The pair face felony counts of obtaining property by trick and deception and violating the Oklahoma Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Act. A probable cause affidavit by an investigator with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality showed officers responded to "an unlawful discharge of a pollutant" in Bluff Creek near the plant on November 30 The discharge was found to be "improperly treated and raw wastewater," according to the affidavit Witnesses said Brentnell and Menzie were responsible Menzie said he had altered laboratory test results and submitted them to DEQ and the Environmental Protection Agency in late 2022 Menzie said he submitted the falsified reports after being instructed to do so by Brentnell More: A new threat emerges for US lakes and rivers. Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) Human Trafficking Unit arrested a second suspect for sex trafficking Antwon Jackson was arrested for the sex trafficking of a juvenile victim in part of an ongoing investigation Jackson was arrested at a courthouse in Oklahoma County during a custody hearing involving his children "Warr Acres officers encountered a minor in the apartment who was possibly a victim of human trafficking," said Mark Woodward "OBN's Human Trafficking Unit responded and spoke to the minor as well as her mother and our investigators found sufficient evidence the minor was being trafficked by Antwon Jackson and Sarah Larayna Holland who have connections to the family." Sarah Larayna was arrested for the trafficking of a minor by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics's (OBN) Human Trafficking Unit According to OBN's Spokesperson Mark Woodward the investigation started on July 29 after officers of the Warr Acres Police Department responded to a domestic call at an apartment Woodward said Holland would arrange ads on commercial sex websites to set up dates with the minor victim "Holland arranged the location of dates with those who responded to the ads and even 'coached' the minor on how to conduct herself on these dates." Investigators said more arrests are possible "OBN is grateful the victim and her mother had the courage to speak out and help us stop this trafficker We want other victims to know they don't have to be afraid and recovery services are available."
