Brady was on a podcast with Deion Sanders and Shedeur last year
The subject of 'Grown's' $400k Rolls-Royce was brought up with the legendary NFL QB telling Shedeur to focus on football.
“I think he needs to get his ass in the film room and spend as much time in there as possible and less time in the car,” Brady said.
While the future Hall-of-Famer threw it out there
Sanders' flashy ways are part of his brand with a reported $6.5 million NIL valuation
likely more than his entire rookie contract with the Browns
His love for the pricey chains was evident last year.

Brady knew he needed more work on the field to solidify himself as a top pick
Shedeur got to Cleveland early and wants to make a good impression in the community
There's no telling how much of a bag he fumbled by falling in the draft
Some projections say it cost him over $40 million by not going in the first round.

While Sanders' arrival in Cleveland has been noteworthy with the NFL's top jersey sales
he still has work to do in order to make the roster
Maybe Brady's advice hit home after waiting until Day 3 of the draft to find his NFL home.

BVSD and City coordinate organic turf management trainings for area land managers and the community
The City of Boulder and Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) have partnered to develop
test and share new approaches to landscape management aimed at enhancing the health
safety and community benefit of public green spaces
One element of this initiative is the expansion of turf management practices that reduce or eliminate the need for synthetic inputs like pesticides
To share knowledge and expand the impact of these practices
BVSD and the city will co-host a training session for local grounds maintenance managers
led by an internationally recognized leader in organic turf management
Community members interested in implementing organic turf management at home are invited to attend a presentation from the People and Pollinators Action Network (PPAN) at the Boulder Library’s Canyon Theater
Reducing synthetic chemical use in public landscapes has significant community benefits
reducing chemical runoff into vegetation and waterways and protecting natural systems that support health
“The protection and support of the health and safety of our students
and broader community is a fundamental goal of the school district,” said Rob Price
Assistant Superintendent for Operations at BVSD
“We have a long history of collaboration with the city and are excited to work together to advance the adoption of organic turf management practices that can enhance the health of both our school grounds and our school communities.”
The City of Boulder began transitioning to an ecosystem-based integrated pest management and organic turf management approach in the early 2000s
it is recognized nationally for its leadership in sustainable land management
BVSD has partnered with the city to align its landscape practices with similar standards
“This collaboration with BVSD allows us to share the best practices we have learned over the past 15 years,” said Brett KenCairn
Senior Policy Advisor for the city’s Nature-based Climate Solutions team
“It also supports a broader initiative to create more climate-resilient landscapes that provide cooling and protection against the escalating impacts of climate change.”
PPAN has also published a step-by-step guide to organic turf management

The Boulder Police Department shared body camera footage on X on Tuesday night that showed the response of Boulder Police and Fire Dispatcher Sara and Boulder Police Officer Smith at a car accident on Foothills Parkway
The single-car accident occurred on April 19 before 6 a.m
when a driver lost control of their vehicle due to icy roads.
Dispatcher Sara was driving home from work when she saw the site of the crash
She was the first person to respond to the incident.
The released body camera footage shows Officer Smith running towards the flipped car
who says that the single person inside the vehicle is conscious and breathing.
Smith climbs on top of the flipped car and opens the door to the driver’s seat
He offers his hand to the driver of the car
who takes it and safely climbs out of the vehicle and onto the ground
The driver did not appear to be seriously injured as a result of the crash
“I’m just glad I could help in someone’s time of need and that she was okay,” Dispatcher Sara said in the Boulder Police Department post
The identity of the person involved in the car crash was concealed in the video with a face-blurring effect
The police department praised Sara and Officer Smith for their teamwork and swift action

Print A young and rising culinary star in Southern California died in a freak accident in Hawaii
who said the tragedy occurred as she was fulfilling a long-held dream to hike to the Makaleha Falls waterfall in Kauai
Gianna Buzzetta, a 26-year-old executive pastry chef at the Jeune et Jolie restaurant in Carlsbad, was hiking the challenging waterfall trail with her boyfriend last week when disaster struck, according to a statement from her family
The Kauai Fire Department responded to a call for a hiker who was hit by a tumbling boulder while standing in the pool of the waterfall on March 23, the department said in a news release
who was found unconscious and bleeding from a head wound
Buzzetta’s parents then flew to Hawaii and were able to say their goodbyes before she died in the hospital, according to reporting from ABC10
he had fulfilled her dreams and it was the best day of her life,” her mother
In an online fundraiser to help cover Buzzetta’s medical fees and funeral expenses

Buzzetta helped the modern French restaurant achieve a Michelin star three times
“She brought such joy, intensity, passion and love to this restaurant and to our team,” said the restaurant on Instagram
“Her sudden loss leaves all of us heartbroken
and searching for ways to be of help to her family.”
Jeune et Jolie will be holding a special dinner on Monday to honor the memory of the young pastry chef
Restaurant owner John Resnick told Fox5 News that Buzzetta’s sudden death was a devastating blow for all who knew her and worked with her.
“She was a huge part of the team. Super creative, super talented, incredibly hardworking,” he told the station. “Our whole team loved working alongside her.”
In the fundraising post, Buzzetta’s family expressed their gratitude for the first responders in Hawaii and Buzzetta’s boyfriend, Connor Quinton, who they say “gave heroically every last effort to save her running a great distance desperately getting her help.”

