Colwyn Bay sealed the JD Cymru North title with a 1-0 win away at Penrhyncoch on the final day of the season It has been an incredible campaign from the Seagulls who will bounce straight back to the JD Cymru Premier following relegation a year ago Having appointed Mike Wilde as their new manager last summer Bay were beaten 4-0 at home by Bangor 1876 on the opening day but remarkably that would prove to be their only league defeat of the entire campaign The Seagulls have gone 29 games unbeaten since then as they have gone head-to-head with Airbus UK Broughton for the title Wilde’s men ultimately finish three points ahead of the Wingmakers which could be put down to a thrilling 6-3 win over their rivals in September Craig Lindfield – who played for Airbus last season – netted a hat-trick in that game and finishes as Bay’s top scorer in the league with 20 goals including six in the final five games of the season to help secure the title Bay have also had the best defence in the JD Cymru North with goalkeeper Rhys Williams keeping the most clean sheets in the division (14) supported by the likes of Sol Forde “It’s been fantastic,” manager Mike Wilde said but to just put performances in week after week like they have done with their belief and the way they’ve listened to information “This football club deserves to be in the Cymru Premier and I’m so happy that we’ve been able to get back there this season,” captain Sam Hart added they led the way for a long time and that brought the best out of us but finally today we’ve got over the line so I’m absolutely made up.” Take a look at all of the photos from the Seagulls’ win over the Roosters which clinched the JD Cymru North title and the celebrations JD Cymru Premier European Play-Off semi-final confirmed JD Over 1,300 fans were in attendance to witness the derby at the Four Crosses Construction Arena and they did not have to wait long for the opening goal as Dan Atkins headed home Sam Hart’s corner after just three minutes – his fifth goal in four matches.  A corner again caused problems for Llandudno in the 14th minute as they failed to deal with Jay Owen’s delivery allowing Lewis Sirrell to nod in to double Bay’s advantage Victory was sealed midway through the second half by substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes who had only been on the pitch for four minutes as he provided the finish to Sol Forde’s flick on.  The Seagulls are three points clear at the top of the table heading into the final day after second-place Airbus UK Broughton were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Mold Alexandra.  The Wingmakers took the lead in the 17th minute when Kaiden Cooke brought down a long ball and tapped beyond Michael Crossley for his seventh goal of the season.  Airbus struck the woodwork twice in the second as Jordan Evans’ thunderous strike hit the post and Joe Palmer’s header crashed off the crossbar before a sucker punch arrived with 11 minutes left on the clock when Lucas Gregson guided a header into the bottom corner from Josh Watkin’s pinpoint cross to bring Mold level.  It means that Colwyn Bay will win the title if they avoid defeat away at Penrhyncoch on the final day while Airbus must triumph away at Caersws and hope that the Seagulls lose if they are to lift the trophy.  Ruthin Town and Bangor 1876 will meet in a mouthwatering final day encounter to avoid relegation to the third tier.  Ruthin currently sit in the bottom three but earned a 0-0 draw away at Buckley Town on Friday night – their first clean sheet on the road all season – to move two points behind 13th-place Bangor.  It meant that the Citizens would have secured survival with a home win over Caersws on Saturday but they suffered an agonising 2-1 defeat.  As a first half of few chances was coming to a close Caersws found the breakthrough in the 44th minute when Rhys Hesden produced a superb curling finish into the bottom corner.  Bangor levelled the contest six minutes after the restart as Jake Ellison produced a thumping finish from Tom Mahoney’s cross but there was late drama to come in stoppage time as Caersws substitute Tommy Rowlands rifled home a loose ball in the box in the 95th minute.  