI’s cameras are not currently in stock at most US outlets. In fact, many of DJI’s drones are not currently in stock in the US either. Even before Trump’s latest rounds of tariffs, DJI had been having trouble importing its items in the United States, as US customs has allegedly been blocking many of them DJI did not answer whether tariffs might cause the company to stop shipping product to the US entirely In February, I interviewed DJI about the future of its business in the United States where it also faces a potential automatic ban on all its products starting in 2026 it sounded like the company would be fine selling fewer products in the US if it had to market and is closely monitoring recent challenges affecting product availability,” reads a statement from DJI to The Verge this week “We are actively working to address and mitigate any influences and uncertainties and to ensure products are accessible to our customers soon.” I use an Osmo Pocket 3 every single week to film chunks of my Today I’m Toying With videos, and I’m beginning to use it as a very high quality PC webcam thanks to its built-in webcam mode. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has been one of DJI’s most successful products it has become the de facto vlogging camera the world over But due to US President Donald Trump’s economic trade policy the once $519 camera now costs $800 — if you can find one especially for single creators who need a way to capture video of themselves Despite basically everyone already owning a smartphone capable of video capture, the Osmo Pocket 3 is simply a better choice “The Osmo Pocket 3 is a rare home run for a camera company it’s price of $520 makes it accessible to more people it happens to be the most perfect tool for YouTubers like myself who have influence over other people’s buying decisions,” Becca Farsace says in a video about the Osmo Pocket published in January “We’ve all fallen so deeply in love with this camera that we’ve made whole videos about it even a year after it came out two of those factors have changed substantially in the past few months The Osmo Pocket saw its price increase to $620 in early 2025 the value proposition that made it so desirable became less so “It’s fantastic to see that the demand for our Osmo Pocket 3 has far exceeded our expectations Due to local market conditions and industry environment we may experience extended delays in restocking and have had to adjust our pricing strategy,” A DJI spokesperson tells PetaPixel over email “We are closely monitoring the situation and will actively work to restore product availability as soon as possible.” Become a PetaPixel Member and access our content ad-free Please try using other words for your search or explore other sections of the website for relevant information Our team is working diligently to resolve the issue Thank you for your patience and understanding The views and opinions expressed herein are the views and opinions of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of Nasdaq This data feed is not available at this time These symbols will be available throughout the site during your session These instruments will be available throughout the site during your session Smart Portfolio is supported by our partner TipRanks. Medicare expenses are a big concern for many older adults especially those on a fixed or limited income The first step to understanding Medicare's out-of-pocket (OOP) costs is to define what "out of pocket" means "Medicare out-of-pocket costs can change annually, just like your health needs," said Ryan Ramsey NCOA's Associate Director of Health Coverage and Benefits "By understanding Medicare out-of-pocket (OOP) costs you can more effectively plan for your healthcare priorities and prepare for future medical expenses—avoiding the stress of unexpected costs." An out-of-pocket cost is the amount you will pay beyond what Medicare covers. You are responsible for part of your medical bill after Medicare kicks in to pay their share. What you'll pay in out-of-pocket costs in 2025 will vary based on the coverage you have may depend on how much income you make each year Below are some basic Medicare out-of-pocket costs you can expect to pay with various plans Additional OOP expenses depend on your plan’s coverage and other factors The Medicare deductible is the annual amount you pay for covered health care services before your Medicare plan starts to pay Once you've satisfied your deductible you'll typically only pay a copayment or coinsurance—and Medicare pays the rest a hospital stay in 2025 that’s covered under Medicare Part A will cost you $1,676 before Medicare coverage takes effect Some Medicare Advantage plans have no deductible; however these plans will likely cost you more in monthly premiums The Medicare out-of-pocket maximum is the annual cap on your out-of-pocket health care costs. This is known as the maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP) limit you will not be responsible