Pettaway was last seen wearing black pants, a gray collared shirt, a red pullover, and black and gray Nike high tops. Her hair is styled in box braids. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Pettaway's whereabouts is asked to contact the Fultondale Police Department at 205-849-5456. Falling tree limbs in Birmingham kills one person, another injured FULTONDALE, AL (WBMA) — The Fultondale Police Department arrested a man in a drug bust. On Friday morning, Fultondale PD and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on Heaton Street in Fultondale. Antonio Jermaine Harrell, 31, was arrested for allegedly trafficking fentanyl and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol. When authorities arrived on the scene, Harrell attempted to flee from the house, but he was caught by authorities. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $515,000 bond. It happened Sunday morning in the "100 Oaks" mobile home community Police say the men were armed and demanded money 55-year-old Alejandro Hernandez Garcia was shot after fighting back "We're obviously still very traumatized by what happened," Garcia's son "We couldn't stay in our home yesterday My mother and sister didn't feel safe sleeping here where it all happened." "The most I heard was shuffling around, walking, like running afterwards just yells, screams pleas of help, it was mostly from my father he was already hurt," he said. "He was very kind, he was strict with me and my siblings because I always believed he wanted to raise us right," he said, "he never hurt anyone he never threatened anyone he was just a great man and it's a shame that I was never able to tell that to him before he could pass." Police believe it was a random attack. The door had been left unlocked. Alejandro says during the break-in, his sister-in-law asked the men why they chose them. "She was very adamant about asking them things asking them questions like. why are you guys here? For what reason? Why did you choose us?" he said, "one of the things that they told her in response was you guys got a couple cars on your lot and it didn't help me understand it at all because there's cars everywhere here, there's nicer cars here." Police want to speak with the driver of a silver Dodge Charger that was seen in the area. For the family it's a nightmare and a loss they can't understand. "It does hurt a lot, he was a big figure in my life, he was like the nucleus of the family, he held us all together," Alejandro said.
