Erik Swanson Chittick, 36, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 19th at 4:00 PM at the Black Eagle Community Center, 2232 Smelter Ave, Black Eagle.
Born March 3, 1986, in San Antonio, Texas to Randy J. Chittick and Laura Szymarek Nybro, Erik was raised in San Antonio, graduating from Churchill High School in 2004. He worked at Whataburger for two years before joining the U. S. Air Force. He became a firefighter and served for 12 years, until his retirement. He met Alesha Mateo while stationed in Great Falls. They married October 17, 2011, in Dover, Delaware, remaining together until his untimely passing.
Erik liked the great outdoors, enjoying camping, shooting, fishing, and kayaking. He enjoyed RC cars, collected coins and historical old war photos. He loved playing board games, puzzles and Xbox trash talking with his son and watching television series.
“It’s all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits!”
For Fall, Nybro shed the bucolic pastel-striped pleasures of his last show for a rhapsodic three-part collection inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen.” Despite the fairy-tale fodder, though, the clothes felt decidedly earthbound, and not always in the wisest of ways; they included drapey health goth hoodies, a puzzling series of roughly knotted dresses, and even more unlikely, face-obscuring sweats.

The receiving terminal of the Baltic Pipe project located at Varde in Western Jutland
has been put into operation and is now receiving gas from Norway
The terminal was put into operation on 1 November at 6 a.m
so far with half of the total capacity (6,700 MWh/h)
This means that Norwegian gas now enters the Baltic Pipe pipeline and can be sent on to Poland via the Danish gas system
The Nybro part was supposed to be commissioned on 1 October, but Energinet had to postpone the commissioning three times due to technical challenges
Poland has been supplied with gas through Baltic Pipe since 1 October from the European gas system and from the Danish part of the North Sea
Full commissioning of the terminal is expected to take place later this year
“It’s a very important milestone for us that we have now succeeded in getting the plant in Nybro up and running
Many colleagues in and outside Energinet have worked hard to make it happen
and we were not pleased when we previously had to acknowledge that we were unable to reach the announced dates,” said Torben Brabo
director of International Relations in Energinet
Energinet said that the Baltic Pipe project is now near completion
The pipelines in the North Sea and in the Little Belt have been pressure tested and have all the necessary permits for commissioning
The section across Zealand is ready, and the gas pipeline has been pressurized. The sections across Jutland and Funen, which were delayed when the Danish Environmental and Food Appeals Board in May 2021 repealed the environmental permit from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency
Final work is still needed at the compressor station in Everdrup before it can be put into full operation
The commissioning of Baltic Pipe with a full capacity of up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas is scheduled for the end of November

COPENHAGEN, Denmark — The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has approved INEOS E&P’s revised plan for the expansion and extraction of hydrocarbons of the HP/HT Hejre Field in the North Sea.
It has also granted INEOS an exemption from the obligation to connect to the Danish oil pipe pursuant to section 2(3) of the Danish Pipeline Act.
The application for development and operation of the field includes an environmental impact assessment for the project in license 5/98.
Construction activities outlined in the revised development plan are due to begin next year with first production expected by the end of 2027. The anticipated oil and gas volumes up to 2045 will account for just over 7% of output from all Danish North Sea fields over the same period.
The approval covers installation of an unmanned platform module on the existing steel Hejre jacket, a new 30-km-long multiphase pipeline and a supply line to the Syd Arne platform, and a new inlet module on Syd Arne's eastern wellhead platform.
INEOS plans production through three wells, all of which have already been drilled. All production will be processed at Syd Arne along with volumes from the Blackbird and South Arne fields. Oil will be transferred to the Syd Arne storage tank on the seabed and exported from there using the existing buoy load system to tankers.
Gas will be routed through the Syd Arne-Nybro pipeline to the onshore plant in Nybro, for onward passage through Energinet's transmission pipeline network.
In 2011 the DEA approved a plan for the expansion and operation of Hejre, but there have been subsequent delays to the project, notably technical and quality challenges related to construction of the Hejre platform, which led to interruption of the work in 2016.
So the field has only been partly developed and has not yet entered production.
Post-2016, the licensees reassessed the reserves and prepared an alternative technical proposal for completing the development, with a shorter production period compared to the original estimates from 2011.
Hejre is 300 km from Denmark’s west coast, with the oil located more than 5,000 m beneath the seabed, the deepest for any Danish oil field.

