training facility and temporary soccer stadium for Denver’s new National Women’s Soccer League team
according to documents presented to the Cherry Creek Board of Education this week
The proposal could bring professional women’s soccer matches to the suburban city for several years
while also establishing permanent facilities for the team and a new athletics complex for the district
In the long term, the team plans to build a new stadium and recreation district in Denver’s Baker neighborhood
the rest of the team’s plans are coming into view
Parts of the project will be privately financed by the team
while the school district could contribute tens of millions of dollars to fund other portions
The team is planning the following projects in Centennial
The NWSL team is set to compete starting in March 2026 and is expected to play in the temporary stadium outlined in this project.
The proposal appeared on the school board’s agenda for a special meeting this Wednesday
The memorandum of understanding that will go before the school board would set parts of the project in motion
All of the planned facilities would sit on a large undeveloped property at the intersection of South Potomac Street and East Fremont Avenue
It would stand just across the street from the Denver Broncos’ training facility
as well as Dove Valley Regional Park.
The city of Centennial owns the 43-acre property and would lease sections out separately to the school district and to the team
The leases will be for a “nominal,” or very low
The headquarters and training facility would be privately financed by the team
But other costs would be split between the team and the schools
The district would contribute $15 million from its voter-approved 2024 bond measure to build the training fields and share-use fields
while the team would contribute money for design
The district has extra bond money available due to strong demand for the debt it issued
The district and the team would split the design
construction and development costs for the stadium
which is estimated to cost $20 million to $25 million.
The training ground will be available for Cherry Creek School District use
After the NWSL moves into its permanent stadium
the new stadium may be reconfigured by the district
The team will be largely responsible for maintaining and operating the fields for 20 years
sharing the revenues with the school district.
The team will operate the stadium for at least two years
though it could also extend for up to five more years
the NWSL team will donate $100,000 to the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation
The district will also receive 500 free tickets per season
The team will donate team merchandise and equipment for district fundraising events
and it will make staff and players available for student opportunities
and Cherry Creek School District for comment but has not heard back from any party.
The city bought the land from the U.S. Postal Service in 2011 for $3.3 million, according to property records.

Arizona Department of Transportation crews have a few planned projects that may impact your travel along Valley freeways this weekend
According to the ADOT website
drivers should plan around these restrictions:

the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is prepared to welcome dove hunters to many of its wildlife areas for the Sept
“Doves key in on bare ground with seeds because 99 percent of their diet is seeds,” said Ian Dwight
an environmental scientist with CDFW’s Upland / Small Game Unit
“This is something our wildlife areas know very well and will often (conduct) mowing practices and grow food plots so that there are ample opportunities in the beginning of the season for dove.”
milo and millet are the most common grain crops planted at CDFW wildlife areas in preparation for the dove opener
The crop fields benefit many other wildlife species throughout the fall and winter
after fields have been harvested in August by a lot of farmers
doves will be attracted to safflower and sunflower first before they feed out on the winter-planted cereal grains,” Dwight said
Migratory mourning dove and white-winged dove populations concentrate in California’s agricultural areas in the late summer where seed crops are farmed and harvested in abundance
This makes CDFW wildlife areas in the Sacramento Valley
Imperial Valley and the Palo Verde Valley prime destinations for public land dove hunters
Wildlife areas where habitat has been prepared to attract dove in 2024 include, but are not limited to, the Upper Butte Basin, Gray Lodge, Yolo Bypass, Oroville and Spenceville wildlife areas in the Sacramento Valley and the North Grasslands, Mendota and Los Banos wildlife areas in the San Joaquin Valley.
