a youth meeting called "Oratoriada" on the theme "You are not alone" was held in Chocianów
The event was attended by more than 200 young people from Salesian oratories in Poznań
This was the second oratory-related youth gathering this school year
It all started on Friday evening when the first groups of young people began to arrive at the elementary school in Chocianów and after dinner took part in an intense time of prayer
who focused on the Salesian charism and Mary Help of Christians

Poland - November 2024 - On 9 and 10 November
about one hundred young people from the Salesian presences in Wrocław
took part in the night vigil organised at the Christ the King Youth Centre  The programme included two special guests: Jasiek Mela
a Polish explorer the youngest person in history to conquer the South and North Poles in one year and the first person with a disability to do so; and the diocesan youth pastor of the Wrocław Archdiocese
A particularly moving point of the programme was the testimony of Jasiek Mela
but also about his journey to the North Pole and his mission and work in various foundations
spoke about the role of young people in the Church and how important it is for young people to be active in their faith
He spoke about the power of prayer and community
as the vigil participants themselves pointed out
was the night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
This was followed by various workshops in decoupage
The vigil ended in the morning with a classic integration dance
Poland - February 2023 - The first week of winter vacation in Lower Silesia ends today
In keeping with tradition in many cities where Salesians work
mid-year winter camps were held last week for young people from Salesian oratories and schools in the Wrocław Province (PLO)
and Wrocław organized winter recreational activities for more than 500 minors
the children participated in various initiatives and excursions
and science workshops and conducted workshops with paper
There was also no shortage of physical activities
during which people had the opportunity to dress up as the characters of their dreams from movies or fairy tales