for cost sharing (deductibles and copayments) on covered services for the rest of the year The goal of the MOOP is to protect you from the burden of excessive out-of-control medical costs that may result from a serious or ongoing health issue It's important to know that the Medicare out-of-pocket maximum does not apply to original Medicare (Parts A and B) It only applies to Medicare Advantage plans out-of-pocket maximums for Medicare Advantage and Medigap plans are as follows: all Part D and Medicare Advantage plans will have a $2,000 annual cap on out-of-pocket prescription drug costs (this cap was previously $8,000) your costs for covered prescriptions will be $0 for the rest of the year Premium: $0 for most people; otherwise $285 or $518/mo Deductible: $1,676 for each inpatient hospital benefit period Coinsurance: Varies with location and length of stay Skilled nursing facility daily coinsurance (days 21-100): $209.50 *These are called "lifetime reserve days" because Medicare will only pay for these extra days once in your lifetime Coinsurance: 20% of service costs; deductible must be met first Preventive benefits: There are some preventive services under Part B that Medicare covers at 100% Premium: Varies by plan; the average basic monthly premium is estimated to be about $17/mo Coinsurance: Varies by plan and service(s) received Premium: Varies by plan; the average basic monthly premium for standard Part D is estimated to be about $46.50/mo but catastrophic coverage kicks in after you hit $2,000 in out-of-pocket costs for covered drugs Deductible: $2,870 for high-deductible options F Out-of-pocket maximum: OOP maximums for Medigap Plans K and L are $7,220 and $3,610 and out-of-pocket costs are a major consideration when choosing coverage That’s why it’s important to take the time to understand all the options available to you For a quick reference guide on Medicare out-of-pocket costs in 2025, download and print our chart that's featured below ShareRelated TopicsHealth Care BenefitsBenefits Programs & AssistanceMedicareNeed Help Understanding Medicare Enrollment?Timing is critically important when it comes to enrolling in Medicare. Yeah exactly this – complain about the US and lawsuits but there’s no way this would have gone on more than a couple months in the US but in those 2 years there would have been numerous press conferences and hearings with many thousands of hours billed by attorney’s on all sides Lawyers would have been paid up for the two years A separate group of lawyers would then be paid for the class action lawsuit that’ll take another 2-5 years to complete following the retrieval of the vehicles I’d jump all over this if I were a lawyer and let the Judge figure out who is liable and make them all parties to the same lawsuit Don’t let them separate that out or they’ll all weasel out of it by pointing the blame elsewhere sell off the garage-stored extremely low-mile vehicles thats how we wound up with a TV show about storage unit auctions Bonus points if all these places hide the cars under covers until the bids are finalized just like they keep bidders from entering the storage units to actually see what they’re buying That’s a mix between American Pickers and televised Mecum auctions I haven’t thought about American Pickers in a long time I can just imagine the bonkers deals they’d propose doing it that way This is just how new Carvana locations are established The days of inflatable gorillas is in the rearview used car dealers across the country are kicking themselves for not thinking to put a 4 story clear car elevator that goes nowhere in the middle of their lots like dozens of candy-loving London area children its just as easy to be a creep in a truck as it is to be a creep in a van I’m surprised the parking vendor didn’t charge them the daily rate for all the time the vehicles were there after 30 minutes of not handing over the vehicle the owner would be pulling a gun and demanding their property (that the bank technically owns) in texas or Florida when I first read the headline I thought that’s where this story was going Imagine if someone with modest means lower income lost use of a car and had to still make payments and still get to work the next day they would take the bus like they do when their street parked car gets broken into overnight Luckily this is in London where there is functioning public transport There had to be someone who could have gotten them off with a fork lift of loader Maybe if the group filed a claim with the buildings or company in charge of the parking insurance things would have moved Just a crazy situation created by terrible out of touch people Sometimes even though they “own” something they get forced out of public opinion turns on them As soon as someone hopped on a forklift and even made a small darting motion in the direction of the parking stacker Health and Safety would have been there on the spot Just no knowledge or concept how to do anything I’ve