(WHP) — An Ephrata man has been charged with repeatedly raping a young girl under the age of 13
according to an update from the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office
reportedly raped the girl multiple times at a home in the 1st block of South Heck Road in Warwick Township between January 2010 and 2012
The district attorney's office said the incidents were reported by the victim in December of 2024
and allegedly told police he touched her intimately multiple times
Sayevsky waived his preliminary hearing on April 2nd

A Lancaster County man is accused of sexually assaulting a child over a span of two years
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said in an affidavit filed on Tuesday

allegedly raped a girl multiple times between 2010 and 2012
according to Detective Matthew Hinkle’s sworn statement
He was charged after the victim came forward in December 2024
the assaults ended when she was still under 13 years old
told investigators that Sayevskiy penetrated her vagina with his penis on more than one occasion and also performed oral sex on her during that time
She further reported that he used his hands and fingers to touch and penetrate her
The assaults allegedly happened when Sayevskiy was a teenager at a residence in the first block of South Heck Road in Warwick Township
He waived his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joseph C
The case has been transferred to the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas
where his formal arraignment is set for Friday
Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Ponessa is prosecuting the case
Sayevskiy is currently free on $100,000 unsecured bail

(WHP) — Police in Lancaster are investigating after a person reportedly shot a gun inside in apartment in Ephrata Borough Saturday
Officers learned a neighbor living in the 100 block of Westpointe Lane was "trying to correct a malfunction" in a firearm he'd used at a gun range earlier that day when one round was shot into the floor
Police said the round entered the apartment below
None of the neighbors in the lower apartment were injured
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m
