Police say they stopped a vehicle on West Front Street on Saturday and suspected illegal drugs were inside the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found 6 grams of fentanyl, 3.8 grams of cocaine, 0.6 grams of methamphetamine, and $240 in suspected drug proceeds, according to police. Police say they then arrested the vehicle’s occupants, 27-year-old Michaela Higgins of Madison and 39-year-old Mike Medeiros of Skowhegan. Higgins was charged with unlawful trafficking and unlawfully furnishing of a scheduled drug. Medeiros was charged with aggravated trafficking and unlawfully furnishing of a scheduled drug as well as violating two separate sets of bail conditions.
