The Lady Hawks advance to play Bushland in Region I-3A Division I semifinal best-of-three series next week at Lubbock-Cooper High School
Berrett had Ingram Moore baffled with only two errors and a walk keeping her from a perfect game
Berrett was also a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate with a homer
Leadoff hitter Raylee Huse was 3 for 3 with a double
Archer City outlasts TiogaBOWIE – Archer City scored 24 runs in a Region II-2A Division I area-round doubleheader Thursday
and the Lady Cats needed almost every single one to survive Tioga
advancing to the Region II-2A Division I semifinals against Moody
The specifics of that playoff matchup are still pending
Game 1 of the series with Tioga needed an extra inning to decide
Archer City fell behind 11-10 in the top of the seventh
but Adelyn Harvey came through with a two-out triple – her third of the game – to left field
bringing home Addy Peters from second to tie the game
After Tioga failed to score in the top of the eighth
Millie Mayo led off the bottom of the frame with a double
An error on a grounder hit by Briley Canada allowed Mayo to score the walk-off run
Game 2 wasn’t nearly as dramatic with Tioga scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh to make the final respectable
going 3 for 4 with three runs and two RBIs
ABILENE – Wall got a timely single in the top of the 11th inning
winning Game 2 of its Region I-3A Division II area-round series with Jacksboro
But the Lady Hawks couldn’t couldn’t keep pace with Jacksboro’s bats in the rubber match
and the Tigerettes won the series with a 10-5 victory

Texas (KAUZ) - Iowa Park has opened its schools’ storm shelters to area residents as strong storms push through the area
Iowa Park CISD said that its community storm shelters are open at the following locations:
Kidwell Elementary - gymnasium (1200 North Third Street)
Bradford Elementary - gymnasium (809 Texowa)
George Middle School - new gymnasium (412 East Cash)
Iowa Park High School - basement (1 Bob Dawson Drive)
Michael Swenson has spent almost his entire life in Iowa Park
Swenson stepped down as football coach and athletic director this week
accepting the assistant athletic director position with Weatherford ISD
“This was a very difficult decision,” Swenson said
“I’ve spent 38 years of my life here in Iowa Park
and one of those is to be just a straight AD
This allows me to take that next step of the process.”
More: City View chooses Ferris OC Akeem Leviston as new head football coach
Swenson is a 1998 Iowa Park grad and had spent his entire coaching career at his alma mater up to this point
He joined the staff in 2005 and made an indelible impact on the baseball program
He made the transition to head football coach in 2021
whom he has served under as the Hawks’ defensive coordinator
it’s Sims who he will be working for again at Weatherford ISD
Sims has been the head football coach and athletic director at Weatherford since he left Iowa Park
Swenson’s position is administrative only with no coaching duties tied to it
“That part of it is phenomenal,” Swenson said of reuniting with Sims
“That’s a guy I have the utmost respect for
We’ve communicated before about working together again
It just happened to open up at the right time for me
“He’s a guy I trust with everything I have
Swenson doesn’t deny that the recent decision by the Iowa Park CISD school board to not renew his contract past the 2025-26 school year did play into his decision
“I’d be lying to say it didn’t factor into it,” Swenson said
“Of course those things are going to have an impact because beyond next season
That wasn’t the sole reason for this decision
and I’d say it wasn’t even the main factor
This is more about the opportunity in Weatherford than anything.”
Swenson admits he’s leaving Iowa Park with some regret
mainly that the football program was only 16-27 during his four-year tenure
although the Hawks made the playoffs each season
the Hawks were a win and a couple of plays away from winning a district title and potentially changing their postseason fortunes
But the overall athletic program thrived under him
The boys basketball team just made the deepest run in program history
The softball program went to the state tournament twice
Iowa Park also produced state qualifiers in swimming
We’ve been able to hire some amazing coaches in those sports,” Swenson said
“But I take a lot of pride that we were able to run a clean program and be successful in a lot of different avenues
I hope this change really jumpstarts Iowa Park’s football program.”
finding a very successful high school coach to take over its football program
the Iowa Park CISD school board unanimously approved the hiring of Bryan Wood as athletic director and as the school’s 29th head football coach in program history after a closed session that lasted around 2½ hours
“Just knowing the name Iowa Park — the history and the present of the athletic program’s success
the basketball team making it to the state semifinals this year — I’ve known about Iowa Park for a long time,” Wood said
I’ve known him and know what he was able to do with this program all those years ago
I’ve done my homework on Iowa Park to know it’s a great place to be.”

