The silver BMW was parked on Union Street around 4.15pm on Tuesday when the child’s mother left it for a few minutes before returning to find it gone. Shortly after, the car was seen being driven back to where it had parked. A male youth then left the vehicle and made off. The male is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 9ins, and about 17 to 20 years old. He was wearing a dark top with the hood up and dark bottoms. Police are especially keen to speak to two women who were sitting on a bench nearby when the incident took place.