The creation of a new national pipeline company is one of the most critical steps in transforming China’s gas market
Europe and Russia may each consume more gas
China is the world’s most important gas market
as demand stalls in so many parts of the world
China’s gas demand has exceeded expectation
Low prices have encouraged LNG imports and encouraged additional demand
H1 demand growth came in at 4% year-on-year
hugely impressive given the severity of China’s lockdown through much of Q1
Critically, the structure of China’s gas market is also changing. On 23 July, PetroChina and Sinopec Corp - historically the dominant players through the value chain - announced details of pipeline asset sales to the new national pipeline company
LNG terminals will also be transferred to the new company
These moves reveal the extent of China’s gas ambitions
The government is now looking to dramatically accelerate the pace of market liberalisation by separating gas sales from transportation
The move will encourage greater competition
attract more capital and stimulate the development of the domestic gas network
the asset sale to PipeChina has moved quickly in recent weeks
With the deal expected to close in September
PetroChina and Sinopec Corp will receive cash and equity ownership in exchange for transferring most of their domestic pipeline assets
The agreement creates the world’s largest gas pipeline company
a giant with equity capitalisation of over US$70 billion
Ownership will be split between PetroChina (30%)
Sinopec Corp and its midstream subsidiary (14%)
CNOOC Gas & Power (3%) and seven state-owned financial institutions (53%)
The transfers will also end PetroChina and Sinopec’s near-duopolistic control of China’s midstream sector
PipeChina’s mission statement will be to manage China’s transmission network
drive connectivity across the country and support growth in gas demand
The inclusion of LNG terminals is important
giving third-party access to critical gas-importing infrastructure
China’s emerging LNG buyers must be delighted
ambitious and a positive step for China’s gas sector
PipeChina can now accelerate market liberalisation by separating gas sales from transportation
Speaking to my colleague Xueke Wang in our China gas team
she believes that the move will kick-start a new infrastructure investment cycle – critical for to drive greater gas use
the deal is “China’s most significant energy market reform in decades”
The coronavirus pandemic has slowed the pace of China’s gas demand growth in the short-term
But the fundamentals of long-term demand growth remain strong
and improved gas affordability all support growth over the next two decades
PipeChina will support this through continued investment in infrastructure
puts it: “The Chinese government clearly sees gas as a destination fuel for its very distinct brand of energy transition”
The PipeChina asset deal could also alter the supply mix
PetroChina will face rising competition in eastern coastal markets for its Central Asian supplies as domestic production and rising LNG imports target the region
The company may shift the focus of Central Asian sales to China’s less developed western provinces
closer to the border and benefiting from lower delivered costs
The deal may also encourage PetroChina to delay additional volumes from Central Asia and slow investment in connecting pipelines
potentially stalling the start-up of Line D
Russian gas could be a notable beneficiary
Pipe supply from East Siberia will be more competitive than Central Asian gas into coastal China
with upside depending on PetroChina’s gas marketing strategy
With the Power of Siberia 2 and Altai pipeline options remaining under discussion
Russia could realistically account for half of China’s pipeline imports by 2040
China still lacks market pricing for gas and its nascent gas hubs offer too little liquidity
The creation of PipeChina should improve third-party access to infrastructure essential for serving customers
China’s gas ambitions are becoming increasingly clear

Soltech Energy Solutions is installing a 12MW/12MWh battery storage unit in Sweden for municipal energy firm Nybro Energi
set to come online before the end of the year
The clean energy solutions arm of energy firm Soltech Group will deploy the one-hour system for Nybro Energi
The project is set to reach commercial operation date (COD) in the fourth quarter of 2023
a spokesperson for Soltech told Energy-Storage.news
The battery energy storage system (BESS) will mainly provide frequency regulation services to transmission system operator (TSO) Svenska Kraftnät
but in future may also provide power to the grid during times of high demand
Its CEO Håkan Dahlgren commented on the announcement: “We are among the first energy companies in Sweden to invest in a large-scale battery storage of this kind
We see there is a market for these solutions and there will be a need to store energy and to stabilize the grid
when we are getting more and more renewable sources.”
In September it revealed another project at a solar PV plant but did not reveal the buyer or details about the project size
only saying it was a SEK 15 million order (US$1.4 million)
The country’s market has been picking up lately with frequency new project announcements
as BESS projects increasingly provide the flexibility services which were previously exclusively done by Sweden’s hydroelectric portfolio
“We are very happy to help Nybro Energi with a tech solution that stabilizes the regional electricity grid
The battery storage will contribute with frequency services
cost optimization and will cut the power peaks that the increased electrification brings
This is a scalable future investment that will create great benefits onwards,” said Rickard Lantz
COPENHAGEN SPRING 2017

