a project of the holding company UFuture owned by entrepreneur Vasily Khmelnitsky
does not plan to revise its strategic development plan
which envisages attracting 30 resident companies and $250 million in investments by 2030
according to IP Belaya Tserkov CEO Andrey Ropitsky
“If there are no ‘black swans’
and we do not plan to revise our strategy,” he told Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of ‘Industrial Evolution: Manufacturing Drives the Economy’ at IP ‘Bila Tserkva’ on Thursday
the commissioning of an industrial building for a future plant for the production of concrete joints and composite structures was announced on Thursday
and a plant of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of everyday goods
“Three more companies have purchased land from us this year and are already requesting the construction of networks
We are talking to them about commercial terms and conditions and support the construction of their plants
and the second phase of the Virastar plant (a manufacturer of high-altitude equipment for construction work – IF-U) is also under construction
Ropitsky did not specify which investors would be attracted to the park
but added that it is now easier to attract investors because the park already has ”something to show them.”
“At first it’s difficult because there’s nothing to show and no one trusts you
But when someone has considered the possibility and then I tell them that the plot or building is no longer available
So it’s much easier to sell now,” Ropitsky said
he clarified that of the two parks (Bila Tserkva and Bila Tserkva 2)
the first is already almost full (36 hectares) — all plots have been sold
“This means that we only have 12 hectares left to develop
which are either already under construction
we will do this within the next two to three years
We have already started organizing the second park,” said the CEO of IP ”Bila Tserkva.”
IP “Bila Tserkva 2,” with an area of 34.7 hectares
has already received state co-financing for external networks and signed contracts with contractors
just like in the first park,” Ropitsky noted
He emphasized that in order to attract small and medium-sized businesses to the park
small buildings of up to 2-3 thousand square meters are being built
”which can be divided into lots and rented out to customers by the thousand square meters.”
Among the problems for the development of industrial parks, he mentioned, in particular, the lack of labor, the absence of materials necessary for construction on the local market
“We have now launched a vocational training project
a center that will quickly train people who are needed by our clients
And we have already started designing such a building on a neighboring site,” he said
IP ‘Bila Tserkva’ and ‘Bila Tserkva 2’ were included in the Register of Industrial Parks in 2018
The developed territory of IP “Bila Tserkva” has attracted 15 residents
as well as the logistics depot “Nova Poshta,” the grain storage complex “Volytsia-Agro,” the Plank Electrotechnic electrical fittings factory
a manufacturer of high-altitude equipment for construction work

russian occupiers used a North Korean-made ballistic missile during a massive strike on Ukraine on July 31
The launch was recorded from russian territory toward Bila Tserkva
fragments with markings were found that match previously identified remains of KN-23 ballistic missiles
These missiles were used by russia for strikes on Ukraine at the beginning of 2024
It should be noted that the last recorded instance of russia using North Korean-made KN-23 ballistic missiles for strikes on Ukraine was observed on February 27
it appears that the russian invaders resumed using long-range missile weaponry from North Korea after a five-month hiatus
the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that specialists examined the debris of 21 out of 50 North Korean ballistic missiles that russia had launched at Ukraine by that time
It was noted that more than half of the KN-23 missiles lost their programmed flight trajectory during flight and likely exploded in the air
as the launches of these missiles were recorded

the authorities have periodically tried to launch this project
Volodarska and Malovilshanska communities of Bila Tserkva district
are trying to prevent the resumption of titanium ore mining at the Tarasivske deposit
This is reported by the KyivVlada publication
The journalists said that despite numerous protests in the past
in March the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine included the deposit in the List of subsoil of strategic and critical importance to be used through auctions
It has a high potential for titanium ore production
Local residents opposed the development of the deposit because of the risks to the environment, public health, and the ecosystem of the region and the Ros River. Throughout March, communities collected signatures to remove the field from the List of Subsoil Areas of Strategic Importance. In particular, the Volodarska community alone managed to collect more than 6.2 thousand signatures
The main reasons cited by residents include the following:
“Given the large area of the deposit and significant volumes of open-pit mining and processing of ore sands
the negative impact on the environment and human life and health can be very significant and irreparable: the ingress of ore sands into groundwater during their extraction and the spraying of these sands into the air,” the community's appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources states
The Kyiv Regional Council sided with the public