Guilsfield secured their first away win in the JD Cymru North since November as James Smallwood and Iwan Matthews both scored twice in a 5-1 comeback victory over Flint Mountain on Friday.  Mountain took the lead straight from kick-off at the Essity Stadium as a long ball forward was nodded down by Aaron Simpson for Jack Parry to hammer home.  Smallwood and Joe Haycock both found the net to turn the game around in Guilsfield’s favour by half-time before Smallwood grabbed his second early in the second half and then turned provider for Matthews to make it 4-1 shortly prior to the hour mark.  Matthews completed his brace in the 67th minute to cap off a fourth consecutive win for Guilsfield Denbigh Town also hit five on Friday night to move up to seventh in the table as the Reds stormed to a 5-0 home win over Llay Miners Welfare.  Alfie Vaughan’s composed finish one-on-one with Henry Green put Denbigh ahead in the 37th minute before Nathan Brown made it two from close range in first half stoppage time.  Owen Davies added his name to the scoresheet on the hour mark by intercepting the ball in a dangerous area racing through on goal and firing past Green. Vaughan headed home his second of the evening in the 89thminute before he set up Brown to complete his brace in stoppage time.  Penrhyncoch earned their first win in three matches as they came from behind to win 2-1 away at Prestatyn Town on Saturday.  The Seasiders took the lead three minutes before half-time when Macauley Taylor rose highest from Rob Parry’s corner and headed beyond Leigh Jenkins.  Penrhyncoch turned the game around with a brace from Rhydian Davies in the final 15 minutes – the midfielder’s first goals for the club since signing from Bow Street last summer.  Holywell Town have failed to win back-to-back home matches in the JD Cymru North for the first time in two and a half years after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Gresford Athletic on Saturday.  Wellmen forwards Brady McGilloway and Jake Roberts both had efforts denied by Gresford goalkeeper Lewis Dutton while Colliers midfielder Charley Edge saw his curling free-kick denied by the post late on. they triumphed 1-0 away at Penrhyncoch.  The Seagulls needed just a point to seal the title but claimed all three thanks to Dan Atkins’ strike in the 16thminute – his sixth goal in the last five matches The forward raced onto Ethan Roberts’ long ball and sent a low drive beyond Leigh Jenkins from a tight angle.  A red card for Penrhyncoch defender Rhys Jenkins in first half stoppage time hampered the hosts’ comeback hopes and a goalless second period ensured that Colwyn Bay lifted the league trophy and secured promotion back to the JD Cymru Premier at the first attempt Jamie Reed’s stunning bicycle kick earned a 1-0 win for Ruthin Town over Bangor 1876 which kept Ruthin up and relegated their opponents in dramatic fashion Ruthin started the day in the relegation zone two points behind Bangor and it was a tense afternoon at Maes Tegid with so much on the line.  But a key turning point arrived in the 61st minute when Bangor defender Jake Ellison was shown a straight red card for fouling Reed who was through on goal.  37-year-old Reed – who won the JD Cymru Premier title with Bangor City in 2011 – then produced a moment of magic in the 83rd minute as his acrobatic effort defeated Carl Jones It was enough to condemn Bangor to an eighth consecutive defeat and third tier football next season Airbus UK Broughton have battled for the title all season but must settle for a second-place finish despite a 3-2 final day win away at Caersws James Davies played a neat one-two with Danny Warren before slotting home at the near post to open the scoring for Airbus in the 18th minute then doubled the lead four minutes later with a dipping volley over Max Williams.  Warren made sure he claimed the division’s golden boot by heading home from Kaiden Cooke’s goal in the 34th minute for his 24th league goal of the campaign.  Caersws reduced the deficit through Rhys Hesden’s finish in first half stoppage time while Harry Cottam headed in late on to set up a nervy ending but Airbus held on to finish the season with a fifth consecutive away win.  Alfie Vaughan scored a stoppage-time equaliser to salvage a point for Denbigh Town in an entertaining 3-3 draw against Gresford Athletic at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.  