Ohio (WKEF) -- It's not something a neighborhood expected to wake up to
Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were spotted investigating a home on the 1300 block of Mapleridge Drive
it's unknown what prompted the investigation or if this was one of many houses agents were looking into
Neighbors say they haven’t had much interaction with the occupants of the home that was visited by A-T-F agents
and the neighborhood is quiet and residents along Mapleridge Drive know each other
but there’s like not huge parties or anything that goes on or nothing like that that causes this kind of attraction," said Fairborn resident
I never noticed anything off about them or anything like that."
Dayton 24/7 Now Jeff Schrock did reach out to a spokesperson with A-T-F
An ATF spokesperson told Schrock that agents conducted a court-authorized search warrant on the home
Schrock also reached out to Fairborn Police but hasn’t heard back yet

Fairborn police were requested to help the Columbus Division of Police with the execution of a warrant for Bryant’s arrest after the Franklin County Municipal Court charged him with murder in Columbus
detectives assisting the arrest warrant created a plan to minimize risk to themselves
located at the 400 block of Funbderberg Road
was placed under surveillance by three detectives in an unmarked vehicle
said that when Bryant left his apartment and walked toward his car
the detectives slowly drove up the parking lot
They made their way to where Bryant was entering his vehicle
and before they could stop and identify themselves
Bryant admitted that he did not know who he was shooting at due to the windows of the cars being tinted
Prosecutor Hayes said that Bryant then ran to another part of the apartment complex while still holding the weapon in the direction and hid between two cars
and no one was hurt as a result of the shootout
As the incident was considered an officer-involved shooting
the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) was requested to process the scene
BCI officials said they found two fired shell casings matching Bryant’s gun and six that matched the officers’
seven witnesses came forward to testify for the state
including the three detectives who were in the unmarked car
and a forensic scientist with BCI’s firearms division
He is set to return to court on May 19 for a second Indictment filed in Greene County unrelated to the shooting
The Greene County Prosecutor’s Office said that after both of Bryant’s Greene County cases are concluded
he will be extradited to Franklin County for additional hearings related to his pending murder case
