Pitt is still not sure if he would like to enter a marriage again or not
The duo has been dating each other since 2022 and supposedly the couple is now facing turbulence in their bond
the 61-year-old actor’s longtime friend Geroge Clooney and his wife Amal have stepped into the matter and are trying hard to convince Brad to take the next step
“They love Ines and think Brad is a fool for making her wait,” insider claims
Amal was a little cynical about Ines’ intention back in 2024 as she thought that the 32-year-old was using the Fight Club star as a 'social climber'
“Amal thinks Ines doesn’t work hard in the jewellery business and seems like she’s trying to be someone she’s not
She considers her a social climber looking to snag a wealthy man.”

Apr 29, 2025 12:28 PM EDTMovie star George Clooney and his attorney and human rights activist wife
indicates that she may soon have issues entering the United States to visit the family's homes in California and New York.
On April 25, the Financial Times reported that a handful of senior attorneys from the United Kingdom

Somebody give George Clooney a medal. In an interview with CBS a few days ago, the actor claimed he has never, in 11 years of marriage, argued with his wife
Let’s just accept it to be true that you can be married to a lawyer for more than a decade and never find yourself in an argument
These are some of the most beautiful people in the world
They can have houses and holidays wherever they want
They can buy whatever clothes and dinners they choose
What would you have to argue about if you lived such a gilded existence
I do find myself wondering about that quite often these days
especially when I see the strange spectacle of enormously wealthy and successful celebrities arguing with strangers online
Maybe the fact this does happen is evidence that
artificial grievances can always be invented
I can dream that I would not end up like that
I would live a life surrounded only by beauty
I would buy new socks and new peach silk underwear every day
I would spend every minute of my days smiling calmly
And if I did run into problems with my partner
I would simply employ someone – let’s call them a relationship tension expert – to work things out on my behalf
argue with our partners with some degree of regularity
But I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing
As long as nobody is using physical force or other forms of intimidation or manipulation
I think an argument can be a very productive tool in a relationship
As a straight woman living in a society that tends to teach men from a young age that household chores are beneath them
I have always advocated for arguing ferociously about chores and tidiness from the very start of a relationship
An unwiped counter should be met with a great tirade about not feeling understood and loved and having your personhood squashed and so on
No sane person would rather have an argument like this than wipe the counter
if you have this argument on a grand enough scale
or wipe the counter and clean the fridge shelves and put someone else’s underwear in the wash basket for ever
I made my choice long ago and never looked back
View image in fullscreen‘In general
if you have had the same argument again and again
you will have it again and again and again.’ Photograph: Image Source/AlamyThere are other things I have learned about arguments in relationships over the years
If you tell your partner calmly that something is annoying or upsetting and they continue to do it anyway
Another thing: you can never have a productive argument with someone when you don’t agree on the basic facts of what happened
And I don’t mean how people felt about things – I mean if one person says the car crashed and the other says it didn’t
And you should never agree that you saw a car crash when you didn’t
Agreeing with someone else’s fantasy to placate them is a very dangerous thing to do
I learned a simple strategy for this a little while ago
Now I just say: “We are living in different realities
We cannot have a productive conversation about this until that changes.”
you will have it again and again and again
or one of you can accept that things won’t change
And arguing about something for ever is a bad option
I am a strong advocate for making your red lines known clearly and then walking away if they are crossed
I can’t have my relationship tension expert or my daily fresh silk underwear
but I can have a relatively peaceful life all the same

Amal Clooney may be at risk of US sanctions following her involvement in a panel that recommended war crimes charges against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
The high-profile British human rights lawyer, wife of Hollywood star George Clooney, sat on the expert legal panel that advised International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan on evidence from the Gaza conflict
Clooney publicly confirmed the panel’s unanimous recommendation for charges against both Netanyahu and then-defence minister Yoav Gallant
she declared there were “reasonable grounds to believe” that the two men had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity
including “starvation as a method of warfare
Writing on the Clooney Foundation for Justice website, she said: “The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court asked me to assist him with evaluating evidence of suspected war crimes and crimes against humanity in Israel and Gaza
“I served on this panel because I believe in the rule of law and the need to protect civilian lives
“The law that protects civilians in war was developed more than 100 years ago and it applies in every country in the world regardless of the reasons for a conflict.”

