but her sister Kendall Jenner isn't far behind The model has attended the event consistently since 2014 and her ensembles have become bolder each year Here's a look at Jenner's Met Gala wardrobe which hugged her body up top and extended into a wider skirt at the bottom and paired minimal makeup with a swept-back hairstyle Not only did the sparkling dress have open panels on each side of her chest — which were held together with crisscross straps — but its thin fabric was also semi-sheer The Calvin Klein Collection crafted the mock-neck garment To stay in line with the "Garden of Time" dress code Jenner wore an archival Givenchy gown made by Alexander McQueen in 1999 It had a deep V-neckline embellished with brown trim and an arrow-shaped panel of mesh at her hips that extended even farther at her backside The sparkling black gown was also semi-sheer netted crop top and a voluminous skirt decorated with layers of ruching Jenner also bleached her eyebrows for the event adding more edge to her already-sharp look She wore an orange, sleeveless dress that was custom-made for her by Versace Its see-through fabric was decorated with beaded fringe and its skirt had layers of orange feathers that reached the floor the sheer detailing made her dress stand out on the red carpet feathered neckpiece that wrapped around her shoulders and reached her wrist Both the gown's see-through mesh and matching bodysuit complemented her skin tone creating the illusion that she was wearing only rows of diamonds The black dress had a slit in the middle of its see-through bodice, and its wrapped design created a thigh-high slit in its skirt. But it was even more daring from the back. When Jenner turned around, you could see that her gown was backless and revealed a thong she wore underneath. 2025Photo: BackgridSave this storySaveSave this storySaveWhat’s your flavour in contrasting bright whites (him) and sleek black leather (her Kendall Jenner, however, has kept it pretty chill this weekend. Tom Brice of Sportzwire Radio GREAT WHITE guitarist Mark Kendall once again confirmed that he and his bandmates are working on material for the follow-up to 2017's "Full Circle" album He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "We made a lot of demos But literally I've flown [GREAT WHITE singer] Brett [Carlisle] out here [to California] multiple times and we're just going in and presenting the band with ideas It's also a case of we don't know exactly how we're gonna do it I'd rather get the full attention of maybe one song and a video and then we'll come with another one and another one and maybe then hit 'em with eight songs or whatever Because it's not like when we were teenagers where we knew everybody's name in every band and we'd sit there and read the liner notes and trip on an album all day long and go out and buy it and take it home and it'd be a 10-hour project Now they just download a couple of songs from this guy and that guy It's not the human connection that we used to have Our thing is we just want to get the music to the people We want you to hear it 'cause we want feedback We want you to say 'it sucks' or 'it's great' — tell me something Back in April 2024, Kendall told George Dionne of KNAC.COM about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the next GREAT WHITE LP: "I've been having [Brett] out recording new stuff Because I want him to be inspired and just not singing our [old] songs perfect but put his name on some new stuff his studio is a little bit more upgraded than mine he's like a teenage friend of mine who was in DIO So I go down there and lay down ideas and then I have Brett out and go Regarding how GREAT WHITE is planning to release its new music Mark said: "We're not sure how we're gonna put it out 'Cause we don't want the music to kind of get lost we'd buy a record and sit there and listen to [LED ZEPPELIN's] 'Physical Graffiti' all day Now they just download a couple of songs from this [album] So we're thinking maybe the idea could be [to] just put two or three songs out and just keep coming with three at a time or something the music isn't wasted; it actually gets to the people We know it's gonna be free on the Internet immediately." I was always more interested in the feedback because you've gotta wait about four months Tell me something good.' He would always pick the singles And the guy can't — he can't hold a tune in a bucket But he can listen and he could always pick the singles 'I don't know.' So there's no answer there But I always like to get the feedback 'cause I wanna know… You have to wait this waiting period after you finish a record to find out if you're good or not So I always race all my friends and play it for 'em So that's what I'm more interested in than the dollars And maybe we have a chance to create some more memories." Asked if he and his bandmates were "a little bit apprehensive" about the fact that Carlisle is only 27 years old while GREAT WHITE has been in existence more than four decades He just goes out and just totally handles it every night And he's got really good song sense for a young man I'm used to feeding people melody ideas when I write a song because that's the way I do it but I always know that there's a lot of melody available and he sometimes comes up with something way better than I had And I don't know — I think he was born in the wrong time or something It's not like he's standing next to his grandpa or something 'What's that 13-year-old doing there?' When we stand together It