Its deputies called such actions of the state during the war “a dangerous and irresponsible initiative”
communities and deputies sent an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada
the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine against the extraction of zircon-rutile-ilmenite ores in the district
They also sent an official request to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine and other agencies
The Ministry of Environment explained the inclusion of the field in the List by the requirements of the Ukraine Facility Plan and defense needs
Officials noted that titanium ores are recognized as a critical raw material for both Ukraine and partner countries
And since Ukraine has one of the world's largest reserves of these resources
their effective use is a matter of increasing defense capabilities and securing foreign exchange earnings from exports
The government has assured that an environmental assessment will be carried out before any production begins
The State Service of Subsoil Geology of Ukraine reminded that since 2019
the need to coordinate the transfer of subsoil for use with regional councils has been canceled
communities have lost the ability to influence decisions on the use of subsoil on their territory
The service also noted that the development of the Tarasivske field was approved by the Kyiv City Council back in 2007
The Ministry of Economy noted that the inclusion of the Tarasivske field in the List does not mean an automatic start of production
Officials say that before any activity can be started
it will be necessary to undergo an environmental impact assessment (EIA)
obtain a permit for subsoil use through an auction
and obtain an EIA conclusion on the permissibility of the activity
As EcoPolitic wrote at the end of March, the government changed the algorithm for determining the price of selling special permits for subsoil use
Officials say that clear and stable pricing rules reduce the risk of sudden changes and create an investment-friendly environment

Beekeepers in the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region discovered a mass death of bees
beekeepers have lost almost all of their insects
One of the assumptions is that the temperature has dropped
RegioNews reports about it Espresso: Bila Tserkva.
The entire apiary was covered in dead bees," said Viktor Kvasha
and this is up to 20 thousand individuals in each
The man suspected that the farmers were poisoning
but that day the equipment in the field was not working
Victor learned that over time other beekeepers also lost insects
"First I called the head of the beekeepers' association in Bila Tserkva
The police arrived and recorded the incident and announced that there would be an investigation," adds Victor
It also became known that bees have also died in all the surrounding villages of the district
tests were conducted on the apiaries and the insects were healthy
The head of the Fursiv community was also informed
as they believe that this is an ecological disaster and not just poison
Laboratory tests of both insects and soil are currently being conducted
Since the tragedy has taken on large-scale proportions
the local authorities have decided to compensate the beekeepers for the cost of the tests

Iran-made "kamikaze drones" have bombarded a city near Ukraine's capital of Kyiv
Russian forces attacked Bila Tserkva -- around 90 kilometres from Kyiv -- with six drone strikes on Tuesday night
the Ukrainian politician wrote on Telegram
The Kyiv region had largely been removed from fighting in recent weeks as Ukraine's army stepped up its counteroffensive in the east and south
was struck by Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones
according to regional governor Oleksiy Kuleba
The weapons have been dubbed "kamikaze" drones as they are designed to be flown directly into enemy targets
Iran is reported to have sold hundreds of drones to Russia to support its war against Ukraine
the enemy attacked Bila Tserkva with kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 type
A total of 6 hits and explosions," Kuleba wrote on Telegram
the liquidation of the consequences of shelling is ongoing
57 rescuers and 15 units of emergency services are working on the spot
"I ask the residents not to ignore air warning signals and safety rules."
Russia has increasingly been using suicide drones in recent weeks
posing a new challenge to Ukrainian defences
at least five civilians have been killed and eight others have been wounded by the latest Russian shelling
the Russian forces shelled eight towns and villages
a burial ground for civilians was found and the bodies of four civilians were discovered
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported a "fast and powerful" advance of troops in the south of the country
He spoke after Russia annexed four regions of Ukraine -- around 15% of its territory -- following so-called referendums that have been dismissed as shams by most of the international community
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws formally absorbing Donetsk
The United Nations has said that the annexation of Ukrainian territory by Russia will only exacerbate Moscow's human rights violations and add to the "untold suffering and devastation" inflicted on Ukrainians
"The Ukrainian army is carrying out a pretty fast and powerful advance in the south of our country as part of the current defence operation," Zelenskyy said
"Dozens of settlements have already been liberated from the Russian sham referendum this week alone."