Haci Ozlu met Charlie Mann’s cross to the back post with a header to give Gresford the lead in the 28thminute before Mann made it two by tapping home from close range early in the second half two goals in as many minutes for Denbigh levelled the scoreline by the hour mark Nathan Brown halved the deficit with a simple finish from close range before half-time substitute Owen Davies fired home into the bottom corner.  A curling finish from Ozlu saw Gresford edge back in front in the 68th minute before Denbigh won a penalty with four minutes left on the clock but Brown saw his spot-kick saved by Lewis Dutton All hope was not lost for the Reds though as Vaughan fired home in the box in the 92nd minute to ensure a share of the spoils.  Dropped points for Denbigh meant that Mold Alexandra leapfrogged them to secure a top half spot with a 3-1 home win over Buckley Town.  Mold scored twice in the final seven minutes of the first half to lead at the break with Craig Rogers scoring a superb free-kick before Owen Cordiner produced a composed finish past Ryan Goldston. Cordiner then turned provider for Fabrizio Murtas to make it 3-0 six minutes into the second half Nick Grogan’s sweetly struck free-kick gave Buckley a glimmer of hope just after the hour mark but there was to be no comeback from Asa Hamilton’s side.  The Bucks’ defeat allowed Llandudno to climb above them into fourth place with a 3-2 comeback victory over relegated Prestatyn Town at the Go Goodwins Stadium.  The contest was level at the break as Rob Parry’s opener for Prestatyn was cancelled out by a brilliant free-kick from Mark Cadwallader. Harvey Bennett gave Llandudno the lead early in the second half but Parry netted his second of the afternoon to bring Prestatyn on terms in the 77th minute Gareth Thomas’ side were searching for just their second point away from home all season but were beaten in the 87th minute as Callum Stephens popped up with a winner for Llandudno.  Alfie Banning was then sent off for the hosts for a second bookable offence but Jordan Hadaway’s side were able to hold on to claim all three points.  Flint Mountain ensured a top half finish in their first season in the JD Cymru North as they held third-place Holywell Town to a 1-1 draw at the Essity Stadium.  Jamie Breese rounded Mountain goalkeeper John Danby to slot Holywell ahead in the 33rd minute but the hosts responded immediately as Jack Parry made no mistake by converting the rebound after Ben Lawrence’s audacious effort which initially hit the crossbar.  Last season’s champions Holywell have now gone winless in four league matches for the first time since 2021.  Guilsfield achieved a top half finish for the fourth consecutive JD Cymru North season as Jamie Hyne’s quickfire double earned a 2-1 win away to bottom-of-the-table Llay Welfare Welfare top scorer Jonathan Collo put his side ahead four minutes into the second half but two goals in as many minutes from Hyne shortly after the hour completed the comeback for the Guils who finish the campaign with five consecutive victories.  Caersws 2-3 Airbus UK BroughtonFlint Bangor 1876 JD Cymru North leaders Colwyn Bay made it five league wins in a row by triumphing 4-0 away at Prestatyn Town on Friday a result which relegated the Seasiders.  Dan Atkins opened the scoring against his former club in the 18th minute with a close range finish after Jamie Cumming had rounded Robbie Williams while Atkins rounded the Prestatyn goalkeeper himself to net his and Bay’s second goal five minutes before half-time as Craig Lindfield nodded home from Cumming’s header back across goal.  the Seagulls took their foot off the gas in the second half but sealed victory with four minutes remaining when substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes received a flick on from Atkins and fired past Williams from the edge of the area.  Second-place Airbus remain just one point behind Bay but had to come from behind to win 2-1 away at Flint Mountain on Friday night.  Mountain found the breakthrough in the 17th minute through Andy Brown who fired home the loose ball after Ryan Kershaw’s free-kick had crashed off the crossbar. The hosts continued to dominated proceedings and Airbus were thankful to get to half-time only one goal down.  