A Cumberland County man is wanted for sexually assaulting a child and then begging her mother to keep quiet, police announced on Wednesday, March 19.
Angel Antonio Rios Rivera, 60, is accused of pinning the juvenile victim against a laundry room wall and forcibly touching her at a home along the 4400 block of Gettysburg Road in Camp Hill, according to Lower Allen Township Police.
The girl told her mother, who confronted Rios Rivera while recording the exchange, investigators said. He allegedly admitted to the assault, apologized, and pleaded to keep it "between them only," police said.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Rios Rivera, who is wanted on charges of False Imprisonment, Corruption of Minors, Contact/Communication with a Minor β Sexual Offenses, and Indecent Assault, court records show.

Unlocked cars in Lower Allen lead to string of break-ins

(WHP) β Police in Lower Allen Township said several unlocked cars in Cumberland Park were broken into overnight Friday
and that the suspects were caught on camera
The department was dispatched to several addresses in Lower Allen Township and Shiremanstown Borough Friday morning
property and even a vehicle itself were stolen
Video obtained by a resident showed at least four suspects in the area around 2 a.m.
Police took the time to remind people to lock their vehicles
and that locked cars didn't have any items stolen from them
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has additional information is asked to contact the Lower Allen Township Police Department, or submit a tip online

(WHP) β Lower Allen Township police are searching for four suspects after the group allegedly stole several hundred dollars worth of electronics from Walmart
Loss prevention workers told police that four people entered the store and asked an employee for help unlocking $856 worth of electronics
As the employee began to take the items to the register
the group offered to help carry the electronics
Instead of following the employee with their items
the suspects allegedly ran out of the store without paying
Anyone with information or anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to call the Lower Allen Township Police Department
(WHP) β Police in Lower Allen Township are asking the public for help locating suspects after multiple vehicles were broken into
The break-ins were reported around 6:25 a.m. Saturday in the Beacon Hill Development, police said in a news release
Surveillance footage from that day showed at least four masked individuals in Beacon Hill between 2:20 a.m
Unlike typical vehicle break-ins where suspects check for unlocked cars
police said these suspects have been breaking windows and entering vehicles
Police said one of the suspects did cut themselves on glass
One of the suspects was seen wearing an Under Armour sweatshirt and another was earing a Denim Tears cotton wreath sweatshirt
Police are asking anyone with information or "anyone who knows someone who was recently cut and who wears similar clothing" to contact the Lower Allen Township Police Department
Neighboring jurisdictions have also seen similar reported break-ins

Lower Allen Township Police have charged Tracey Myers with five counts of fraudulent business practices
Myers is the president of Harrisburg Office Furniture in Lower Allen Township
Police said from May 2024 to August 2024 they received multiple reports of people making payments to the store but never receiving the furniture
Four companies paid Harrisburg Office Furniture $96,336 in total
Officers said they interviewed Myers and she admitted to having financial difficulties with the business
and she is accused of telling officers she used payments from new orders to fulfill prior orders

(WHP) β An arrest warrant has been issued for a Mechanicsburg man involved in a DUI crash police say left a woman in need of facial reconstruction
Officers arrived on scene to find one of the drivers involved in the crash had a severe head injury
The driver was hospitalized and had to undergo multiple facial reconstruction and plastic surgeries due to their injuries
was found to be under the influence of alcohol
He reportedly completed a blood test at the hospital that showed his BAC was .326%
The legal BAC limit for drivers in Pennsylvania is .08%

(WHP) β A man is facing charges after witnesses say he ran around a Sheetz on March 3rd in Lower Allen Township threatening customers
was seen running around the store parking lot in the 1500 block of Cedar Cliff Drive
He reportedly then entered the store and threatened people
Hutton was allegedly disarmed in the store and drove away in a Subaru
they reportedly found the large machete style knife on a trash can
Additional witnesses told police Hutton was yelling while holding the knife
Hutton has been charged with assault by physical menace
(WHP) β Authorities have arrested a man they believe grabbed a hotel employee
pulled her inside a hotel room with him and raped her
According to a release from Lower Allen Township Police
11 at the Courtyard Marriott around 9:20 p.m
after he was being served by her at the bar
Cates then asked her to bring food and drinks up to his room
Officers confirmed that Cates allegedly grabbed the victim by her arm and took her into his hotel room before he threatened and raped her
Further investigation revealed that Cates had rented the room under a fake name and also had his credit card declined
Cates was later arrested on Tuesday and is currently facing charges of rape

According to the release put out by Upper Allen Police
the crash spurred from an incident involving the 29-year-old wrong-way driver at the Capital City Car Wash
where he got into an altercation and hit a 2011 Nissan Rogue with a 37-year-old driver
Authorities said the suspect took off the opposite direction on Route 15
traveling southbound in the northbound lanes
officials said the wrong-way driver sideswiped a 2020 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old before a final collision involving a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles brought the suspect's car to a halt
the suspect allegedly punched an EMS worker in the face
Upper Allen Police also squashed rumors that the suspect was an off-duty police officer and stated the driver had "no affiliation with any law enforcement agency."
Law enforcement also said they are conducting a thorough investigation and full analysis and reconstruction of the accident
The driver's name will not be released until the Cumberland County District Attorney determines appropriate charges for the driver

(WHP) β A father was arrested and is now facing child endangerment charges after Lower Allen Township Police said his four-year-old child was left in a hot car for about an hour
police were dispatched to the Arcona neighborhood near Ruth Way around 8 p.m
after a resident called saying a vehicle's alarm had been going off for 15 minutes with the little girl inside
but the witness at the scene said they heard the girl screaming in the vehicle beforehand
It was 89 degrees outside when police were responding
The witness claimed to be in the area when the car alarm was going off
They told police that the child was in the backseat of the car
the witness said they reached through the cracked window to unlock the car and get the child out
The witness said the child told them she was thirsty
she only replied with "I'm thirsty."
Wall told police he was visiting a friend that lived in the neighborhood and decided to leave the child in the car because she was sleeping when he arrived
Police said the windows were cracked about 4 to 6 inches in the back and between 2 to 4 inches in the front
Court documents allege Wall went inside and began consuming alcohol and watching TV
He claimed he was checking on his daughter by looking out the window every 5 to 10 minutes
At no point did he ever go outside to check on her
When authorities asked Wall if he heard the car alarm going off
Police said the vehicle's tint would have made it hard to see her from the house
and there wasn't good circulation within the car
Wall is charged with felony endangering welfare of children
as police say he had a duty of care for the child as her father who brought her to the residence
(WHP) β Police in Lower Allen Township are investigating after 10 juvenile cats were reportedly abandoned at a business
Police said the cats were left at Nobody's Cats in the 3900 block of Hartzdale Drive on March 25
they reportedly found the cats in three cages without any paperwork or identification
All cats are said to be between the ages of 6 months and 1 year old
Police said the cats were in distress and covered in feces and vomit
They have since been placed in foster and adoption programs

was charged after Lower Allen Township police were called to the Walmart on 3400 Hartzdale Drive Feb

Walmart's loss prevention team told officers they got a call from Gettysburg State Police informing them that two males had been putting skimming devices on registers

Water pressure is currently increasing throughout the Pennsylvania American Water system
It is anticipated that full pressure will be restored by Monday morning
and water should be available in most areas
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until at least Tuesday morning
Two biological water testings have to be completed before it is lifted
