His size isn’t what stood out even though being 5’9” and 300 pounds in the offseason is something out of a Batman comic - it was the clarity
and intensity with which Jay broke down a life built around mastering the craft of bodybuilding
The man didn’t just lift weights or build muscle
scaled it and came out the other side healthy and with his body intact
What impressed me most was how calculated and intelligent his approach was. Jay was training two to four times a day at his peak, eating seven or eight meals, pounding 1,000 grams of carbs daily while balancing a training volume that is almost unsustainable more mere mortals. Even at the age of 48, he still wakes up at 5am, does his fasted cardio, and trains - zero joint pain, no major injuries and never an excuse.
He didn’t just chase greatness, he found a way to engineer it for longevity.
We dove into legacy, his rivalries on the stage and how rare it is today to see the battle he had between he and Ronnie in today’s world. Jay admitted that without Ronnie, he might’ve been “great”, but probably not legendary. That kind of friction pushing him to the absolute edge. He credits that rivalry as one of the greatest gifts in his life.
Jay’s takeaways weren’t just for aspiring bodybuilders. They were for anyone who's trying to carve out elite performance in their own lane - entrepreneurs, athletes, parents you name it. Be consistent. Avoid shortcuts. Build a structure you can sustain. Monitor your health. Think long game.
Whether you’re a Jay Cutler fan, a fan of bodybuilding, or just someone who respects the grind, this episode is a masterclass in what it takes to build greatness from the inside out. No hype, just reps, and years of focus and dedication.

Mark Cutler trains Burnham Square for the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs
When the Kentucky Derby (G1) field loads into the starting gate at Churchill Downs May 3
20 jockeys will be envisioning their path to victory
When the lucky rider who succeeds hits the finish line
his photo will be taken from countless angles and be published
An exercise rider for trainer Ian Wilkes, Cutler had ridden Burnham Square during his 2-year-old training and has reunited with the horse the team calls "Burny" when the 3-year-old returned to Kentucky from his winter in Florida
Cutler left school with aspirations to be a jockey
Leaving his native New England for Florida
he worked at Cardinal Hill Farm for Norman Casse
father of dual Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse
where he galloped at tracks like Suffolk Downs and Rockingham Park from 1989-2003
As the New England Thoroughbred circuit began to shut down
Cutler made the move to Kentucky and joined the team of Hall of Fame trainer Carl Nafzger
who was co-training with Wilkes at the time
Cutler became the regular exercise rider for Street Sense
winner of the 2006 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and 2007 Kentucky Derby
he's hoping he can prepare another runner to wear the roses on the first Saturday in May
Sign up for BloodHorse Daily
BloodHorse: What is Burnham Square like to ride in the morning
Mark Cutler: He's a nice horse to ride
We didn't give him a day off this week because if he gets a day off
he starts kicking the stall and makes my job difficult
BH: Is there anything specific you do to help him relax on the track
He tends to begin his works pulling with his head low and then gets into a groove as he goes
MC: He tries to take off and get going and do too much early
I've got to keep him a little slowed down
he starts to relax and just falls into a nice rhythm and can finish the gallop nice and relaxed
BH: What led you to become an exercise rider
MC: My mom had horses when I was a kid; she took me to the races
I started at Suffolk Downs and Rockingham Park
which unfortunately there's no more New England racing
That was one of the things that forced me here (to Churchill Downs)
and I had to go somewhere—Saratoga or Churchill
I wanted to find a Derby horse; that was my dream
I started working for Carl Nafzger in 2004
I actually quit one winter because I was offered a really good job in Ocala that I knew was a bad idea
can I please have my job back?' That was the year that Street Sense showed up in 2006 that spring
BH: When you started riding Street Sense
how did you see him grow and develop as he approached the 2007 Kentucky Derby
MC: I first got on him in early summer as a 2-year-old
Some other different riders were getting on him
One rider wasn't getting along with him
I'd really like to get on him.' I just became his rider
He's a much different horse than Burny
That's Burny's great quality: his stamina
He can just keep going and going and going
are there any similarities between Street Sense and Burnham Square
and it would take him 10-15 minutes to get there because he was checking everything out
but it's just a different aura about him
Burny is a little bit of a clown sometimes
He's going to the track trying to bite the pony
BH: You're on these horses every single morning
but what is it like being in the stands seeing that work payoff when Street Sense wins races like the Breeders' Cup Juvenile and Kentucky Derby
You put all that work into them and just ask
is he going to get hurt?' There's so many things that can happen
It's nerve-wracking and fun all at the same time
BH: You rode Burnham Square in the fall as a 2-year-old, you were not with him during the winter at Gulfstream Park
Did you see a change in him when he got back?