Southern California offers some of the best dove hunting anywhere in the nation. The top public land spots with prepared crop fields include CDFW’s Imperial Wildlife Area, the San Jacinto Wildlife Area, the Palo Verde Ecological Reserve with additional opportunities provided by CDFW and partners at the Imperial County Upland Game Fields (PDF)
1 dove opener falls on a weekend for the first time in five years
which means the single busiest hunting day of the year in California is likely to see even more kids
families and groups of hunters afield compared to weekday openers in the recent past
Hunters are strongly encouraged to review the dove hunting regulations and those governing CDFW lands available online: 2024-2025 California Waterfowl, Upland Game, and Public Use of Department Lands Regulations (PDF)
The second half of California’s dove season begins Nov
Many CDFW wildlife areas are open to dove hunting in the second half of the season on designated waterfowl shoot days when a Type A wildlife area pass will be required to enter
Additional late-season dove hunts are offered through CDFW’s SHARE program
which provides public hunting opportunities on private farms and ranches throughout the state
Minimum dove hunting requirements are a valid hunting license and upland game bird validation (validation not required for Junior Hunting License holders)
and plenty of water for the typically hot weather
Sunscreen and insect repellant are other must-have items for dove hunters
For more information and resources on dove hunting, CDFW’s Advanced Hunter Education (YouTube) program has videos to help. CDFW’s R3 program has additional resources and videos for newcomers to dove hunting
Dove hunters may also encounter a banded dove. As of Aug. 27, CDFW staff and volunteers throughout the state had banded about 2,700 mourning dove and 127 white-winged dove. Hunters are asked to report their banded birds to the U.S. Geological Survey to help with further dove research

Ask anyone who has been in Denver for any length of time what the Denver Broncos’ practice facility is called and you’ll likely get the answer
technically that is no longer correct…
The area the facility is located in is Dove Valley
and like “Mile High” in the name of the stadium
it’ll probably always still be called by that name by many fans forever
but if you want to get technical you’ll have to start calling it Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit
The team in turn announced Wednesday (May 29) their practice facility and headquarters will now go by that name
The Broncos also announced construction on their new training center headquarters will begin after training camp and their preseason concludes Aug
The new headquarters is scheduled to be completed in advance of the 2026 season
is celebrating its growth in 2024 and promising eight new locations by 2026
As one of the “leading developers in the desert southwest” for luxury garage spaces
Toy Barn’s storage units allow Valley residents to store numerous “toys” – cars
the company plans to have 700,000 square feet and 543 units available
After the business’s first successful setup in Peak View Community opened in 2010
opening seven more properties across 14 years: Lone Mountain
Two additional facilities are set to open: Chandler Airpark North this fall and Dove Valley in 2026
Jason Phillips and his father opened the first Toy Barn in 2010 after learning about the demand from downsizing homeowners and people seeking more space to store their boats
“We are proud to offer ‘toy’ owners the unique and customizable space they need for proper storage and look forward to providing even more storage communities across the Valley in the future,” he said
Each unit in the garage has a minimum of 20-foot ceilings
Buyers can also choose to use the Wi-Fi capabilities and add loft space
With individualized flooring and paint options
these privately owned spaces can suit the desires of any customer looking to store their toys
Units are governed by CC&Rs and an owner’s association
Every Toy Barn has an exquisitely crafted clubhouse with lounge seating
and communal gathering areas for socializing or private events
The Toy Barn community at Lone Mountain connects monthly at a Cars & Coffee event where family and friends can mingle and chat about their favorite makes
Garage bays at the Chandler Airpark North and Dove Valley properties are now available
Toy Barn prices start in the high $300s and vary based on size and location
owners can “build equity in their units and re-sell them.” For more information
Plans to complete Dove Valley Park (DVP) have been unanimously approved by the South Derbyshire District Council
paving the way for over 700,000 sq ft of new employment space
The 35-acre site aims to create new jobs and marks the final phase of the 200-acre employment park along the A50 in South Derbyshire
Dove Valley Park, a subsidiary of Clowes Developments, along with IMA Architects, submitted plans to South Derbyshire District Council for the completion of the park last May.
The approved development will add four industrial units of varying sizes to meet market demand
providing a hub for businesses in the area with meeting spaces
Marc Freeman director at Clowes Developments said: “On Tuesday 18th February
our detailed planning application for the final phase of development at Dove Valley Park was unanimously approved at the committee
This will not only bring over 700,000 sq ft of employment space to Foston but also provide an Innovation Centre with essential amenities
a central hub for businesses and an opportunity for startup businesses at the thriving business park
“We are delighted to be able to press on with construction which will see Dove Valley Park fully developed
We are aiming to start works on site before the end of the year.”
Developed in consultation with the University of Derby
the centre will offer support for start-ups and collaboration opportunities for local enterprises
senior land and planning surveyor at Clowes Developments said: “We have worked closely with both South Derbyshire District Council and Derbyshire County Council to research existing routes
this also included canvassing opinions of current occupiers on the existing service to DVP and how it could be improved to meet the needs of its users
Dove Valley Park Limited has been able to identify the requirements to help grow and develop the existing service
The service will see additional stops through Derby City meaning DVP will become even more accessible to current and future occupiers and their employees.”