heard of us roofers getting the OSHA guys to “demo” the harnesses they are supposed to wear then the OSHA guys having to go to the hospital after the harnees does it’s thing Maybe some middle of the night doors closed activity could have solved it This reminds me a lot of the Wolfsburg Autostadt that giant tower full of VWs that acts like a giant car vending machine But there’s a key difference: This one fails but ultimately delivers your car to you; the VW delivers perfectly it’s not yet clear which organization will be liable for the matter Then it should work like an insurance payout – whichever organization actually received the money from the parkers originally should pay out and then their lawyers can sort it out with the other potentially liable organization’s lawyers The poor bastards who lost their cars for 2 and a half years should not be left hanging the whole time they’re sorting this out Impressed that the EV managed to drive itself out though I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the ICEs with now very old gas in them have a rough time of it Time to send Jackie Chiles to London… I would have thought this would fall under Bailor rules and thus required reimbursement after a given number of days Like when a dry cleaner loses your clothes there is likely some waiver or saign that says that you relinquish responsibility when storing it in one of their parking spots to absolve them from any wrongdoing this isn’t their first time dealing with this passive sign postings do not waive or supersede laws or regulations and I’ve never signed anything to park a car My alternative guess is that it had something to do with the lender or loan agreement And while writing that last sentence it popped into my head that the ownership of tools and equipment in the truck might transfer to the garage if there were acceptance of reimbursement from the bailee It’s not like they could remove anything from the vehicle there are often signs upon entry that waive any responsibility whether you read them or they will uphold in court is an entirely different matter the signs just provide the owner something to point to to prevent the lawsuit because people often just give up and wait two years while someone holds their van in a broken lift Is there any information on exactly what the issue was with the lift I fail to see how there is ZERO ability to recover any vehicles off the lifts if it the 3 stack variety seen in the videos Using a non-powered lift with a heavy duty forklift should be able to get the job done fairly easily How can anyone with the least bit of mechanical ingenuity not engineer a solution Lucas designed both the lift and every nearby forklift “How can anyone with the least bit of mechanical ingenuity not engineer a solution?” Anyone who has ever owned a (perpetually broken) Triumph knows the answer to this question and the answer – at least in the UK – is NO You somehow left out the lowest hanging fruit Admittedly I never think of them – I’ve always been around broken sports cars as opposed to broken SUV’s Probably the “we are not going to try anything dramatic and expensive they promised us it will be fixed next week and next week was two years later to be fair it does still kinda feel like 2022 sometimes and they couldn’t get the corpse out of the wheel They it needs a bit of time to rise up has its nifty Teleport attack which can move Cosmog out of the Active Spot for only one Energy This makes it easy for the Pokémon to hide behind a wall while you’re setting up which allows it to switch itself into the Active Spot at no cost There are a few decent wall Pokémon to choose from another -type Pokémon that works wonders with a Giant Cape Game plan(s): There are two strategies to choose from depending on your opening hand which uses Skarmory to poke the Defending Pokémon with its Metal Arms attack works in a pinch if you don’t initially draw Cosmog or a Rare Candy Metal Arms makes Skarmory a fantastic option as a low-maintenance attacker and wall that can allow you to dedicate Energy attachments to your other Pokémon Skarmory’s Metal Arms attack does 30 more damage if the Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool attached to it so with the Giant Cape it can take out lower-stage Pokémon easily (or even set up some key Knock Outs later in the game) if you happen to draw a strong opening hand that includes Cosmog and the newly released Rare Candy you can Evolve Cosmog straight into Solgaleo ex Solgaleo ex might even be able to launch a Sol Breaker attack (which deals a whopping 120 damage for only two  Energy) as early as your second turn if you’re going second With Solgaleo ex’s Rising Road Ability and its low-cost Sol Breaker attack this Pokémon makes for a highly mobile and consistent attacker once it’s fully evolved—all without the need to use deck slots on retreat aids such as Leaf or X Speed Stage 2 Pokémon appreciate a bit of extra consistency Iono is a key Supporter to include