horses would come near him and he'd jump away
That's one of the reasons he needs the blinkers
he's going to get the job done Saturday
BH: Working for trainers like Carl Nafzger and Ian Wilkes
is there anything you've picked up from them that helped make you a better exercise rider
I've had other trainers like that in the past
but it's a little more important with some of these horses
I had already been riding quite a while when I got here, and the things that I do
BH: Wilkes was right alongside Nafzger for that win with Street Sense
but is now trying to win a Derby under his own name
What does it mean for you and the whole Wilkes team to be back in the Derby spotlight all these years later
it's really special because I quit riding five years ago
I decided that I didn't want to do it anymore
For me to come back and them give me the job back
BH: When you were off for those five years
MC: I have another job that I go to after (training)
maybe I should go do that full-time and give this up
I want to give it a shot.' I came down here (to Churchill Downs) on a Sunday morning two years ago in April and see if I could find a job with somebody
and I asked him if he knew anyone that needed a rider
"Ian just had a guy quit yesterday." I walked over and said I'd like to work for you again
EberhardtMark Cutler watching Burnham Square during his bath
You leave Wilkes and come back—did you get another Derby winner when you came back
BH: There's probably not too many exercise riders who have had the chance to prepare two Kentucky Derby winners
I wish everyone could experience this; what it's like to be around a horse like this
We do this every day with all kinds of different horses
I'm also a hockey player; I love hockey
I can just imagine how those guys feel when they win that
This horse (Burnham Square) makes me work a little harder. If we do get this
When I first came down here that Sunday to find a job
What if we could do it again?' Here we are

2024 - The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) presented an update during the October 16
Town Council Meeting on the Biscayne Bay Coastal Wetlands (BBCW) Phase 1 project
focusing on the Cutler Wetlands Flow-way component
Several residents have inquired about recent clearing of trees and plants along SW 87th Ave and SW 232 Street
and we are providing the following information to address these concerns
Project Overview: The Biscayne Bay Coastal Wetlands project is a key component of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP)
This multi-phase project is designed to restore freshwater flows to Biscayne Bay and improve the coastal wetland ecosystem
The Cutler Wetlands project specifically includes features such as the construction of the S-701 Pump Station
and a spreader swale system to improve freshwater distribution
Construction began in November 2022 and is anticipated to be completed by September 2025
Tree and Vegetation Clearing: As part of this project
tree and plant clearing is required in certain areas to facilitate the construction of the necessary infrastructure
This clearing is taking place along SW 87th Ave and SW 232 Street to support the C-701 conveyance channel and C-702 spreader canal
The South Florida Water Management District has obtained the necessary permits from Miami-Dade County’s Division of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) and the State of Florida to clear invasive vegetation in these areas
These efforts are crucial for the proper functioning of the flow-way
which will help restore water flow and improve habitat conditions in the area
Project Benefits: The project will not only help restore freshwater flow into Biscayne Bay
but it will also play a critical role in preserving and rehydrating the natural mangroves that line the coastal areas of our town
protecting the Town of Cutler Bay from storm surges and other natural threats
Recreational Features: Once the Cutler Wetlands project is completed
it will also provide new recreational opportunities for residents and visitors
The project will include a bird-watching facility
allowing nature enthusiasts to observe the local wildlife in its restored habitat
walking and bicycle paths will be constructed throughout
offering scenic routes for outdoor activities and fostering a greater connection to the natural beauty of the area
These features are designed to promote eco-friendly recreation while preserving the integrity of the wetlands
Additional Information: For more details, please refer to the presentation slides from the recent Town Council Meeting
which provide an in-depth look at the project’s features and current construction progress
You can also view the recording of the presentation below
Contact Information: If you have any questions or concerns
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to restore and preserve our natural environment through this important project
which will safeguard the town’s coastline and contribute to long-term environmental resilience

as Cutler Bay’s origins are tied to housing built for Homestead Air Reserve personnel
Veterans Park symbolizes the Town’s gratitude and respect for those who have protected our freedoms at home and abroad
the Town of Cutler Bay received a significant boost to this project
securing $1.5 million in funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)’s Florida Communities Trust program as part of its 2023-2024 funding cycle
The FDEP grant marked a significant achievement in the town’s ongoing effort to expand and enhance recreational and green spaces for its residents
The campaign was lauded for its creativity
utilizing internal resources to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the preservation of green spaces