— Broncos Country expressing a renewed sense of hope and optimism on Day 1 of Training Camp on Friday
“I feel optimistic every year,” said lifelong Broncos fan Manny Arroyo who was at camp with his two sons and his nephew
“I’m glad to be out of the Texas heat,” Aaron Arroyo said
I’m going to see what the team has to bring this year
There’s a lot of new energy – a lot of new people – especially with the draft picks
The Broncos haven’t made the playoffs since winning Super Bowl 50 back in 2015
Fans feel like the time has come to at least compete
with head coach Sean Payton now entering his second year
“I came in just to actually watch them practice,” said Kyle Green who flew in from Cleveland for training camp
Green started following the Broncos way back in the ‘80’s
“Way back during ‘The Drive’ with John Elway against Cleveland.”
There’s a confidence here in Dove Valley amongst fans that a playoff berth is not outside the realm of possibility
With their rookie quarterback and what they did.”
“My prediction is that we’ll hopefully make it to the playoffs,” said 11-year-old Broncos fan Owen Husum
“But we’ll probably get sent home first or second round
It takes a couple years to rebuild the team and get us to a championship contender.”
“I think we can make a strong push for the division,” Green said
July 26 — and unless something has changed internally
the plan is still to hold an open competition for the starting quarterback job
Broncos insider Woody Paige of the Denver Gazette is pounding the table for Sean Payton to dispense with the 'competition' farce
and anoint rookie first-round Bo Nix as the starter from "the jump."
"The Broncos must stop playing games before beginning to play games
"Jarrett Stidham didn’t participate in trips with the Patriots and the Raiders to the Great Northwest
and Zach Wilson was inactive for the Jets game there," Paige wrote
What happens next on the Broncos beat? Don't miss out on any news and analysis! Take a second, sign up for our free newsletter, and get breaking Broncos news delivered to your inbox daily!
Payton is orchestrating this rebuild the old-fashioned way — with his handpicked first-rounder in tow
And what credible NFL analyst believes Stidham is suddenly going to morph from the toad that he's been since entering the league into a quarterback prince
the Broncos are still focused on rebuilding Zach Wilson's confidence
so how can Payton plausibly expect the former No
2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft to pull a 180 and lead this team to the promised land
"Sean Payton already knows who he wants to start
His mind is saying 'Nix,'’ and the other two QBs don’t matter
The coach split the plays three ways in the off-season minicamps
but declined to reveal his plan for the full training camp
which starts in earnest in Dove Valley this week," Paige wrote
first-team reps that Payton gives Stidham or Wilson deprive Nix of the precious opportunities to assimilate the offense
I get it; Payton wants to maintain credibility in the locker room that the Broncos' roster is a meritocracy
But these players want to win sooner rather than later
The Broncos' veterans know that the earlier Nix gets inserted as the starter
the sooner the team can get through his trial-and-error learning curve and get back to winning games
"Both Wilsons and Stidham are problems
BoNix should be nicknamed 'The Solution.'
"Start him from the very start," Paige concludes
The only way out is through for Payton and the Broncos
and everything becomes possible for a franchise that has listed shockingly for the past eight seasons

PHOENIX — A man is dead after reports of an explosion at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in north Phoenix
Glendale and Daisy Mountain fire departments responded to the business site near 43rd Avenue and Dove Valley Road
Officials say 41-year-old Cesar Anguiano-Guitron was transporting waste material away from the construction site when he was made aware of a possible issue involving the tank containing the material
"an uncontrolled pressure release occurred," which was when Anguiano-Guitron suffered his injuries
Officials say he was "struck by a blunt object" and thrown over 20 feet from the trailer
Anguiano-Guitron was taken to a hospital with serious injuries
including by The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH)
TSMC Arizona sent ABC15 the following updated statement Thursday regarding the incident:
"We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the man who passed away in yesterday’s tragic accident which occurred on our site
We care about the safety and wellbeing of each of our employees
our construction trade workforce and vendors
We are grateful for the immediate emergency response and the first responders for their efforts
The Phoenix Fire Department cleared the site as hazard free yesterday soon after the accident
and there has been no interruption to full operations and construction
As was corrected by the Phoenix Police Department in their media advisory last evening
this individual was inspecting the equipment on a disposal truck when an unintended pressure release occurred
We will continue to stay in communication with the authorities as they complete their investigation as to the cause of this incident
also in cooperation with the employer of the individual."