alongside helpful Item cards such as Pokémon Communication and Rare Candy Once you’ve got your Solgaleo ex rolling though it’ll needs a bit of a Skarmory Cyrus can pull a damaged target off the Bench and back into the Active Spot for easy clean-up from either Skarmory or Solgaleo ex Alternate cards: These strategies only just scratching the surface of the brand new Solgaleo ex Try pairing it with fellow -type Legendary Pokémon Dialga ex including healing cards like Potion or the newly released Lillie or even using Sabrina to push high-HP lives Maybe it’s the sanctuary you’ve built for yourself or visiting a family member’s home — sitting at the kitchen counter as you cook dinner side-by-side a meal that warms your heart as memories flash through your mind or a city you visited during your whirlwind travels For Mercedes’ F1 Academy driver Doriane Pin racing on track is where she feels most at home and happiest The French driver’s home echoes with whining from engines and cheers from fans and teams and the sights of liveries’ vibrant colors Pin has navigated her way from being too small to drive a go kart to now competing on the Formula One support series ladder — fighting for the title in her last season of F1 Academy Pin’s dream remains to compete in F1 — but there have been numerous times when she’s doubted whether this is possible The pinnacle of motorsport is just a few junior categories away further up the ladder but The number of spots simply decrease the higher you climb so you don’t know if it’s possible,” Pin told The Athletic so strongly about it that you don’t really think about Formula One every day You just think about your journey and you see how it goes I cannot say if I’m more sure that I will be joining (the) Formula One grid But I’m working for it so hard and working every day at the gym One of Pin’s earliest motorsports memories is watching F1 on television with her father but didn’t begin dreaming about becoming an F1 driver until Sebastian Vettel won his world championships with Red Bull from 2010 to 2013 seeing him winning titles as well — it’s very inspiring and you want to do the same,” Pin said I had those moments when I was watching TV and dreaming about Formula One.” She frequented the track before she could actually race she watched at the local karting circuit while her father organized 24-hour karting events “I loved sharing this with my dad,” Pin said She had to wait for her turn in the driver’s seat Most drivers begin karting at six years old but Pin had to wait until nine and a half because she was too small But she was competitive even at that young age — opting for tennis to fill the void until she could jump into a go-kart “It made me happy since the beginning because I like the environment I feel (at) home when I’m on track,” Pin explained “It’s (a) very unique feeling when you go home I love the adrenaline that you have when you’re driving — the vibration Pin continued navigating the French karting ranks and though her finishes weren’t as high as her third place in the 2015 Subaru Karting World Championship But budget concerns slowly became more front of mind “I started go-karting at nine and when you decide to go in the French Championship and you start to decide that you’re going to do some good level of racing It was hard from the beginning to find someone (to offer sponsorship funding) — because it’s obviously very expensive and the money doesn’t come like this,” Pin said “I was very lucky that I managed to meet some friends of my dad with two different companies in the same building I was going (there) every Wednesday after school to talk about my racing those individuals helped fund Pin’s racing and her father became her mechanic we don’t have any anything anymore,” Pin continued That big race was the French Karting Championship her uncle helping as well as numerous motorsports friends Her kart was fitted with “good materials to compete,” as she put it and she pulled off the massive feat when it counted — winning the championship This brought her more racing opportunities But the budget concerns persisted even after she graduated from karting she competed in the FIA Girls On Track Rising Stars selection for entry into a Formula Four championship We had the budget for not even one full race weekend of Formula Four.” Renault invited Pin to compete in three Clio Cup races in 2020 and while she said it was a “good experience and good race craft,” it ultimately wasn’t the direction where she wanted to take her career called — inviting the French driver to test in February 2021 Pin had a month to prepare before hopping into a Ferrari GT car and she impressed so much that she secured a full-time racing program with the team Pin described it as “the opportunity of my life,” and she made her start in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup The 2021 season marked her first in car racing with Pin also competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in GT3 