As the school year ends, new faces will take their place in lecture halls and dormitories as seniors cross the stage. Admitted Student Days are specifically designed so these incoming students and their families can get a glimpse of what life might be like at Geneseo.
Admitted students' day is fast approaching, occurring on Apr. 26 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the 2025-2026 school year. Students can register in different categories
making the event available not just for first-year students
helpful information and events for graduate
and international students to ensure they feel just as welcome.
Admitted Students Days are a perfect opportunity to tour the campus
and get to know the other prospective peers in hopes of dorming with them or simply forming a future friendship.
become more comfortable with the change of scenery while having fun with others that may be joining in the fall or spring.
Visiting colleges in general is important to explore their location
but choosing a school that fits one’s needs is even more crucial
Geneseo has a much tighter-knit and smaller student body than many other colleges
so finding an individual’s chosen group and interacting with others early-on may lead to essential deeper bonds than one may form at a larger state school.
Prospective students will also be pleased to hear that due to Geneseo’s smaller undergraduate size
finding leadership positions in organizations one may want to be a part of and change for the better is more manageable
Students can also host different outreach opportunities with other clubs
This acts as a good resume builder and valuable experience that one can use to grow further in one's professional and personal life
students have a wide range of locations to visit
including the freshly renovated Milne Library
which offers stunning sunsets across the Genesee Valley
Students will also find comfort in the campus’s North and South villages
getting a look at the variety of dorming options the campus offers
along with their dining hall options.
If potential students have decided on Geneseo as their home away from home, they can expect a very enjoyable experience. Important information to consider to make the process easier is New Student Orientation from Aug
where students will receive a more in-depth guide on the campus and what they can expect for the fall semester
Geneseo will be sure to welcome whoever joins the campus with open arms
