You would think that all of this would scare high-earning parents into socking money away
especially since many forms of financial aid for college are for students who can demonstrate financial need
I have found that most of my peers (including high earners) with teenage kids aren't in a hurry to worry about college costs
so earning a lot and having more assets will not help my kids qualify for considerable (or any) financial aid for school
If our household income and assets are going to hold my kids back from receiving many types of financial aid for college
then it seems crazy to act like I am off the hook for all college costs
I'm not saying all high-earning parents should agree to pay for college in its entirety
but I am saying that most of us could save something for school during the 18-year period before our kids leave the nest
The average student loan debt most borrowers carry scares me
especially since many repayment plans for federal and private student loans last for up to 20 or 25 years
Setting them up to make student loan payments until they're well into their 40s
but I absolutely hate the idea of my kids beginning their adult lives with a considerable debt burden
this is a time when they might want to start a family or begin saving up to purchase a home of their own
I've heard the argument that some parents worked and paid for college as they went
in-state school was $11,610 for the 2024-2025 academic year
and it doesn't include the average annual cost for room and board ($13,310)
This means the average cost for a four-year degree from a public college is currently around six figures
While it's possible for students to work during school
most can't juggle earning that much and excelling in their studies
compared to $1,543 for those with a bachelor's degree and $1,840 for graduates with a master's degree
I plan to urge my kids to attend one of our excellent state schools for more affordable tuition and to help them find a degree program that applies to the actual workforce and provides a solid foundation for their financial future
This means no "feel-good" degree programs that don't apply to real-world jobs or industries
We have already started that conversation in our household
I cannot think of a better investment I could make than paying for my children's undergraduate education
they're going to need all the help they can get

Holly Madison has slammed a sex act Hugh Hefner asked her to do with him which she made 'very known' she 'hated'
The now 45-year-old was Hefner's 'number one girlfriend' and lived in the Playboy mansion
The property was known by many for the outlandish parties, with several A-List celebrities and Playboy bunnies coming and going over the years
Only a select number of women permanently stayed at the residence though
and they were girlfriends of 'The Hef'
Madison is one of those 'privileged' girlfriends and opened up on everything to do with their relationship in a guest appearance on the In Your Dreams podcast with Owen Thiele
The TV personality revealed how it really was to share Hefner with his other girlfriends
Madison said it could be 'normal'
though there was an act that she 'hated'
It was all to do with sex that wasn't what you'd call private
it's a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room
it was a lot more normal than you would think.”
The age gap was a focus point for many people online
though she didn't think about it much
Madison explained that she was made fun of on social media whenever she spoke about her sex life due to the 50-year difference
“I think everybody has this real horror story of how gross an old man's body must be,” she suggested
Madison went on: “I feel like there was a time when I couldn't post anything without some dumba** in the comments like
maybe some people's balls do get old and nasty
Madison also spoke about how tumultuous her life could be as Hefner's girlfriend
“It's truly living life in the fast lane.”

Holly Madison reflected on her sex life with ex-boyfriend and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner
Holly Madison is looking back at her life in the Playboy mansion
The Girls Next Door alum recently reflected on her seven-year romance with the late Hugh Hefner
including how she wasn’t a fan of sharing him in the bedroom
“Well, it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room,” Holly, 45, explained in the May 2 episode of Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast
And while she despised having group sex with the Playboy founder
with ex-husband Pasquale Rotella—noted their intimacy thrived when they were alone
Holly then playfully denounced the myth that their 53-year age gap changed the tone of their relationship. Indeed, the former couple’s age jump has raised eyebrows over the years, as she was 22 and Hugh—who died in 2017 at age 91—was 75 when their relationship started in 2001
“Everybody has this horror story of how gross an old man’s body must be,” she continued
“I feel like there was a time when I couldn’t post anything without some dumbass in the comments like
Maybe some people’s balls do get old and nasty
The Playboy Murders star also reflected on their 2007 breakup
when Hugh left a print-out of his will on her side of the bed as she packed her bags to leave the mansion
“I had already broken off with him and he was trying to get me to stay
It was kind of a low-key bribe,” she reflected on that moment
“But it was also sad because he [couldn’t] sit me down and talk to me about it.”