Crews are beginning a repaving project on Highway 119 and Highway 7 this week that’s expected to last through mid-August
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — The Regional Transportation District wants to hear from drivers in Boulder County about its rapid transit bus plan
and this will guide our service hours and frequency as we go forward,” RTD Projects Manager Pauline Haberman said
The agency said the rapid transit bus route along CO 119 from Boulder to Longmont would help improve safety — the stretch has become the second most-traveled corridor in the county
The estimated $33 million project would also add a new Park-n-Ride option in north Longmont
a bikeway along the corridor and a busway on Coffman Street
“This is really about addressing safety and congestion while optimizing regional connectivity,” Haberman said
The online meetings are scheduled for the following times:

Flacco is more than likely the starter giving Sanders the opportunity to learn while he understands the system
This gives Shedeur the opportunity to understand the playbook and the nuances of the National Football League

Though Shedeur ultimately wasn’t a first-round selection, his presence in Boulder left a lasting mark. Alongside Shilo and their father, Colorado coach Deion Sanders
Shedeur helped reshape the identity of Colorado football during one of its most high-profile seasons in recent memory

Shedeur’s financial standing isn’t built solely on the NFL
he reportedly earned $6.5 million in NIL deals
working with high-profile brands like Google and Nike
That places him at the forefront of a broader movement—and positions Colorado as an innovator in NIL culture
where NIL collectives now play a massive role in shaping rosters and retaining top talent
Shedeur’s idea to reinvest NFL money back into his alma mater shows a strategic awareness of the unfolding landscape
Colorado is quickly becoming a case study in how NIL can be both progressive and personal. Alongside the Heisman Trophy winner and former Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter—who has become one of the most recognizable stars in the NFL—Shedeur represents a new generation of athletes who blend brand building with team building
These players aren’t just signing deals; they’re setting the tone for how NIL can be used to create sustainable success in the future

The Sanders family was the most talked-about group during last weekend’s NFL Draft
Much of the attention centered around Shedeur Sanders falling all the way to the fifth round
Deion Sanders was reportedly trying to get too involved in the draft process on behalf of his son
Cris Carter believes the Sanders family overplayed their hand
which contributed to Shedeur’s dramatic slide
“Shedeur and his family, they overplayed their hand,” Carter said. “Them thinking that he was in the same evaluation mode as Eli Manning
Them trying to narrow the teams that he was going to go to
made a bold move by firing his father as his agent and hiring a professional to represent him

Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp
“I think he’s a good football player,” Bowles said. “He’s a heck of a tackler and he knows the game very well — he can see the game very well.”
an interesting detail emerged regarding how the deal came together
Sanders wouldn’t have landed a contract with the Bucs if not for his agent’s persistence
“Sanders reportedly landed his recent deal with the Buccaneers after his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, ‘pleaded’ his case to Jason Licht,” NFL Rookie Watch posted.
Sanders now has a shot to make the Bucs’ 53-man roster
But it will ultimately come down to his performance on the field — not the efforts of his agent
Hunter Cookston began his career as a sportswriter for the Marion Tribune
where he covered local high school football
His passion for sports started at the age of four when he played his first year of tee ball
he developed a deep love for the Tennessee Volunteers and Atlanta Braves
Hunter is currently attending Tennessee Wesleyan University
where he is pursuing a BA in Sports Communications/Management
The slide was historic. The logic behind it was revealing. It was completely avoidable. However, about the time Philadelphia was selecting Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell, Shedeur Sanders became the recurring focus. Fans all over the NFL map complaining if the draft coverage was ever going to stop asking if this is the pick where Shedeur Sanders comes off the board.
Care of a Well Off Media video posted later that day, of the eldest Sanders child Deiondra was seen playing outside with the newest Sanders, baby Snow while Shedeur contemplated in the distance. Then the ‘draft phone’ rang. On the other line was Cleveland Browns General Manager Andrew Berry and Head Coach Kevin Stefanski
What followed next can only be described as the euphoric feeling for player and family when the call comes just before the sense of ‘all is lost’ creeps in
Once the call came in and Shedeur was off the board
the next step of the blueprint came through
The influx of fans feels like a Sanders staple at this point
The first domino was rapper Sexyy Red who tweeted her intentions to be at Browns games this season
Predictably followed by the Gillie and Wallo (longtime friends of the Sanders family) pick reaction with Wallo pledging his new loyalties to the Cleveland Browns
The CU Aunties and Prime fans have begun to show themselves in Browns circles and so far they have been rather pleasant acclimating themselves to a new fanbase.
Jeff Schudel asked “what kind of burden was it being Deion Sanders’ son?” Immediately pushing back Shedeur claiming
I feel like God makes everybody go down a path
The rest is on me.” When asked about the narratives and what’s been said about him
Shedeur leaned into wanting to prove Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski right by choosing him.
Aaron Goldhammer of ESPN Cleveland’s “Really Big Show” voiced concerns about Shedeur posting workout videos
Funny how that’s not an issue when every Clevelanders favorite player Nick Chubb does it
No problem if The Chief David Njoku does it
but because Shedeur has something to prove
most of that has quelled since learning that Shedeur made it to #1 in rookie jersey sales in a little under 72 hours
The jersey sales thing combined with the workout videos and the trip to John Marshall High School all converging at once to create a tone switch by most of the media
Ken Carman a long time Cleveland voice on the radio said the following and it’s a simple microcosm of the switch in feeling on Shedeur
If he’s conducting himself seriously and dammit guys
If he’s conducting himself seriously and he has more talent than Dillon Gabriel or shows more promise than Kenny Pickett