The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) declined an interview request from ABC15 but had inspectors on-site at TSMC on Thursday
Workplace fatalities automatically trigger an ADOSH inspection for potential safety violations
These inspections can take several weeks to up to six months before results are made public
Katie Hobbs and TSMC officials last August announced a worker-safety partnership between ADOSH and the company
They invited the media to cover the announcement
“We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strengthen our workforce for decades to come
And that's exactly what we're going to do,” Hobbs said at the August event
The five-page agreement between ADOSH and TSMC outlines requirements the company has voluntarily agreed to
including more safety reviews and worker safety training
TSMC will adhere to requirements higher than those at the federal level,” Hobbs said in August
The Governor’s Office did not return a request for comment Thursday
ABC15 obtained previous ADOSH inspections of the worksite through a public records request
Records show three ADOSH inspections at the TSMC site since 2022 based on complaints alleging poor ventilation
vehicles speeding at the job site and no evacuation plan
ADOSH inspectors found no observed hazards
prompted by a complaint made earlier this year
Details will not be available until that inspection is complete
ADOSH also conducts compliance assistance visits at TSMC
which are similar to inspections except they don’t result in fines or citations
ADOSH has refused to release those inspections
saying they are confidential under federal OSHA
a safety advocate with the Arizona Jobs with Justice Health and Safety Committee
said ADOSH should increase routine inspections of the TSMC worksite
and those inspections should be made public
Phoenix drivers can expect three freeway closures this weekend from Friday night through early Monday morning on Interstates 17 and 10
the Arizona Department of Transportation announced
The closures are part of a series of improvement projects throughout the Phoenix area and have caused several freeway closures within the past month
ADOT encourages drivers to allow extra travel time and to plan to use detour routes while following the weekend restrictions
The I-17 will be closed southbound between Loop 303 and Happy Valley Road in north Phoenix from 10 p.m
Southbound I-17 on-ramps at state Route 74 and Dove Valley Road will be closed as well
ADOT recommended southbound I-17 drivers to follow the posted detour route on westbound Loop 303 to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway and eastbound Happy Valley Road to return to I-17
Drivers can also consider staying on southbound Loop 303 to eastbound I-10 in Goodyear to travel toward Phoenix
Traffic and roadways: More Interstate 17 closures planned for the weekend, ADOT warns
The westbound I-10 will be closed between U.S. 60 and I-17 near Sky Harbor Airport from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday as part of the Broadway Curve Improvement Project
The northbound SR 143 will be closed between Broadway Road and Loop 202 from 10 p.m
Related closures include the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Baseline Road and westbound U.S
ADOT suggested detours using eastbound U.S
60 to northbound Loop 101 and westbound Loop 202 to reach state Route 143 or I-10 beyond the closure
Drivers also can consider using westbound/northbound Loop 202 to reach I-10 in the West Valley
The northbound Loop 101 will be closed between Loop 202 and Warner Road in Chandler from 9 p.m
ADOT advised drivers to use northbound Dobson Road or McClintock Drive
ADOT warned the closure schedules were subject to change if inclement weather or other factors arise
For updates and information on Phoenix-area freeway projects, drivers are encouraged to subscribe on ADOT's website at https://azdot.gov/home
Those interested in upcoming I-17 projects can visit http://www.improvingi17.com/ for more information. Traffic alerts to various freeway projects can be found at azdot.gov/projects

— The Denver Broncos are building a new home
The team announced plans on Tuesday for a new team headquarters and training facility in Dove Valley on the same property that currently houses it
The new development will expand the current facilities by about 30% at a cost of $175 million
Construction will begin this spring and is expected to be complete before the 2026 NFL season
The Walton-Penner Ownership Group will entirely finance the new facilities
“Our vision is to create a new home for the Denver Broncos that reflects our values of winning and teamwork with a modern Colorado design,” Broncos Owner & CEO Greg Penner said
“While we considered several options to modify our current facility
we decided to do this the right way by building a new player-centered headquarters with an efficient layout and the latest amenities
Having both our football and business operations on the same campus will foster a championship environment in pursuit of our goals on and off the field.”
