positioned for growth in the thriving South Fort Worth market
2025 — Colliers announced the sale of 7406 Mansfield Hwy
a newly delivered flex-industrial park in Kennedale
a key growth pocket within the South Fort Worth corridor
The transaction reflects sustained demand for modern
strategically located industrial assets across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
The seller was represented by the Colliers team of Cody Payne
“Investor demand in South Fort Worth is being driven by a combination of strong population growth
surging business activity and limited supply of new product in infill locations,” said Payne
“This property sits at the intersection of those trends
and we were pleased to guide a successful transaction that aligns with current market momentum.”
The project consists of 156,295 square feet across six buildings situated on 13.196 acres
Designed to serve a wide range of small to mid-sized industrial users
the property offers 18- to 22-foot clear heights
and flexible configurations to accommodate multiple tenants
presenting immediate upside through lease-up and potential site enhancements
Highway 287 and Loop 820 positions it well for last-mile distribution
light manufacturing and service-based industrial tenants
Continued residential and commercial development in the surrounding area has made South Fort Worth one of the most active leasing environments in the region
Krum pushed Kennedale to the brink in the state semifinals before falling in its first appearance since 1998
Krum added to its storied basketball history Tuesday when the Bobcats made their return to the state semifinals for the first time since 1998
A couple of clutch free throws from Kennedale guard Jacoby Lovings made sure Krum would go no further
The Wildcats got the ball to the junior in the closing seconds of the Class 4A Division II semifinals at Glen Rose High
Lovings pulled up for a jumper and drew a foul before calmly knocking down two free throws with 4.3 seconds left to give Kennedale a 62-60 win and a trip to the state finals
“We’re really proud of them,” Krum coach Ty Tabor said
“This is the first time we have been to the state tournament in 27 years
We wish we would have made a few plays and maybe a few different coaching decisions
Krum finished its season with a 26-10 record
Kennedale (32-7) advanced to face Houston Wheatley for the state title
Krum was down 59-55 late in the second half before senior guard Andyn Garza rallied the Bobcats in what turned into a mano-a-mano battle with Lovings
Garza hit a pair of free throws with 58.7 seconds left to cut Krum’s deficit to two
Lovings answered with a free throw for Kennedale with 55.9 seconds left
who converted a 3-point play to tie the game at 60-60
The Bobcats called a timeout to set their defense
Kennedale milked the clock down and turned to Lovings
Krum had one final shot at the buzzer that was off
Krum led for much of the first half and led 22-14 after Cash Andrus hit the second of back-to-back Krum 3s
The Bobcats were hit with a technical foul a short time later after a group of players got tangled up under the basket
Bryson Nickerson cashed in both free throws
Kennedale grabbed momentum and came all the way back to take a 29-28 halftime lead
Trey Smith hit a jumper just before the buzzer to give the Wildcats their first lead of the game
The teams were locked in a back-and-forth battle the rest of the way
“He has been a great player for us for four years,” Tabor said
“We have two or three others it could have been
Krum was making its 18th trip to state semifinals or better in program history
“We hope this will carry us forward,” Tabor said
We are really proud of what the seniors have done and will depend on the underclassmen to put us in the same position next year.”

AUBREY — Aubrey’s new-look offense produced explosive plays galore Friday night in a 33-7 nondistrict win over Kennedale
The Chaparrals scored all five of their touchdowns on the night from 30 or more yards out
as they racked up 433 yards of total offense
Senior running backs La’Braylon Bell and Dylan Brooks broke off touchdown runs of 76 and 66 yards
to help fuel a 207-yard showing on the ground
Senior athlete Tyler Brown also did what he does in the passing game
The 2024 Class 4A 200-meter dash state champion showed off his elite speed time and again as he hauled in three passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns
“He’s just different,” Aubrey head coach Keith Ivy said of Brown
Those kinds of explosive plays have been the norm for Aubrey through its first two games of the year
The Chaps scored two offensive touchdowns of 50-plus yards in their 33-31 Week 1 win over Sunnyvale
hitting on pass plays of 52 yards and 70 yards
and Brown added a 108-yard interception return for a score
That offensive success owes in large part to Aubrey’s wealth of talented skill position players
but also to an offensive scheme change this fall
The Chaps have been known for running the Wing-T offense under Ivy — who’s now in his 11th year leading the program — but made the switch to a more Spread-heavy attack this fall to maximize the abilities of their many playmakers
The move has certainly paid dividends thus far and is receiving rave reviews from the players
got a lot of speed — we’ve got guys everywhere
Senior quarterback Brock Temple has also been a key part of the offense’s success thus far
two touchdowns and one interception Friday
The Chaps got off to a rough start on the night
with a fumble on their first play from scrimmage after receiving the opening kickoff
Aubrey finally got going on its third drive as Temple broke off a 17-yard run to convert on 3rd-and-15
then connected with Brown for a 51-yard touchdown pass the very next play to make it 7-0 with 3:52 left in the first quarter
Kennedale responded with a methodical drive down the field starting from its own 30 that lasted 8:16 of game time but stalled at the Aubrey 2-yard line
The Chaps took advantage three plays later when Bell broke away for his 76-yard scamper to the end zone
Bell finished with team-high marks of six carries for 95 yards and one touchdown alongside four catches for 42 yards
It’s his second straight impressive performance after posting 11 carries for 56 yards and one score last week
making for a strong start to his senior season after missing all of last year due to injury
and the only thing I had to do was just run.”
A missed extra point attempt kept it 13-0 with 6:13 left in the second period
Temple and Brown connected for another touchdown with 5:01 left in the third quarter
this one an 85-yard bomb while facing 3rd-and-15 that made it 19-0 as a 2-point conversion try failed
Brooks added his 66-yard rushing score with 1:15 left in the third period to make it 26-0
Kennedale got its lone touchdown of the night when senior quarterback Jackson Hammonds scored on a 26-yard run on fourth down
cutting the deficit to 26-7 with 9:42 remaining in the fourth quarter
Hammonds led Kennedale’s Wing-T offense with 18 carries for 95 yards and the one score
The Wildcats tallied 61 carries for all 267 of their yards as Hammonds’ lone pass attempt fell incomplete
Aubrey set the final margin as senior quarterback Greg Hatley found Brown for a 30-yard touchdown on a fourth-down play that made it 33-7 with 7:09 to play
The Chaps now set their sights on their toughest test of the season yet against perennial power Brock (2-0)
The Eagles romped past Lake Worth 51-13 on Friday night after taking a 27-7 victory over formidable 4A DI squad Decatur in Week 1 and are coming off a run to the 3A DI state semifinals last year
Ivy knows his squad will have its hands full when Aubrey travels to face Brock Friday
“That’s going to be a big test for us,” Ivy said
“They’ve got a very rich tradition in their program
so we’re certainly going to be tested there
We just have to keep working on the little things and improving
I saw some improvement from a week ago tonight
