Was she the one who washed his butt crack or was that a different model-slash-actress
I'm a big proponent of marriage not being hard
It should be fun the majority of the time; even doing errands together should be enjoyable because you like spending time together. The hard part is putting your ego to one side because you both have to be vulnerable
The 'constant work' should be more like 'daily maintenance'
My first marriage was hard because my ex was an asshole lol
I think marriage is less hard if you marry good people who share your values and have similar goals and ideas about what the future looks like
I'm getting married again this June to someone who is wonderful and I am much happier and more comfortable and feel safer with him
We obviously have disagreements but it's not "hard"
I'm sure that having zero children will also mean less stress
i dont believe any famous man isnt fucking multiple people
she looks really different to how i remember her

The Australian star has signed on to headline Subversion
a high-octane submarine thriller from Amazon MGM Studios
With Patrick Vollrath at the helm and a script by Andrew Ferguson
this deep-sea action flick is shaping up to be Hemsworth’s next big splash
Hemsworth will portray a once-promising Naval commander who finds himself in hot water when a shadowy cartel-like group strong-arms him into captaining a submarine loaded with illicit cargo through international waters
Thrust into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse
our hero must outmaneuver military blockades and tackle threats from within and without the sub to stay afloat

But will Subversion offer Hemsworth a chance to flex his acting chops as well as his muscles
With a fall production start eyed in Australia

an ensemble thriller featuring Mark Ruffalo
and Monica Barbaro that’s already generating buzz ahead of its targeted 2026 theatrical release
Could this be the start of a beautiful friendship between Hemsworth and Amazon MGM
With the studio investing heavily in tentpole films and courting A-list talent
don’t be surprised if we see more of the Aussie action hero under the Amazon banner in the coming years
Even as he preps to take the plunge with Subversion
Hemsworth’s dance card is fuller than ever
He’s set to wield Mjolnir once more in next year’s Avengers: Secret Wars
which will see him reunite with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki

Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth might be best known for wielding a hammer as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this past weekend, he turned his attention to a different kind of horsepower—celebrating his son’s first-ever motocross race in Australia.
Posting to his 58 million followers on Instagram, Hemsworth shared his pride in the moment, writing: “Stoked for my boy competing in his first ever race finishing 3rd in his class, proud moment.” It’s a simple post, but one that could have a meaningful effect across the motocross world.
In an era where social media visibility plays a crucial role in boosting sports beyond the mainstream, having a global celebrity like Hemsworth shine a light on motocross is a big deal. His massive platform introduces the sport to an entirely new audience—many of whom may have never even considered motocross until now.
While his young son is clearly just enjoying the sport for what it is right now, placing third in his first outing is no small feat. Whether it’s a fleeting childhood hobby or the start of something more serious, the buzz created by Hemsworth’s post brings welcome attention to grassroots racing in Australia and beyond.
Motocross has always thrived on passion, family involvement, and a strong community spirit. And when someone with Hemsworth’s reach shares that spirit with the world, the potential to attract new fans, future riders, and even sponsors grows significantly.
Whether young Hemsworth continues to race or not, the exposure generated from one proud dad’s post is a timely boost—and one the sport should warmly welcome.

Chris Hemsworth has claimed he was “very intimidated” at the thought of working with one of his Hollywood co-stars
The Thor actor was nervous about starring in a film opposite Oscar-winning star Halle Berry as he has “admired her work for years”
Hemsworth, who is about to start filming the next Avengers movie
admitted in a new interview: “I was very intimidated to sit opposite her within the scene and try not just be in awe of what she was doing.”
He said that he “loved every experience” of their time together on new drama Crime 101
saying that the Oscar winner brought out “the best” in him
“People bring out not just the best in you, but also a comfort level where it does feel like it’s a place to explore and to examine different ideas, try different things,” he told E! News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas
Berry, who has shut down speculation she’ll reprise her X-Men role in the fifth Avengers film alongside Hemsworth
revealing that he supported her in a contentious moment during the film’s shoot
“He stood up for me in a moment in our movie
I instantly knew right then I’m going to follow this guy
be a fan of this guy for the rest of my life because he stood up for a woman.”