This isn’t the first time Holly has detailed her complicated romance with Hugh
as she revealed their split forced her to recognize that he wasn’t the perfect partner
“It was odd because after I left the relationship, I was so shell shocked because I realized that this vision I’d had of him the whole time as this amazing person was just kind of something I had wished for and kind of made up in my own head," she told E! News in January 2023
“I realized the person I was looking at was really a stranger.”

Former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison is sharing more details about her time with the late Hugh Hefner
The TV personality has been vocal about her relationship with the deceased business mogul
from grooming accusations to implications of him threatening his playmates with revenge porn
Holly Madison is opening up about the sexual part of her time with Hugh Hefner and how it wasn't as bad as people imagined
During a recent appearance on the "In Your Dreams" podcast
Madison opened up to host Owen Thiele about her bedroom experience with Hefner
She claimed their sexual activities did not bother her unless it involved group sex
it's a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room
Madison claimed their 53-year age gap did not ruin their sexual relationship
it was a lot more normal than you would think," she assured Thiele
who believed it couldn't have been as rosy as she painted it
When Thiele implied she was lying about her sexual relationship with Hefner
Madison seemingly defended her past choices
She lamented the fact that nobody believed her bedroom experience with the late Playboy Magazine founder was normal
"There was a time when I couldn't post anything [on social media] without some dumba-s in the comments [being] like
old balls.' Maybe some people's balls do get old and nasty
Although Madison's words implied she did not mind Hefner's aging body
she clarified that she did not see much of it in the bedroom
the lights were always off during their intimate moments
there's a saying: 'All cats are gray in the dark,'" Madison joked
Madison dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, starring on the reality TV series "The Girls Next Door." After having her private life flaunted on TV, The Blast reported the entertainer was over having a relationship with someone in the same line of work
She shared her romantic preferences in an interview last month
saying, "I've never been much of a dater
I want the next person I meet to be The One
"I would never go on a reality dating show
I'm not attracted to the kind of guy who wants to be on TV
My type is more like businessmen," Madison added
She stressed that she was not looking for love at the moment and prioritized co-parenting her kids and building her career
Madison was asked what advice she would give her past self
And take as many pictures as you can … because you might need evidence," she replied
Her words seemingly implied she needed evidence to avoid Hefner's retaliation
This wasn't the first time Madison had hinted at Hefner being a man who would use unscrupulous methods to keep his playmates in line
she dropped scathing allegations against the magazine founder in the A&E documentary "Secrets of Playboy."
Madison claimed she feared leaving the Playboy Mansion because Hefner might retaliate with his mountain of revenge porn
She accused him of taking numerous nude pictures of women whenever they were intoxicated and circulating the copies
Madison believed she was a victim of Hefner's revenge porn
noting she frequently drank to dissociate from her reality
drinking could only provide minimal relief
and she eventually tried to end her life after a group sex session
I just felt like I was in this cycle of misery," Madison recalled
She also described her time with Hefner as "Stockholm syndrome," claiming:
"Stockholm syndrome is when somebody starts to identify with somebody who's their captor in some way
and I feel like I did that with Hef 100 percent."
The entertainer alleged her time with Hefner was cult-like
she blamed the late media mogul for making her feel isolated in the Playboy Mansion by pitting playmates against each other
Could Holly Madison's recent comments about her intimate relationship with Hugh Hefner be linked to her alleged Stockholm syndrome
2025 12:17 PM EDTFormer Playboy Playmate and Girls Next Door star Holly Madison opened up about the “disgusting” expectation of group sex while she was living at the Playboy Mansion
something she “hated” participating in
Madison made the remarks to Owen Thiele on the May 2 episode of his podcast
after the host pressed his guest on the various bedroom activities which took place during her time at the Playboy Mansion
it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room," Madison said
but she insists that didn’t affect their sex life
it was a lot more normal than you would think," Madison said
After Thiele expressed doubt that any encounter with Hefner could be “normal,” Madison replied
lightheartedly: "There was a time when I couldn't post anything [on social media] without some dumba-- in the comments [being] like
old balls.' Maybe some people's balls do get old and nasty
but I've never seen such a thing.”
