his fondest memories was when he earned his black belt in Taekwondo with his son he made sure his children knew their worth and felt their love Dan owned his own CPA firm for 42 years and considered his clients as friends He also served two two terms as city council member for Taylorsville City Dan was a devout member of the LDS church his whole life and loved serving in his many different callings from primary teacher and in young mens again and again and again He taught values and principles through his Christlike generosity His grandchildren idolized him and his childlike mischief was endearing to all He loved teasing everyone and made friends wherever he went hard working and had a great sense of humor He has now been reunited with his parents as well as his two brothers A into a McDonald's is just 20 years old a lieutenant with the Taylorsville Police Department confirmed The man was ejected from his vehicle and flown to a burn unit in critical condition Ryan Carver said this incident occurred around 1:40 a.m The vehicle was reportedly traveling east on 5400 South through Kearns the driver struck the center of a raised concrete barrier for an unknown reason The vehicle then struck a McDonald’s and came to an immediate stop Carver said the man suffered life-threatening injuries and serious burns They were transported to the University of Utah Burn Center in Salt Lake City The Taylorsville Police Department’s Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team has taken over the investigation due to the severity of the injuries and investigators are working to determine
