Gretchen McDermid The new theming added above the broken Keystone Clothiers doorway has received additional painting and work on the entrance appears to be nearing completion The green marble still has blue painter’s tape covering the white columns on either side implying that more work is still set to take place in this area The pink wall above the marble is also still discolored compared to the rest of the building the white paneling that temporarily covered the white marble on the nearby windows has been removed again It is possible Disney was worried the construction work would damage the windows While the windows did not collapse in the same fashion as the door they were still reconstructed simultaneously this whole side entrance leading into Keystone Clothiers remains blocked by blue construction walls Guests who want to access the store need to use one of the other nearby doorways The facade of Keystone Clothiers was covered with green panels wrapped around the collapsed doorway as a temporary fix in 2023. Construction walls were added again in 2025 and it now appears Disney is planning on making the entrance look closer to the missing original For the latest Disney Parks news and info, follow WDW News Today on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram Δdocument.getElementById( "ak_js_1" ).setAttribute( "value" This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. (AP) — The nearly 2,700-mile Keystone oil pipeline was shut down Tuesday morning after it ruptured in North Dakota, halting the flow of millions of gallons of crude oil from Canada to refineries in the U.S and potentially leading to higher gasoline prices a liquid pipeline business that manages the pipeline said it shut down the pipeline after control center leak detection systems detected a pressure drop in the system The company estimated that 3,500 barrels of oil were released and said the spill was confined to an agricultural field in a rural area about 60 miles (97 kilometers) southwest of Fargo and operations and containment resources have been mobilized to site,” the company said “Our primary focus right now is the safety of onsite personnel and mitigating risk to the environment.” The pipeline transported an average 624,000 barrels — or more than 26 million gallons — per day in 2024, according to Canadian regulators It stretches 2,689 miles (4,327 kilometers) from Alberta The pipeline’s shutdown could quickly lead to higher gasoline prices in the Midwest It could raise prices at the pump within one or two days but will have a greater impact on diesel and jet fuel The Keystone pipeline transports a large amount of a unique heavy crude that only is available from limited sources (KVRR) – A portion of the Keystone Pipeline which carries crude oil from Canada to the United States Program Manager for the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality tells KVRR Local News that a pipeline employee reported hearing a “bang” and saw oil coming out of the 30-inch pipeline Suess says the rupture was reported at 7:44 a.m Oil was reported surfacing 300 yards south of the pump station in a field Suess says the spill was contained in about two minutes The oil has been confined to a nearby field The size and cause of the spill are under investigation The $5.2 billion pipeline was built in 2011 The pipeline carries crude oil across Saskatchewan and Manitoba through North Dakota Kansas and Missouri to refineries in Illinois and Oklahoma Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker The 11th Annual Keystone Awards – honoring individuals who have made an impact in Sheridan County will take place on Thursday the Keystone Awards includes unique entertainment and catering while honoring residents of the Sheridan Region who have volunteered for the betterment of the community.  During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse Hub on Smith Director of Development Ryan Koltiska said the staff at the Hub is excited to recognize three individuals who have transformed the Sheridan County community through hard work determination and selfless public service.  Koltiska said the night will be a special time to show appreciation to three people who do not ask for praise or recognition This year’s Keystone Awards will also feature a surprise for those in attendance but Koltiska would not give any spoilers.  