and video materials aimed at engaging the community and fostering environmental stewardship
the town not only preserved the Veterans Park site but also engaged residents
and educational institutions in the effort
The park’s acquisition and preservation highlight the town’s dedication to maintaining its natural spaces while honoring the nation’s veterans
This project exemplifies the town’s broader commitment to environmental stewardship
Cutler Bay: Leading the Way in Environmental Stewardship
residents now collectively own a total of 28 acres of land
making them the largest landowners in Cutler Bay
This acquisition has not only preserved over 618 residential units from being developed but also significantly alleviated potential traffic in the area
The Town of Cutler Bay remains committed to proactive environmental initiatives that safeguard green spaces
support resilience against climate challenges
and enhance the quality of life for future generations
“These parks represent much more than just land,” stated Mayor Tim Meerbott
“They are a testament to the power of community
we are ensuring that Cutler Bay remains a vibrant
and connected town for generations to come.”

Four Michigan Law students recently gathered with other top students from prestigious law schools around the country to discuss current issues of international law at the three-day Salzburg Cutler Fellows Program in Washington
The core of the conference was the day-long workshop for students to share their research papers with students and faculty from peer schools and gain feedback as they refine their papers
The 56 students in attendance were divided into six groups of students as well as faculty members based on the topic of their paper
students heard from various speakers on topics ranging from human rights and sustainable development to international law during times of political peril.
The seminar is a chance to see our students live the values and standards of excellence that we try to inculcate at Michigan—in their presentations of their own innovative research as much as in how they engage with the projects of their peers.”
Read further for specifics about the Michigan Law students
and their takeaways from the conference.
With her interest in international law—specifically
the investment treaty regime and investor-state arbitration—Vivian Fernandez focuses her paper on investor-state disputes where foreign investment has caused tensions between foreign companies and local communities
who are often indigenous peoples.
“This field is really fascinating to me because of the fact patterns that are underlying the disputes and the various players that are involved,” she said
“I have been able to immerse myself within that space through my academics
and I will be able to carry over what I’ve learned into my career.”
who will work in the New York office of Gibson Dunn after graduation
was part of the Salzburg conference’s international economic law group
where the majority of the papers dealt with international investment and trade issues.
She said that she valued the input she received from fellow students and faculty on her paper and appreciated being able to broaden her network of others who share her interest
She also appreciated the opportunities beyond working with her specific group
“I really enjoyed the Knowledge Cafe,” she said
“We got to talk with a variety of different mentors who have a wide range of professional experiences
They were able to discuss their career trajectories and provided really insightful advice as to how to proceed with our careers.”
researches the operationalizing of international rape laws in Southeast Asia
particularly the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)
Her work is done through comparative international human rights law study by focusing on three countries that
practice predominantly different religions: Indonesia
“The goal is to see how much socioculture and religion play a role in an international law being operationalized
CEDAW requires a state to train judges in gender sensitivity when it comes to dealing with gender violence
I want to see to what extent this training actually worked and whether one religion is more progressive than the others.”
Although she was once a corporate lawyer in Indonesia
Gunawan hopes to pursue an academic career and has long been a feminist activist
co-authoring the book Feminism Nusantara.
She said that one of her major takeaways from the conference
where she was part of the human rights group
was hearing from experts on how to publish in legal academia
such as shorter blog pieces rather than long journal articles that can take years to be published
She also valued the networking opportunities
“It not only was a place to network with other universities,” she said
“but also with the other Michigan students
because we actually became really close during this event.”
Dmytro Soldatenko’s research focus on collective countermeasures and collective enforcement of international law starts from a very personal place—he is a native of Ukraine.
he is looking at the array of nonforcible means of influence by third parties on states that violate international law
“An ongoing debate is Russian assets abroad,” he said
“And the debate is whether Western countries can freeze those assets and seize them
and some people are advocating that collective countermeasures are allowed under international law
states are often hesitant to use them.”
while collective countermeasures are permissible under international law
if there is no clear framework for their application
states are hesitant to use this tool of enforcement.