doesn't look like we're with a little kid or anything Carlisle was officially named GREAT WHITE's new vocalist in October 2022 Brett joined the group as the replacement for Andrew Freeman (LAST IN LINE),who sang for GREAT WHITE for only five months Regarding what it has been like working with a singer who wasn't even born when some of GREAT WHITE's classic songs were written, the band's rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Michael Lardie told Robert Miguel of Uvalde Radio Rocks: "Well It's been a godsend to have someone with his youth but at the same time he has what a lot of people would deem as an older soul His parents did a great job bringing him up on '70s and '80s rock so he's got a little bit of that blues and gospel edge to him." Michael went on to say that he is "really looking forward" working on the new GREAT WHITE album with Carlisle I was playing him a little bit of a thing that he and I are working on "So he's really psyched about working with us righteous young man that I've come across in a while Michael added that Carlisle has the singing ability to handle anything from GREAT WHITE's catalog no matter how obscure it might be or how high it might be in terms of range I can do that.' Like one of the songs we are doing from the very And he hits every one of those notes spot-on every night Regarding the musical direction of the new GREAT WHITE material I would love the album to be kind of an amalgam of '...Twice Shy' [1989] In March 2024, Kendall told The Logan Show about Carlisle: "Even though he's younger than us [Look at] that.' He just goes out and just totally handles it every night he wasn't even born in our heyday or whatever He's really good and natural at… He doesn't have a script when he goes out there; he just kind of whatever he's feeling We're looking forward to doing an album with him After interviewer Logan Crosland noted that "quite a few people online" have commented that Brett is "probably the closest-sounding singer to Jack Russell," GREAT WHITE's original vocalist and asked if that was a criteria when hiring Brett to front the band What it was is he just sang the songs correctly and he has the range to sing 'em I don't think his voice sounds that much like Jack but he has the range of Jack in his heyday And so we're able to play anything we want and we really haven't been able to do that in the past Like we're playing 'Stick It' off the first album which is up in the astral planes with the vocal range and he's hitting all those notes full power He's like straight from the gut just like screaming these notes There's not a song in our catalog that he can't totally handle Regarding whether he has any songs already completed I probably have seven complete songs on tape right now The way we do it is we get together and we sit in a circle and say What do you got?' And if a riff kind of pokes out That's killer.' And that way it's more of a group effort." Carlisle made his live debut with GREAT WHITE on September 24 2022 at the Cannery Casino Hotel in Las Vegas he felt welcomed by his new bandmates and the GREAT WHITE fans from the get-go they're all super-cool dudes," he told Kevin McKay of the 99 Rock WKSM FM radio station and I already knew half the songs well enough to be able to do it So I wanted to do the best that I could on 'em Carlisle has been playing guitar and singing since the age of eight and counts bands like VAN HALEN SKID ROW and METALLICA as his main influences GREAT WHITE announced that it had parted ways with singer Mitch Malloy and had replaced him with Freeman Malloy had been in GREAT WHITE for nearly four years having joined the group in 2018 following the departure of Terry Ilous joined GREAT WHITE in 2010 after stepping in for touring vocalist Jani Lane (WARRANT) The Ilous-led GREAT WHITE released two albums Kendall told the "Mark 2.0" podcast that he was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response to Carlisle's addition to GREAT WHITE "I'm seeing stuff on the Internet from Italy And even some of the more online dirt-seeking-type entities that normally are just huntin' for the headline to say These guys actually said good things and posted some of the [fan-filmed videos] so the quality probably isn't… But you can hear it Carlisle was asked in an interview with AL.com about his approach to singing GREAT WHITE's classic songs He said: "I just want to do the songs justice They want to go to the shows and hear the songs the way they remember them It's not about me and how many high notes I can hit or anything like that Brett went on to say that he is honored to be singing for a band whose songs — including "Save Your Love" "Rock Me" and "Lady Red Light" — he had previously covered with his other band ALL OR NOTHING "I just want to learn from them," Carlisle said of his new bandmates "It's just really cool to be included in what I've grown up listening to And then now people are coming up after the shows asking me to sign like original GREAT WHITE cassettes and stuff And I'm sitting here feeling like I'm not worthy Image credit: Paul Roma « OBITUARY: Arlene Rose Muller Mock, 1944-2025 THE ECONEWS REPORT: New Timber Harvest Plan for Jackson State Forest » Shawn Leon is a Humboldt County resident and a Cal Poly Humboldt graduate You like history? Consider a subscription to the Humboldt Historian, a journal of the Humboldt County Historical Society. The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office issued 47 tickets for hands free law violations and