The Wingmakers stepped up the game after the break though and were level on 56 minutes thanks to a sweetly struck free-kick from Jordan Evans The turnaround was complete 16 minutes later when two substitutes combined – Kaiden Cooke crossing from the left for Oli Lanceley to head in at the near post.  There was more misery for Mountain in stoppage time as defender Jordan Williams was shown a straight red card for a last-ditch challenge on Cooke.  Caersws moved three points clear of the relegation zone by earning a crucial 3-2 home victory against Llay Miners Welfare on Saturday.  Jonathan Collo put Welfare ahead five minutes after the break with a simple finish into an empty following a saved effort Ash Harries equalised for Caersws on 65 minutes but the Bluebirds were behind again just two minutes later as Ruben Lima restored Llay’s lead.  Max McLaughlin had come off the bench early in the second half and he would prove to be the game-changer for Caersws The forward made it 2-2 with a superb free-kick in the 75th minute before popping up in the fifth minute of stoppage time with a clinical finish to end his side’s eight-match winless run in dramatic style.  There was also stoppage time delight for Llandudno on Friday night as they triumphed 4-3 over Gresford Athletic in a thrilling encounter at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.  The Seasiders took a 1-0 lead into half-time thanks to Mark Cadwallader’s close-range strike in the 14thminute but Gresford were level four minutes after the break courtesy of Charlie Mann’s thumping first-time finish.  The Colliers found themselves down to 10 men in the 65th minute when Joe Nelson received a second yellow card but remarkably then took the lead five minutes later as Adam Hesp headed home from Mann’s corner.  Their advantage did not last long though as Callum Stevens’ strike made it 2-2 three minutes later before Cadwallader completed the Llandudno turnaround by scoring from the penalty spot in 84th minute.   Gresford were not giving up and equalised four minutes later as Charley Edge’s corner led to Elliott Orton’s first senior goal but there was late heartbreak for the hosts in the 94th minute when Adam Stephens unleashed a stunning strike from distance to earn a fourth consecutive win for Llandudno.  The Seasiders are up to fourth in the table leapfrogging Buckley Town who were beaten 1-0 away at Guilsfield on Saturday.  The decisive moment at Clos Mytton arrived with just 13 minutes on the clock as Jamie Hyne scored for the third game in a row Gavin Allen’s side are now unbeaten in their last eight home matches in the JD Cymru North.  Ruthin Town remain in the relegation zone following a 2-0 home defeat to Holywell Town who earned their fourth successive win and clean sheet.  Danny Sullivan scored for the second successive game by heading home from Danny Andrews’ corner on the half hour mark before the defender turned provider early in the second half by crossing for Jamie Breese to tap in his 21st league goal of the campaign.  Ruthin had the chance to half the deficit when they were awarded a penalty just after the hour mark but Danny Holland blazed over the bar from the spot.  Flick through our galleries throughout the 2024/25 JD Cymru North season and see if you can spot yourself Bangor 1876 are still just three points clear of the relegation zone after they were beaten 2-1 away at Denbigh Town on Saturday.  it took a moment of magic from Denbigh teenager Alfie Vaughan to break the deadlock on 62 minutes as he picked up the ball 30 yards from goal and fired beyond Brad Farrar. Vaughan made it a brace just nine minutes later as his effort from Iwan Roberts’ low cross trickled over the goal line.  Corrig McGonigle halved the deficit for Bangor by scoring from the penalty spot in stoppage time but it was not enough to save Mike Johnston’s side from falling to a fifth consecutive league defeat.  Penrhyncoch and Mold Alexandra sit level on points in the table and nothing could separate them at Cae Baker on Saturday as they played out a goalless draw.  Both teams had their fair share of chances Penrhyncoch kept back-to-back league clean sheets for the first time this season while Mold kept their first in any competition since September.  