having shown up in a post-credits sequence for 2024 film The Marvels
But fans were upset to see Berry’s name missing from the credits
with many assuming Storm would be a shoo-in to show up

Halle Berry has praised Chris Hemsworth for standing up for her during the shooting of their latest movie
Oscar-winner Berry, 58, and Hemsworth, 41, are both leads in Crime 101, based on the novella of the same name written by Don Winslow
also stars Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan and Poor Things’ Mark Ruffalo
Berry and Hemsworth shared their mutual admiration for each other during the promotion of the film
as the Catwoman star revealed she had experienced some awkwardness during its making
“[He’s] a stand-up guy,” Berry told E! News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas
but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie

Hemsworth, who is due to start filming the next instalment of Avengers, returned the respects admitting he had been “very intimidated” to work with her.
“I’ve admired Halle’s work for many, many years,” he said. “I was obviously very intimidated to sit opposite her within a scene and try and, you know, not just be in awe of what she was doing.”
He added: “Certain people just bring out not just the best in you, but also sort of a comfort level where it feels like it’s a place to explore and it’s a place to examine different ideas and try different things. And that was the experience [with Berry]. I loved every second of it.”

A lot of people think that to get fit and strong you have to hit the gym or use dumbbells and barbells
Bodyweight workouts are massively underestimated and can tick both of these boxes
so you can easily slot them into your working day
That’s why I was excited to stumble across this 10-minute workout from Chris Hemsworth and his longtime trainer turned friend
It’s a low-impact HIIT workout that will boost your cardiovascular fitness
Keen to break up my working day sat at my desk
you can never underestimate the power of a short workout
By low-impact we mean there's no 'jumping' or high-impact exercises involved (like jumping squats or high-knees)
Zocchi ups the ante slightly by making each exercise slightly more difficult
Zocchi favours compound exercises in this routine
so they not only improve your cardiovascular fitness
The exercise selection targets your entire body from head to toe

Squats are the king of lower body exercises and are great for building functional strength
as it’s one of the main movement patterns we use every day
As someone who strength trains four times a week
come the final five seconds I could feel the lactate building up in my quads as I’m not used to working for a set time period— good thing shoulder taps were next
These were my favourite exercise of the entire workout
as I feel shoulder taps are a significantly underrated full-body exercise
They’re also amazing for your core too
It was tempting to speed through these to lessen the burn
but I knew taking shortcuts meant I wouldn’t experience their full benefit
The final exercise was the dreaded bicycle crunches
really focusing on aiming to get your elbow to touch the outside of your leg
they burn your obliques like nothing else and you'll reap the benefits more
core and legs in particular were all aching
my muscle endurance needs some improvement

‘Subversion’ could see Chris Hemsworth having his own ‘Die Hard’ moment
but anytime a movie shares the same vibes as “Die Hard” but in a different setting
Amazon has officially confirmed “Subversion,” a new action-thriller starring Chris Hemsworth
and it sounds like exactly the kind of claustrophobic chaos that could make for a great popcorn movie
The flick is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and will be directed by Patrick Vollrath
best known for “7500,” which also puts viewers in a confined space with rising tension so the tone checks out
Chris Hemsworth to Star in Submarine Thriller 'Subversion' for Amazon MGM (Exclusive) https://t.co/jGuQ0rFz3oApril 30, 2025
“Subversion” is scheduled to begin filming later this year in Australia
and while we don’t have a release date yet
the setup alone has me curious (and already a little sweaty)
Hemsworth plays a Navy commander who’s forced into a dangerous mission when a powerful criminal syndicate blackmails him into navigating a submarine packed with illicit cargo through international seas
but watching him navigate the pressure of a submarine thriller might be the most intense yet
So it's safe to say “Subversion” (nice wordplay in the title) is officially on my radar
we also have a synopsis that reads: “Chris Hemsworth plays a once-promising Naval commander who is blackmailed by a cartel-like operation into piloting a dangerous submarine carrying illegal cargo across international waters
thrusting him into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse
and navigating perilous threats both in and outside of the submarine.”
“Subversion” has been described as “Die Hard on a submarine” which I’m sure will be its main selling point
It immediately sets the tone and vibe without even needing a full synopsis
If Hemsworth’s past action roles are any indication
we can probably expect some intense close-quarters combat and at least one hull-rattling explosion (if not I’ll be disappointed)
The script for “Subversion” comes from writer Andrew Ferguson
with veteran producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura backing the project through his di Bonaventura Pictures banner
Production is currently slated to kick off this fall in Australia
I’ve always had a soft spot for contained thrillers as there’s something about the pressure cooker setting that cranks the tension up to eleven
If “Subversion” leans into that claustrophobia and gives Hemsworth room to dig into something darker
it could be more than just another action flick
Fingers crossed it delivers something sharp and a little bit unhinged
which basically means watching the best movies and TV shows and then writing about them
she worked as a freelance writer for Screen Rant and Bough Digital
both of which sparked her interest in the entertainment industry
When she’s not writing about the latest movies and TV shows
she’s either playing horror video games on her PC or working on her first novel