Kyiv’s military said on Wednesday they have recaptured more villages in the southern Kherson region as a part of their massive counteroffensive effort
Operational Command South said that the Ukrainian flag has been raised above Liubymivka
Military maps shown on Tuesday by the Russian defence ministry indicate a major retreat by forces from Dudchany
Moscow's troops also appear to have left almost the entire eastern bank of the Oskil River
the last area of the Kharkiv region they still control
A Russian-installed official in Kherson insisted on Wednesday that Ukrainian advances in the region have been halted and that it is "impossible" for Kyiv to enter the city
Zelenskyy added in his address that he had signed a presidential decree "designating null and void all decrees of the President of the Russian Federation and all acts adopted to implement these decrees for attempted annexation of our territory from 2014 until today."
The Ukrainian president spoke after a phone call with US counterpart Joe Biden where he thanked Washington D.C
The United States has announced a new $625 million (€629 million) security assistance package for Ukraine
which includes artillery systems with ammunition and armoured vehicles
Moscow has warned that the US's decision to send more military aid to Ukraine "increases the danger of a direct military clash" between Russia and the West
The borders of the territories Russia is claiming still remain unclear
but the Kremlin has vowed to defend Russia’s territory — including the newly absorbed regions — with any means
the Kremlin promised to retake territories in the annexed regions
assuring that they will be "forever with Russia"
Russian media also report that the Kremlin plans to supervise operations of Europe's largest nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia after formally annexing the region
Russia captured the plant in early March shortly after invading Ukraine
while Ukrainian staff continued to operate it
Both Moscow and Kyiv have since accused each other of shelling the facility
The plant's last operational reactor was shut down last month
"The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is now on the territory of the Russian Federation and
should be operated under the supervision of our relevant agencies," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said on Wednesday
the head of Ukraine’s nuclear power company Energoatom has claimed that he will take over managing the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant after its director was first kidnapped and then released by Russian forces who occupy the facility
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is reportedly set to visit Moscow in the coming days to discuss the situation at the plant

The document being circulated online purported to be a Ukrainian draft notice is a fake
This document does not bear any similarity to an official Ukrainian draft notice
it contains the wrong category names and does not contain pertinent information that is part of a genuine draft notice
The term military commissariat is repeatedly used in the fake document
as of 2021 Ukrainian enlistment centers are called Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers
An analysis of the seal used in the document in question also shows that it was doctored and is not the seal of the Bila Tserkva Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center
Russian propagandist Evgeny Lisitsin along with pro-Kremlin Telegram channels and publications such as Ukraina.ru are disseminating a photograph of an alleged “draft summons” issued for a 16 year old boy
“It’s time for mothers and the everyone who has remained to go to the Maidan, like we did in 2014, and overthrow this Ukrainian junta, otherwise children will be returned to their families in plastic bags. Zelensky will fight to the last Ukrainian, including women, I’m sure of this” (punctuation preserved – editor’s note), Lisitsin writes on his Telegram channel
According to the photograph of the document
this summons was allegedly issued on January 8
A closer analysis of this document indicates that we are dealing with a fake
First, the so-called summons in the photograph is not at all like the official Ukrainian summonses. In accordance with a parliamentary decision of December 30, 2022, new rules for military registration were introduced, including a new summons form
The form being circulated has fields to be filled in that do not correspond to the information required on an actual draft summons form
such as a list of document which the conscript must present at a draft center
All inaccuracies are highlighted in yellow in the photo below
The draft summons used in this fake does not even match the form used before the introduction of the new forms on December 30
The stamp featured on the fake document includes a numerical code – 09620951, this is a unique identification number of a legal entity listed in Ukraine’s Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations. The number listed on this document belongs to the Kirovohrad Unified City Military Commissariat
Kirovohrad was renamed Kropyvnyckyi in 2016
doctors prepare a bomb shelter for the casualties to arrive on their doorstep
Bila Tserkva’s No2 hospital was emptied of patients and its cold-war-era bomb shelter filled with beds to prepare for the horror its doctors have watched overwhelm medics in other cities
The few dozen patients they have taken in since war broke out are harbingers of the storm to come
One lost an eye to an explosion as he chatted with friends
Another faces months of recovery after a sniper bullet shattered his thigh bone
A third interviewed by the Observer was so badly wounded by a shell that forming a short sentence leaves him breathless with exhaustion
They were brought here because treating their injuries was extremely complicated
or because the hospitals treating them closer to the front line were under fire
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been marked by intense attacks on civilian infrastructure
The World Health Organization says it has verified at least “43 attacks on healthcare” – hospitals
or other infrastructure – since the war began
it is one of the biggest in the Kyiv region
“We only take emergency patients and war injured – all scheduled operations have been cancelled since the start of the war,” she said
The charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is helping it and other clinics to get ready
including areas in Syria that were also attacked by Russian airstrikes
Natalie Roberts, a British doctor working for MSF in Ukraine
we can’t get in to besieged cities [such as Mariupol]
but at least we can help prepare other places to handle these events
View image in fullscreenStaff move patients when the air raid siren sounds – some patients prefer to stay on trolleys in corridors to minimise disruption
Photograph: Anton Skyba/The Observer“They aren’t asking us for staff the way they were in Syria
Here they are asking for knowledge – how to manage war wounded
how to manage when you get 100 patients at once
It has a lot of doctors and other medical staff
one of the nurses treating injured civilians in Bila Tserkva
said: “We can’t leave because we are key workers
and we don’t want to leave because we are Ukrainians.”