One of the faculty members in his small group specializes in the area of countermeasures
so he said he gained valuable feedback from her for his research
few others in the group had a similar project
but that worked to his advantage.
“It generally does not really matter whether the people are experts in this field
because as long as people have a general understanding of international law
“It’s even better to have the view outside the narrow topic
Brooke Tatum transferred to Michigan Law last fall and was thrilled to attend the conference along with so many others who had deeper backgrounds in international law
She noted that she values the input she received on her paper
which focuses on the international right to health and vaccine equity across Africa
She derived inspiration for the paper from her fall 2024 class on Africa and the Global Legal System
“I wrote a research paper that I will now focus more on international law and the actions of international organizations,” she said
The theme of the paper meshed well with the conference theme
International Law: Comparative Voices and Viewpoints
As part of the conference’s human rights group
she received substantial feedback that helped provide a stronger framework for her paper
I’ve only taken a couple of international law classes
whereas some of the other students are LLMs who have already practiced international law and others are 3Ls who’ve taken more classes,” she said
“So just getting substantive feedback on my executive summary was really helpful.”

John valued the truth – giving it and receiving it
devoted to his vocation and his charitable avocations
taking the gifts of his mentors and returning them many times over to his many and deep friendships
and many more will miss him deeply and the profoundly positive impacts he made in this world
to John Andrew and Salomea Regina Veronica (“Sally V”) Smolen in 1946
He valued his “South Omaha Boy” roots to the very end
He was an accomplished and unabashed accordion virtuoso
a skill he kept current his entire life and one he shared with his family and friends whenever the opportunity arose
He had the quintessential 1950s upbringing – dogs he named “Spot,” pickup baseball
his Polish extended family gatherings with overwhelming amounts of food
and being in just enough trouble with his Catholic grade school’s nuns to make life interesting
Mary’s Catholic grade school in South Omaha
where he was class president and an outstanding (All-American) football player under the famous Coach Don Leahy
winning the Nebraska state championship twice
He was recruited to play linebacker on the Colorado State University football team
leaving to join the United States Marine Corp in 1966
He served honorably with the 1st Marine Division as a Force Reconnaissance scout
including time with his fellow Marines in Vietnam
He was extremely proud of his status as a Marine
and frequently ensured all knew that one is never an “ex-Marine”; once a Marine
he completed his college education in Omaha
in Business Administration from Creighton University
and thereafter receiving a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from St
He was a life-long devotee to Catholic education as a result of the life-long Catholic – and largely Jesuit – education he received
He left us with deep devotion to the Jesuit order and the “men for others” lives that they lead
he began his professional career at Santa Rosa Medical Center in San Antonio
His career led him to positions in Sioux City
a physician’s group in his hometown of Omaha
ending his career and retiring as Chief Executive Officer of Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg
devoting over forty years to health care administration
much of it prominently and deliberately Catholic healthcare
Paula Marmion “Molly” Smolen in 1966 in Omaha
on a blind date thirty days after his enlistment and prior to his call into the Marine Corps
starting their 55-year married life together
John and Paula have nine outstanding grandchildren
John and Paula also enjoyed the gift of long and deep friendships from every town and every phase of their life together
the family mass movement and spirituality groups at Cure of Ars in Mission
and ultimately with the Ignatian Volunteer Corps in Denver
John increased his devotion and call to service to the poor and the unhoused
from their children’s and grandchildren’s sports
to the many other formal and informal groups
He was active in his children’s outdoor clubs/affiliations
rising to leadership positions in Boy Scouts
particularly in the mountains of his beloved Colorado
He was never tired of a view of the Front Range
He was a devotee to the wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park
John and Paula spent much of their retirement with their long time companion vizsla
in a camper as much and as often as they could
John also greatly enjoyed a fine meal and marked his travels and occasions with a good dinner and a toast to his fellow Marines and his family
he never broke 100 (something that did not bother him in the least)
John loved the “outlaw” country music of Jerry Jeff Walker
John rappelled out of UH-1 Huey helicopters behind enemy lines and in the threat of enemy fire
John literally tackled sides of beef into refrigerated trucks at the Omaha Stockyards to earn money for school (and for dates)
He would inflict “wet willies” with impunity