Flint Mountain 1-2 Airbus UK BroughtonPrestatyn Town 0-4 Colwyn BayRuthin Town 0-2 Holywell TownGresford Athletic 3-4 LlandudnoDenbigh Town 2-1 Bangor 1876 Caersws Guilsfield on Saturday afternoon.  The Wingmakers had a series of opportunities to take the lead as Danny Warren glanced two headers wide of the target while teenager Kaiden Cooke saw his low drive denied by the woodwork.  They were punished for those misses in the 72nd minute when Guilsfield took the lead as Jamie Hyne headed home from James Smallwood’s corner for his 14th league goal of the campaign.  Heading for a first league defeat on home turf in almost two years Airbus found an equaliser eight minutes from time when Jordan Evans’ strike from range bent past everyone and nestled into the bottom corner.  The Wingmakers still have a game in hand over leaders Colwyn Bay but are now four points behind the Seagulls, who won 1-0 against Ruthin Town at Maes Tegid on Saturday The decisive moment came in the 22nd minute as Jamie Cumming was left unmarked from Joe Williams’ cross to head home into the top corner.  Bay came close to adding a second late in the day as substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes had his effort cleared off the line but they had to settle for a narrow victory as they extended their unbeaten streak in the league to 23 matches.  Denbigh Town were the weekend’s standout performers as they triumphed 5-0 away at Buckley Town on Saturday Nathan Brown put the Reds ahead in style by sending a stunning volley into the top corner from the edge of the area in the 29th minute before turning provider two minutes later as his corner was headed in by Bobby Beaumont.  Things would get even better for the Reds by half-time as they added two more in quick succession Alfie Vaughan steered the ball home in the 43rd minute before Sam Duffy raced through one-on-one with James McHarrie and slotted past the goalkeeper in stoppage time.  The game was over as a contest but Buckley did improve after the break Denbigh grabbed a fifth goal in stoppage time as Vaughan netted his second of the afternoon to seal his side’s biggest win of the season.  Llandudno claimed a fifth consecutive away win as they came from behind to beat rivals Bangor 1876 3-2 on Saturday.  Bangor took the lead in the 17th minute courtesy of Tom Clarke’s close-range finish but Llandudno levelled the contest barely a minute later as Harvey Bennett met a cross from the right and smartly tucked away the equaliser.  Liam Morris’ superb strike from 25 yards restored Bangor’s advantage just before the half hour mark but Llandudno were again relentless in their pursuit of an equaliser as they had a goal disallowed and Mark Cadwallader hit the woodwork before Bennett popped up to finally make it 2-2 from close range on the stroke of half-time.  The in-form Cadwallader would grab the winning goal just before the hour mark as he guided the ball home from Ben Maher’s free-kick condemning Bangor to a third straight defeat.  Gresford Athletic continued their impressive form with a fourth consecutive win triumphing 3-1 away at Mold Alexandra on Saturday.  The Colliers stunned their hosts by scoring three times in the space of six minutes to lead 3-0 with little over half an hour played Charlie Mann’s curling strike opened the scoring before Toby Gallagher-Keenan netted a quickfire brace.  Lucas Gregson pulled one back for Mold as he bundled the ball home from Fabrizio Murtas’ corner in the 68thminute but it proved little more than a consolation as Gresford moved level on points with the Alex in the table.  Penrhyncoch earned back-to-back wins for the first time since November as they triumphed 2-1 over Caersws at Latham Park on Saturday.  Dion Phillips put Penrhyncoch ahead midway through the first half with a close-range finish but Tommy Rowlands’ 40th-minute equaliser meant the contest was level at the break.  The Roosters’ winning goal came with 69 minutes on the clock as Owain Evans fired in a stunning strike from long-range to condemn Caersws to a fourth consecutive defeat The Bluebirds are just two points above the relegation zone but have two games in hand over 14th-place Ruthin.  Bottom-of-the-table Llay Miners Welfare scored an equaliser deep into stoppage time as they drew 1-1 at home against Flint Mountain on Saturday.  