In large cities there are several hospitals
others set up in a parallel military medical network
being on the front line can prove overwhelming
doctors used to having the latest diagnostic tools such as magnetic resonance imaging and laboratories
have found themselves trying to treat patients under fire with no electricity and dwindling supplies of drugs
hospitals can be flooded with patients for days
Sometimes surgery must be aimed simply at keeping people alive so they can move on to other victims
rather than treating every aspect of injuries
In the UK you have mass casualty events like a bus crash
but it would be one or two intense days handling patients
“How do you deal with the fact that you don’t know how long it will last
You can’t use all your supplies on day one
Surgeons are used to doing full operations
but now they have to just stabilise people and hope they recover for full surgery later.”
All this when their own lives are on the line; even maternity hospitals have not been spared bombing attacks, and cancer wards for children put under siege.
Apart from emptying beds and stocking up on supplies
tasks include preparing a bomb shelter that has its own power supply
ventilation and even makeshift operating theatres
“We have one and he has been practising all the time,” Vasilivna says
The hospital is ready; many of its medics have some experience of war after eight years fighting Russian-backed separatist forces in the country’s east
but they are also aware that the scale of that conflict is dwarfed by the current attacks
“Doctors have experience of this kind of injury because we have been fighting since 2014,” Vasilivna said
“But this is a different war from the one we have had up to now.”

relevant construction works have already started and are expected to finish before the end of 2024
A reminder that a new international road border checkpoint will be built on the Ukrainian-Romanian state border in the Zakarpattia region
between Ukraine’s village of Bila Tserkva and Romania’s city of Sighetu Marmației
The construction works will be financed by Romania and the EU
The Ukrainian side is responsible for building a road towards the border checkpoint

These guitars compete in the global market alongside Fender and Gibson
and represent Ukraine at international music trade shows
And they originate from a small workshop in Bila Tserkva
It all started in 2016 when Oleksandr Doroshenko’s guitar broke
which led him to discover the workshop of the brothers Vadym and Dmytro Havrylenko
The brothers’ skills and passion inspired Doroshenko to collaborate with them on a new brand
which quickly won the hearts of several world-famous musicians and collectors
including Grammy-winning bassist John Patitucci
Oleksandr Doroshenko is the face of Universum Guitars — he’s the one who takes care of the public
he believes the town gives him his creative energy
he calls his return to Ukraine “a gift to his old age”
— Inside the adult man hides a childhood dream
we played in a “vocal-instrumental ensemble”
In the USSR those groups weren’t called “rock bands”
Our band was called The Vikings — I don’t know why
and I didn’t get the chance to do anything connected with guitars
Vadym Havrylenko is Oleksandr’s associate and a mechanical engineer by training; he is the craftsman who brings the designs to life
Vadym says it was his lack of musical talent that led him to this job
— I’ve got friends who’ve been “kissed by God”
But it’s better to be a good carpenter than a bad guitarist
Vadym has been making musical instruments for over thirty years
and counts himself lucky to belong to that minority of people who have found their dream job
between 64 types of wood used for guitars: from Transcarpathian maple to African blackwood
Then a 3D model is created on a computer; later
this model is reproduced by woodworking machines
These methods provide scope for the realisation of innovative ideas
the creators draw attention to the condenser microphone
which they devised to put inside a solid-body guitar
in order to switch between electric and acoustic modes
Oleksandr claims that the special sound of their guitars is achieved through the use of the Golden Ratio principle
He is convinced that guitars like these boost creativity
After picking up an instrument made by Universum Guitars
Vlad wrote a new single for the first time in eight years
The guitar makers are still collaborating with him
as a result of which their instruments are now recommended to students of the world-renowned Berklee College (Boston
The evolution of the project had two phases
in which the prototypes were given out on a trial basis and
the guitars from Bila Tserkva were already on display at NAMM Musikmesse
these kinds of events usually have more effect on publicity than on sales
The second phase began at a trade fair in the USA
which provided the impulse to transform the creative project into a business
— Whereas previously we had been making instruments that everyone loved