He frequently advised hosts at restaurants that it was someone’s birthday
He always asked for the waiter/waitresses first name
He probably loved playing practical jokes a little too much
He loved watching boxing with a Foster’s oilcan
singing the national anthem proudly and out loud
kizka and fresh Polish sausages from Frank Stoysich Meats in Omaha
Arturo 858 maduros cigars with a non-peaty Scotch whiskey
the Austin Healy Mark3000 (and convertibles generally)
RSM; all of his children; and all of his grandchildren: Joseph
5:00-7:00PM with a VIGIL SERVICE at 7:00PM
INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors
a Memorial Service is being planned at Regis University for a later date
John was a wonderful person (St Marys classmate) always a friend we will kept John in our prayers
While it had been many years since I had seen him
the memories from the Smolen house are still there
I’ll be praying for John and his family in this difficult time
friend and role model in unusual developments we witnessed together providing excellence in patient care
I lost contact but never stopped thinking about our many deep and philosophical conversations
The world has John now in his freedom form
where he is even better able to serve those he values
My condolances to John’s family,I can recall all the family parties that he and I attended during our chilhood.A person I am proud to say he was my friend and cousin
So sorry to hear about John’s passing
John and I go back a long ways to Sioux City
IA where we both worked at Marian Health Center
He always remembered his Marine comrades who died in Vietnam on the anniversary of the founding of the Marines
John always displayed positivity even when times were tough
He took on challenges with a ‘can do’ spirit and did so even as his health deteriorated
From all of those at the Ignatian Spirituality Program at Regis University
John and all the Smolens are in our prayers
We were workingmates for a good number of those years
I am decimated by the news of his passing
Molly my God comfort you at this unbelievable time
My wife Judy and I send our condolences to the entire family
You were lucky to have this man all these years
I will be sipping whisky and “smoking” a cigar from your Christmas gift this year – “cigar holder whisky glass”
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
most abundant prayers and heartfelt love to Sally
I know that he is now enjoying an everlasting reward which we can only hope to attain one day with him and our Lord
May his memory be a blessing and may God bless all of you
I am truly with you in spirit through these difficult days
and the whole Smolen family may eternal rest be granted unto John
We ask the Lord to let perpetual light shine upon him
I always loved John’s Facebook posts and his positive outlook
We knew him though Scouts and Cure of Ars parish
now and forever and may our Heavenly Father hold him lovingly in His arms
I send my sympathy to the Smolen family for this great loss
I worked with John for several years at St Joseph Health Center
and he was supportive as I pursued my educational goals at UT southwestern
Although it is a shock to hear of his death
I am also pleased that his suffering is over
I offer my condolences to the entire Smolen family
the love I feel for John and Molly is endless
So too is my sorrow for the loss of John who will always be a hero in my heart
We served side by side at the St Elizabeth sandwich line
he pinched me as he walked to the men’s room during Sunday mass
I will miss him fiercely and am so grateful for our brief friendship
My tears as I write this tell me what a huge blessing was my brief friendship with John – all too brief
His shining love for his needy brothers and sisters
What a gift to many others before coming to the Regis U to care and share his pleasant personality
My first cousin alerted me to John’s obituary
Our paternal grandmother was Konstancia Lassek
Sending condolences and wishing the family peace
Jean and I send our love and condolences and look forward to being with you tomorrow at St
John was a lovely fellow – so grateful for your example as an Ignatian Volunteer and patron
Paula and Family – so sorry for your loss
but this snow and cold is keeping us in KC
But our prayers are with you now and always
So very sorry for the loss of this wonderful man and father
His greatness shines through and carries on in those he leaves behind
While I have only met Mr Smolen a couple handfuls of times
still tear up thinking about John being with me only in spirit now
I tear up with singing the National Anthem
I wish I’d known these things when we worked together at WMMC
I remember being amazed at how well he could dance at the Christmas Party
He was very good at pouring oil on troubled water
I worked with and for John at Western Missouri Medical Center
He was a great person and I respected him very much

Four students represent Harvard Law at the 2025 Salzburg Global Cutler Fellows Program
Aine Adachi LL.M. ’25, Loren Ben David ’25, Taqbir Huda LL.M. ’25, and Sean O’Connell ’25 represented Harvard Law School this year at the 2025 Salzburg Global Cutler Fellows Program. Launched in 2012, as part of the Salzburg Global Seminar, the program brings together students from 14 leading U.S. law schools to foster skills and forge connections through their common interest in international law. Mark Wu