Eagle-eyed residents in Walworth might have spotted Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth on a council estate football pitch
finally putting to bed any rumours that the ‘Thor’ actor had to leave behind his movie career due to fears over Alzheimer
The 41-year-old Australian A-lister was spotted on the estate off the Walworth Road with American actress Monica Barbaro
who since appearing in Top Gun: Maverick three years ago has risen in popularity – winning acclaim for her stellar performance as Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown
The pair arrived at Nelson Estate Football Pitch and Basketball Court at 5pm on Tuesday this week
to start filming scenes of Bart Layton’s Crime 101
which is expected to be released later this year.
The two actors were spotted leaving black cars and quickly escorted into separate trailers
with Monica Barbaro being poorly shielded by umbrellas.
305 Walworth Road; the Chinese restaurant was covered in black tarpaulin and eventually bathed in red light during the evening
Residents were alerted of filming the week prior via a letter
which said setup and filming would start by 3pm
Filming reportedly went on well into the night with clear-up of the crew facilities within the pitch being completed by 11pm
Residents were faced with restricted parking and lost access to the football court
began filming in Los Angeles in November last year.
It is an adaptation of Don Winslow’s short story and while plot details are under wraps
the original story follows high-level jewel thefts taking place up and down the Pacific Coast that police have linked to Colombian cartels
Last year Hemsworth updated fans concerned by rumours that he was quitting Hollywood after a shocking health discovery
He found that he had a genetic disposition to Alzheimer’s
making him eight to ten times more likely to be diagnosed with the disease
The actor discovered the chances of him developing Alzheimer in one of the shows on Disney+ Series titled “Limitless”
He underwent numerous blood tests and confided in an interview with Vanity Fair that his biggest fear was forgetting his family
He also stated that his grandfather had suffered from Alzheimer and had passed away after “Limitless” was aired
His father too is said to be experiencing early signs of the disease
The actor said that he had immersed himself in various physical activities and mindfulness techniques to combat this deadly disease