Madison did specify that Hefner would often leave the lights off while the two consorted
so she couldn’t speak directly to his physique
there's a saying: 'All cats are gray in the dark,'" she cracked

addressed the U’s class of 2025 at a ceremony on May 1
Shortly after the University of Utah’s 2025 commencement speaker
was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer
her doctor kindly suggested she focus on how she spent her time
The long-time ESPN commentator and U alum knew this was a gentle way of saying he didn’t know how long she would live
closed her eyes and envisioned her perfect day
“I tried to imagine what my day or month or week would look like if I was going to die soon,” Rowe said
“And I realized that I was living like that already
Rowe spoke at the 156th General Commencement on Thursday, May 1, at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The ceremony honored 8,908 graduates
the largest class in the U’s history
While Rowe was excited to return to her alma mater
she noted she was a little nervous because
she had been on a payment plan for many years post-college
“Now I’m really freaking out because now they know where I am,” Rowe said
A self-described “mediocre” student
Rowe always knew she wanted to be a sportscaster
she carefully chose college courses to prepare her for her goal
she discovered that though there were many opportunities in her field
she interned everywhere and earned the opportunities she wanted by volunteering to do the work others did not want to do
“You’ll have to earn your opportunities,” Rowe said
Rowe also created opportunities for herself
she realized women’s sports were not broadcast in Utah
Rowe bought radio air time and sold the ads needed to broadcast a Utah vs
“Some of that was selfish because I wanted to be the announcer,” Rowe said
“But I created that opportunity for myself
I helped to lift women’s sports to new heights.”
Holly Rowe was honored with a custom U jersey featuring her last name and year of graduation following her commencement address on May 1
Rowe was working at BYU TV when she saw that there was no sideline reporter for ABC’s broadcast of the BYU vs
Rowe called the producer and volunteered for the role
It was this dedication and skill that led to ESPN hiring her
“I want you to have that same courage and that same attitude
Believe in yourself and be reckless with your confidence.”
She encouraged graduates to not only take the time to imagine their version of that life
but also ensure that continual learning is part of their plan
“Find people with diverse processes and ideas who can broaden your life view,” Rowe said
“Diversity is our greatest teacher and I want you all to embrace it.”
U President Taylor Randall presented her with a custom University of Utah jersey featuring her last name and year of graduation
we loved hearing about your tenacity,” he said
“Your story reminds us that when we have a dream in mind and the willingness to act
not even parking tickets can get in the way.”

In addition to speaking at the General Commencement ceremony
Rowe also attended and spoke at the College of Humanities Distinguished Alumni luncheon
where she received the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award
and spoke at the College of Humanities convocation ceremony

Author Holly Wainwright reflects on her decade-long friendships with the women she met in a strip-lit shopping mall when her first child was a newborn
We knew it was coming. The camping trip when the kids would be up later than the parents, adult ears tuned in not for tears and temperatures but for tent zips flicking up and down at midnight, our alcohol audited and phone trackers at hand.
This past Easter weekend, it arrived. The count was the same: 11 adults, 14 kids. The destination was new, but not unusual. A classic Australian campground – powered sites, a well-worn kitchen and a toilet block with a code it takes days to remember. A tepid, kidney-shaped pool and a sandy track to a beach stretching away in all directions.
The babies that brought us all together are now 15 year olds
spread out at different high schools across two states
These gangly teenagers were once babies in arms at a mothers’ group meeting in a strip-lit shopping mall in eastern Sydney
anxious new mothers sitting in a circle on hard Formica chairs
working up the nerve to go first about sleep schedules and shredded nipples and poo
All the questions were really the same question: Is this normal
Six women from my mothers’ group have been camping together every Easter for 10 years
New humans have been born during that time and now trail around after the “big kids” on scooters
View image in fullscreenKids play in the river on one of the group’s camping tripsAnd a lot more has changed too
we’d been thrown together because we lived in the same two postcodes
Now one family flies in from Tasmania and my lot drive from the small regional town we moved to four years ago
There has been illness and loss and diagnoses
There have been years where someone was pregnant
Years when someone was on the edge of a nervous breakdown (my hand is up)
years when marital relations at the camp have been strained
on one of the very best weekends of the year
Not everyone from the original mothers’ group stayed entirely bonded
Although there were no major explosions or fractures
the bubble of early motherhood pops and splits in many directions
Families moved out of the tiny units they’d squeezed themselves into to maintain their city addresses
at different times and with various levels of intensity
Our ability to all get together for coffee on a Wednesday morning – holding each other’s babies while we peed and with someone almost always in tears – was short
There’s a cliche that mothers’ groups are rife with toxicity
it was never thatOur long-weekend group is just one subset
Even within it there are bonded pairs and groups of threes
people who are in each other’s lives and group chats daily
Others who only turn up at major events – birthdays ending with 0
In He Would Never, the novel I wrote inspired by our tradition, the annual camping trip was first decided over group text, but for us I think it was actually the men – introduced to each other at kids’ birthday parties over the years – who made the first trip happen, just when the group could have faded away.