ending the year fifth in that championship Pin then won the Ferrari Challenge Europe championship the following season she won her class (GTE) in the 4 Hours of Portimão — a sports car endurance race in Portugal and part of the European Le Mans Series season where slower GT cars race at the same time as quicker prototype machines It marked the Iron Dames’ first class win in the series while Pin also secured a class victory in the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps “Pocket Rocket,” came from her speedy performances with the Iron Dames there was a substantial age gap between her and teammates Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting — around a decade It all goes back to when they were fighting for their first podium in GT racing when Pin was battling on track against a factory-backed driver to secure a third-place finish she’s a little pocket rocket,’” Pin recalled While Pin continued making her name in endurance sports car racing — jumping to the LMP2 category in the World Endurance Championship in 2023 — her target remained to compete in single-seaters on the F1 support ladder she competed in the South East Asian F4 Championship — taking a win and second in the standings News broke in January 2024 that Pin would not only join the Mercedes Junior Programme but would represent the Silver Arrows squad in F1 Academy and be supported by PREMA Racing and the Iron Dames (the two companies forming a sister team relationship) “They have so much experience and to start a single-seater career with a team like this The French driver’s 2024 season featured her making her F1 Academy debut and competing in the Formula Regional European Championship Pin looked poised to fight for that year’s F1 Academy title after winning the first race in Jeddah but Alpine’s Abbi Pulling subsequently ran away with the championship Pin ended the year with three victories and as runner-up in the standings One of the biggest lessons she took onboard last season was how “working hard will always pay off.” This is nod toward how she had a strong season start but then struggled more from the second round in Miami and didn’t have the answers as to why and she was sick during the first round of that championship at Hockenheim Pin said there wasn’t an impact on her performance that weekend but when competing at Spa later that month she broke her ribs while coughing with her cockpit seatbelts on I (had) been driving the second race and I was not good,” Pin said “We found out (afterwards) that I had five ribs cracked ‘Imagine I don’t come back as good as I was before.’” Pin needed to build muscle around her ribs to help with recovery and rest She said that breaking your ribs “is the worst thing” because “if you break your leg You cannot pull something; you cannot open the door without having pain The FRECA round at Spa last year was the weekend of May 24-26 and F1 Academy did not return to action until its Barcelona round on June 21-23 Pin had to withdraw from racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans — the showpiece WEC and sports car event — but she was back and competing in F1 Academy that weekend in Spain she did return as strong as she was before — but he success was spread further across the rest of the season Pin’s next two victories came during Race 2 at Zandvoort in August and Race 1 in Qatar during the season’s penultimate round “It was sometimes a bit up and down,” Pin said when talking about the lessons she learned in 2024 “but the down helps you to be better for high moments afterwards.” She knows the game better heading into this season and is competing in F1 Academy and FRECA once again — the latter being a mixed grid of male and female drivers And she already has a victory under her belt but no longer has the top spot in the standings after finishing third in Race 2 in Jeddah Ten races are left in Pin’s last F1 Academy season and it remains to be seen where she will compete next year and if her F1 dream can continue But she’s making sure to push to the limit and enjoy each step as it comes — a piece of advice she wishes she could give herself when she started out karting “Sometimes you forget to enjoy because you are so much into results and you think you (might) make sad people or make people unhappy and stuff It’s how it got me through the difficult moments and also through my whole career If you enjoy everything you do and with the people you like and the people you’re working with the result and the work comes naturally is how you perform.” (Top photo: Pauline Ballet – Formula with Solgaleo and Lunala as the respective figurehead Pokémon for each pack This expansion is adding the first immersive Supporter card and a bunch of new ex cards for you to earn and learn Below, we’ve created a table outlining all new cards in the Celestial Guardians expansion — along with their typing, HP, and attack/ability. If you’re looking for older expansions, here’s how to change booster packs. Here’s