This 7-move dumbbell workout promises to build strength
If you’ve ever wondered how Chris Hemsworth sculpts his superhero physique
The Aussie actor recently shared a seven-move upper-body session on his social media
As someone who’s always admired his rigorous training (and
Could I handle the brutal supersets and relentless pace Hemsworth swears by
Having tackled his infamous 50 Rep Challenge in the past – a deceptively simple but soul-destroying test of endurance – I thought I knew what I was in for
This workout isn’t just about lifting weights; it’s a relentless upper-body assault designed to leave no muscle unworked
ready to put myself through the same paces as Hemsworth
What followed was a session that pushed me to the edge – and left me questioning why I ever thought this would be a good idea
The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research also reports that supersets can lead to a greater Excess Post-Exercse Consumption
the afterburn effect that occurs after intense exercise and will see you burning calories up to 24 hours after your workout in order to restore your body to its resting state
Once you’ve completed all three supersets
the workout then changes pace and finishes with a powerhouse of an exercise
This move is designed to build explosive strength and power as you slam the weighted ball from above your head and down to the floor
Expect your heart rate to go through the roof as you utilise every muscle from heart to toe
Hemsworth gives you just 30 seconds between each
which is pretty brutal and barely enough time to catch your breath
A post shared by Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth)
We also recommend a water bottle and a sweatband - you'll need them
Hemsworth recommends doing each superset for four sets
taking a 60-second rest in between each round
Once you’ve completed all four rounds
take a 60-second rest before the finale; medicine ball slams for 15 reps
You’ll take just 30 seconds rest between sets
The incline dumbbell chest presses seemed manageable
Supersetting these two exercises with minimal rest was no joke – it felt like my chest and shoulders were on fire
I realised my coordination wasn’t quite up to Hemsworth's level
I had to reduce the dumbbell weight to avoid collapsing halfway through
The real test came with the medicine ball slams at the end
My heart was pounding so hard it felt like it might jump out of my chest
and I was seriously debating if I could keep going
Hemsworth’s “30 seconds rest” felt more like 5
and I barely had time to grab a sip of water before diving back in
I was completely spent but strangely exhilarated – like I’d unlocked a new level of my fitness
Describing Chris Hemsworth’s 7-move dumbbell workout as “challenging” feels like an understatement
As someone accustomed to resistance training
even I felt the intense burn in my muscles by the end of the session
This is not a workout for the inexperienced; if you’re new to training
it’s wise to approach it cautiously to avoid overexertion or injury
this routine is a fantastic way to shake up a stagnant fitness regimen
It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of repeating the same workouts and seeing diminishing returns
A high-intensity session like this can reignite your progress and push your muscles toward new growth – maybe not quite Hemsworth-level

