2025The NYPD is investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man in the Tremont section of the Bronx.TREMONT
Bronx (WABC) -- Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed an 18-year-old man overnight in the Bronx
The fatal shooting happened around 1:30 a.m
on Sunday near East Tremont Avenue and Park Avenue
officers found the 18-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds to his body
First responders transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital
where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead
Authorities are trying to determine a motive for the shooting

I wish the projecting sections had been carried up higher

It looks nice but could use Alot more trees
Street trees are the province of the Parks Dept
They decide what and how many get planted
There are New Yorkers who do not like trees and enjoy breaking recently planted saplings

Mohammed Kamar was arraigned on April 2; his bail was set at $15,000 cash or $45,000 bond
The case remains under active prosecution as authorities continue their investigation into the events that endangered bystanders during the evening confrontation