every new Celestial Guardians card, laid out in a handy table: The best of Polygon in your inbox, every Friday. by Ana Diaz Released on Wednesday, the new Celestial Guardians update adds more than 200 new cards to the virtual card-collecting game and in-game events A new special event celebrating the six-month anniversary of the game will allow you to collect a free full-art Rayquaza ex card The event is live at time of writing and will run through Thursday This guide will show you how to get the free full-art Rayquaza ex card and complete the special missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket It’s a bit confusing at the moment, because there are two Rayquaza-themed events running in TCG Pocket right now: the “Raquaza ex drop event” and “Special Missions 2025.” The Raquaza ex drop event does not give you the full-art Rayquaza — only the Special Missions 2025 event does. The drop event does not give you the rare full-art version of Rayquaza ex, but the Rayquaza ex card you can earn through it is functionally the same in competitive modes, since it has the same stats and attacks. You can collect items like pack hourglasses and the adorable “street party” themed playmat for free by completing the special missions in the Special Missions 2025 event. However, getting the full-art Rayquaza ex card might be a bit rough because you will need to win 50 (!) battles within in a single month-long period to get it. Here are the full directions on how get the full-art Rayquaza ex card: It really makes it feel like the developers are making us work for this one! It’s up to you to decide if that card is worth the grind. If your heart is dead-set on getting it, here are a few tips to alleviate the grind. The event — which started on Wednesday, April 30, and will run through Tuesday, May 13 — offers a chance to get promo cards like Rayquaza ex, Rayquaza, and Farfetch’d. The drop event is one of two events where players can currently earn a Rayquaza ex card, though if you’re looking for the full-art version, see our guide on how to get a free full-art Rayquaza ex This Pokémon TCG Pocket guide will go over all Rayquaza ex Drop Event promo cards and give you some ideas on the best cards to counter the Rayquaza ex decks you’ll be facing in the event There are five promo cards you can earn through the Rayquaza ex Drop Event You earn cards by opening cards from Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7. These packs contain one promo card per pack and have a pink wrapper exterior. You earn them by completing the battles in the “Gible Drop Event.” One battle requires one token of Event Stamina, which recharges passively over time or can be replenished with Event Hourglass. You aren’t guaranteed to win a promo pack for each battle challenge you win: The promo card packs are listed in the game as a “chance reward” for every single battle. However, in Polygon’s experience, we had a much higher chance of earning one from finishing battles on the “Expert” difficulty. In fact, it rewarded us with a promo pack every time we beat the bot on that level. There are four difficulty levels in the Rayquaza ex Drop Event: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. The deck-building advice below will set you up to tackle the Expert difficulty, so you can breeze through the easier difficulties using the advice below. The decks in the Rayquaza ex Drop Event feature decks that use cards that are weak to lighting type attacks like Rayquaza and Greninja. As a result, you will want to focus on building lighting-type decks for this challenge. The official Pokemon Pocket Guide Box Set was published by Viz Media last September. More comfortable. For those who’d prefer different materials, a budget-friendly option or a thicker weight, we’ve rounded up three other sets to consider. While standard sheets typically fit mattresses up to 14 inches, these picks can accommodate burly beds as tall as 21 inches. Ahead, find the best deep-pocket sheets of 2025, based on thorough research and testing. Pocket depth: 16 inches | Material: 100% long-staple cotton | Thread count: 480 | Colors: 22 “These are one of my favorite pairs of sheets that I own while maintaining a light and airy texture that’s comfy to sleep with all year round They’ve only gotten softer with each wash.” Pocket depth: 21 inches | Material: 100% microfiber | Thread count: Not listed | Colors: 45 These Mellanni sheets have more than 245,000 5-star ratings on Amazon with customers complimenting their softness and overall comfort. One of our testers says they’re also lightweight and airy, making them a nice choice for anyone who sleeps hot. The extra-deep pocket set can fit tall mattresses up to 21 inches and stays snugly on the bed, while the pillowcases are made with envelope-style enclosures to keep your pillows put inside. Our tester claims that despite the affordable price, they’re also quite durable and hold up well after several washes. They’re made to be stain-resistant