Chris Hemsworth is set to star in the Amazon MGM deep sea thriller “Subversion,” which will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
Directed by Patrick Vollrath from a script by Andrew Ferguson, the film will star Hemsworth as a Naval commander who is blackmailed into piloting a dangerous submarine carrying illegal cargo across international waters. Along the way, he must outmaneuver blockades and other threats, including some that are inside the submarine.
Ferguson has written four scripts that have been named to the BlackList, including one called “Blood Rush” that is currently in development at Amazon MGM. Vollrath, who received an Oscar nomination for his 2016 short film “Everything Will Be Okay,” made his feature directorial debut with the airplane thriller “7500” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Hemsworth is set to star in another upcoming Amazon MGM film, “Crime 101,” which also stars Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Halle Berry and Monica Barbaro. The film is part of Amazon MGM’s plans to greatly expand its theatrical slate, effectively replacing 20th Century Fox as a wide release studio.
Hemsworth is also set to make his ninth appearance as Thor in Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” set for release in May 2026. He is repped by CAA and Greenberg Glusker. The casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Getting a quick picture with one of your favourite celebrities can be an easy way to make all your mates jealous and have bragging rights down the pub
But the reality is, if the situation ever came about, and you actually see a star in real life
you might just end up feeling too nervous or embarrassed to ask for a photo
And for Chris Hemsworth, asking for a selfie with Billie Eilish was something he instantly regretted
it seems he regretted it while it was still happening
In the kind of content that’s prime for going viral, the Thor actor got a selfie with the ‘Birds of a Feather’ singer and his wife, Elsa Pataky, at the 2024 Oscars
During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Hemsworth was asked if he’d ever asked someone for their autograph
which prompted him to recall his snap with Eilish
Pataky and Hemsworth have been married since 2010 and share three children together; daughter India Rose and twin boys Sasha and Tristan
despite thinking it would win him cool dad points with his children
right in the moment that he took the selfie with the Grammy winner
That’s because the Marvel star decided it meant he ‘went from work colleague to now like a fan.’”
Colbert then confirmed that Hemsworth has never actually worked on a project with Eilish but the actor explained: “You know
the host then joked this therefore meant he and Anthony Hopkins are ‘work colleagues’
Hemsworth certainly does seem to keep up a cool dad rep with his kids as he previously spoke out defending his son calling him by his first name
the star shared a series of snaps as fans pointed out his son was calling him Chris
“My son wanted to catch a fish for the locals in Fiji and after three attempts and about 12 hrs at sea we pulled in this beauty,” he wrote on Instagram
“Ps if you’re wondering why my son calls me Chris it’s because I’m his BFF and true mates don’t call each other dad.”
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky talk about their childhood holiday memories and why their partnership with Experience Abu Dhabi
which showcases the emirate's rich culture
How was your overall experience in Abu Dhabi
‘Can we stop in Abu Dhabi?’ It has a little bit of everything for them.”
What did you like most about your time in Abu Dhabi
To have a man-made wave in the middle of the desert – as beautiful and perfect as you find anywhere in the ocean – is wild.”
Getty ImagesWhat were some of your favourite moments in Abu Dhabi
Elsa: “We rode these amazing horses into the desert through the dunes
It's like a photograph from a movie; it's pretty romantic.”
Which is the smartest hotel you’ve ever stayed in Abu Dhabi
Chris: “We were shooting at Al Wathba Desert Resort in the desert. It was just beautiful. It's a sort of oasis in the middle of rolling sand dunes with beautiful villas. The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredible. It felt like something out of a storybook. When I think of Abu Dhabi I don't think of ocean – you think of only the desert
so to also have that ocean-going experience was a beautiful and unexpected combination
A huge variety of cuisine from across the globe was on offer every morning.”
Elsa: “The kids enjoyed the most insane breakfast buffet, with every kind of food you can imagine – doughnuts
What’s your favourite restaurant in Abu Dhabi
which has the most amazing pizzas and pasta and sea views
Some of the people who work with Chris are Italian
and they're very picky about Italian food outside Italy.” Chris: “But the Italian chef
[like king crab and homemade trenette pasta] so they gave it the double thumbs up.”
Which is your favourite city outside of the UAE
Elsa: “My favourite city is still Madrid, where I grew up
Even my kids now ask for Spanish food – the meat
the time they spend right after lunch – we eat
Chris: “I grew up in Melbourne. It’s such a multicultural place, and the cuisine has influences from all over the world. There’s quite a mix of experiences, from the art scene to the music through to the sporting venues. It feels like a European city more so than Sydney does
but Melbourne has a different heartbeat that I connect with on a deeper level.”
Elsa: “Fiji
It’s one of the places we visit often because it's three hours from Australia
snorkelling and scuba diving with manta rays
What are your main memories from your childhood holidays
Chris: “Holidays and camping. My parents could afford one holiday year. We had this Combi van, and they would pack surfboards and tents, and there'd be me and my two brothers squashed in the backseat. We’d drive to this place called Mallacoota on the coast in Victoria and stay there every Christmas
Some of my happiest memories were playing with my brothers and our friends there
The nostalgia of that place is unlike anywhere else.”
Elsa: “We used to go to Ibiza
We would go on the boat and swim and climb on the rocks
Getty ImagesWhere did you go on your first holiday without your parents
Chris: “My friend and I went up to this music festival in Sydney
which was a two-day drive from where I lived
You're camping with thousands of people
sleeping bags and pillows out of our tents
I raced back home and insisted my parents take care of me for a few more years.”
Elsa: “I always, always wanted to go to Paris
which I feel is still the most romantic city in the world
I was just dying to go into the Eiffel Tower and climb all the stairs
Chris: “My daughter really wanted to go to Iceland
The tour guide took us ice glacier climbing
We went trout fishing in the most beautiful streams
and hiking in stunning snow-capped mountains
Elsa: “Something in my heart was telling me to go to India
I was in Jodhpur and Jaipur for almost two months and I loved it

