RAINSVILLE – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats split a pair of softball games Saturday in the South State Realty Classic in Rainsville on Saturday
They held on to defeat North Sand Mountain 6-5 and fell to Plainview 12-1
Emma Sipsy went 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run
Molly Grace Lay and Aubie Camp both went 1-for-3 with a run
Sipsy earned the win after tossing four innings
She gave up six hits but didn’t allow an earned run and had a pair of strikeouts
Martin suffered the loss after working two innings
She gave up three earned runs on three hits with two walks and no strikeouts