as well, which many shoppers highlight in their reviews. There are dozens of colorways to choose from, more so than any sheet set on in our roundup, but keep in mind that each pattern and color isn’t available for each size. Pocket depth: 20 inches | Material: 100% viscose from bamboo | Thread count: Not listed | Colors: 13 The Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheet Set is one of my go-tos for hotter months. Along with being one of the softest sheet sets I’ve ever tested, its bamboo viscose construction makes it feel very lightweight and cooling. The sheets have an oversized fit as a whole and can accommodate mattresses up to 20 inches. I’ve washed them countless times over the years and haven’t noticed any signs of deterioration.  Although the brand doesn’t share the thread count for these bamboo sheets, it describes it as being high-quality and notes how thread count doesn’t accurately reveal a fabric’s softness, strength or quality. Whatever the thread count may be, these sheets are thinner than average, so note that if you purchase the white color they’re a little translucent.  Pocket depth: 20 inches | Material: 100% long-staple Supima cotton | Thread count: 450 | Colors: 15 If you prefer a soft and crease-free sheet that’s more resistant when it comes to wrinkles the Legends Hotel sateen set is designed to remain smooth Our tester says they aren’t resistant to every last wrinkle but they do have a much more noticeable wrinkle-free finish than any others Many customers also praise the sheets’ ability to ward off wrinkles and keep a pristine look.  Along with fitting mattresses up to 20 inches (or 16 inches if you choose the standard sheets) The 450-thread count combined with the sateen weave makes the sheets slightly more heavyweight and extra durable There are more than a dozen colors to choose from and you have the option to monogram or personalize them for an extra fee.  we researched the highest-rated ones on the market and turned to well-known We also relied on our own testing experience along with customer insights and reviews Sheets are a crucial part of your sleep setup as they’re usually the layer that you’re closest to and snuggling through the night interior designer and founder of Bright Bazaar “Some of the deepest fitted sheets can fit mattresses up to 22 to 24 inches thick.” If the sheet depth is the same as your mattress depth consider finding a slightly larger set in order to have more room to better secure the fitted sheet It depends on your mattress height, but deep-pocket sheets are at least more than 14 inches. The ones on our list fit mattresses from 16 to 21 inches tall.  Five-star hotels typically use sheets with high-quality 100% cotton and stay away from synthetic materials. This allows them to be soft, breathable and durable. Deep-pocket sheets are worth it if you have a mattress taller than 14 inches. They minimize the need to regularly pull your fitted sheet back under your bed and fit your mattress better than standard sheets.  Patients at a higher risk of breast cancer could see the cost of preventative screenings eliminated under a bill being introduced for a third time by Wisconsin legislators Gail’s Law would require insurers to cover supplemental breast screening exams for individuals at increased risk Current Wisconsin law requires insurance coverage for an initial mammogram but it does not require coverage for follow-up screenings including those needed due to dense breast tissue or abnormal results About 50 percent of women have dense breast tissue making them four to six times more likely to develop breast cancer since tumors are often more difficult to detect with standard mammograms.  many women currently face out-of-pocket costs upwards of $1,000 for supplemental imaging She said the financial burden of additional screening costs should not discourage women from getting critical diagnostic tests “I think of the women out there who get that letter and how many of them are following up with the secondary screening and how many are blowing it off because they don’t have an extra $1,000 for an MRI right now,” Nedweski said “And then they have a diagnosis two years down the line where if they had just gone for that ultrasound early on maybe they could have caught it early enough and could have avoided having to go through chemotherapy or radiation or treatment.” Almost 99 percent of women diagnosed with breast cancer at the earliest stage live for 5 years or more, compared to about 32 percent of those diagnosed at the most advanced stage, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention There is also a cost benefit for treating early.  The average per-patient costs for medical services were highest for the end-of-life phase at $76,100. Early stage breast cancer treatment costs about $35,000, according to the CDC.  Dawn Anderson is the former executive director of the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition She now heads the coalition’s policy committee.  