seven tickets for speeding as part of a statewide distracted driving awareness month enforcement campaign. In Illinois, using a handheld electronic communication device while driving is illegal, even for short texts or calls. The Sheriff’s Office also issued a ticket for driving with an expired vehicle registration and a ticket for driving a vehicle with tinted windows. The initiative was carried out by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with state and local law enforcement agencies across Illinois. “We enforce traffic laws for one reason – to save lives,” Kendall County Undersheriff Bobby Richardson said in a news release. “This enforcement effort is a clear message to all drivers: the consequences of distracted driving can be deadly. This is a reminder to Put the Phone Away or Pay.” The safety effort was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation. He is endorsing Kendall County Undersheriff Bobby Richardson for the post. Richardson will formally kick off his campaign at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville. In an email, Baird said he will formally announce at that time that he is not running for reelection and that he is endorsing Richardson for Kane County Sheriff. Richardson began his career in law enforcement in 2007 as a patrol deputy at the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. No other candidates have announced they plan to run for sheriff in the November 2026 election. Richardson is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has worked his way up through the ranks. In November 2019, he was promoted by Baird to the rank of undersheriff and currently oversees the Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office. Prior to becoming Sheriff, Baird was the Oswego police chief for almost 12 years. He started his law enforcement career in 1990 when he was hired by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy. Weis would later dismiss the Esqueda case because his office determined that it could not sustain the burden of proof at trial. All 5 Releases By on May 3, 20252 Comments Our community is being littered with unsupervised radiation-emitting equipment — and we’re being told to accept it without question residents have been waking up to find 5G “small cell” towers built just inches from their property lines — without warning What began as a tech infrastructure rollout has spiraled into an accountability and transparency public health and safety issue that local government is dodging at nearly every corner Read related: Kendall residents take fight against 5G towers to Miami-Dade commissioners Miami-Dade County has refused to release key public records related to financial transactions between Crown Castle the private telecom infrastructure company behind the towers and the county’s Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) and emails/texts—documents that legally belong to the public An official records request for “all communication and financials from Crown Castle to the County from 2019 to date” was submitted in July 2024 The county then closed the request in January 2025 claiming they have “provided all they could” which was only the permit and plan of the one tower in question (no financials or communication) Mayor Daniella Levine Cava was alerted to the issue and she graciously assigned staff to assist no documents have been located by this staff either leaving constituents in the dark about who is benefiting financially and why public oversight is being circumvented It raises major red flags around trust and suggests a deeper problem beneath the surface of this tower rollout the county accepts $170,000 from Crown Castle to expedite these 5G small cell tower permits the county does not require radiofrequency (RF) safety reports as part of the 5G tower application process — despite federal expectations of local authority being the first line of defense in ensuring RF safety for any tower permitted in their municipality These reports are supposed to verify that the towers meet basic safety standards for human exposure to radiation This raises serious concern…is there a financial conflict of interest in the permitting department Radio Frequency Compliance Reports are encouraged to be shared in good faith with any resident who requests it. Yet, after nearly eight months of requesting the Radio Frequency Compliance Report from the county and Crown Castle, the Federal Communications Commission had to intervene and get the document from Crown Castle – this is highly unlikely What was found was alarming: The report made assumptions about the tower configuration that didn’t match what was built in the official engineering plans It referenced a generic “scenario” but not the actual tower It failed to account for the tilt and height actually used all those mismatched details were input by Crown Castle “Miami is not a testing ground for corporate shortcuts My children are not tradeoffs in the race to 5G or infrastructure dollars.” numerous Kendall homeowners are putting in for these public records to see if this is an isolated issue or a systemic problem in the permitting department which accepts $170,000 from Crown Castle to expedite these small cell permits such errors would prompt an immediate investigation But it goes without saying that the model’s obsession comes with a pretty hefty price tag. (The sum of her outfit last night totaled to just shy of $15,000.) For Jenner, however, The Row is more than worth the splurge. 