Wood was one of more than 60 applicants for Iowa Park’s head football coaching and athletic director position
five coaches were interviewed with Wood emerging as the lone finalist
hiring an athletic director is going to impact more than just the students
it impacts the entire community,” Iowa Park Superintendent Kevin McCasland said
“The meeting was so long because it was a chance for the school board to get to know him and learn what kind of coach and man that he is as well as what type of culture he will bring to the program
“We came away believing that Coach Wood is the right fit.”
Wood comes to Iowa Park after spending a year as co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview
The Pioneers went 4-6 but averaged 34.5 points and 413.4 yards per game
Wood knows he’s a high school football coach
“It was kind of a timing deal with when I was leaving Burnet and trying to get my defensive coordinator the job there,” Wood said
“I saw the Wayland job open and thought it might be a good time to try that
“Iowa Park is a great opportunity to do what I’ve done most of my life.”
Before his brief stint at the college ranks
Wood spent 31 years coaching high school football
including 24 as a head football coach and athletic director
the same two roles he will hold at Iowa Park
His last foray in the high school ranks was at Burnet from 2021 to 2023
his time there saw Burnet improve from 3-7 in 2021 to 8-4 and the program’s first district title in nine years in his final season in 2023
Wood has claimed 11 district championships in 24 seasons and has a 19-11 postseason record
He led Sunray to the state semifinals twice
falling to Windthorst in 2003 and Seymour in 2007
He’s taken a team to the state quarterfinals on five other occasions
Wood inherits the Iowa Park program from Michael Swenson
who left after four years leading the Hawks for an assistant athletic director position with Weatherford ISD
The Hawks were 16-27 under Swenson but made the playoffs each season
the Hawks were a win and a couple plays away from winning a district title
The product on the field may not look too different from what Iowa Park has done in recent seasons with Wood preferring a power spread offensive concept
trying to control the ball for as long as possible
Wood plans to keep the overall athletic program thriving
“If you don’t care about an overall athletic program
then you don’t need to be doing this job,” Wood said
What I heard during this meeting is my challenge is to make the football team better
and I know we got programs that are doing really well
“I want to see Iowa Park’s name in those Lone Star Cup standings at the end of the year.”
Texas (KAUZ) - The race for Place 4 on the Iowa Park school board is underway
with two familiar faces from the community running for the seat
a former mayor of Iowa Park and current vice president at First Bank
Army veteran and former Iowa Park police officer
Both candidates bring a background in public service and a strong interest in improving the school district
Transparency is a high priority for both candidates
but they propose different ways to achieve that goal
Barnes said many residents have questioned why the school board holds closed-door sessions and that he doesn’t yet have a clear answer
‘why do you go into closed sessions at school board meetings?’ and honestly
we won’t do another closed-door session,” Barnes said
Catlin focused more on enhancing communication with the public
“I would support regular communication through the district website
social media and newsletters to keep everyone informed
I’d also encourage people to attend board meetings
and offer opportunities for public feedback,” Catlin said
Barnes said disagreements with recent district decisions are what inspired him to run
coaches being forced out that I didn’t agree with and I said someone needs to run just to have a voice for the teachers and the students
Because I feel like they don’t get a true voice
I want to be the voice of the teachers that have been wronged
Catlin said his decision to run comes from a desire to continue improving the district through experience and relationships
“I want to make sure the district remains one of the top schools in the state
I think my previous experience on the board over the years and staying involved with the district has prepared me for the position
I also believe having connections with the teachers and administrators of the school and listening to their concerns helps to evaluate the things the district needs,” Catlin said
The basketball played in District 7-3A is always at least ultra-competitive
but the district set a new standard for itself this season
The district produced two regional champions with Iowa Park winning Region I-3A Division I and City View owning Region I-3A Division II
Now both teams prepare for state semifinal matchups
Tuesday at Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield
City View is headed to Bridgeport for a 6:30 p.m
More: Nocona claims Class 2A Division I state championship with win over San Saba
“It’s pretty incredible to think about,” Iowa Park coach Blake Swenson said of 7-3A producing two regional champions
“It lived up to the expectations of being tough
but it was actually harder than I thought it would be.”
Iowa Park and City View are two of four teams from the TRN Sports coverage area still competing
also share a district with each hailing from 17-A