Mountain went into the game off the back of three consecutive wins and took the lead inside seven minutes at The Ring as Alfie Clark produced a deft lob over Henry Green.  That looked to be enough for all three points until Welfare top scorer Jonathan Collo popped up to equalise in the 96th minute – his fourth goal in as many games in all competitions Prestatyn Town are edging closer to relegation after they were beaten 1-0 at home by third-place Holywell Town on Friday night.  The decisive moment at Bastion Gardens arrived shortly after the hour mark as Jamie Breese brought down Ryan Edwards’ Colwyn Bay continue to lead the JD Cymru North with two games remaining following a 1-0 home win over Denbigh Town on Friday night.  The decisive moment at the Four Crosses Construction Arena came just after the half hour mark when Lewis Sirrell’s long pass found Ethan Roberts down the left and he cut the ball back for Dan Atkins to score his fourth goal in three matches.  The Seagulls remain four points ahead of second-place Airbus UK Broughton who have a game in hand and thrashed Ruthin Town 7-0 on Friday.  It was goalless until the 35th minute when Kaiden Cooke struck a remarkable effort from the byline which found the top corner while George Peers doubled the lead three minutes later as he received Danny Warren’s ball over the top before rounding Ruthin goalkeeper Dan Goldston.  Peers would complete his hat-trick – his third of the season – with two goals in as many minutes just before the hour mark After his effort from the edge of the box went in off the post he tapped in Warren’s cross at the back post.  The roles were reversed two minutes later as Peers set up Warren to slot in before Warren was the provider again in the 75th minute as he played in Kaiden Cooke to finish past Goldston Warren completed the scoring with his second of the night four minutes later as he received Tyler McManus’ through ball and fired into the bottom corner.  Ruthin’s defeat means that they remain in the relegation zone and three points adrift of safety but they maintain hope of staying up after 13th-place Bangor 1876 were beaten 6-1 away at Mold Alexandra on Saturday – their sixth consecutive defeat.  five of Mold’s goals came in a blistering 16-minute spell in the first half After Fabrizio Murtas had opened the scoring with a strike from the edge of the box on the half hour mark Cynan Edwards scored his first two goals for the club with a pair of close-range finishes.  Owen Cordiner added his name to the scoresheet soon after as he headed home from Josh Watkins’ cross before the forward scored from the penalty spot in first half stoppage time after he had been fouled in the box.  Emmanuel Lawal got Mold’s sixth of the afternoon early in the second half when he turned in Cordiner’s cross while Dion Jones – one of three players brought on by Bangor at half-time – grabbed a consolation goal for the visitors as he headed home.  with the Bluebirds needing just a point to confirm their own survival despite a 3-1 defeat away at Gresford Athletic on Saturday.  The Colliers opened the scoring just after the half hour mark when Charlie Mann’s cross was turned into his own net by Caersws midfielder Dillon Browne.  Haci Ozlu doubled the lead two minutes into the second half with a neat finish from the left hand side while Joe Ormrod’s strike from distance made it 3-0 in the 71st minute There was a late consolation for Caersws as Rhys Hesden lobbed Gresford goalkeeper Lewis Dutton but the Colliers saw out the final stages for their first win in three matches.   Guilsfield’s impressive recent form continued as they won 2-1 against third-place Holywell Town at Clos Mytton on Saturday.  Gavin Allen’s side opened the scoring after just 11 minutes as Joe Haycock fired into the top corner while Iwan Matthews doubled the advantage early in the second half Holywell pulled a goal back in the 75th minute as Jake Cooke headed home from Ilan ap Gareth’s free-kick but the visitors could not find a late equaliser.  Flint Mountain halted their three-match losing streak in emphatic style as they won 5-1 against Penrhyncoch at the Essity Stadium on Saturday.  Aaron Simpson broke the deadlock for the hosts by poking home from close range on 34 minutes while Kieran Ball doubled the lead eight minutes later as he rounded Penrhyncoch goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins to score his first Mountain goal.  