Consistency is easy when it only takes five moves and a set of dumbbells to get a full-body workout
It’s not what you do once in a while that matters
which is why I was intrigued by Chris Hemsworth's Daily 50-Rep Challenge
If you could do 50 reps every day for the rest of your life - you’d be in fantastic shape
I had no intention of getting as buff as he was when he recorded the video for the workout
but as long as the session gives me a bit of a boost
Could the 50-rep challenge be the secret sauce of spicing up your workout routine
Here’s what happened when I swapped my usual workout for the 50-rep challenge
A post shared by Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth)
Chris' Daily 50-rep Challenge is designed to improve strength
It's scalable based on fitness levels by adjusting dumbbell weights and rounds
To do this, all you need is a pair of dumbbells – or, even better, some adjustable dumbbells
These are perfect for those who can’t get to the gym and like to keep challenging themselves without needing to store and buy new and heavier dumbbell sets whenever they want to push a little harder
The aim is to repeat the five-move circuit five times, resting for just 60 seconds between each round, for a muscle-building full-body workout that will also leave you with a few beads of sweat on your forehead
you don’t need to go far to accomplish a great workout
Whether you don’t have time for the gym or prefer to crush reps in your living room
this is a great workout to get the heart rate up
work every muscle from head to toe and strengthen areas you didn’t even know existed
Not only are the movements in this workout efficient and interesting, but they’re all compound exercises that activate several muscles simultaneously
making them absolutely ideal for when time is tight but you want to lose weight and build muscle simultaneously.
Working the full body by performing moves like burpees and reverse lunges is also key to improving coordination and overall strength while preventing injury
especially by strengthening the hips and knees
I decided to progress through my weights with each round
but the key is to mix things up and keep your body and mind engaged
It certainly did this: my heart was pounding
is a great way to get the body warm while encouraging deep squats that see you explode up through the legs before pressing your dumbbells over your head
I could perform 10 straight reps without an issue
my arms and shoulders started to burn as I hit the last move (standing shoulder press)
and I found that as I progressed through the week
I got used to the intense burn in my shoulders and biceps.
I gave myself 30-ish seconds at the end of each round and smashed through each circuit in just under 3 minutes
One thing for sure is that the Daily 50-rep Challenge ticks all my workout boxes
What I love about this workout is that it’s quick
My only regret is that I didn’t get to do the workout with the coastline view like Chris has

Actor and wife filmed promotional ad in UAE
a country which strives to present itself as tolerant ‘while carrying out repression against dissent’
Australian movie star Chris Hemsworth has been criticised for starring in a slick advertisement promoting Abu Dhabi as a tourism destination in partnership with the United Arab Emirates government
the latest celebrity to use their influence to promote the gulf state
Hemsworth features in the minute-long ad with his actor and model wife, Elsa Pataky, which they posted on their Instagram accounts on Wednesday. The ad was also shared by the Experience Abu Dhabi Instagram account.

and rights-respecting while carrying out repression against dissent”

Hemsworth’s campaign video to entice tourists to the UAE capital begins by depicting him and Pataky pretending to film an intense action movie
Hanging from the side of a building in between takes
Hemsworth tells Pataky he “could really use a vacation right now”
The ad flicks back and forth between the fake movie set and a montage of clips of Hemsworth and Pataky enjoying various tourist attractions in Abu Dhabi with their young children
The ad was released on the same day the Albanese government announced it had finalised its free trade deal with the UAE
eliminating tariffs on virtually all Australian exports to the gulf state despite concerns about its treatment of migrant workers
After resisting calls from the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) to call off the agreement
said on Wednesday the deal would result in about $678m worth of additional Australian exports to the UAE
The ACTU had said the UAE would be “one of the most repressive countries any Australian government has ever done a bilateral trade agreement with”
The peak body for unions said the UAE was “notorious for serious human rights and labour rights violations including modern slavery” and 90% of its workforce were migrants
Fans criticised Hemsworth – who starred in the Thor blockbusters and has been a Tourism Australia global ambassador – for participating in a campaign to promote the UAE without mentioning any human rights concerns.
Prof Justine Nolan, the director of the Australian Human Rights Institute at the University of New South Wales, said the advertisement was a “very deliberate strategy” to promote an image that was different from the “reality on the ground”.
“They’re trying to move on and improve their image,” she said. “They’ve come under fire for their treatment of dissent, protest, women, LGBTI+ communities [and] migrant workers.”

