Mullins was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, as previously reported by Daily Voice. New Jersey court records show Mullins has faced at least five charges of aggravated assault on law enforcement officers dating back to 2014 and multiple simple assault charges across several municipalities Bodycam footage from three of Mullins’ New Jersey arrests has been shared by Transparency Bodycam where she is consistently referred to as the “screaming banshee” — a nickname stemming from her repeated screaming during the encounters Mullins' most recent Garden State arrest occurred on Jan. 31, in Hoboken, where she was charged with simple assault. The video description says officers were dispatched around 3:15 a.m to 14th Street and Willow Avenue for reports of a woman screaming and jumping on cars Mullins was told she was being detained for her safety She allegedly kicked officers while they attempted to place her in a patrol car She was taken to Hoboken University Medical Center for evaluation and later to the Hoboken Police Department and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and one count of disorderly conduct The NJ Courts website shows the charge as simple assault/knowingly causing bodily injury Transparency Bodycam also shared a video that shows Mullins' arrest in Garwood, in October 2024. "I know my right to remain silent!" she screams as the video opens the video description says officers were called to Garwood Lanes around 9:40 p.m "She initially attempted to leave the scene in an Uber and continued yelling obscenities towards others on the sidewalk," the video description reads "The officers asked her for her identification and told her that if she continued yelling obscenities she was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct She was eventually transported to the Garwood Police Department for further processing." Mullins' other aggravated assault on police charges came from arrests in Roselle Park with multiple cases listing more than one charge of assaulting officers during separate incidents Mullins' court case in Massachusetts remains active A GoFundMe was launched two years ago for Mullins by her family who said she had been struck by a car in Scottsdale Police papers obtained by Daily Voice show Mullins had laid down in the roadway and was subsequently run over by a vehicle 22 of Johnson during the Central Jersey Group 2 sectional softball final between Delran and Johnson in Clark Johnson won.Ed Murray| For NJ Advance Media .st1{fill-rule:evenodd;clip-rule:evenodd;fill:#2a2a2a}By Jack McKenna | For NJ Advance MediaCassie Conforti made her mark for Johnson as both a hitter and a pitcher to lead it to an 11-1 victory in five innings over Roselle Park in Clark Conforti drove in four runs while hitting a single and a double in a 2-for-3 showing at the plate while scattering four hits and one run while striking out eight Roselle Park batters and walking none from the pitcher’s circle Annabella DeMartinis also went 2-for-3 with a single and double plating two runs and coming around to score twice for Johnson (8-1) Madelyn Hemenway recorded an RBI single in a 1-for-2 day for Roselle Park (5-1) Jack McKenna can be reached at hssports@njadvancemedia.com Receive unfettered access to our digital content including our Examiner+ bonus content newsletter and get other perks like free tickets to local performing arts complimentary advertising for your favorite local charity either observed and verified directly by the reporter or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources Work has begun at Roselle Park on a new playground Teardown for the park on Weskora Avenue began in late February making way for new equipment to be installed in April The Roselle Park playground roped off while equipment is removed Pleasantville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Mike Newman explained why the village is replacing the playground equipment “All three playgrounds here in Pleasantville are 20-plus years old so we started the process of identifying how we want to replace those,” he said Roselle Park has the second of three playgrounds to be upgraded. Around this time last year, the playground at Nannahagan Park on Lake Street was replaced The same will happen to Soldiers and Sailors Park on Manville Road this fall “With all three playgrounds we essentially wanted to enhance what we had to put something back that’s better,” Newman said “We wanted them all to be a little different.” He said the village prioritized playground designs that encouraged creative and active play, and had inclusive pieces. You can view the full design for the new Roselle Park playground here. Flyer for the Roselle Park playground build (Village of Pleasantville website) As was the case for Nannahagan Park last year the playground design was selected by an eight-person committee “We put a survey out to the community with questions to see if anyone would be interested in joining our committee to help design the new playground,” Newman said “The idea was to have couple members on this committee from each of the neighborhoods.” He also chose members based on the age range of their children and whether they would would be frequent users of the playgrounds A community build for the new Roselle Park playground will take place April 11-12 To read this article on Pleasantville Press, the Pace student reporter website, click here.