The Walton-Penner Ownership Group toured some of the NFL’s newest state-of-the-art facilities—as well as other pro sports teams’ like the Golden State Warriors—as they designed the new home of the Broncos
The new building will expand the players’ space
The larger building will also create space to move about 70 business employees from Empower Field to the new Broncos headquarters
The new building will be built on the west side of the practice fields and across from the current building
replacing the berm where fans watch training camp practices
It will connect to the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse
The Broncos will continue to run their operations from the current building until construction is completed
and fans will view practice from that location
The Broncos will provide temporary seating in the interim
“This is a transformative time for the Denver Broncos led by the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group that has demonstrated a deep and impactful commitment to investing in world-class facilities,” Broncos President Damani Leechs said
“We are thrilled to share plans for a new team headquarters with Broncos Country
bringing together our organization and contributing to a positive culture that supports the No
flexibility and size will place the Broncos’ new training facility among the very best in all of sports.”
The first floor of the building will be home to 21,000 square feet of player spaces
The second floor will house football operations offices
Business operations will take place on the third floor
“It looks incredible,’’ Broncos guard Quinn Meinerz said of the new facility
“The ownership group has been nothing short of incredible here
They’ve consistently invested in not only us as the players but also with the fan experience at the stadium
it is incredible to have that continued support from our ownership group
and I can’t even imagine what it’s going to look like.”
Those investments include a tunnel to the fieldhouse that will reduce the time it takes for the players to arrive at practice and keep them out of the cold
The new weight room will be near the locker room
An underground parking garage is also on the way
“It’s a testament to the ownership group and how much they value us and how much they’re invested towards the team in making sure the players get the best of the best,’’ cornerback Pat Surtain II said
with the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse added in 2014
A new facility has been a topic of discussion in recent years
with speculation that the Broncos could find a new location with space for a new stadium
The Broncos’ lease with Empower Field runs through the 2032 season
so a new stadium is probably a decade away at least
The Broncos partnered with HOK (a global design
engineering and planning firm) and Rockwell Group (an international
multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm) to design their new training facility

Broadway resident Stella Dove arrived at the Winchester Medical Center Emergency Department in May feeling terrible
she had fainted repeatedly and experienced pressure in her chest and neck whenever she exerted herself
Dove had hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HCM)
a disease in which the heart muscle becomes thickened and can’t pump blood effectively
“Her interventricular septum was thick
causing a significant load on her heart and mitral valve,” says Aref Bin Abdulhak
a board-certified interventional cardiologist and structural heart specialist at Valley Health
“She was very symptomatic with recurrent passing out spells
She didn’t tolerate medications due to allergic history and side effects.”
Dove discussed her treatment options with Dr
taking into consideration her activity level and her age
which would require open-heart surgery and a longer recovery time
or she could opt for alcohol septal ablation (ASA)
a more minimally invasive heart procedure that involves inserting alcohol into a patient’s heart
ASA is typically performed when a patient remains symptomatic despite optimal medical therapy or does not tolerate medications
“ASA is a less-invasive approach in comparison to surgical myectomy
Dove believed ASA was the better treatment plan for her
“I wanted a quality life with minimum recovery issues that this procedure provides.”
Dove became the first person to undergo alcohol septal ablation at Winchester Medical Center
The procedure involved threading a catheter from her groin all the way to the artery that carries blood to her septum
Bin Abdulhak then injected alcohol into the thickened heart area
The alcohol caused some of Dove’s heart muscle cells to shrink and die
thus reducing the thickness of her heart muscle and improving blood flow
“This marks another landmark in our structural heart program,” Dr
Dove says she felt great the day after surgery
“I didn’t know how bad I felt until after I had the procedure.” Dove spent six days recuperating in the hospital
“I thought everybody at Valley Health was just great,” she says

PHOENIX — One person is dead and two others are seriously hurt after a wrong-way crash Saturday morning on Interstate 17 in north Phoenix
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says they received the call just before 4 a.m
for the crash on I-17 near Dove Valley Road
they found a vehicle had been traveling northbound in the southbound lanes
They believe the vehicle had been traveling the wrong way for about five miles
Karyn Trevino was on her way to work when she passed the wrong-way driver
She believes she was the first to call 911
"I was really shaky when on the phone with DPS
I didn't know what to think and do at the moment
But I figured I'm going to get as far away from this as possible," she said
"The 17 is by far the worst freeway I've ever driven."
