On May 1, 2025, a beloved Marian image in the Philippines received one of the Church’s highest honors: a pontifical coronation
Known affectionately as “Imang” by devotees
the image of Our Lady of Fatima de Binakayan was solemnly crowned at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima in Kawit
Cavite — an event made even more poignant as one of the final acts approved by Pope Francis before his health declined
Presided over by Archbishop Charles Brown
Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista of Imus and five other prelates joined in the rite
which was held in nomine et auctoritate ipsius Summi Pontificis — that is
“in the name and authority of the Supreme Pontiff.”
the papal coronation recognizes the image’s deep spiritual significance and long-standing devotion
“We undertake this with profound gratitude,” Fr. Julius De Sagun, the shrine rector, told CBCP News
we celebrate the enduring light of Pope Francis’ life and legacy.”
The devotion to Our Lady of Fatima in Binakayan began nearly 60 years ago
an American couple gifted the image to then-Archbishop Rufino Cardinal Santos
It was entrusted to the newly founded Fatima Parish in Cavite
where the image soon became associated with miracles
then-Bishop Luis Antonio Tagle granted it an episcopal coronation
using a crown gifted by Portugal’s Shrine of Fatima
But with the elevation to a pontifical coronation
this local devotion has now taken its place among the most honored Marian shrines in the Philippines
They signify not only enduring popular devotion but also the Church’s affirmation of the image as a vessel of divine grace
where Marian devotion is deeply woven into the fabric of life
these events become national moments of spiritual renewal

who had been documenting war in Gaza for 18 months and was subject of new documentary
killed along with 10 members of her family
As a young photojournalist living in Gaza, Fatima Hassouna knew that death was always at her doorstep. As she spent the past 18 months of war documenting airstrikes, the demolition of her home, the endless displacement and the killing of 11 family members, all she demanded was that she not be allowed to go quietly.
“If I die, I want a loud death,” Hassouna wrote on social media. “I don’t want to be just breaking news, or a number in a group, I want a death that the world will hear, an impact that will remain through time, and a timeless image that cannot be buried by time or place.”
On Wednesday, just days before her wedding, 25-year-old Hassouna was killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit her home in northern Gaza. Ten members of her family, including her pregnant sister, were also killed.
The Israeli military said it had been a targeted strike on a Hamas member involved in attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians.

it was announced that a documentary focusing on Hassouna’s life in Gaza since the Israeli offensive began would be debuted at a French independent film festival that runs parallel to Cannes
Made by the Iranian director Sepideh Farsi
tells the story of Gaza’s ordeal and the daily life of Palestinians through filmed video conversations between Hassouna and Farsi
Hassouna became “my eyes in Gaza … fiery and full of life
When you see the film you’ll understand,” Farsi told Deadline
“I had talked to her a few hours before to tell her that the film was in Cannes and to invite her.”
She said she had lived in fear for Hassouna’s life but added: “I told myself I had no right to fear for her
said she feared that Hassouna had been targeted for her much-followed work as a photojournalist and recently publicised participation in the documentary
Gaza has been the deadliest conflict for journalists in recent history
though some estimates put it as high as 206
Since Israel began its bombardment of Gaza
after the attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023
Since the ceasefire with Hamas collapsed in March
Israel has resumed its deadly airstrikes with vigour
and at least 30 people were killed in strikes on Friday
Fellow journalists in Gaza reacted with grief and anger at the news that an Israeli airstrike had taken Hassouna from them
“She documented massacres through her lens
capturing the people’s pain and screams in her photographs,” said Anas al-Shareef
Her death prompted a statement from the Cannes Acid film festival
where Farsi’s documentary will be screened in May
“We had watched and programmed a film in which this young woman’s life force seemed like a miracle,” they said
rejoiced at each of her appearances to see her alive
Haidar al-Ghazali, a Palestinian poet in Gaza, said in a post on Instagram that before she was killed
Hassouna had asked him to write a poem for her when she died
Speaking of her arrival into a kinder afterlife
The plants in the pots will arrange themselves for a gentle visitor
It will be bright enough to help mothers to dry their laundry quickly
and cool enough for the children to play all day

the Iranian filmmaker described Fatima in moving words
She added: "She was covering the war in Gaza

Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza
the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) estimates that at least 157 journalists and media workers have been killed
with other reports suggesting that the real number may exceed 200
The IFJ mourned Fatima and condemned the continued targeting of reporters
emphasising the need to end Israel's impunity
calling for an immediate and independent investigation into the killing of journalists
"Journalists in conflict zones should be treated as civilians and allowed to carry out their work without interference," said IFJ General Secretary Anthony Belanger
"There is widespread global interest in what is happening in Gaza
but we can only see the truth if journalists are allowed access to it
Doctors Without Borders said in a statement: "Gaza has become a mass grave for Palestinians and those who help them." The organisation's emergency coordinator

Search'I Long for Freedom': Gulfisha Fatima on 5 Years of IncarcerationThe WireApr 114 min read"I firmly believe that the general public of India is neither intolerant nor violent innately
I take a sigh of relief to see people striving for unity and stability in such a highly polarised current world."
An illustration of Gulfisha Fatima by Pariplab Chakraborty.Gulfisha Fatima was arrested on April 9
She has been in jail for the last five years
Below is a letter she wrote to her friends from prison recently
but it is also evident to anybody having sanity that the shouting modified mainstream media is hell bent upon making general public feel that you were exploited
tortured by a particular community not by an autocratic political regime
The partisan media portray that whatever unpleasant even today happens to you the only reason is a particular community
Not all minorities are vilified as overtly as “a particular community”
I firmly believe that the general public of India is neither intolerant nor violent innately
I take a sigh of relief to see people striving for unity and stability in such a highly polarised current world
One more thing I have come to feel that religion and politics go parallel invariably
The last page of Gulfisha Fatima’s letter.Last time in the courtroom
I asked him since when you have started getting such difficulty
“Hamesha darr ka ehsaas hota rehta hai jaise abhi kuch bura honewala hai isliye atak jata hu bolte bolte [I am constantly afraid that something bad is going to happen
and so I get stuck while speaking].” His words which are inevitable have stuck in my mind and keep popping up intermittently
When my parents are invited to attend any seminar or programme organised in solidarity with our struggle
seeing that people still dare speak for unity
The most applaudable aspect of their support is that they have not seen us
Honestly speaking I get overwhelmed to receive such selfless affection from people having different or similar ideology
There are such people that don’t let differences turn into dispute at large in the interest of humanity and united India
They deserve tremendous respect and love specially from “a particular community”
The coming Eid-ul-fitr will be my 6th Eid to be celebrated over here
For that day I have bought some jewellery designed [at the] stitching center and Kaajal
I ask my fellow inmates to protect me from ……….
Hehehe… in fact I grab every opportunity to fill myself with auspicious vibes of festivity
Since I believe in full acceptance of reality so why too much worry
I would do this and that if I were outside
Now it is solely my responsibility to take a call on as to how I should lead my mind and soul
I sound philosophical to myself but inadvertently the fact is that captivity has made me more spiritual
I wish [those] who consider themselves religious should also open their door for their soul to walk on the path of spirituality
Being spiritually aware doesn’t mean that one stops experiencing pain
I long for freedom crazily and feel excruciating darkness of interminable uncertainty for release
But it has helped me realise the sheer fragility of life
Last month I was reading Vivekananda sahitya in Hindi
We need to understand his viewpoints in a broader context which can potentially convince common people about beauty of differences and diversity
lawyers and everybody who did not leave me behind
but rather remained stood by my side like a pillar to offer me solace
solidarity and support throughout the five years of nonsense imprisonment
this journey would have been extremely devastating
Thankfully on 16th April 2025 I will have completed five years of jail life
I shall celebrate this day also to mark my survival in the most bizarre circumstances of struggle
Though incarceration has done no harm to my body
yet it has successfully managed to inflict on my mental health
The retention power of memory has deteriorated so badly that I forget even to call my mom very often
I am going somewhere to do something suddenly on the way I forget where I was heading to and for what
Faiz’s poetry seems to work for me in an unexpected way
Whenever I feel very low I resort to reading his poetry for two three days then it all vanishes in air
I leave you with two couplets composed by him
Come let us show you what is left of the slaughtered city
These are the graves of the people of purity
these are the tombs of the people of truth