2025Photo: BackgridSave this storySaveSave this storySaveAll products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors we may receive compensation from retailers and/or from purchases of products through these links Kendall Jenner is making the most of her time in Paris—by dressing like a local, of course. This past week, the top model has been shooting a campaign for L’Oréal in the City of Light, and embracing Parisian style on her time off. Nailing that effortlessly-chic look that many French women have perfected Jenner has stepped out in quietly elegant looks marked by neutral tones Photo: BackgridBoth of her Paris-ready outfits are prime examples that you don’t have to wear flashy logos or bright colors for your style to have an impact. While Jenner’s wardrobe is chockfull of luxurious designer pieces, breaking the bank to get the look isn't necessary, either: You can take the sentiment into spring by leaning into minimalism and incorporating more sleek, refined silhouettes into your wardrobe. By doing so, you can look Parisian without actually being in Paris. Jenner’s outfit otherwise featured a scoop-neck knit sweater that was just low enough to show off the white tee she layered underneath She tied in the palette of her It bag with black glasses In March, Jenner wore her Marlo tote for the first time publicly when leaving a photo shoot in the French capital the model paired it with a structured wool coat from Bottega Veneta there’s hardly any branding on the accessory are the perfect complement to Jenner’s model-off-duty style that’s full of cashmere sweaters There’s always going to be a certain crowd that collects the Hermès Kelly and Birkin (Jenner owns a few of those status bags too) but the model certainly sees The Row’s accessories as her own type of heirlooms Collarless jackets are one of the most popular trends at a Chanel show Kendall Jenner's take on the collarless jacket involved a tunic-like top and all-black accessories Most often, I've seen the collarless jacket trend styled two Parisian ways: as half of a coordinating skirt suit with matching bottoms, or contrasting a pair of straight-leg or loose jeans. On April 28, Kendall Jenner unveiled a new way to wear the polished prim style—one that's much more minimalist than a usual look on the Rue du Louvre Jenner seemed to absorb the collarless jacket agenda while adding her own twist Without knowing exactly who designed her jacket—credits were not available at press time—I can say this with confidence: Kendall Jenner made the Parisian-beloved collarless jacket trend entirely her own She may have relied on a silhouette Parisians enjoy but her roomy fit and juxtaposing colors are entirely L.A.-coded I took the liberty of shopping out five similar versions inspired by the model to wear at home and on my next trip abroad Previously, Halie reported at Glamour, Morning Brew, and Harper’s Bazaar She has been cited as a fashion and beauty expert in The Cut she earned the Hearst Spotlight Award for excellence and innovation in fashion journalism She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Harvard College Please select what you would like included for printing: Copy the text below and then paste that into your favorite email application to the late James and Elizabeth (Synder) Wiley Jane spent her life in the heart of Arcanum where she graduated from Arcanum High School and went on to serve her community with unwavering dedication and Bryan (Angela Zwick) Harshbarger of Vandalia; her grandchildren and Kyndra (James) Brady; her great grandchildren Sue (Zane) Baker of Pitsburg; her stepchildren Teresa Neitzelt and Carla Kendall; several step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.  Jane devoted 27 years of her professional life as a bank teller at Greenville National Bank Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of countless customers and her legacy of service will not be forgotten Jane was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Arcanum where she found fellowship and camaraderie with those she loved.  Jane found joy in tending to her flowers and nurturing her yard creating vibrant spaces that reflected her bright personality she could always be found rooting for her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes enjoying both the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it brought.  She found immense joy in caring for and spoiling her children and grandchildren nurturing their lives with her abundant love and unwavering support and she left behind a bond that will forever hold them together A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Guests may visit with her family on Friday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home Memorial contributions may be given to EverHeart Hospice Online condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.tributefuneralhomes.com Enter your phone number above to have directions sent via text This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply Service map data © OpenStreetMap contributors There are no statistics available for this player Thanks for visiting The use of software that blocks ads hinders our ability to serve you the content you came here to enjoy We ask that you consider turning off your ad blocker so we can deliver you the best experience possible while you are here Drew Kendall is a three-year starter at center including 13 starts in 2024 as a team captain inside Boston College's run-heavy (64-36 run-pass split) multiple-run scheme.
