Maine (WGME) -- A Waterville man has been arrested after police say they found cocaine and fentanyl during a traffic stop in Skowhegan
Police say they stopped a car driven by Travis Clark on West Front Street on Saturday
A K-9 reportedly alerted to the presence of drugs in the car
Police say they searched the car and found 2.15 grams of cocaine
Clark was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled W drugs
He was taken to the Somerset County Jail where his bail was set at $20,000

Maine (WGME) -- A Maine woman has been arrested after authorities say they found cocaine
and meth hidden inside a coffee tumbler during a traffic stop in Skowhegan
authorities stopped a vehicle on Wednesday driven by 48-year-old Jessica Salisbury of Cornville as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in Skowhegan
Officers found a coffee tumbler with a false bottom during a search of the car
and 13.86 grams of methamphetamine was found inside the tumbler
Salisbury was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking schedule W drugs and violation of conditions of bail/release
The MDEA says Salisbury was convicted of unlawful drug trafficking in 2006 and was out on bail at the time of her most recent arrest
Salisbury is being held at the Somerset County Jail

SKOWHEGAN (WGME) -- Two Mainers are facing drug trafficking charges after police say they found fentanyl, cocaine, and meth during a traffic stop in Skowhegan.
Police say they stopped a vehicle on West Front Street on Saturday and suspected illegal drugs were inside the vehicle.
Officers searched the vehicle and found 6 grams of fentanyl, 3.8 grams of cocaine, 0.6 grams of methamphetamine, and $240 in suspected drug proceeds, according to police.
Police say they then arrested the vehicle’s occupants, 27-year-old Michaela Higgins of Madison and 39-year-old Mike Medeiros of Skowhegan.
Higgins was charged with unlawful trafficking and unlawfully furnishing of a scheduled drug. Medeiros was charged with aggravated trafficking and unlawfully furnishing of a scheduled drug as well as violating two separate sets of bail conditions.
Both suspects were taken to the Somerset County Jail.

Maine (WGME) -- A Maine woman is accused of driving the wrong way and crashing into a snowplow in Skowhegan while “heavily intoxicated.”
Police say 53-year-old Mary Fournier Skowhegan was driving on the wrong side of Route 2 in Skowhegan when she hit a DOT plow truck head-on
Police say Fournier was “heavily intoxicated” and needed help getting out of her SUV
Fournier was driving on a conditional license for a previous OUI in 2019
She suffered minor injuries in the crash and was summonsed for OUI and failing to maintain her lane