do not be sad for today: I do not know that the writer of time has forgotten and is writing about the joys of tomorrow
Our family has just returned from a trip to Portugal
and I still feel as if I am not quite awake from a dream
received the hospitality of remarkably kind and welcoming people
and enjoyed wonderful local fare such as the Porto-famed Francesinha and fresh seafood
We visited the site of the Eucharistic miracle of Santarem
an experience that is difficult to describe
After participating in the Stations of the Cross with members of the local congregation
a gentleman beckoned us to follow him to the sacristy and view the miracle closely
we climbed a ladder and came within inches of the host which still displays the congealed blood of Our Lord
and when we returned to our home parish and received Communion the following Sunday
I reminded my nine-year-old daughter to pray quietly upon returning to the pew after receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus
she had seen something that should beyond a shadow of a doubt affirm our belief in the Real Presence
I reminded her of the Eucharistic miracle we viewed up close in Santarem and posed the question
“What if every host was bleeding when we received Communion at Mass?”
Never had that thought occurred to me before
and I began to wonder if we are too “used to” its all-important message
We would be hard-pressed to find a Catholic today who is unfamiliar with the story of Fatima. In the year 1917 during the first World War, a trio of shepherd children from the village of Fatima, Portugal, were granted a series of visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, culminating with the famed Miracle of the Sun
the Blessed Virgin imparted a series of messages to the children
which would be the cause of much suffering for them but would also grow into a powerful and lasting devotion to the Immaculate heart of Mary and her peace plan for the world
Offer suffering and penance for the conversion of sinners
Console the Lord in His sufferings and offer reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the sins of men
While in Fatima, our family took a tour through the village of Aljustrel
where the children lived and we saw their homes
I took a snapshot of my three children in front of the Marto home
The realization that my children were about the same age as the seers was powerful
and it occurred to me that events such as these could just as easily happen to my children in these days and times
and Jacinta had already planted the seeds of faith into their young hearts
they had a custom of praying the rosary together when they were in the fields grazing their sheep
the Lord sent an angel first to prepare their hearts to receive the message of his Blessed Mother
The events that followed propelled the most unlikely of missionaries: three uneducated shepherd children from modest families
onto an irreversible path of fame and mission
Mary asked them each time if they were willing to suffer for sinners
The children were granted a vision of hell
and Jacinta in salvation history reminds us that God calls us each to assist Him in our own salvation and that of others
I think we also tend to forget that much of the message of Fatima was conditional
the Blessed Virgin said to the children that if her requests were heeded
there would be peace in the world and further conflicts avoided
After the attempt on his life in 1981 (which
John Paul II “saw his part in the Fatima story.”
it follows that it is conditional upon our actions and how well we carry out our Mother’s requests
Each of us has a role to play in this dramatic story in Christian history
since we are all called to pray the rosary
and to offer sufferings for the conversion of sinners
I have seen my own part in the Fatima story
I decided to search for my biological mother at the age of 22
Over the course of learning about my birth and adoption
my birthmother revealed that at the time she was pregnant with me
my birthfather punched her in the stomach to attempt to cause a miscarriage
but it made me understand yet again how miraculous it is that I am alive
I lived at Our Lady’s Home for Innocents for six weeks until I was adopted
Years later when I was looking through old family documents
I learned that I was also confirmed on May 13
but I received both sacraments on this important Marian feast day
I do not believe that any of this is coincidence
and I have often pictured the Blessed Mother wrapping her hands around me in utero
Perhaps just so I could be at Fatima that spring day in 2025
carrying an envelope of prayers from my home parish to be placed at the base of her statue
I returned home from this pilgrimage with the conviction that the Lord is calling me as he calls all baptized Christians to live and spread the message of Fatima
We all have a part to play in this story—our own personal Fatima
Console our Lord in His sufferings and offer reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
What began in a tiny village in Portugal with three small children playing in a field is just as significant for us today as it was for them all those years ago
Our Mother wants desperately for us to heed her words
so we can all live happily with her in heaven one day—but first
and we must never get “used to it,” for God never tires of sending His Mother to warn us repeatedly that He wants all to be saved—but He will always require our “yes” and active participation