And in the book, one of the men, rather than adding to the connective glue of this little community, is actively trying to pull it apart, so threatened is he by the strength of female friendship.
Despite all that has changed, we still do. Last week we talked about the things all parents of teenagers do when they sense they’re in a “safe space”. About technology, of course. Whether any rules of ours can help guide them through an online world that feels opaque to us. We talked about sex, booze, drugs, respect, consent, shame, sport and school. We shared imaginings of where our children could be in another few years.
Read moreWe don’t only talk about the kids
Into those three days we cram conversations about work and relationships and ageing parents
About health and mental health and ambition and money and stress
About our imaginings of where we see ourselves in another few years
about the things we learned the kids got up to while we were sleeping
with 16-year-olds and memories of that first meeting – how lucky we were to make it into that particular room on that particular day with these particular women
We discuss when their partners will be allowed to join
happy in our shared delusion that this trip will always be as precious to them as it is to us

Whether she’s teaching high school biology or explaining rare genetic conditions to patients
Holly Byers knows how to distill complex information into understandable terms
The former public school teacher successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in human genetics last May and is completing an M.S. in genetic counseling in the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
she is excited for a career that combines genetic counseling with research
Earning both degrees will allow her to split her time between counseling patients on genetic conditions and conducting research to develop novel treatments for rare diseases
“I’ve always been interested in the genetic components to human conditions and how we can leverage that information to help patients,” Byers said
“What I love about this program is that I can be an independent researcher and have that clinical component.”
the terminal degree offered in genetic counseling
The genetic counseling master’s curriculum trains students to interpret data and test results
while the doctoral program allows them to conduct independent research
Byers has been investigating triple-negative breast cancer
a rare and deadly form of breast cancer also known as TNBC
TNBC is diagnosed when a biopsy shows negative results for three of the most common markers of breast cancer
While those three forms can be treated with specialized hormonal therapies
TNBC is more aggressive and harder to treat as it is not responsive to specialized therapies
Hispanic and young patients and more likely to recur than other forms of breast cancer
showed that when the DDI2 protein coding gene found in cancer cells is disabled
is to find a novel therapy that specifically targets DDI2 to better treat this type of cancer
“We don’t have good enough options for these patients
and that really lit a fire under me to research how we can get better therapies for folks,” Byers said
“My findings are a step in the right direction for discovering that treatment.”
compared to 13% of the general population of women who develop breast cancer
“When someone is diagnosed with TNBC
we recommend that the patient be screened for hereditary gene mutations like BRCA1 and BRCA2,” Byers said
“Counseling these patients is really close to my heart
because I’m also trying to find a new solution for them.”
“That’s really hard news to hear for someone that otherwise may have no known health issues,” Byers said
“Genetic counselors are trained to explain the risks and options to patients in an empathetic and comprehensive way
and often just sit with them in their grief.”
Byers said her counseling training wasn’t limited to the classroom or clinic
an experience she said has made her a better counselor
“There’s no ‘right time’ to have a baby when you’re a woman in science
but becoming a mom has actually helped my work,” Byers said
“I relate to parents a lot more now when I’m working in the pediatric or prenatal settings
I truly know now what it’s like to worry about your child’s health.”
