The EF-3 tornadoes that struck Lincoln/Waverly, Eppley Airfield/Crescent, the McClelland area, and Minden have all remained the same. For more details on those tornadoes, see the updated tornado count blog here the Fujita scale (F-scale) was used; after 2007 the other F-4 tornado was the Omaha tornado on May 6 Washington County has also only had 3 F-4/EF-4 tornadoes before April 26 The Yutan tornado from 1913 crossed near Fort Calhoun an F-4 tornado hit Herman directly killing 11 people when a tornado crossed over northern Washington County into Burt County Harrison County, Iowa, where the Elkhorn tornado ended, also has had its fair share of violent tornadoes. The Yutan tornado of 1913 continued into the county, hitting Woodbine where much damage occurred The Omaha tornado in 1913 also dissipated near Persia an F-4 tornado killed 2 people west of Dunlap two F-4 tornadoes hit the southeast corner of the county doing significant damage the change in rating means little outside the scientific community Disaster funding does NOT rely on the EF-rating of a tornado nor does it help anyone who lost their home to the tornado ensuring the most accurate information for a tornado rating and estimated wind speed is key for further research on tornadoes and how they work it can help manufacturers and engineers determine future building codes to help properties withstand high winds The couple's weekend-long celebration in Chattanooga Tennessee included a rooftop welcome party and farewell brunch Jack Henry Photography "(Required)" indicates required fields Δdocument.getElementById( "ak_js_1" ).setAttribute( "value" The Ramble Festival will return to Camp Ramblewood in Darlington 2024 to present a wide-ranging lineup topped by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Other top acts at the third-annual Ramble Festival include North Carolina genre-hopping jam band Big Something and Asheville country favorite Town Mountain along with lespecial (x2), Fireside Collective, ShadowGrass, Sneezy Scrambled Greg (Pigeons Playing Ping Pong) The rest of the 2024 lineup is filled out by up-and-comers including Natalie Brooke One of the things that sets The Ramble Festival apart from other festivals is its commitment to collaboration The festival will host another round of its beloved late-night barn superjams—modeled after The Band drummer Levon Helm‘s legendary Midnight Rambles—featuring performances by Big Something & Friends Shadow Mountain (Town Mountain + ShadowGrass) and The Fiery Sneeze (Fireside Collective + Sneezy) Another unique element of The Ramble Festival is the employment of buskers who perform throughout the festival The artists will compete during the festival for a spot on the 2025 lineup in a contest judged by the fans Other programming includes late-night jams from lespecial and Solar Circuit and emerging artist at large Natalie Brooke Related: PREMIERE: Watch Del McCoury & Kanika Moore Take A “Tennessee Waltz” At The Ramble Festival 2023 Camp Ramblewood sits on over 200 acres of pristine land A functioning multi-purpose summer camp location the venue offers on-site cabins with seven Tickets for The Ramble Festival 2024 are on sale via the festival website, where there is also information and applications for the busking program.
