causing damage alongside widespread 70 mph winds
The National Weather Service reported Tuesday evening just after 5 p.m
News On 6 Meteorologist Stephen Nehrenz said radar data and photos suggest a brief spin-up tornado developed as storms swept through Owasso and into Collinsville
“You can see it very clearly,” Nehrenz said
pointing to a funnel cloud photo from MaKyla Vent
“This was just after 7 o'clock this morning
More than likely it didn’t last more than a minute or two.”
captured a similar funnel from Highway 169 near 116th Street North
often on the leading edge of a squall line
Nehrenz explained that radar products used to detect non-rain particles (often debris) showed a brief signal indicating likely rotation near Collinsville at 7:06 a.m
“That was right where there was just enough rotation to produce that likely tornado,” Nehrenz said
“Then it quickly transitioned back to damaging wind potential.”

Measles symptoms and risksAccording to the OSDH
measles symptoms typically appear seven to 14 days after exposure and include high fever
beginning on the face and spreading to the rest of the body
Fever can spike to more than 104 degrees Fahrenheit when the rash appears
and those with weakened immune systems are at a higher risk of complications
The OSDH will work with infected individuals to determine when they can safely return to public spaces
typically after their rash has been present for more than four days
Measles cases continue to rise in the U.S.The confirmed case in Oklahoma comes amid a national rise in measles cases

Health officials urge Oklahomans to immediately check their vaccination status and report any suspected measles cases. For more information, visit CDC.gov or contact the Oklahoma State Department of Health

The affidavit says the girl told investigators her dad always uses a belt to spank her
she has to "strip down to her underwear and sit in a corner or designated chair all day long until she showers." The girl told investigators she is forced to sleep on the floor
and had been grounded for months for "stealing food from the kitchen."
She said her dad "cut her hair and made her wear boy clothes for trying to dress like her older sisters."
"When you are denying a child food and shelter
so of course we had to get the state involved and ended up taking that child from the parents," said Boatman
Erik Delacruz told investigators he spanked his daughter for lying and stealing from her teachers and at home
He said he made the girl wear only a t-shirt and underwear "so she didn't have pockets to steal things."
Julianna Delacruz told investigators she told her husband to spank the girl "because she was being sneaky." She said the girl was grounded from the kitchen but "always has access to water."
"She's going to have to go through a lot of medical and mental processes because of this
as well as having to endure court at some point
These individuals were taken into custody; they'll have their day in court
that little girl is going to have to go through it as well," said Boatman
Both Julianna and Erik Delacruz are in the Tulsa County Jail
