counts of leaving the scene of personal injury according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan investigators say Campbell crashed his Volkswagen Jetta into another car at Boylston and Rogers streets he reportedly jumped onto the hood of the other vehicle and shouted at the driver That's when police say Campbell jumped into her vehicle and took off police said Campbell crashed the stolen car into a man walking on the sidewalk That pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital About 30 minutes later and miles away in Franklin drivers on I-495 started calling the Massachusetts State Police about a car stopped in the left lane with no lights on Investigators confirmed it had been stolen from Lowell earlier in the night officers formed a perimeter and half minutes into the game freshman Tommy Egan sniped one from the point that got through traffic to give the Indians an early 1-0 lead Billerica’s top line created magic as senior Danny Viscione knocked home a rebound off passes from Timmy Murphy and James Columbus to extend their lead to 2-0 Murphy was just able to sneak one in to send the Indians to the locker room up 3-0 The Indians picked up right where they left off in the second period as with 10:16 left a goal by Shawn Tierney made it a 4-0 game Auburn kept their same intensity and it paid off as Daniel Miedona scored to put the Rockets on the board they slashed Billerica’s lead in half as freshman Colson Caron tipped one home to make it 4-2 Billerica goaltender Steve MacIntosh was fabulous for the Indians all game and came up with some early third period saves to keep the Indians ahead by two The Indians put the game away on a Ryan Johnson rebound backhander with seven minutes to play * Canton also advanced to the MIAA Boys Division 2 semifinals with a 5-2 win over Milton After an early exit from last year’s tournament the Bulldogs (22-1-1) have won 20 straight games and have their eye on the prize Gavin O’Toole and Joey Ryan each scored in the first period while Jack Prince tallied both goals for the Wildcats to put the game in a 2-2 tie after one Teddy Shuman scored for the Bulldogs in the second as they were over We had so much support from our community and we are so happy to bring this championship home to them.” “We knew it was going to be a close game in the end,” said Billerica head coach Jim Egan “We are such a big hockey community and it has been quite some time since we have been able to capture the state title Stevie (MacIntosh) did what he has done all season and that is give us life He gave us the life to capture this victory and he is the MVP in my book.” Viscione tied the game for the second time as the Indians were not going to let up “We were able to show our resiliency,” said Egan “We just had not been put in that position too many times but it kind of feels good when you have a team like that They stuck together and continued to work for each other all season long.”