The wife of celebrity George Clooney could reportedly be barred from entering the United States because she recommended arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in her capacity as legal counsel to the International Criminal Court.
was one of several senior legal counsels to the ICC who advised the court to issue an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu
The recommendation was made on the basis that the Israeli leader had committed war crimes in Gaza
including using starvation as a method of warfare
during his country’s fight against Hamas terrorists.
Amal has now been warned by Britain’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office that they are at risk of sanctions by the Trump administration, according to a Financial Times report
The alleged sanctions follow the United States’s long history of criticizing the court
The Washington Examiner reached out to the White House for comment but did not receive a response
The news comes after Amal Clooney sat on a panel that recommended lead ICC prosecutor Karim Khan issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The ICC issued the warrant in November 2024
leading Israel to condemn “the broken & immoral international system
which encourages terrorists and radical regimes
while tying the hands of democracies seeking to defend themselves.”
the Biden administration operated under the policy that the ICC did not have jurisdiction over the war in Gaza
Then-President Joe Biden issued a strong statement condemning the court for its “outrageous” decision and implying there was “equivalence” between Israel and Hamas.
A host of countries belonging to the ICC have declined to follow through with the directive to arrest a sitting world leader
After President Donald Trump came to power in January
through an executive order issuing the sanctions
The court had “engaged in illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel” after saying the Israeli leaders should answer charges that included “murder
and other inhumane acts,” Trump said.
His alleged move against Amal Clooney comes after she posted on the Clooney Foundation for Justice website that she served on the ICC panel “because I believe in the rule of law and the need to protect civilian lives.”
“The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court asked me to assist him with evaluating evidence of suspected war crimes and crimes against humanity in Israel and Gaza,” she wrote, per the Telegraph.

but I’ve been dying to read Amal El-Mohtar’s solo debut since the moment I first heard about it
I’ve consumed every bit of short fiction of hers I could find
and reread This Is How You Lose the Time War enough that I know its ebbs and flows by heart
Her short fiction has always been gorgeous and masterfully crafted
The thought that we would soon be blessed with something longer has long been a wish of mine
I’ve been working as a book critic long enough now (more than a decade) that writing reviews usually comes pretty easily
I often start writing it in my head while I’m reading
so that by the time I finish the book I know what themes I want to talk about and how I plan to structure the review
where I turn the final page with no idea how to write the review
Sometimes it’s because the book is so bad or I disliked it so thoroughly that I can’t think of anything positive to say
the book is mediocre at best and my struggle is finding a way to talk about liking something despite it not being done with any particular craft or uniqueness
And sometimes my writer’s block hits because the book is so goddamn good that I know whatever I write about it will never adequately convey how much you need to drop everything and read this book right now so I can have someone else to flail about it with
The River Has Roots is solidly in that third camp.

This act of violence is where the fairy tale feel really comes into play
And by “fairy tale” I don’t mean one of those cute modern versions where everyone lives happily ever after but the old kind
the kind where death and suffering are standard and being a good person doesn’t spare you tragedy
The text is poetic and lyrical. It reads like a fairy tale that is both true and legendary at the same time. If I had to compare El-Mohtar to anyone, it would be Susanna Clarke; the novella gave me real The Wood at Midwinter vibes
Part of the story is told as if you’re there watching the sisters like an omniscient god and part of it has the feel of a grandparent or beloved auntie reading you a bedtime story

And we just couldn't be happier."

And then that younger woman is obviously a gold digger
and she obviously doesn't even care and is just like OK
I hope you die and I'm gonna take all your money.'"However
she's since had a change of heart."Now that I'm in that relationship and people will say those things about me regularly
Why was I so judgmental about other people who are literally just finding love?'" she added
"And maybe their love looks different from you
but it doesn't make it not valid."
"But I knew that this was an incredibly special person.”
The Alfie actress and the Lift actor know not everyone understands their relationship. “I would imagine it would be complicated for anyone to get their head around," Oli put it to Vogue while referencing their 15-year age gap
"but there’s been nothing but love and joy.” And frankly

"I certainly have never been able to."

