A sinkhole that is reportedly two meters deep has formed on the E4 highway outside of Krokek
according to Swedish Radio P4 Östergötland
several drivers alerted the police to the hole
which developed in one of the southward lanes near the exit to Krokek
The lane has now been closed and police are there to direct traffic
but there are long lines on the E4 moving south
The police's press spokesperson Thomas Agnevik says: "There's a chance this could take all evening and maybe all night to fix."