in the Class A Division I state semifinals Monday in Athens
The Pirates are playing for the first state title in program history against Valley at 1 p.m
which finished second to Perrin-Whitt in 17-A but had the top seed in the Region III-A Division II bracket
12 Kennard in the state semifinals at 7 p.m
District 17-A couldn’t compare with the nightly level of competition delivered from District 7-3A
“It was a really good district,” City View coach Harold Jackson said
“Anybody could have beaten anybody on any given night
It always seemed to come to down to a couple possessions at the end of a game.”
That was evident in the four-way tie between Holliday
Henrietta and Jacksboro for third place in the district
forcing a pair of play-in games that ultimately saw Holliday and Bowie qualify for the postseason
Bowie put up a strong fight but lost 43-36 to No
22 Peaster in the opening round of the Region I-3A Division I bracket
Holliday won two playoff games against Tolar and Blanco before falling 53-43 in overtime to No
That same Slaton team pushed City View to the brink in the Region I-3A Division II final
but the Mustangs prevailed 49-45 to advance to the state semifinals
“You look at what Holliday did in the playoffs after needing a play-in game just to get in the postseason
but could have beaten any of us on a given night,” Swenson said
“I’ve long said that it’s one of the toughest districts in the state
And it can be further proven if City View and Iowa Park can each prevail in the state semifinals and earn a spot in their respective championship games
It is a taller order for Iowa Park with the matchup against state-favorite Tatum
but the Hawks have won 14 straight games and are certainly battle tested
this is the deepest postseason run in the program’s history
They came in the next day after getting blown out by City View early in district play and were ready to go,” Swenson said
“I thought there was going to be a hangover
I came in thinking we had four million things to fix
but they kind of set us up to take off and go on this win streak.”
losing to the Panthers 67-65 in double overtime on Dec
But the Mustangs have dealt with and overcome plenty of adversity since then
including a streak in January when they lost three out of four district games
They regrouped and won their final three 7-3A matchups
starting a seven-game win streak that has the Mustangs in the state semifinals for the second time in the past four seasons
were freshmen on that state semifinalist squad
“We had to deal with some injuries and some illness,” Jackson said
“We got past the illness and learned to overcome the injuries
Our two seniors have been incredible during this streak
and Desmond does so many things that don’t show up on a scorebook.”
Iowa Park and City View are considered underdogs heading into Tuesday night
but both have the lessons learned from the gauntlet that is District 7-3A to fall back on
“When you play a district as tough as that
you’re going to be prepared for anything you see in the playoffs,” Jackson said
“We were playing playoff basketball a month ago
Texas (KAUZ) - The race for Place 5 on the Iowa Park Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees is officially underway
Incumbent Ken Cooper and challenger Eric Wright are both seeking election to the position
Cooper brings more than a decade of experience
is aiming to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the table
Both candidates agree on at least one thing: the importance of community involvement in the decision-making process
“I think it’s important for the community and parents to get involved
and that’s one reason I wanted to be a board member 12 years ago; I had a son in school
and this school district is very important to me,” Cooper said
it’s their kids that are here; you want to serve them
you have to follow policies and procedures that are in place
then we need to go back and revisit them,” Wright said
Managing the district’s budget is a key priority for both candidates
“You can’t pour it all into a brand-new football stadium or a basketball gym
it’s got to go into getting your students to the point where they can have jobs later on
So if that means building a new shop for them to learn mechanics or welding
along with keeping facilities up to date were some of his top priorities
“Making sure our facilities are what they need to be
Safety and security has always been a big deal to us in this district and just providing the students and staff the necessities they need each and every day to be successful,” Cooper said
Texas (KAUZ) - Iowa Park CISD unanimously voted Tuesday to name Bryan Wood the new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director
Wood has 30 plus years of experience as a Texas High School football coach
He comes from Wayland Baptist University where he was the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach
“I don’t think there is a ton of difference,” Iowa Park Hawks New Head Football Coach Bryan Wood said
you coach them and you love them the same way,” Wood said
In one year as offensive coordinator for Wayland Baptist
Wood had their offense averaging 34 points per game
Wood has had head coaching stints at Rotan
“The history of what Iowa Park has been about in all sports certainly was attractive to a guy looking for an AD job,” Wood said
He will be the 29th head football coach in program history

Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Iowa Park has a multi-million dollar plan to give its city hall a facelift
The City Manager shared that this will allow the city to enhance technology to serve the community better
Jerry Flemming said the move to relocate and upgrade City Hall is a decision that will help the younger generations 30 years from now
This move came after a new fire and the establishment of a police station
but the changes that we’re doing are kind of focused on 30 years in the future
It’ll be their children and grandchildren who benefit from this
they’re appreciative of the work that we’ve done in our lifetimes to help prepare the city for the future,” Flemming said
The Iowa Park City Council has discussed a $1.8 to 2 million plan to relocate and renovate the city hall to a now-closed church
“While it’s always sad seeing a church leave the community
the story on this one is that the building still has a purpose
It was acquired by the City of Iowa Park for the purpose of a future city hall,” He said
“A City Council Chambers or a municipal courtroom looks a lot like a sanctuary in a church
and a community center looks a lot like a fellowship hall
and classrooms look a lot like offices,” He said
City officials have spent months discussing renovation and reservation proposals
and having the city logo on the outside of the building
“We’ll have a better idea once we start soliciting bids and proposals
but we’ve done a lot of the asbestos abatement already,” Flemming said
The original structure of City Hall was constructed in 1923
and there are a lot of issues from the age of the building
And changes in technology since 1923,” He said
Flemming suggests the city would cover $1.5 million of the estimated cost
One priority is making it look like a city facility
“Preserve the structure that’s already here
there is no set time on how long this project will take
but officials are keeping their fingers crossed that the new facility will be done in two years