A major section of the response has been negative

We walk the Earth with our heads bowed — not in reverence
Bent to the blue-lit trance of our devices
Bent by the silent weight of fear disguised as normalcy
But if we were to look up — truly look up — we would see the atmosphere alive with movement
low bellies across a sky that is never still
Jet streams slicing through the upper troposphere
Because the truth we avoid is this: we are part of the system we are destabilizing. And we are responsible for it
Costa Rica — a mountaintop shrouded in cloud and myth
where the air carries the memory of what the Earth once was
Monteverde is one of the last vestiges of premontane cloud forest — a biome so rare it comprises less than 2.5% of tropical forests globally
global sustainable policy and ecology as a whole
I walked through corridors of strangler figs and epiphytes — plants growing on plants
I watched coatis scavenge among bromeliads and leafcutter ants carve highways through moss
I stood beneath trees that sequester carbon in the marrow of their wood
rooted in volcanic soil teeming with microbial life
I began to understand: biodiversity is not a luxury — it is a defense system
A resilient web of interdependence that keeps our atmosphere breathable
The most dangerous myth about the climate crisis is that people don’t care. They care
We adapt emotionally faster than the world is unraveling
We mistake our numbness for normalcy. But silence is not absence — it is the aftermath
It is a place where life refuses to die quietly
The biodiversity is staggering: over 100 species of mammals
2,500 vascular plants — all in a region smaller than a midsize American county
The ecological density is so rich it defies comprehension
Each square meter of soil is a symphony of decomposition and renewal
I studied under biologists who had dedicated their lives to this place. One had expressed distress over the extinction of the golden toad — Incilius periglenes — a species that vanished here
a neon ghost extinguished by the combined forces of climate warming and chytrid fungus
Another described climate tipping points not as abstractions
but as lived thresholds — the moment cloud cover shifts just enough to collapse the delicate hydrological cycles of an entire biome
I shared meals and mudslides with classmates — young
incandescent — who planted native trees like prayers and argued fiercely over environmental ethics until the rain turned our notebooks to pulp
We were not there to escape the world. We were there to confront it
We have been taught to think of nature as a backdrop. As scenery for human drama. But the biosphere is not a stage — it is a finely tuned system
We are 60% water. Our bones are built of calcium that once flowed through ancient seas.We inhale air exhaled by trees. There is no border between the human body and the biosphere—it is all one metabolism
Regeneration Is Possible — But Conditional
It is adaptive. It heals — when given the chance
Marine reserves see fish biomass increase up to 670% within a decade of protection.Rewilding projects across Europe have reintroduced wolves, beavers, lynx — restoring ecological balance to landscapes once stripped of it.When monocultures are replaced with regenerative agriculture, soil carbon begins to recover. Hydrology stabilizes. Insects return.
Regeneration is not fantasy. It is ecology. But it is conditional. And the condition is us.
We must stop pretending we are spectators. We are agents.
Monteverde did not awaken me gently. It broke me open.
I cried watching a hummingbird sip nectar from a flower that bloomed on a tree once scorched by fire. I touched the wet bark of a strangler fig and felt the blood-hum of something older than language. I looked into the eyes of people who were terrified — and organizing anyway.
It is not naive to care.It is naive to believe we can continue as we are.
The defining feature of being human is not dominion — it is responsibility. And if this generation is defined by anything, let it be this: we saw collapse and chose creation.
We pressure institutions. We divest from fossil fuels. We vote with ferocity. We rewild our lawns. We plant native species. We compost. We walk. We educate ourselves. We reject the culture of infinite growth on a finite planet. We treat climate action not as a sacrifice, but as a reclamation of meaning.
And above all, we teach ourselves — and our children — to look up.To track the moving sky.To remember that time is not infinite. That the planet is still offering herself to us.
This is not a burden we bear because we are virtuous. It is a gift we accept because we are alive.
Because the forests cannot lobby.Because the reefs cannot litigate.Because the ice sheets cannot scream. But we can.
A scorched silence.A data set of what once was.A future haunted by our failure to act.
Today we fought.Today we feel.Today we choose to love this Earth ferociously — until it heals.

but game tape paints a different picture as he dips
rips and swipes his way through and around obstacles," Andrew Ivins 247Sports' Andrew Ivins wrote about Kreul
"Has proven to be an extremely efficient mover that can plant and redirect with little waisted motion
Owns a near complete menu of moves and is quick to cycle them as he likes to keep opponents guessing."