we then understood the need to make instruments that everyone will play,” says Oleksandr
Now we’re aiming at a broader spectrum of customers
Americans tend to pronounce “Universum” as “universal”
which deprives the company name of its philosophical roots
a decision was made to rebrand and localise for the American market
Their guitars are now issued in the USA under the name “D.A.G by Universum Guitars”
is a guitar display stand used for participation in international trade fairs
Nearby is a gallery with photographs of famous musicians playing Universum guitars: Tommy Henriksen
famous for his collaborations with Alice Cooper
Hollywood Vampires and Warlock; John Patitucci
the most influential bassist in the world; famous acoustic guitarist Tommy Emmanuel; Andrey Makarevich
the frontman of “Mashina Vremeni”; Sergo Chanturia
a legend of the Ukrainian rock scene; and many others
Some of them were approached by the company; others stumbled upon the instruments by chance
— Al Di Meola went into a music shop in Miami and asked to hold this guitar
and then found out it was an exotic one: made in Ukraine
Universum Guitars now have the opportunity to enter the Ukrainian market
The risk is that the price threshold will match those of the global brands
as the quality of the workmanship is equally high
whether Ukrainians are ready to put their trust in home-grown talent and buy local
the instruments will go on sale in Ukraine’s major music stores
Oleksandr is optimistic about the state of creativity in Ukraine:
— I’m very happy to see this dynamic emerging in our society
It seems they’re tired of living in a minor key
and if you want to convey what you’re feeling
Universum Guitars has made several hundred instruments; nevertheless
they insist that the main task ahead of them is to work on quality
When questioned about the company’s commercial success
the founders recommended we visit their workshop in a year’s time and see it with our own eyes
this is first and foremost an artistic project

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion
the Bila Tserkva-based NGO “Legal Unity” (Kyiv region) has not only continued to provide legal aid to residents of Kyiv oblast communities
but has also implemented crisis response and recovery and social cohesion activities
An example is the systematic work with the community of internally displaced persons
which has been supported by the Legal Development Network since February 2023 as part of the program to strengthen the capacity of local organizations to respond to the challenges of war
We will talk about how the organization helps IDPs become self-sufficient and influential below
we started by setting up a business school for displaced women
More than 45 professionals and future entrepreneurs already knew what they wanted to do
But they lacked practical skills and knowledge
we involved deputies from the city council who are responsible for a certain area
local authorities would know about the need to support this initiative in the future at the expense of the community
We carefully selected specialist consultants who know how to translate an idea into a business plan
The trainers were sought out based on feedback from other organizations with which we had cooperated
the team that implemented this initiative consisted of more than seven people – lawyers from our organization and our partner NGO “Sonyakh”
volunteers from among the IDPs and students of the legal clinic
as well as members of the city council.” says Oleksandra Shcherbyna
lawyer of the NGO “Legal Unity” and coordinator of the project
The business school lasted three months at the Agency for Strategic Development. The school was organized by Olha Moroz
an activist and displaced person from Donetsk Oblast
who is a representative of the partner NGO Soniakh
which unites a community of about 3,000 internally displaced people
the participants were able not only to learn how to write business plans and effective resumes
three women found their dream jobs and four started their own businesses
the organization launched the IDP Information and Advisory Support Center
more than 150 IDPs were provided with support and guidance on obtaining a new profession
how to obtain grant support for starting a business
retraining and acquiring professional skills
“In terms of retraining and acquiring new professional skills
the center trained in six professions: tailor
and barista. But it’s not just about helping people learn a trade
Our volunteers expanded the potential for realization in these areas: how to find more favorable working conditions
The next step was to hold a financial literacy school for 25 displaced persons in December 2023
The organization continues to work in these areas in 2024
“Thanks to our constant work with IDPs
After analyzing possible solutions at the local government level
we realized that the creation of the Program for Support of Internally Displaced Persons for 2023-2025 could help in a comprehensive manner