Anderson said insurance companies have for years fought against required coverage of additional breast cancer screening companies spend more money treating late-stage cancer.  Gail Zeamer was diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer in 2016 The 47-year-old had been getting annual mammograms but she was never told she had dense breasts or that routine mammograms could miss up to 50 percent of cancers in women with dense breasts Zeamer had a small tumor that had been hidden for years behind dense tissue.  she reached out to her state legislators and shared her story.  Wisconsin passed legislation requiring health care facilities to notify a woman The mandated notification also encourages women to follow up with their health care professional to discuss risk and the potential need for further screening joining the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition and notifying legislators that insurance doesn’t cover the cost of additional screening.  The first version of the bill was introduced in 2021 and included a $50 copay.  The bill did not make it out of committee.  In February 2023, another attempt was announced and the Early Detection Saves Lives Coalition was formed to support the effort The group includes the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition American Cancer Society and Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association Those groups later pulled their support when an amendment was added to the bill that removed MRI screenings.  The 2023 bill was never scheduled for a vote in the Senate or Assembly.  “Gail was an amazing woman,” Anderson said “She had two daughters and testified for both bills that she wasn’t doing this for her She was doing it for other women and her daughters She said legislators typically shy away from creating laws that create mandates like Gail’s Law would do to insurance companies.  “We know we do not like to do mandates,” Duchow said I thought that we break our rule of never doing mandates.” Duchow believes there is finally an appetite to pass the legislation.  “Everybody knows somebody who’s had breast cancer,” she said “Whether it’s your next door neighbor or it’s your sister or it’s your cousin Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System and Wisconsin Educational Communications Board It’s time to take an island vacation in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s latest expansion in which beloved Trainers and Pokémon from the Alola region make their debuts There are over 200 cards waiting to be added to your collection from Oricorio’s many type variations to Alolan forms of Pokémon from other regions so get ready to dive into this expansion and grow your collection to astronomical levels If you’re lucky enough to get the immersive cards featuring either of the Legendary Pokémon try tilting them around and viewing them from different angles to appreciate dynamic illustrations that look as if they’ll pop right out of the screen These are just a few of the things to look forward to in this new expansion—there are many more powerful Pokémon ex and first-ever immersive Supporter cards to be discovered Pokémon TCG Pocket is throwing a half-year celebration starting April 29 so alongside the release of Celestial Guardians are some special missions and solo battles that you won’t want to miss Put your new cards to the test in special solo battles with rewards including Promo Pack A Series Vol which might contain a Rayquaza ex promo card A full-art version of the Rayquaza ex promo is also available—plus a few other incredible in-game accessories—as a reward for completing half-year anniversary special missions available until May 28 now’s the perfect time to start playing Pokémon TCG Pocket—or convincing your friends to join you It’s time to take an island vacation in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s latest expansion Here are all the cards you can expect to try and pull for in Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Celestial Guardians set There are now so many different Pokemon TCG Pocket booster packs in rotation that I’m beginning to lose count and it appears that Celestial Guardians marks the sixth new release of cards to collect It’s the fourth ‘mini-set’ so to speak and the second set to include rare shiny cards The poster Pokemon for this set to look out for are the enchanting Solgaleo and Lunala both Generation 7 ‘mons that you may recognise from Pokemon Sun and Moon if you’re curious as to what cards you can anticipate pulling here’s our Pokemon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians card list Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Celestial Guardians is the sixth set of booster packs added to the mobile card-collecting game There’s also even more shiny cards – first introduced in Shining Revelry – to go about collecting as well as the most prized cards of the set; Louis Vuitton North America, Inc.
