The culture was contagious and we got it rolling
Coker worked for five years for current UAB head coach Andy Kennedy
where he and Armstrong served as assistant coaches at Ole Miss
“Coach Armstrong and I have been friends for over 20 years,” Coker said

We’re looking forward to investing in that community
“One of my favorite things about coaching is the people
People I was with for just a year have been sending me congratulation texts today.”

Townsend is currently being held without bond at the Dekalb County Detention Center
Digital Producer/Weekend Assignment Editor
A Fort Payne arson suspect has been captured after setting a house on fire
Dekalb County deputies responded to the fire on County Road 54 in Geraldine around 10:30pm
they found both the Geraldine and Crossville Fire Departments fighting a fully engulfed house fire
Deputies learned that the fire started after an altercation between a trespasser and two people that lived at the house
Police say the trespasser was there right before the fire started
leading them to believe the fire was intentional
Police say they found him several hundred yards behind the house
He is currently being held without bond at the Dekalb County Detention Center
Police say Townsend had also been in violation of another bond schedule for previous charges
DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident:
"I would like to thank Geraldine and Crossville Fire Department for keeping the fire contained and keeping everyone safe
Investigators and Aviation Unit for finding the individual responsible for this unnecessary act of evil as quickly as you did
It takes everyone working together as one to get the job done fast and efficient and you all proved that to be true Tuesday night
