Vexus Fiber's $35-a-month plan for 150Mbps is the cheapest but a required $13-per-month network access fee would make that expensive
which brings it closer to Spectrum's starting monthly price of $50
You'll get a much higher speed potential with Spectrum's cheapest plan
Vexus Fiber is the fastest with its 2 Gig plan with speeds of 2,000Mbps up and down
Spectrum and Gigabit Fiber are competitive on their top-end download speeds of 1,000Mbps
The story is different when we look at upload speeds
while Vexus and Gigabit Fiber offer 1,000Mbps uploads.
Spectrum’s cable internet network reaches roughly 89% of Harlingen homes
making it the widest-reaching wired ISP in the city.
If you’re seeking the best value or the fastest speeds
The most budget-friendly option is Vexus Fiber’s 150-megabits-per-second plan at $35 per month
though it does include a $13 network access fee
both Vexus Gigabit Fiber and Spectrum deliver 1,000Mbps download speeds and are widely available throughout Harlingen

While Vexus Fiber starts at $35 per month for 150Mbps

That means the entry-level Vexus plan costs more than the displayed numbers
you must provide your own router for either Spectrum or Vexus.
One way to lower your monthly home internet cost is to use a 5G home internet option from T-Mobile
Verizon or AT&T and then bundle an eligible mobile plan
This makes the most sense if you can get a strong connection at your house and are already a phone customer with a qualifying plan