the document at the community level helps to address the issues of financial support for internally displaced persons
extended retraining so that they can learn what they need and work according to their qualifications,” says Inna Malyshko
Executive Director of the NGO “Legal Unity”
In addition to participating in the formation of local policies
Legal Unity helped to create an effective IDP council at the Bila Tserkva City Council
The organization advised IDPs on their rights and obligations within the council
and participated in a joint advocacy campaign
the council began its work and conducted strategic planning
“Another area that we did not even know about was the support of newly created public organizations
We were approached by three initiative groups of internally displaced persons asking how to write projects
one of these initiative groups consists of five women whose families have fallen soldiers
They want to open their own NGO to help other women in the same situation
provide some financial support on a regular basis
create a dialogue platform for these women
and so on,” says Oleksandra Shcherbyna
Legal Unity experts have provided more than five consultations on the establishment of a non-governmental organization and are helping to create a strategic plan for 2024-2025
“When we cooperated with the IDP registration center and also with the NGO Soniach
we saw that there was a lot of misunderstanding among new community members about where to go
and we received questions about whether there were any directories with addresses and phone numbers
and IDP registration to understand what information is needed – where the institution is located
and the work schedule,” says Oleksandra Shcherbyna
The finished roadmap for IDPs was distributed in electronic format through social media
and in hard copy to institutions and organizations frequented by IDPs
“We had a case when an IDP opened this road map and saw that the social security department she was looking for was two houses away
We received a lot of good feedback after the distribution of the guide
because it helps people to find their way around immediately,” notes Oleksandra Shcherbyna
Each of the organization’s activities is carried out in conjunction with legal aid
Legal Unity has provided more than 300 consultations as part of the program to support local organizations
Among the most frequent appeals in 2023 were issues related to fixing or compensation for destroyed housing; payments due to changes in legislation; and benefits for educational services
such as free meals in schools and kindergartens
“We consulted people on site in remote villages
and after trainings and events we held for IDPs
Internally displaced persons began to use the information they received during the consultations
they would again get the opportunity to clarify or talk to lawyers about new issues after the classes
This practice was very effective,” says Oleksandra Shcherbyna
The material was created with the support of the international charitable platform GlobalGiving

March 22, Bila Tserkva, Unilever marked the start of its new factory with an official groundbreaking ceremony and the laying of a commemorative capsule at its construction site on the “Bila Tserkva” industrial park.
As announced last year, Unilever has invested €20million in the new factory, which will produce personal care products including shampoos and shower gels for brands such as Dove, Axe, TRESemmé and Clear.
The new Unilever factory will span 4.2 hectares and will have a production capacity of over 5,000 tons per year. Its construction is set to be finished towards the end of 2024.
Vasyl Bovdilov, General Manager, Unilever Ukraine, said: “Today has been an important event for expanding our business and developing the industry. The construction of the new factory shows our ambitious plans and long-term commitment to Ukraine. The new production will create up to 100 new jobs, contribute to the growth of the local FMCG market and expand Ukraine’s export opportunities.”
The factory is being built in accordance with a green and sustainable industrial ecosystem, with efficient use of water and energy resources, comfortable working conditions and minimal impact on the environment. The office premises of the factory are designed considering the needs of people with reduced mobility. A ground-based mobile shelter has been already created on the construction site, and the factory building will include an underground shelter as well.
Land management and investment attractiveness were considered while choosing the location for the facility. The industrial park located in Bila Tserkva has a site ready for construction with engineering communications and ready-made road infrastructure, which reduces the time for construction.
Deputy Head of Kyiv State Regional Administration, Lesya Karnaukh, Mayor of Bila Tserkva, Hennadiy Dykyi, and Iryna Starenka, head of Bila Tserkva regional administration, have also visited an official groundbreaking ceremony.