COPENHAGEN, Denmark — TotalEnergies has restarted production from the Tyra hub in the Danish North Sea
following a redevelopment of the facilities
the hub will produce 5.7 MMcm/d of gas and 22,000 bbl/d
making Denmark again self-sufficient in gas and also a net exporter to other countries in Europe
TotalEnergies operates the Tyra Field on behalf of its Danish Underground Consortium partners BlueNord and Nordsøfonden
“The new Tyra leverages state-of-the-art digital solutions and technological innovations to produce more efficiently and with 30% lower greenhouse-gas emissions than the former facilities,” said Nicolas Terraz
president of Exploration & Production with TotalEnergies
Gas production was suspended in September 2019 for the overhaul project
which involved decommissioning of existing facilities and commissioning of eight new platform topsides
About 98.5% of the materials recovered from the removed installations have been reused or recycled
Gas from the Tyra hub is exported to Europe through two pipelines to Nybro in Denmark and Den Helder in the Netherlands.
the redevelopment will also unlock gross reserves of more than 200 MMboe
The focus now is on bringing the Tyra fields and the Valdemar
with an expected ramp-up period of four months

We speak with Eriksson’s new coaches about the type of player they have received from the SHL
Filip Eriksson wasn’t selected for the Swedish World Juniors team
but it didn’t stop him from being selected as our European player of the month for December as he played a very solid game for the SHL-leading Växjö Lakers
He was also selected as January’s player of the month
His play when on loan to the Nybro Vikings in Sweden’s second tier was of a more offensive variety
Eriksson didn’t get many shifts per game with Växjö and it has been difficult to gauge the development
Especially because he missed the World Juniors
it is difficult for North American readers to understand the development path as it is very different from the North American way of managing a prospect
In order to get a better understanding of a loan to HockeyAllsvenskan and not keeping him in the Lakers U20 team
Eyes On The Prize turned to Växjö’s assistant general manager
to understand the development path of the sixth-round pick (165th overall) who seems to have fallen quite a bit during the draft because of the hand/wrist injury that he suffered when playing in his second SHL game
Upon the return of some of his teammates from the World Juniors
Eriksson found himself on a Växjö team overflowing with talent
As he needed playing time in order to develop properly
Växjö loaned him out to Nybro in HockeyAllsvenskan rather than demote him to the Växjö U20 team
and he has excelled on the first or second line
“This is a good opportunity for Filip to play important games in a big role,” Hall says in regard to the loan
“Nybro was a good fit because of its proximity to Växjö [an hour by car]
Now with the opportunity to get more minutes and be on the power play and penalty kill
He’s eligible to play for both teams for the duration of this season.”
Eriksson has played in a few different roles in Växjö
but struggled more as a winger in the SHL than a centre
something that isn’t always the case for rookie players
It is interesting that he projects better as a centre in a higher league
but is still performing well as a winger in Sweden’s second-tier pro league
“We really like the way Filip is developing and taking strides
He will get better with physical development and more pro experience and this is part of that
[It has been a] good year so far for Filip
He has shown glimpses of what he can do offensively both in the SHL and the Champions League.”
Växjö is clearly happy with the development in Växjö
but the loan to Nybro can help him in many ways with a chance to play a different role and expand on skills that haven’t always been visible in the SHL
“A bit of a learning curve is expected for a young player
I think he has stepped in and showed that he is a very smart player and you can always count on him doing the right things for the team
He is also a very confident player who does not only play just to survive his shifts
trying to make plays and be a positive factor with the puck to link plays and create.”
In regard to his play in HockeyAllsvenskan
“He’s been creating chances every game and is playing with confidence
so he has a chance to keep up a good offensive level
so to be able to play big minutes there and produce is a good indicator
Hopefully a good boost for the rest of the season and his continued development.”
Jörgen Jönsson expanded on Eriksson’s development after Växjö’s game against Rögle on Thursday night
“The huge step he’s taking right at the start
He’s showing that he’s learning fast
he’s eager to learn and eager to practise
I think he’s a mature young kid who really … when I asked him
‘Do you want to go to Nybro?’ he said
I want to play a lot of hockey.’ And you have to love that.”