To purchase tickets for the 11th Annual Keystone Awards and be a part of this celebration of selfless service, click here and website in this browser for the next time I comment Keystone Lake is now 15 feet above normal and rising because of the record rainfall in April and flooding It's already causing flooding issues at several marinas around the lake where access is cut off at several docks and the restaurant already it's bringing back memories of the 2019 floods as access is cut off to only a few of the docks and the restaurant but the water is expected to rise in the coming days Adair has vivid memories of the 2019 floods when Keystone Lake hit a record high of more than 30 feet above normal It wiped out a good chunk of the summer season at the lake I call it our Super Bowl weekend," said Adair Adair says they are raising walkways out of the water and putting floats under them so people can still get to their boats he says the lake is supposed to rise another seven to eight feet by next week "The rate that this inflow hit us and that rain patterns just stayed over the top of us I wasn't concerned at all until Tuesday night I should have known better than to relax," said Adair Keystone Lake hit a record high of 757.3 feet above sea level in 2019 This caused flooding issues around the lake and devastating flooding downstream along the Arkansas River Keystone Lake's current levels are 738 feet The lake has gone up about 10 feet since Tuesday Adair says they are doing all they can to ensure their customers can still access their boats If the water rises too high they have to shut off the power "A flood does not keep people from coming to this lake It doesn't keep our customers from coming out They are going to want to be here," said Adair We won't keep them from going to their boats." Santora said (READ MORE: Find arak, the mother of all spirits, at Calliope in Chattanooga) was also cultivating a love for all things hospitality What started as a job being a food runner at a pizza place led to him rising in the ranks to manager at Pizzeria Vetri Something about the work in hospitality felt innate and humane to Mason who soon found himself just a stone's throw away from Santora's restaurant in Philly "Anthony Bourdain did an episode in Philadelphia," Mason said adding that Bourdain went to a Marc Vetri's restaurant and Marc takes him (Bourdain) at the end of the tour to Dom's restaurant A connection point in a city of over a million people It wasn't long before Mason would bring in pizza from Vetri to trade for gyros at Kanella Sitting at a corner booth — "Table 10," Mason remembers — Santora would shave gyro right off the spit for him drinking beer and scheming and dreaming: "What if we opened our own place?'" Santora went on to work with Mason at Vetri for a while Mason and Santora were working together at Fabrika a cabaret restaurant and performance venue and restaurant It was "crazy cool and maddening," a crescendo of energy that came to an abrupt halt with COVID-19 After the restaurant they were working in shut down in 2020 He moved to be near his family and started working in carpentry Little did he know that down the spine of the mountain range he grew up in was another little city nestled in the Appalachian mountains off the Tennessee River Santora's brother got a job in Chattanooga and when he needed help fixing up his new home Santora thought he'd put his carpentry skills to use "It was beautiful down here," Santora said (SIGN UP: Subscribe to the weekly newsletter, "What to Eat Next," at timesfreepress.com/eat) Mason realized he had driven through Chattanooga years before on a road trip down to New Orleans He described the first time he drove into the city seeing the bend in the river by the beautiful mountains and town "It felt like in 'The Land Before Time' when they find the valley," Mason said adding it took very little convincing to get him to relocate Santora got his then-girlfriend, now wife, to visit, and then Mason and his girlfriend. He started painting a picture for what their move could look like — he took them to hike Stringers Ridge, took them to eat at Main Street Meats The dream started coming into focus: build a breakfast windows down The beautiful thing about the location of Keystone is that you can take your sandwiches and dessert to Coolidge Park for a picnic Santora is not sleeping on the dessert game either the flaky pastry was topped with candied orange and another week they were full of hearty cashews Santora will be putting up some shelves to fill with his handywork Wooden cutting boards and charcuterie according to the weekly log of notable calls published by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence near Farmer’s Korner after receiving a request for a welfare check on a woman who seemed to be in distress The woman’s landlord told dispatch that the woman had been yelling and screaming in her bedroom and acting strangely throughout the day Deputies found the woman by her vehicle and observed that she was intoxicated The woman told officers that she did not intend to drive and was merely loading items into her car She then indicated that she no longer wished to speak with the deputies and returned into her home Deputies drove by the residence again shortly after speaking with the woman and observed that her vehicle was running Deputies then witnessed the vehicle pull out of the driveway and drive on the wrong side of the road deputies saw the woman they had just spoken with in the driver’s seat surrounded by empty cans of alcohol the woman allegedly keep the dog contained in his yard and he added that the dog managed to move barriers he set up to prevent further escapes He was given additional suggestions on how to secure the yard and issued a verbal warning for having a dog at-large