a traveling web show that spotlights local restaurants across the country
Both eateries are set to host filming crews in early February
which will showcase premiere dishes and interview both restaurants' owners in interviews
we’re not the only [Mexican restaurant] out here
but the thing that I think separates us from the other competitors is a more friendly environment
and the service that we give,” Carlos Moreno Jr
adding that people often think the multiple locations mean they are a corporate chain
“We split up the work and help each other out.”
Ronnie’s Burgers has been open for over 30 years
and owner Ronnie Blanchard said he hopes the experience shows his team they are appreciated
it’s validation that we’ve actually done something right,” Blanchard said
but also making my team feel like they’re doing something that makes a difference.”
Both restaurants' episode premiere dates will be announced on their Facebook pages
as well as on the America’s Best Restaurants website

it’s either a great player or championship-winning coach that serves as the face of the program
That’s not the case in Iowa Park
It’s not that the Hawks haven’t experienced success on the field — Tommy Watkins led them to back-to-back state titles in 1969 and 1970 — and they’ve certainly had their fair share of great players

But the face of the Iowa Park football program was also the voice of the Hawks
that voice uttered its final words on Earth
who spent 72 years as the public address announcer for Iowa Park football
And while Wilcox was blessed with a full life
his presence will be missed by all of Iowa Park
“What a life,” Iowa Park head football coach Michael Swenson said
“He is the greatest example of what a man should be
He was a servant to this program and community in the greatest way.”
That sentiment was shared by some of Wilcox’s closest friends Sunday evening and through hundreds of Facebook comments after his death became public knowledge
the true icon of Iowa Park,” said Greg Deatherage
who has led the radio broadcast of Iowa Park football for more than two decades
But there was still a place for him in the program
The football stadium had recently installed a sound system
and someone was needed to announce the games
The school’s principal carried him up the steps
put him in the seat and told him this was his job now
Wilcox spent the next 72 years perched atop Iowa Park’s various stadiums
commentary for every football game — junior high
refusing to ever accept any compensation for being the Voice of the Hawks
you go to a game and you hear him on the PA
You grew up wanting him to say your name,” Deatherage said
There’s no way to count how many names Wilcox spoke over more than seven decades he dedicated to the Hawks
Wilcox watched him grow up in Iowa Park and eventually become the head coach of his beloved Hawks
“What he means to me is stability and honesty,” Swenson said
“He was so dedicated to this community and especially the kids.”
Swenson recalls giving a player a ride home near where Wilcox lived
‘What are you doing in the middle of the road,’” Swenson said
“He was spray painting the lines on the road
so that drivers knew which side to drive on
‘I’m so afraid someone is going to drive down here and hit a school bus or a kid.’
There was nothing he cared about more except his wife.”
He was still calling football games then and continued to do so until 2019 at the age of 91
a special seat was prepared for him in the main area of the press box
reserved for Wilcox to sit and watch the Hawks every Friday night
“The new voice of the Hawks (Robby Wilkinson) we have is unbelievable and very professional,” Swenson said
“But it was strange the first time we went out there and didn’t hear his voice over the PA
Wilcox would say and do that you can’t help but miss
Everyone who has ever sat in those bleachers misses that voice.”
Among the things Wilcox was known for during games was calling out formations and providing more of a radio-like play-by-play account of the action
He spent a lot of time preparing for each game
trying to be as accurate as possible for each game
Part of his preparation was a weekly meeting with the head coach
Monday morning wanting our game plan and scouting report for the week,” former Iowa Park coach Weldon Nelms said
“He tried to come earlier but knew I was engaged with the coaches until then
He wanted to know the visitors’ names and formations
and I’ve never seen a PA announcer that dedicated to the job
His favorite coachNelms coached the Hawks from 1994 to 1999 and has the distinction of being Wilcox’s favorite coach
Wilcox was quoted by former Times Record News sports editor Nick Gholson in 1999
stating that he “wouldn’t trade Nelms for $1 million.”
The friendship between Nelms and Wilcox carried on after Nelms left Iowa Park
Nelms made the trip to Wichita Falls in 2021 when KFDX created the Robert Wilcox Golden Mic award
given to one of the Wichita Falls area’s best announcers or broadcasters each year at the Texoma Nexstar Sports Awards Banquet
Nelms was also there when Wilcox was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in 2022
It’s only appropriate that Nelms will speak at Wilcox’s funeral Thursday
“It was such a short time we spent together in our careers
but it was a very special time,” Nelms said
“He really made Iowa Park feel like my home
Even since I’ve retired and come back to Iowa Park for a few games
That doesn’t mean Wilcox agreed with everything Nelms did
the Hawks’ colors were slightly altered from kelly green and white to forest green and white
“He’s the sheriff of Iowa Park football,” Deatherage said
“You don’t make changes to the school colors or logo without asking him first.”
“He didn’t like seeing that black mixed in with the green,” Nelms said
Keep that black away from it.’ He supported it
Wilcox was one of Nelms’ strongest supporters even when the former head coach lost his first 15 games with the Hawks
During his 70th season as the Voice of the Hawks in 2017
Wilcox was honored with a ceremony at Hawk Stadium during which the press box was named after him
That alone ensures Wilcox’s legacy is forever immortalized at a stadium he once went door to door to secure bond votes for it to be built
Nelms thinks they should take it a step further
“I think they should put a big RW on the scoreboard and light it up
so that it’s always looking down on the stadium,” Nelms said
“Cause I know he’ll always be looking down on every game played there
Wilcox will be remembered at a funeral held at Faith Baptist Church
He’ll be in a suit that features the kelly green he loves so much
And it’s possible that in his front shirt pocket will be a notebook that he carried with him everywhere
In that notebook was the name and record of every head football coach in Iowa Park history
flip through the pages and tell you his favorite stories about each man
not the state-championship winning Watkins
That notebook was a door to a lifetime’s worth of memories announcing Iowa Park football games
you got the gossip from him too,” Swenson said
“Having my name in that book meant the world to me
Pride is all Wilcox felt when it came to his Hawks
it will be Wilcox announcing the name of each Iowa Park native as they cross those pearly gates