Treasured and admired, photojournalist Fatima Hassouna was known by many in Gaza for her creativity, talent and most recently her documentation of Israel's war on Gaza.
"Fatima dreamed of travelling and seeing the world," her cousin
"She told me that she was saving the money she earned from her work so that she and her family could travel after the war so they could all come together to perform Umrah."
would not live to capture another moment of the war.
Early Wednesday morning, Hassouna was killed by an Israeli strike that targeted her family home in Gaza City.
"The news of her martyrdom was a huge shock to everyone
We were very sad for her because Fatima deserved to live a good life and did not deserve this end," Suwairki
added. "Fatima deserved to live a better life than this."
The photographer was killed in the attack alongside six other siblings
Her father is unaware of his children's deaths: he remains in critical condition after the attack.
is conscious though Suwairki says she is unable to comprehend her loss
but she is now in shock and is only thinking and talking about Fatima," Suwairki added
Hassouna was killed a day after French-Iranian director Sepideh Farsi's documentary Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk
in which she is featured heavily, was announced to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May
Like all Palestinians in Gaza
She had already lost several members of her family in Israeli attacks
which have killed more than 51,000 Palestinians since October 2023
Yet she was also excited about her engagement to her fiance Aziz and upcoming wedding
who lives in Egypt alongside another 22-year-old sibling suffering from quadriplegia, told MEE that he called his family around midnight shortly before the attack
"We were happy because my brother Mujahid’s health has improved
and Fatoum [her nickname] was telling us what to get her
on the occasion of her approaching wedding," he said.
Jihad saw news of shelling on their neighborhood of al-Tuffah
but his calls were not getting through.
his uncle told him that his family's home on the second floor of a five-story building was completely destroyed
six of his siblings were dead and many other relatives and neighbours were badly wounded
Jihad told MEE that Hassouna predicted her death two weeks earlier
when the nearby Dar al-Arqam school came under attack
"She was crying during the call and told me to take care of my brother and myself
and that she felt like she and her family in Gaza were going to die because of the constant bombing and the danger that exists everywhere," he said
Jihad described Hassouna as "ambitious and passionate"
She wanted to travel and participate in international photography exhibitions
She was very interested in photography," he recalled
adding that she encouraged him to improve his own photographic skills.
"She was my closest friend and would bring me anything I wanted
She helped us with household expenses and sent me money to Egypt
I am devastated and I can't even imagine that Fatima and my other siblings are gone and will never return."
Hassouna described her work as a kind of resistance against Israel's war, loading her camera with memory cards as if placing bullets in a gun. Her camera, she said in a recent interview
so that my family's stories too don't just vanish into thin air," she said
"It's not really about whether the world sees it
What matters to me is what I'm doing and how lasting the impact of my work will be
Will this work live forever? I strive for my photos to be everlasting."
Israel’s war on Gaza, which has killed over 200 Palestinian journalists since 7 October, 2023, has been the "worst ever conflict" for journalists
according to a report by the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs.
Hanin Salem, Hassouna's friend and colleague, met the photographer when they both worked for a platform called "Untold Palestine"
which seeks to portray the humanity and daily life of Palestine
"The beginning of my acquaintance with Fatima was more of a friendship than a job," she recalled
Salem found they had a shared passion in capturing their love for life.
"We were very similar in our photography style
through our love of showing the beautiful life we both love in Gaza
we tried to show the beauty of life in Gaza," she said
"a self-made fighter" and said that she was committed to helping her family.
"She has a very sweet spirit and loves life a lot
Fatima has a positive energy that affects everyone around her
Fatima would never say she was tired or complaining about life
and her work was featured in international media like the Guardian newspaper
she was invited to an exhibition in Jordan
Fatima took love as a cure to recover from the suffering of the war," Salem told MEE
"They were planning to have a wedding next week and get married
Suwairki said Hassouna wanted to "create an extraordinary home
"She had a vision for a great future," her cousin added