serves as the program’s academic chair and accompanied the students from HLS
“International Law: Comparative Voices and Viewpoints,” convened in Washington
each fellow prepared a research paper on an emerging issue in public or private international law
the students and a committee of law professors reviewed each paper in a workshop setting and offered advice on how to refine the work for possible publication
the Harvard Law students examined extraterritoriality and its implications for transnational legal justice; the intersection of international humanitarian law and international human rights law during the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq; the right to reparation for human rights violations and the ensuing remedial obligations of the state; and the impact of international financial institutions on the adoption of banking standards in developing countries
O’Connell appreciated the opportunity to share his paper on banking standards with other law students interested in international law and with law professors who have specific expertise in international law and economics
“When you are focusing on a very specialized topic
getting such a broad range of feedback is particularly useful in pointing out areas where there might be gaps in your research
suggesting a different way to approach a problem or argument
or helping you improve your writing style,” he said
This year’s program also included several panels
on topics ranging from “Achieving Human Rights and Sustainable Development under International Law: African Perspectives” to “International Law under the Second Trump Administration,” as well as a Knowledge Café
where the fellows found opportunities to discuss personal goals and potential career paths with mentors engaged in public service
Several Harvard Law alumni participated as speakers and mentors
“What was striking to me is that there are a lot of passionate and level-headed people who understand the criticisms of international law
but also believe in its spirit and promise

associate professor from the Department of Accountancy
recently had their book review, “Attached and Interested,” accepted for publication in the Quinnipiac Law Review
Their analysis examines the book “For-Profit Philanthropy: Elite Power and the Threat of Limited Liability Companies
and Strategic Corporate Giving,” written by Dana Brakman Reiser and Steven A
The book discusses modern philanthropic practices such as LLC-based philanthropy
donor-advised funds and strategic corporate giving
exploring how these approaches challenge the traditional charity models and the regulatory framework known as the “grand bargain” – a compromise in which private foundations received tax benefits in exchange for adhering to strict regulations aimed to balance charitable incentives with accountability
Cowan and Cutler acknowledge the book’s valuable insights by agreeing with the posed concerns about donor-advised funds
they argue that LLCs do not necessarily violate the grand bargain since they lack tax benefits as well as emphasizing the claim that strategic corporate giving is a new and harmful trend

She arrived 5 days before her due date and then appeared suddenly before her doctor arrived at the delivery room
All was good as she opened her big eyes to look at the world
who turned on that bright light?” She spread her own light as she grew into adulthood
River City Round Up and Hastings Choir were among the many singing commitments she made
eventually she stopped the wedding gigs because she said she did not want to become known as the “Wedding Singer.” We all miss her beautiful
Christine and Deborah loved playing with her and were excellent babysitters-she loved the attention they gave their little sister
With 13 years between her sisters and her
Andrea said she often felt like an only child
Perhaps that drove her to excel in school; she was creative and committed to doing her best on the job
After graduating high school at Ralston Andrea attended Hastings College on a music scholarship and graduated with a degree in Marketing from UNO
Her employment with nonprofit organizations such as NORS and Madonna Mobi Alliance focused on promotion of the service and on fundraising
She always encouraged family and friends to support these services
Isaac at a work volleyball event in spring of 2019
They became fast friends and after a year and a half began dating
Then after another year and a half they couldn’t wait to get married which they did on July 15th
supported each other in every way and their love never diminished even one bit
Andrea had an affinity for special needs kids
She was able to develop excellent relationships with them which blossomed and brought joy to them individually and to her
In that way she also served as an excellent role model for others
She lives in our hearts and memories even if we cannot feel her there
May her bright light continue to shine in those of us lucky enough to know her
Roger and I send our deepest sympathies to you and yours
friend and so deeply saddened to learn this news
She was truly a treasure and special person
Andrea smile was a ray of sunshine and her fun loving personality made you feel so comfortable around her
I went to middle school and high school with Andrea
I am so sorry to hear this news and greatly sorry for your loss