Byers hasn’t strayed completely from her teaching roots and still gives lectures to students enrolled in the certificate in clinical genetics program
an introductory program for those interested in the field
As the first in her family to attend college
Byers deeply values being able to pass on her knowledge to peers earlier in their career and said she would like to pursue teaching following graduation
that there are similarities between teaching and counseling
“I’m really passionate about trying to figure out how to meet students where they are
which I guess extends to patients now,” Byers said
“I like figuring out how to create a welcoming environment and personalize the lesson
program and associate professor in the Department of Cellular
said Byers has put her teaching experience to good use and excels as a leader in her cohort
“Something that struck me about Holly is that she has a mature way of being able to navigate the challenges of being in a dual program,” Quillin said
“She really put herself out there to the cohort
She’s really the friend glue that held people together during the challenging time that is graduate school.”
As she looks to her future as a genetic counselor
scientist and educator following graduation
Byers said she is excited to continue providing an empathetic and educational space for both her students and patients
“I want to be someone that meets people without any judgment and gives them the tools to get them where they need to be,” Byers said

Ex-Playboy model Holly Madison has opened up about the 'disgusting' sex act with Hugh Hefner that she absolutely 'hated' doing
Before passing away at the grand age of 91 back in 2017, Hefner made a name for himself as the founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine before expanding his empire into a multi-million dollar industry
He became the subject of a number of sexual assault allegations and, throughout the course of his many scandals, Hefner also mapped out a seriously grim, yet extremely strict, set of rules for any of the women living in the notorious Playboy mansion - one of which involved mandatory sex parties
Speaking on Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast on Friday (2 May), Madison opened up about her thoughts on such group activities, which took place in the bedroom during her years spent as one of Hefner's girlfriends
it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room," she explained
"I made it very known I hated it."
Madison noted that her one-on-one time with Hefner was far more 'normal'
continuing: "If it was just me and him
it was a lot more normal than you would think."
She also shared that she wasn't too fussed with the 53-year age-gap between herself and Hef
explaining on the podcast that she was aware of some of the comments from people regarding it
"I feel like there was a time when I couldn’t post anything without some dumbass in the comments like
old balls,' or something like that," she told Thiele
"Maybe some people’s balls do get old and nasty
clarify that she and Hefner kept the lights off when they did the deed so she couldn't speak with total authority on the subject
there's a saying: 'All cats are grey in the dark.'"
Speaking to BuzzFeed News a decade back in 2015, Madison shared that the prolific sex parties always took place on the same two days of the week
"It was always Wednesdays and Fridays after the club
It was always exactly the same because that's just how he likes to live his life," she said
all of Hugh's girlfriends were required to take part as she explained: "They knew it was kind of a quote-unquote requirement for living there
‘I made it very known I hated it’
Holly Madison, a former Playboy model and resident of the infamous Playboy Mansion
has been exposing Hugh Hefner’s dirty laundry and the one sex act she “hated doing” with him
will live on forever as the Playboy models he collected continue to speak out
which is why she moved into the Playboy Mansion as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends
she had been promoted to his number one girl
had never “had much luck with marriages.”
Just recently, during an appearance on Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast, Holly gave us a peek behind those notorious walls.
A post shared by Holly Madison (@hollymadison)
It’s well documented that if you were one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends
you would be expected to take part in group sex activities at a moment’s notice
“They knew it was kind of a quote-unquote requirement for living there
and expected,” Holly said earlier in 2015
Numerous former Playboy Bunnies have spoken about it
and now Holly has revealed it was the part of the relationship she “hated” most
it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room,” she explained
“I made it very known I hated it.”
then it was “a lot more normal than you would think.”
Such statements might lead you to question why Holly and the many other beautiful women were with Hugh in the first place
Though Holly herself earlier detailed how the connection was almost like Stockholm Syndrome
she noted how there was an allure to the old man
“I think just the fact that he was so interesting and iconic – I mean that didn’t hurt – but also I would never go for a guy just because he’s rich
you get approached by all kinds of gross rich guys,” she said
“It was just more that he was so iconic and accomplished and interesting
and when you meet him when you’re first coming up to the parties and stuff

We are saddened and shocked to announce the death of our beloved Holly Jean Thompson Kraxner on April 26
Holly Madison isn’t holding anything back when it comes to her wild years at the Playboy Mansion
The former reality TV star opened up about one thing she couldn’t stand during her relationship with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner
"Well, it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room," she explained on the “In Your Dreams” podcast
"Everybody else in the room, no," she said bluntly, referring to the infamous group s-- sessions. "That was disgusting. I hated it
Holly Madison called group s-- at the Playboy Mansion 'disgusting.'