The model also doesn't feel the need to deliver a fast and furious response to any critics of her 20-year age gap with the actor."His knowledge and strength are really inspiring and attractive, and that can come with a man who's had a bit of time," she told Glamour in 2013
"We have a connection that has nothing to do with age
but if you have someone at home who thinks you're the greatest person in the world
As for how the American Idol alum feels about any judgment towards her nearly 35-year age gap with the composer? Probably so over it."I totally get the judgment initially, but things are never as they appear," Katharine said on Dr. Berlin's Informed Pregnancy Podcast in 2023
"And I'm in love with our love story
and that's all that matters is that I'm in love with the love story."
“It’s not something that I ever thought would ever happen
you know I thought 30-year-olds were too young for me.” And while Kristin said she understands how “it looks to the outside world,” she insisted Mark is “not a typical 24-year-old” and that there’s more to a person than their birth year
“I really think age is just a number,” she continued
“It’s what you’ve been through in your life
There are just so many factors that go into maturity other than age.”But months later
“I just know long-term he needs to experience life,” she said on an October episode of her podcast
I started to feel the age a bit just with life experience
I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened for me in between then
This is when you find yourself and he needs to be able to do that.”Still
she called their romance "the best relationship" of her life and expressed hope that Mark will realize their split was for the best."I know that one day he will look back and he will understand it," she added

Age is only a number for the Bachelor alum, who is 18 years older than his wife. As he put it during a March 2025 episode of his The Viall Files podcast
Amal and George Clooney have revealed they never
Appearance: A picture of eternal marital bliss
You can be married to someone without arguing
Just because some marriages are unceasingly stressful and combative
Name me one person – just one person – who doesn’t argue with their spouse. Oh, that’s easy. George Clooney
Cobblers. It’s true. Two years ago, George and Amal Clooney revealed to CBS Mornings that they have never had an argument, describing their marriage as “the easiest thing in our lives by far”. Clooney was recently asked to update everyone on the matter, and his response was, “We’re trying to find something to fight about.”
So the secret to a happy married life is to pick a perfect partner with whom you get along beautifully
And also be a multimillionaire who doesn’t need to work for a living while living a life of luxury in several giant homes around the world
I just don’t think it’s possible to live with someone without arguing
Maybe the Clooneys implement some of the tactics advocated by other relentlessly happy couples
Oh yeah? Like what? Perhaps they take five-second breaks to reset whenever they feel tension starting to build
What else? Maybe they follow the advice of a 2019 American study that found happy couples tend to work together on fixing solvable issues in their relationship
in order to better equip themselves when larger problems arise
though – isn’t fighting good for a relationship
In 2002, a study found that couples who routinely avoided bringing up certain topics in a relationship often reported greater dissatisfaction than those who did not
So you’re saying that arguments are a sign that both spouses still care about the relationship
Within reason, yes. Just look at us. All we ever do is fight. I suppose you’re right. And we’ve been together for 33 years
So what you’re saying is that, while George and Amal Clooney might seem like the perfect married couple … They’d struggle to write a pithy 450-word column explaining contemporary fads several times a week. And isn’t that really the most important thing?
Do say: “It is possible to be married without arguing.”
The human rights lawyer and actor have seemingly embraced a stateside winter in New York City
Amal dressed for a chilly night in the quintessential winter staple: a Max Mara coat. She wore a calf-length light gray coat with rounded lapels, which she layered over a similarly colored knit mock neck minidress. (When it comes to fans of the groutfit, she’s in good company.) To keep her legs warm
Amal added a pair of low-denier black tights and a pair of thigh-high suede pointy-toe stiletto boots
While the neutral palette and knits are a far cry from Amal’s summer wardrobe filled with bright prints and wedge heels, some aspects of her style are year-round. Her love of oversized sunglasses remains consistent, as does her fondness for Stella McCartney. Over the summer, she wore a bohemian, multi-patterned minidress from McCartney’s resort 2015 collection
Amal carried the British designer’s Ryder bag—a black double-handle faux-leather purse with a distinctive bean shaped top
While she may be dressing for much colder temperatures than a summer in Lake Como