deputies were dispatched to a hotel at Copper Mountain following a report about a man exhibiting aggressive and threatening behavior in the hotel lobby The They play off one another well and have fantastic comedic timing. Logan’s interactions with Sabrina Williams’s Deloris Van Cartier are fun to watch and the scene in act two when she puts herself between Deloris and a gun is so heartfelt that it gives the audience chills Manny Wilson is completely endearing as “Sweaty” Eddie Souther. While some of the vocals were a little low for Wilson, his falsetto is gorgeous, and his dance moves, diction, and the strength of his upper range more than make up for it. Wilson’s Eddie is a direct contrast to Bryan Brown’s Curtis Jackson While Brown’s performance was a little stiff for the confident his low speaking voice adds a delightful air of menace to the character and Mimi Dietsche are perfectly cast as Jackson’s crew and Dietsche definitely give this reviewer’s favorite performances of the entire production It is worth coming to see this production of Sister Act just to experience their performance of “Lady in the Long Black Dress” and to see their antics during the chase scene in act two For an enjoyable evening that truly places an emphasis on friendship, love, and acceptance of self and others, get your tickets to see this production of Sister Act. FORT RANSOM, N.D. — The Keystone Pipeline has spilled oil into a field near Fort Ransom. The amount of crude oil that may have spilled has not yet been determined. Bill Suess, spill investigation program manager with the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, said it is not clear whether the pipeline ruptured or sprang a leak. Suess said an employee working at a pump heard a “mechanical bang” around 7:44 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. The employee was able to shut down the pipeline, which is operated by South Bow, within about two minutes, or by 7:46 a.m., he said. "Even their automatic systems don't work that fast," Suess said. The employee then noticed oil surfacing in a nearby field about 300 yards south of the pump station. The oil seems to be confined to the field. There is a stream near the field, but Suess said the stream was not impacted by the spill. Fire and emergency crews were dispatched to the area. Suess said how much oil seeped into the field would likely not be determined for a couple days. Suess said Tuesday that a timeline for when the pipeline may resume operations was not available. "It all depends on what caused the incident and what is needed to repair it," he said. Fort Ransom is about 40 miles south of Valley City. The Keystone Pipeline System runs through North Dakota as it carries oil from Alberta, Canada, to the Gulf of Mexico. It is owned by the Canadian company TC Energy. The pipeline was created in four phases. Phases I and II were first commissioned in 2010, and the pipeline began routing oil through North Dakota. By 2013, the first two phases had the capacity to deliver up to 590,000 barrels per day to refineries in the Midwest. Phase III allowed the pipeline to deliver 700,000 barrels per day to refineries and storage in the south. When Phase I was finished in 2010, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency criticized the draft environmental impact study for neglecting concerns about oil spill response plans, safety issues and greenhouse gases. In 2011, the final environmental impact report stated the pipeline posed "no significant impacts" to most resources if environmental protection measures were followed, but it would present "significant adverse effects to certain cultural resources." After TC Energy's permits were revoked by President Barack Obama, reinstated by President Donald Trump, and then revoked again by President Joe Biden, TC Energy abandoned its plan for the Keystone XL project in June 2021. A grain truck drives past a Keystone pipeline pumping station near Milford The spill is confined to an agricultural field in a rural area The pipeline transported an average 624,000 barrels per day in 2024, according to Canadian regulators It stretches 2689 miles (4327 kilometers) from Alberta It wasn’t clear what caused the rupture of the underground pipeline or the amount of crude oil released into the field Oil surfaced about 300 yards (274 meters) south of the pump station in a field and emergency personnel responded A nearby stream that only flows during part of the year was not affected but was blocked off and isolated as a precaution The Pipelines and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration is sending a team to investigate the cause of the leak forested area of southeastern North Dakota known for scenic views It’s unclear at what rate the 30-inch (0.8-meter) pipeline was flowing, but even at two minutes “it’s going to have a fairly good volume,” Suess said. “But ... we’ve had much, much bigger spills,” including one involving the same pipeline a few years ago in Walsh County, North Dakota “I don’t think it’s going to be that huge,” Suess said Kansas and Missouri to