“It’s definitely true there has been some progress in the UAE but there are still many people because of their gender or race or sexual orientation are second-class citizens,” she said

A spokesperson for Amnesty International said it was concerned about human rights abuses across the United Arab Emirates
“particularly the government’s suppression of free speech
peaceful protest and dissent through practices of arbitrary arrest
detention and in some cases torture of political prisoners”
Hemsworth and Pataky aren’t the first local celebrities to stir controversy for taking promoting tourism in the gulf region of the Middle East
actor Rebel Wilson was criticised after reportedly attending the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal Dubai hotel in the UAE’s most populous city with her girlfriend
In 2019, after the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia used social media influencers, including some Australians, to try to repair its damaged image.
The UAE is Australia’s largest trade and investment partner in the Middle East, with more than $9.9bn in two-way trade and $20.7bn in two-way investment in 2023.
Guardian Australia attempted to contact Hemsworth for comment through his talent agency, Australian Talent & Media Specialists, as well as Centr, the fitness app he co-founded.

Marvel fans have good reason to get hyped following Thor’s new look ahead of Avengers: Doomsday
When I say “new look”, if anything, it’s moreso a returning look perhaps inspired by 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok
and it could signal the return of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor as we once knew him to be
Thor, without question, whether it’s comics, TV animations or movies on the big screen, is one of the most popular Marvel characters of all time
he became even more popular following his introduction to the MCU with Thor in 2011
Check out the Thor: Ragnarok trailer below
I think it’s fair to say that 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder wasn't the highest point for the MCU character. I’m all for some comedy, but Thor: Love and Thunder perhaps leaned into humour a bit too much, so much so that Chris Hemsworth himself said it was cringe
I’m all for the badass God of Thunder being well and truly back in the MCU
With that in mind, as spotted by Comicbook.com
in preparation for filming for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday
Chris Hemsworth has been spotted sporting a new hair style similar to the one featured in Thor: Ragnarok
A photo was shared (thanks HollywoodHandle) by MCU stunt performer Bobby Holland Hanton
Chris Hemsworth also shared a video of him topless (obviously) punching the crap out of a punch bag looking extra buff and shredded
The most recent movie in the MCU is Thunderbolts*
which will be followed by The Fantastic Four: First Steps
which kickstarts Phase Six on 25 July 2025
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to be released on 1 May 2026

He's going to be front and center in a submarine thriller called "Subversion"
A post shared by Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth)
and Hemsworth does seem to be the main selling point
and with all due respect to screenwriter Andrew Ferguson and director Patrick Vollrath
neither of them are selling points to the general public
Apparently the elevator pitch on this movie is "'Die Hard' on a submarine," and it's heartening that the "'Die Hard' on/in a X" conception is still out there all these years later
Hemsworth plays a naval commander blackmailed into piloting a submarine containing illegal contraband across international waters
there is a long history of submarine-set thrillers
given that submarines are kind of bananas conceptually
If "Subversion" can combine "Die Hard" with the sub thriller
there's no way it's as good as "Die Hard," and Hemsworth is no Bruce Willis
but there's an idea there that could be fun

Marvel star Chris Hemsworth reflected on a cringey moment with Billie Eilish at the 2024 Oscars that he thinks now prevents him from building a close bond with the singer
Chris Hemsworth may have to avenge one celebrity faux pas
The Avengers: Doomsday actor recently reflected on an embarrassing moment with Billie Eilish from the 2024 Oscars that he wishes he could snap his fingers and make disappear
"I got a photograph with Billie Eilish at the Oscars,” Chris said during a March 26 appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
Despite his reservations, though, the 41-year-old—who shares daughter India, 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 11, with wife Elsa Pataky—decided to go forward with the selfie for a special reason

I was like 'I went from work colleague to now like a fan.'"
While Chris and Billie’s friendship may not ever have the strength to lift Mjölnir, his cringe-worthy Oscars moment wasn’t the first time the actor confessed to snapping some pics with fellow celebs. In fact, he broke notorious Met Gala rules last year by taking “heaps of selfies.”
"Selfies everywhere,” he told E! News at the May event last year