An Iowa Park man has been indicted in connection with the death of an elderly Wichita Falls man
5 returned an indictment against Connor Allen Duncan on the offense of injury/child/elderly/disabled for an incident on Oct
was free Tuesday from Wichita County Jail on a $250,000 bond
Anyone charged with a crime is presumed innocent until convicted beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law
The charge against Duncan is a second-degree felony
which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison
According to allegations in an arrest affidavit
Wichita Falls police were called to an address in the 4800 block of Earl Street where they found William Palmer
lying in the street with an injury to the back of his head
A witness identified Duncan as a man doing yardwork at an address next door to Palmer’s house
The witness said Duncan was in his truck when Palmer approached and knocked on the window
He told police he saw Duncan get out of the truck and shove Palmer down
The affidavit alleges Palmer had been upset about grass clippings blowing into his yard

both Iowa Park police officers and fire fighters will be dispatching from new locations
The change comes as construction for both stations are nearly complete
Creating individual facilities for the police department and fire department in Iowa Park has been in the works for more than 10 years
The city manager said having adequate spacing for both departments ensures they can better serve their community
are one way to say out with the old and in with the new
That message is clear as Iowa Park’s first responders prepare to enter a new era
“It also a lot about public safety as far keeping our staff in the building
but also having room for the public to transact business,” Iowa Park City Manager Jerry Flemming said
Iowa Park’s first responders co-existed under one roof
“Our original plan was to have both facilities on one site
but it was no room to expand in doing that
that was the decision to separate police and fire,” Flemming said
“Them being able to pop in and see us and us being able to pop in and see them and talk to them and get together
That’s just a new challenge we’re going to have to face,” Iowa Park Police Chief Steve Davis said
you’re usually within five minutes of the other facility,” Flemming said
$5 million went into the new police station
and another $1.5 million went to a new fire station
is already much larger than the facility first responders once shared
staff is getting more of what they need now
Having a little bit of elbow room around fire equipment is far better than not having elbow room
you’d have to crawl through the first two trucks to get to it
Our police department has already moved into the new facility

The Texas Department of Public Safety is praising the actions of a man for assisting a woman who had driven her car into a water-filled irrigation canal in Archer County
Thursday at the intersection of Bray and Kamay roads
The DPS said Alisha Marie Bryant of Iowa Park was driving a Chevrolet Equinox southeast on Bray Road when she lost control
went into a skid off the roadway and plunged into the South Side Canal
The DPS said William “Billy” Hoschler was working nearby when he saw the vehicle in the canal
He told troopers he saw the driver’s hand sticking out the window and went into the canal to help
"Without Billy’s courageous actions Bryant could have met her demise," Sgt
"Billy’s actions are a great representation of the amazing people within our community and the State of Texas."
Bryant was treated at the scene but did not require hospitalization

Part of the land artwork Greenwood Pond: Double Site
Miss and the art center agreed as part of the settlement not to disparage each other
but the leader of an organization that sought to preserve the artwork expressed disappointment at its pending removal
president and CEO of The Cultural Landscape Foundation
said in a statement that what happened to the work could have and should have been prevented
“the institution that commissioned the environmental sculpture for its permanent collection appears to have failed as a proper custodian and steward of this widely acclaimed and influential artwork
which is a core function and responsibility.”
Greenwood Pond: Double Site was completed in 1996 on the shores of a pond in a historic city park just west of downtown Des Moines
shelters and viewing sites that encourage people to see and interact with nature
Although known locally as a spot for picnics and family photos
the artwork was celebrated nationally and seen as a career high point for Miss
a rare female artist in the male-dominated field of landscape architecture
the largely wooden artwork has needed periodic repairs due to Iowa’s frigid winters and hot
Miss was surprised when the art center blocked access to some parts of the work in early 2024 and then informed her it would be removed because of the multi-million-dollar cost of repairing and maintaining the structures
Miss expressed optimism the work could be saved and she ultimately filed a lawsuit to block its removal
noting her contract with the art center required her approval to tear out the structures
“I would be shocked if it was just torn out,” Miss said in February 2024
People don’t deserve to have that happen.”
Miss expressed hope that the dispute would encourage tighter bonds between artists
Miss will be the first donor to a new Public Art Advocacy Fund created by The Cultural Landscape Foundation to highlight and preserve landscape art
The art center released a statement confirming the agreement but didn’t respond to a request for details about its timeline for removing the artwork
The center earlier announced plans for a roughly three-month process of bringing heavy equipment to the site
draining the pond to allow access to infrastructure and building new paths

Iowa — An Iowa National Park Service Ranger
will return to his position Monday after a federal judge ordered the reinstatement of probationary employees who were terminated last month