Mike Hayes added his name to the scoresheet nine minutes into the second half by stealing the ball off a defender and firing home before Jack Parry’s half volley made it 4-0 in the 73rd minute An own goal from Dylan Owens spoilt Mountain’s clean sheet but Sam Rockall’s close-range finish completed the scoring for Aden Shannon’s side late on.  Llandudno’s four-match winning run was ended by Buckley Town who triumphed 3-2 at the Go Goodwins Stadium on Saturday.  Mark Cadwallader got on the end of Ben Maher’s free-kick to put Llandudno ahead after nine minutes but Adam Smith’s superb strike from distance levelled the contest in the 34th minute before Connor Littler completed the turnaround early in the second half by poking home after pinball in the box.  A stunning solo effort from Max Moore extended the Bucks’ advantage with 11 minutes remaining while a stoppage time goal from Llandudno captain Anthony Stephens was not enough to save the hosts.  Llay Miners Welfare earned only their third league win of the season as they triumphed 3-2 at home over Prestatyn Town on Saturday.  but it was an entertaining affair at The Ring with four goals in the opening 24 minutes.  Jonathan Collo capitalised on a Prestatyn defensive mix up to put Llay ahead in the 11th minute but Macauley Taylor flicked home Rob Hughes’ free-kick before Hughes scored direct from a corner to turn the game around in the space of five minutes A frantic spell was complete soon after as Collo netted his second of the game to equalise.  The match settled down but Llay’s winner arrived with eight minutes remaining as Harvey Ellis set up teenager Harry Cartwright to score his first goal for the club.  Airbus UK Broughton 7-0 at the top of the JD Cymru North.  The struggling Bluebirds led at half-time after Sam Phillips scored from the penalty spot four minutes before the break but Bay were back on level terms just nine minutes into the second half as Craig Lindfield met Ethan Roberts’ cross with a diving header into the bottom corner.  Caersws goalkeeper Max Williams kept the game level with numerous impressive saves but his resistance was finally broken in the 80th minute when Tom Creamer finished from close range after Sam Hart’s corner was not dealt with.  A 12th consecutive home win was sealed by the Seagulls five minutes later when Jamie Cumming was fouled in the box before stepping up to score the resulting penalty spot.  Second-place Airbus UK Broughton kept the pressure on Colwyn Bay with a 3-1 win away at Penrhyncoch on Saturday The match was goalless until the 85th minute when Oli Lanceley flicked the ball on to James Davies to slot home but Penrhyncoch found a 90th minute equaliser through defender Kieran Booker.  With Airbus heading for a third draw in four league games Danny Warren restored their lead in the fifth minute of stoppage time with his 18th league goal of the season.  Victory was secured four minutes later when Penrhyncoch goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins went up for a corner as the Roosters searched for an equaliser but Airbus broke away and Sam Baker found the net There was a red card for Jenkins to add to the hosts’ woes.  Ruthin Town climbed out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 win over bottom-of-the-table Llay Miners Welfare at Maes Tegid on Saturday.  Ruthin were 2-0 up inside 20 minutes as Sam Jones netted two quickfire goals Jonathan Collo’s fifth goal in as many games halved the deficit for Welfare early in the second half but Morris made sure of victory for Ruthin by netting his eighth goal of the campaign just after the hour mark.  Dave Evans’ side are now one point above the bottom three but 14th-place Caersws do have a game in hand while time is rapidly running out for Welfare who are 17 points adrift of safety with just six games left to play.  It is a similarly bleak situation for Prestatyn Town who are 12 points adrift of safety with only four games to play after their 2-1 defeat away at Denbigh Town on Friday night.  The hosts led after 11 minutes when Sam Duffy played through Owen Davies to finish but Prestatyn equalised against the run of play seven minutes before half-time as Alex Jones teed up Rob Parry to lash into the back of the net.  