The driver of the Honda stopped immediately and cooperated with law enforcement
The cause of the crash is under investigation

Prosecutors said Del Rio and Perrette were next-door neighbors for years until Perrette moved away from Minner Avenue in 2021

Perrett drove to Del Rio's home armed with five loaded guns
Perrette then knocked on Del Rio's front door and waited for him. He came out of the front door and was shot three times by high-velocity rounds from his AR-15 assault rifle in the chest, instantly killing him, said the DA.Following the shooting

Police said the stolen vehicle was a silver 2008 Lexus sedan
Officers followed the car on the southbound Highway 99 until it was safe to initiate an investigative stop
Officers tried to pull over the vehicle at Highway 99 and Olive Drive and the driver failed to yield
officers received information the people in the stolen vehicle were alleged suspects in an armed robbery that the Bakersfield Police Department was investigating
The people inside of the stolen vehicle left the car in the 100 block of Hopkins Avenue and ran off
ran from the vehicle into the neighborhood
With the help of the Kern County Sheriff's Office
officers found two of the people hiding from law enforcement
The other two people were not found after an extensive search of the area
Police said a 16-year-old Bakersfield boy was arrested and charged for reckless evading
reckless evading on the wrong side of the roadway
The child was the driver of the stolen vehicle and one of the alleged people in the armed robbery investigation
The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall
The second man arrested was identified as 19-year-old Ezra Cartwright of Bakersfield
He was charged with possessing a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest
Cartwright had a felony warrant for his arrest for carrying a loaded firearm as a criminal street gang member
Both people are suspected criminal street gang members
