Ukrainian vessels operating in the area of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) harvested 19,980 tons of valuable Antarctic bioresources
This is a 54% increase compared to 2023 (12,945 tons) and a 107% increase compared to 2022 (9,659 tons)
Five vessels under the Ukrainian flag were involved in the fishing operations:
The fishery entities paid over 7.2 million UAH to local budgets for the special use of aquatic bioresources