Denbigh continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and were eventually rewarded in the 75th minute when Davies picked up a loose ball and hammered it past Robbie Williams to complete his brace.  The Reds were not home and dry yet though as there was drama in the eighth minute of stoppage time when Sion Jones fouled Prestatyn substitute James Stead in the box Stead stepped up to take the resulting penalty himself but was denied by Elijah Beattie who ensured Denbigh held on to all three points.  Gresford Athletic’s four-match winning streak came to an end on Saturday as they were beaten 4-1 away at Guilsfield.  Cameron Allen’s looping header put the Guils in front just before the half hour mark but Dave Forbes scored a header of his own to equalise moments before the break.  Two goals in the space of five minutes midway through the second half put Guilsfield in control of the contest with Iwan Matthew firing home to finish a quick counter attack before Callum Bromley lashed home inside the box.  The hosts secured a first win in five league games when James Smallwood broke past the Gresford defence and netted in the sixth minute of stoppage time Third-place Holywell Town made it three consecutive wins with a 1-0 home victory over fellow Flintshire side Mold Alexandra on Saturday.  The decisive moment came five minutes before half-time when Wellmen defender Danny Sullivan headed home from Danny Andrews’ corner.  An injury to goalkeeper Shaun Pearson meant that Holywell played the final half hour of the game with midfielder Gareth Evans between the sticks but he kept the clean sheet intact to see out victory.  Llandudno climbed up to fourth in the table with a 1-0 home victory over fellow in-form side Flint Mountain on Friday night.  Mountain struck the woodwork twice in the first half but it was Llandudno who earned a sixth win in seven matches as Callum Stephens glanced home a header from Kieran Baker’s cross with 63 minutes on the clock.  Buckley Town claimed a first win in four matches by triumphing 2-0 away at Bangor 1876 on Friday night.  Asa Hamilton’s side led on 24 minutes when Connor Littler tucked home the rebound after Josh Jones’ shot was saved while an own goal from Bangor midfielder Dion Jones doubled the visitors’ lead early in the second half.  It is now four consecutive defeats for Bangor who are only four points above the relegation zone having played two games more than 14th-place Caersws.  Bangor 1876 0-2 Buckley TownDenbigh Town 2-1 Prestatyn TownLlandudno 1-0 Flint MountainColwyn Bay 3-1 CaerswsGuilsfield 4-1 Gresford AthleticHolywell Town 1-0 Mold AlexandraPenrhyncoch 1-3 opened after the break.  Dan Atkins tapped in Ethan Roberts’ cross just before the hour mark while Dafydd Griffith headed into his own net 10 minutes later from another Marsh-Hughes delivery.  Atkins grabbed his second of the afternoon on 71 minutes after latching onto Josh Carey’s through ball and clinically finishing beyond Joe Smith before defender Sol Forde wrapped things up late on as he powered home a header from Sam Hart’s corner.  Gresford Athletic continued their strong recent form and moved four points clear of the relegation zone with a crucial 1-0 home win against Ruthin Town.  The decisive moment arrived with 26 minutes on the clock as veteran striker Dave Forbes bagged his first goal since October It was enough to earn the Colliers a third successive league win for the first time since February 2020 while defeat for Ruthin leaves them in the bottom three and winless in their last seven league games.  Holywell Town also claimed their third consecutive victory as late goals from Jake Cooke and Jamie Breese secured a 2-0 win away to Llandudno.  The Seasiders’ defence held firm for much of the contest but the Wellmen eventually found the breakthrough with 70 minutes on the clock when Cooke received Brady McGilloway’s through ball and raced through on goal to slot past Cameron Darling for his sixth goal of the season.  Cooke then turned provider in the 84th minute as he played in Breese who cut inside and fired home to seal the three points for the reigning champions.  Bangor 1876 P-P Prestatyn TownColwyn Bay 5-0 Mold AlexandraDenbigh Town P-P Flint
