deputies assigned to the Hemet Sheriff’s Station responded to the 25000 block of Cornell Street in an unincorporated area of Riverside County known as East Hemet regarding suspicious circumstances
Deputies located an assault weapon and a loaded high-capacity magazine within the duffle bag
Robinson fled to residences on Orange Place and Dixon Drive and hid in several backyards
With the assistance of the Sheriff’s helicopter
Robinson was arrested without incident and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for several weapon-related charges

The blazes were occured within minutes of each other
according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department
The agency said multiple county and Soboba Indian Reservation engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames raging inside the two-car garage
Firefighters deployed inside and around the house
stopping the flames from penetrating the living quarters
Red Cross personnel were requested to assist the victims with finding temporary alternate lodgings
Another fire that broke out Wednesday in East Hemet scorched a half-acre and caused minor damage to property belonging to a business
in the 25800 block of North Cornell Street
The agency said multiple engine crews from the county and Hemet Fire Department were sent to the location and encountered flames in open space but barely budging due to generally calm conditions

HEMET – Police officials are crediting a citizen’s anonymous tip with leading them to identifying and arresting an East Hemet resident who allegedly killed a 66-year-old Hemet resident in a hit and run traffic collision Tuesday, March 7

Silva was reportedly not using a cross walk when he was struck
and members from throughout the community held a candlelight vigil for Silva the night after his death
The vigil was held near where Silva was fatally struck
Silva lived about a block away from where the deadly hit and run happened
told KTLA5 that the victim’s family wants the driver to come forward

An online jail records search revealed Landing is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at an unspecified court March 14