Despite the 53-year age gap between her and Hefner — who passed away in 2017 at 91 years old — Madison said their one-on-one moments were actually more typical than most would expect
it was a lot more normal than you would think," she shared
The Bunny House alum then got real about the judgment she’s faced for her past with Hefner
"There was a time when I couldn't post anything [on social media] without some dumba-- in the comments [being] like
"Maybe some people's b---- do get old and nasty
The reality star said she was much more comfortable when it was just her and Hugh Hefner
She noted that the lights were always off during their intimate moments
so she couldn’t exactly confirm any details
there's a saying: 'All cats are gray in the dark,'" she teased
Madison, who dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, has been open for years about how uncomfortable she felt being pressured into group s-- situations with other women in the mansion
"They would have these trays everywhere, like in every bathroom, out on the tennis courts, by the pool, and it would be a tray with Kleenex, Pepto Bismol, Vaseline, baby oil, sunscreen — any kind of makeshift lube,” she previously told People
Fans used to mock Holly Madison online about being with an older man
“My experiences that played with the negative parts of it are more related to the relationship and the relationship dynamics
both with Hef and some of the other girls,” she explained
“I 100 percent enjoyed posing for the magazine
And I even worked at the studio producing the playmate pictorials for a couple of years
she recalled her own bizarre experiences in the mansion
"This was a well-oiled and well-practiced sequence of events. One that went the same exact way every time,” she wrote. “Picking some girls from the party and bringing them up. Changing into the uniform for the job: silk pajamas. The dimming of the lights. The music. The p---. Passing the pot. And then the s--.”
She added, [It was] "like Hef was just going through the motions of something that had once been fun and s---. Or maybe it was never fun and s---.”

reflects on her romance with the late Hugh Hefner
Hugh Hefner’s friends were disappointed to hear what former Playboy bunny Holly Madison had to say about the late mogul
In a recent interview with the “In Your Dreams” podcast, Madison shaded Hefner and called group s-- with her ex-boyfriend of seven years “disgusting,” prompting a group of Hefner’s longtime confidants to hit back at her words
Holly Madison called group s-- with Hugh Hefner 'disgusting.'
That’s not the behavior of someone who felt trapped,” suggested a friend of Hefner after she talked negatively about his behavior
Despite Madison calling Hef a “master manipulator,” a second close friend of the Playboy founder noted
“He loved her deeply and never lied to her
To paint him now as some kind of monster is just unfair.”
Hugh Hefner's friend slammed Holly Madison for profiting 'off the man who gave her the life she built her brand on.'
didn’t vocalize her repulsion until long after they broke up
“It wasn’t until she needed to stay relevant that the stories became darker and more dramatic
It’s hard to watch someone profit off the man who gave her the life she built her brand on,” they said
A third insider expressed how Madison using the Playboy name for profitable gain felt like “betrayal,” adding
“It’s not that she didn’t have complicated feelings
The former Playboy bunny hosts Season 3 of 'The Playboy Murders.'
A former Playmate added their opinion, saying Madison should stand firm in the decision she made to date Hef from 2001 to 2008: “She’s allowed to share her story
But don’t pretend like you didn’t benefit from it
In one of Madison’s recent interviews during her press tour for Season 3 of The Playboy Murders, a true crime series about the deaths and disappearances of Playboy figures, she explained her long stay at the Playboy mansion was due to Stockholm syndrome
Holly Madison dated Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008
“I had this mindset of being in love,” she told The New York Post earlier this month
“And it was kind of tinged with a little bit of Stockholm syndrome.”
The Down the Rabbit Hole author continued, “So I look back, and I just see somebody who was young and impressionable. Just kind of in a fog, almost. I think the fog was more just having such a warped mindset, cognitive dissonance, thinking I’m in love with somebody and realizing I got in way over my head… but always trying to justify that.”
Sources close to Hefner spoke with journalist Rob Shuter about their opinion of Holly Madison.