The advisory council for Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School has asked that the principal step down
The OLF Advisory Council voted February 12 to "respectfully recommend a leadership change at the principal level at Our Lady of Fatima School."
"The decision to issue this statement was not made lightly," a letter sent to parents
we feel it is our duty to communicate with you directly."
states that the council members have received "an extraordinary number of calls
staff and parishoners "expressing concerns and requesting change."
has received several calls from parents since that meeting
expressing concerns about the situation at the school
and we will update this story as soon as we receive one
"Given both the volume and the gravity of these concerns
believe that change is necessary and that maintaining the status quo is not in the best interest of our school's future," the statement reads
The letter encourages recipients to reach out to advisory council members
and to voice their concerns directly to the pastor and the diocese
"We ask for your continued prayers for the holiness
success and growth of Our Lady of Fatima SChool

so when she got the short-notice call at just 6-0 to move up from her usual strawweight division to face Jasmine Jasudavicius at flyweight in July
fans and pundits were excited to see what she was going to do in the UFC.
All four of her pro bouts took place in the respected Invicta FC promotion
her friend and main training partner Jessica Andrade submitted Jessica Andrade in her first UFC main event
proving that the young guns from the east coast were ready for prime time
Kline realized she had a little more work to do.

“I think it was good that the UFC didn't call me by the fourth fight,” she said
I needed to focus more and get myself together
And I feel like through the mistakes that I've made in my first couple pro fights
it really led me to who I am now as a fighter
It was definitely in God's plan for me to hold back to my seventh fight
and it was really good to go out there and kind of have a good performance even on 10 days’ notice
But I was definitely mentally ready to take the next step.”
That next step led to the first loss of Kline’s pro career
but to lose a competitive decision to the Top 15-ranked Jasudavicius up a division and on short notice was impressive
And as she preps for a Saturday matchup against Viktoriia Dudakova
her confidence hasn’t slipped in the slightest
“This will be my eighth professional fight
but this will be the first fight I've ever had eight weeks to prepare for
so I'm super excited to go in there with a full fight camp,” said Kline
“I think I've learned so much about having an eight-week camp
and I just feel like I have time to prepare now
I have time for mistakes to be made and mistakes to be fixed
It's pretty hard to do that on 10 days’ notice.”

it would look better to see two UFC belts in the gym instead of Blanchfield fighting over one