Video from the scene shows that the car appears to have hit an airport shuttle
Those involved in the crash have not been identified
It's not clear if the individual who died was in the wrong-way vehicle or in the vehicle that was hit
Southbound I-17 was closed as DPS investigated the crash
It’s also a landmark investment that will strengthen and expand metro Phoenix's economy for years
especially as semiconductors are embraced in more applications
from appliances to artificial intelligence
Here are five key things to know about the complex and the company
is massive and will feature state-of-the-art technology when it begins commercial operation in 2024
It sits on more than 1,000 acres in north Phoenix just west of Interstate 17 along West Dove Valley Road — the huge cranes and new buildings are visible from the freeway
The campus measures nearly two miles by one mile and has enough space to fit six fabs
though only one is currently under construction
with the second slated to go up and start operations around 2026
the first fab will feature the most advanced semiconductor-process technology in the U.S
TSMC is sinking $40 billion into the projects
The company likely will qualify for federal grants under the CHIPS & Science Act when funding guidelines are announced early next year
The fabs are expected to generate 21,000 construction jobs
They’re also going up with the help of one of the world’s largest cranes
a behemoth that workers must take apart and reassemble every time it moves to different job sites because it wouldn’t comfortably fit on even a two-lane highway
The company already has added staff to work at the new complex
and that was before TSMC this week announced that it will more than double its Phoenix workforce from 2,000 initially to 4,500 or so within a few years
some of whom have trained in Taiwan for 12 to 18 months
we will have more than 1,000 people trained,” said Dr
who attended the ceremony marking Biden’s visit

most of the positions are scientific and engineering in nature
Recent job listings include those in accounting and customer support as well as memory-design managers and project managers
(the TSMC complex) will create tens of thousands of high-paying jobs
many of which don’t require an advanced degree,” said Sen
especially from Arizona State University’s Fulton Schools of Engineering
including graduates from Arizona’s community colleges
The massive TSMC project already is attracting suppliers and other businesses to the Phoenix area
The hope among economic-development officials is that a tech-focused Silicon Desert region will develop
much like Silicon Valley became a cluster of software
computer and chipmaking companies in and around San Jose
Metro Phoenix already has semiconductor fabs including those operated by two locally based
along with the massive expansion of Intel’s campus in Chandler
The ability to develop a cluster of tech-related companies and thereby shorten supply chains that were strained during the COVID-19 pandemic is a major benefit of landing the TSMC project in Phoenix

predicted at least 40 supply companies will locate nearby
President Biden cited a KORE Power facility in Buckeye as an example
The company will make lithium-ion battery cells there
But he also cited a small trucking business run by an African American woman and a cleaning service owned by a former Latino farmworker as signs that the economic benefits will spread widely
“We’re building an economy that doesn’t leave anyone behind,” Biden said
TSMC expects to produce 600,000 semiconductor wafers annually using the most advanced industrial processes in the U.S
shiny disks from which individual semiconductors
Semiconductors are what power finished products such as computers
The first fab will start producing four-nanometer chips in 2024
The second fab will follow with smaller and even more advanced three-nanometer chips starting in 2026
Those 600,000 or so wafers will generate annual revenue of around $10 billion
In addition to the 4,500 or so direct TSMC jobs and the 21,000 construction positions
TSMC expects that suppliers located in the region will hire another 13,000 people
A projection by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council estimates $770 million in direct tax revenue and $134 million in indirect tax revenue will flow to the state government over an 11-year period
It also projects the generation of more than $6 billion in personal income over that period

complex and thirsty factories in the desert presents challenges and raises concerns
but TSMC said it is making sustainability a priority
The company said it anticipates minimal waste of energy or water
and little in the way of airborne emissions
“This fab will be the greenest fab in the United States,” Liu said
it will feature an on-site industrial water reclamation plant
solar panels will go up in the fab's parking lots next year
providing shade for employee vehicles and enough electricity to power more than 2,700 homes
The company hopes to recycle nearly all water
and it aims to reclaim more than 900,000 gallons of sulfuric acid
an industrial chemical that is used to clean and etch semiconductors
