A graduate of Miedz Legnica's youth academy, he soon made a name for himself among the professionals, attracting attention with his skill, speed and eye for goal. In just his first three games this season, Bogacz has already scored twice, showing that, even at a young age, he has the potential to shine in any league.\n And it's not just in Poland that Bogacz's talent has been noticed. Recent rumors have linked him to the mighty Juventus, one of Italy's giants. The MLS, once seen as a haven for players at the end of their careers, has reinvented itself in recent years. But is this change really beneficial for world soccer? \n For Bogacz, the opportunity to introduce himself to a wider audience in the United States is like a golden door opening. The chance to be a protagonist in a growing league, coupled with the challenge of adapting to a new style of play. What's more, history shows that the New York Red Bulls are not new to betting on Poles. Patryk Klimala, for example, has already worn the team's jersey, paving the way for Bogacz to follow. Interest in alternatives to oil and gas heat has surged, and demand for heat pumps has skyrocketed The global market for these electric-powered climate systems which convert thermal energy from the air (or groundwater or geothermal sources) into home heating energy For Viessmann Climate Solutions a leading global provider of sustainable climate control solutions this energy transition is a great opportunity Germany-based company recently partnered its climate solutions division with Florida-based Carrier Global Corporation to create a new global advocate for sustainable energy solutions Viessmann plans to invest a billion euros over three years to expand production of heat pumps and green air-conditioning systems At the center of this initiative will be a new €200 million 50,000-square-meter heat pump factory in Legnica our goal is to drive the energy and heating revolution forward,” says Norbert Schmidt The Legnica factory will incorporate modular The Legnica heat pump plant will be a flagship facility for Viessmann’s climate solutions business Its location in southwestern Poland positions the company to supply growing heat pump markets in central and eastern Europe Viessmann will use the latest production technologies to maximize efficiency and enhance productivity across manufacturing processes—including an optimized manufacturing layout; modular expandable manufacturing and test units; a centralized packaging area; automated assembly processes; and automated logistics with autonomous guided vehicles (AGV) Sustainability is also a critical consideration in designing the facility—in particular carbon neutrality and sustainable energy use Viessmann has committed to making its operations net zero by 2050 the company plans to reduce emissions from its own operations by at least 48% (compared to 2019 levels) by 2030 “We plan to start producing heat pumps in Legnica in the fall of 2023 just about one year after laying the first foundation stone,” Schmidt says With a tight timeline and an ambitious vision Schmidt and the Viessmann team turned to integrated factory modeling to develop the new facility Viessmann will be able to complete construction of the Legnica factory within one year “I’ve worked with CAD technology for more than 35 years for both factory design and layout planning,” Schmidt says we’ve achieved a new advantage with the introduction of BIM: The digital model has brought togethermany people from different companies.” For the Legnica project this includes teams across the Viessmann organization “The introduction of digital factory planning to our company brought us the advantage of collaborative planning and simultaneous engineering The speed with which we were able to build was a great success but even greater than that was the fact that the most diverse groups—from architecture to building services to factory planning to production management—could work together intensively.” The Legnica factory's roof begins to take shape enabling the team to develop and review workflows to ensure they fit within the Viessmann ecosystem The combined digital factory model becomes a “single source of truth” that ensures that all teams are working from the same accurate information at all times This model also helps design the facility to meet Viessmann’s goals for CO2 emissions and energy use by using the building properties to calculate total consumption and emissions for the factory in advance Viessmann will take the project data all the way through planning, construction, and operations—with plans to convert the 3D factory model to a digital twin that will be used for computer-aided facility management (CAFM) When the digital twin is populated with real-time operations data the factory team will be able to address maintenance issues promptly and take preventative measures to avoid breakdowns Visitors tour the interior of the Legnica factory site under construction “The benefits of working together on a virtual model are huge,” Schmidt says and onsite construction workers—can access the project data at any time from anywhere.” Project status is constantly tracked and monitored in the model and continuous checks for clash detection prevent planning errors in the design phase As construction proceeds on the Polish facility Schmidt says that integrated factory modeling will help Viessmann create more accurate plans and schedules across all project phases; reduce the amount