America is facing a spiritual crisis. Weekly Mass attendance has declined to just one in five Catholics
while hundreds of historic churches have been repurposed
The public square is becoming increasingly hostile to religious expression
and confusion about core Catholic teachings is spreading even among the faithful
Where can we find certainty when everything seems unstable? The answer lies in a humble field in Portugal, where over a century ago, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children
offering compelling evidence for the truth of the Catholic Faith
In 1917, when anti-Catholic forces dominated Portugal, Our Lady appeared six times to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco at the Cova da Iria in Fatima. These apparitions were preceded by three visits from the Angel of Portugal
who taught the children prayers of reparation and gave them Holy Communion
This extraordinary event was reported in secular newspapers
The anti-Catholic newspaper O Século published an article titled "Amazing
How the Sun Danced in Fatima at Noon," providing a detailed description of the event
What is particularly significant is that the Fatima events were not generically Christian; they contained elements distinctly Catholic in nature
The credibility of the Fatima events is further reinforced by the heroic testimony of the three shepherd children
they upheld their accounts even when confronted with severe persecution
the local administrator kidnapped the children and imprisoned them
threatening them with death if they did not recant their story
Each child was taken separately and told that the others had been boiled in oil for not revealing the "secret" Our Lady had entrusted to them
not one of the children wavered in his or her testimony
This testimony parallels the witness of the Apostles
Just as Christian apologists today point to the martyrdom of the Apostles as evidence for the truth of the Resurrection
arguing that people die for what they believe to be true
so too does the children's steadfastness under the threat of death provide powerful evidence for the authenticity of their experiences
Those who deny the supernatural aspect of Fatima have suggested several explanations that merit close examination
Some critics suggest that prolonged sun gazing damages the retinas of observers
leading them to perceive colors and apparent movement
Medical literature includes cases where direct sun observation causes photochemical damage that can result in visual effects
including Auguste Meesen from the Catholic University of Louvain
have attempted to recreate the experience by staring at the sun
and some noticed color changes (though not movement)
this explanation does not account for several key factors: How did witnesses who weren't looking at the sun report similar phenomena
Why did most observers experience no eye damage
unlike the documented cases of solar retinopathy
how could this bodily effect align with the children's prediction made months in advance
The most scientifically advanced explanation suggests that rare atmospheric conditions caused the event
Stanley Jaki proposed that a lens of air containing ice crystals
coupled with temperature inversions and unusual atmospheric refraction
may have created the appearance of a dancing
This theory has the advantage of potentially explaining the rapid drying of wet ground and clothing through sudden temperature changes
What are the chances that such a rare meteorological event would occur precisely at noon on October 13
exactly as predicted by three uneducated children months earlier
And why would such an event coincide with the culmination of a series of apparitions that contained numerous theological elements
Each of these explanations may account for isolated aspects of the Fatima events
yet none successfully accounts for the convergence of multiple extraordinary elements: the children's steadfast testimony despite threats and imprisonment; their precise prediction of a specific date
time and place for a public miracle; the instantaneous drying of rain-soaked clothing and ground; and consistent accounts from skeptical journalists
The totality of evidence suggests an explanation beyond the merely natural
Some Protestants have proposed demonic activity
but this raises the question: why would demons promote devotion to Christ and His Mother
Philosophers McNabb and Blado explore Fatima through "Confirmation Theory
" a method for assessing whether certain evidence enhances the likelihood of a hypothesis being true
They pose the question: Does the Miracle of Fatima become more plausible if Catholicism is true or if it isn't
we would expect exactly this type of heavenly authentication of specifically Catholic doctrines
if Protestantism were correct in rejecting Marian devotion
why would God validate these aspects through such a dramatic miracle
Their argument gains clarity through a an experiment in logic: Imagine if Martin Luther had predicted a public miracle that occurred exactly as foretold
affirming "Scripture alone" as the exclusive rule of faith
Would this not reasonably be regarded as compelling evidence for Lutheran claims
what actually occurred was that the Mother of God herself appeared
predicting and subsequently delivering a public miracle that specifically authenticated doctrines that distinguish Catholicism from Protestant traditions: her role in salvation history
The Fatima evidence serves as a unique testament to the truth of the Catholic Faith. The Miracle of the Sun was not merely a private revelation but rather a public miracle of biblical proportions
Heaven itself appears to have stamped its seal of approval on those distinctly Catholic elements that the Protestant churches have rejected
The warning is clear: turning away from God results in suffering and destruction
Our Lady appeared not merely to present a spectacle
we accelerate the day when her promised triumph becomes a reality
The message of Fatima challenges us to step out of our comfort zones and become standard-bearers of authentic Catholic Faith in a world deprived of truth
The Queen of Heaven herself has confirmed the Catholic Faith through signs and wonders
Will we now embrace it with the same courage and conviction shown by three shepherd children who would rather face death than deny the truth
are referred to by many as the greatest Marian apparitions in history
2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the devotion commonly called the Five First Saturdays
most Catholics have not done this devotion
Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is at the very core of the Fatima message
The Blessed Mother presented it as the solution to the problems of the world and to save souls from going to Hell
devotion to Mary Most Holy in the form of her Immaculate Heart first occurs in the thirteenth century with St

From the chilly Michigan lakes along the Canadian border down to the dry and sunny Texas ranch towns along the Gulf of America -- and more than 1,000 places in between – Catholics stood strong in defense of God’s marriage as one man and one woman
People endured all types of weather to bravely pray in public spaces to affirm the beauty and sanctity of traditional marriage while rejecting harmful and immoral modern redefinitions
which were organized by America Needs Fatima
were motivated by God’s instructions regarding marriage which can be found in the book of Genesis when God took Eve from Adam’s rib: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife
and they shall become one flesh” (Gen 2:24)
the rallies honored the sanctity of marriage as stated in the book of Hebrews: “Marriage should be honored by all
for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral” (13:4)
Each of the 1,067 public rallies was a unique effort to stand for traditional marriage
said “Our rosary rally was very spiritually rewarding for all participants
The rally was conducted at the courthouse front lawn
We had several inquiries from the public including one from the county magistrate
I want to grow our community rallies over time and have learned a great deal being the rally captain
serving Our Lord and Heavenly Mother is the utmost importance!”
led a rally in the same public park where they have been hosting rallies for 13 years (three times each year)
held a rally at a busy intersection between two large shopping malls with a high volume of pedestrian and car traffic
He reported that the group received favorable reactions from most people
including several men who said they really believe in what they were doing
“Everyone at the rally considered it a privilege to be there to honor Saint Joseph and God's marriage between one man and one woman,” Philip said
“We also made reparation for the multitude of sins of so-called same-sex “marriage" and abortion.”
thanked America Needs Fatima for inviting her to do this rosary rally
“It was very meaningful to do this for God Our Lord
through the Blessed Virgin Mary,” she said.Historically
public rosary rallies have caught the interest of non-Catholics and even atheists as well as firm believers
This is an important part of the purpose of visibly praying in public
reported that two non-Catholics joined their group and that “people who passed by honked their horns to show that they supported us.”Rallies are also a wonderful way for different parishes to come together to proclaim their shared faith
Joseph in Marietta to pray outside Planned Parenthood
“We prayed for traditional marriage and the unborn,” said Denis M
“We had our regular monthly rosary rally group with great weather and good public response
unchanging and inherently beautiful,” said Robert Ritchie
“Despite the secular attacks on traditional marriage
we know it is the foundation of both the family and society and should never be twisted into whatever fits the disordered passions of the day
We are profoundly thankful for the many Americans who stood up for the protection of God’s marriage as one man and one woman.”
A grave reminder of the vital importance of defending marriage came from Sister Lucia dos Santos
In a letter written just before her death in 2005
she stated that the final battle between Our Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about marriage and the family
“Whoever works for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be fought against and opposed in every way
America Needs Fatima announced the next monthly rosary rally dates will be on April 9 or April 12 to pray for the protection of our children from porn and LGBTQ books in libraries and schools. Please click here to join this effort as a rosary rally captain in your community

The Zatima season three finale picks up right where last week’s scandalous moment left off—Fatima catching Zac in bed with Leslie. The twist? Leslie is impersonating Fatima, and Zac, none the wiser, climbs right on top of her. Luckily for Leslie, Fatima keeps it cute and doesn’t go full Waiting to Exhale on her. Luckily for Zac, Fatima actually believes he was tricked. Leslie makes a quick exit, escaping completely unscathed. Growth!
After an entire season of build-up, we finally arrive at Ms. Gladys’ funeral. The pastor delivers a heartfelt sermon about the struggles of addiction and the importance of never giving up on healing, especially with faith. The choir follows up with a beautiful hymn, setting the tone for a peaceful service.
Clearly high, Jeremiah makes a dramatic scene over the closed casket, demanding to see his mother one last time. Sensing a disaster in the making, Nate and Tony step in and drag him outside. In a surprising turn, Fatima joins them, helping to calm Jeremiah down.
Crisis averted? Not quite. They return inside just in time for Fatima’s solo—How Great Thou Art—which she delivers with the choir. For a moment, it seems like the service might stay on track.
But Jeremiah isn’t done yet. Another outburst pushes the pastor too far, leading to him outright calling Jeremiah a devil—yes, in the Lord’s house—before abruptly ending the service.
The gathering at Zac and Fatima’s house starts off on a peaceful note. People are bonding, tensions seem to be settling, and for a second, it looks like the drama is over.
Jeremiah storms in with backup. Turns out, he’s in deep with some shady characters, and they’ve come to collect what he owes. Zac, Nate, and Tony aren’t having it and tell the goons to get lost. Just when it looks like they’re leaving peacefully, Jeremiah, ever the agent of chaos, throws a punch.
A full-blown brawl erupts in the middle of the house. Just when it couldn’t get worse, one of the goons pulls out a gun and fires—in Fatima’s direction.
The last shot of the episode? Zac staring into the kitchen, where Fatima was standing moments ago—but now, she’s gone.
Did she get hit? Did she duck? Did she manage to escape before everything went south?
We won’t know until Zatima (hopefully) returns for a fourth season. Stay tuned.