of rework required on the construction site; and deliver significant time and cost savings in the designated construction space on the virtual 3D model We can compare them with other model components and execute them without collision,” Schmidt says “This results in far more detailed planning depth and quality Errors or missed deadlines are avoided at an early stage and ensure an efficient construction project Risks and material wastage are minimized.” Integrated factory modeling allows diverse Viessmann teams to work together seamlessly from planning to production management; as a result the Legnica plant is on track to open in fall 2023 With the heat pump plant on track for completion in late 2023 the advantages of integrated factory modeling over the traditional factory planning and design approach are evident “The speed with which we were able to build our model was a great success and management was always able to stay informed about current status,” Schmidt says “But even greater than that was the fact that the most diverse groups—from architecture to building services to factory planning to production management—could work together intensively.” integrated factory modeling is a best practice that Viessmann will carry into future projects “The introduction of this method to our company brought us the advantage of digital collaborative planning and simultaneous engineering,” he explains “We’re currently establishing a way to ensure knowledge transfer from previous projects in all company divisions.” Schmidt sees even more potential with broader adoption of technology for factory planning and facility management within the company the advantages of planning with a 3D digital model can’t be denied,” he says “Our goal for the future must be the acceptance and deepening of digitization Find out how manufacturing innovators are digitally transforming their production facilities—from the early stages of design through operations Learn more about integrated factory modeling it's impossible to predict what the future holds for Wiktor Bogacz Perhaps he'll become an idol in Poland leading Miedź Legnica to new heights of achievement and eventually getting an even bigger transfer Or maybe he'll look back and regret not having taken the opportunity to play in the MLS ","https://fansided.com/",{"alt":"77","src":"78","url":"79"},{"type":"76","value":"7a"},"link","Minute Media","https://www.minutemedia.com/",{"text":"7d","url":"7e"},{"type":"7c","value":"7f"},"All Rights Reserved most players dream of conquering the world of swapping the modest training grounds of Central Europe for the spotlight and glamour of American stadiums fame and the chance to shine in one of the most promising leagues are invitations too tempting to ignore decided to turn down a hefty offer from the New York Red Bulls who in their right mind leaves millions of euros on the table and a golden chance to play in the MLS to stay at a modest club in the Ekstraklasa?\n When the New York Red Bulls came knocking, offering a contract that could change his life and the financial history of Miedź Legnica, everyone thought it was only a matter of time before Bogacz left for the United States. Two million euros, that's how much the American club was willing to pay. Not just any amount for an Ekstraklasa team, a sum that would be a record for a transfer of this level. So why not accept?\n Bogacz's answer was simple, but full of maturity: “It's too early for this trip”. It may sound like an excuse, an attempt to avoid the unknown, but the truth is that he values development time more than immediate brilliance. He understands that, for many players, skipping stages can be a fatal mistake. And with the pressure and expectations that would come with a move to the MLS, perhaps he felt he wasn't yet ready for that leap.\n The decision, of course, was a bucket of cold water for MLS enthusiasts and especially for New York Red Bulls officials. They saw in Bogacz a player who could not only bring more goals, but also add value to the team. A talented young European always catches the eye, and the American league has specialized in developing these talents, shaping them for the future.\n Furthermore, Bogacz's loyalty to Miedź Legnica should not be underestimated. The club took a gamble on him at a difficult time, extending his contract while he was still recovering from injury. That kind of support creates bonds that money simply can't buy. And by choosing to stay, he is repaying that trust in a way that few others would.\n On the other hand, it's undeniable that the Polish club missed out on a great financial opportunity. Two million euros would have been a significant boost to Miedź Legnica's coffers, allowing them to invest in new signings or improve the club's infrastructure. Bogacz's decision, therefore, not only affects his career, but also the club's financial future. Will he be able to compensate for this loss with his performance on the pitch?\n Ultimately, it's impossible to predict what the future holds for Wiktor Bogacz. Perhaps he'll become an idol in Poland, leading Miedź Legnica to new heights of achievement and eventually getting an even bigger transfer. Or maybe he'll look back and regret not having taken the opportunity to play in the MLS. Time will tell. Wiktor Bogacz, the 20-year-old striker, surprisingly turned down a million-dollar offer from the New York Red Bulls, opting instead to continue his career with Miedź Legnica 14 Mar 2025 17:00:00
