popular Fox 8 anchor Wayne Dawson has been absent from the airwaves
Dawson has been battling oral cancer since last year
While Dawson isn't taking back his spot on the Cleveland morning show quite yet, he'll be the star of the new 30-minute show "Wayne's World," the station announced on May 2
You can watch Fox 8 CLE+ on Amazon Firestick
Dawson has been on Cleveland television for more than 40 years
He's battled health issues in the past — namely prostate cancer and a series of mini-strokes
there’s no doubt about it," Dawson said on Instagram during his oral cancer recovery
Summer is coming and I’m arguing with my boyfriend about how to spend it
This will be our first summer together and we both agree that summer in Alaska is the best
The late sunshine and long days are so wonderful and we do our best to stay put and not travel out of state between Memorial Day and Labor Day
My guy’s an Alaska man through and through and he loves rustic outdoorsy activities
I bet he’d say he likes nothing more than a beer by the campfire when his whole body is sore at the end of a long hard day of bushwhacking or hunting or fishing
My ideal Alaska summer is probably more about farmers markets
I love bike rides and walking on the Coastal Trail and visiting cute little towns that open up during the summer months
I also like having a warm shower and bed at the end of the day
He’s pressuring me to join him for some real-deal camping trips and I just don’t want to go
There’s nothing enjoyable to me about being isolated
Meanwhile I’m begging him to give up some of these rustic adventures to spend some weekends with me
and his pushback is we have so few summer weekends that it’s unfair of me to ask
Congrats: Your yearling relationship survived its inaugural cheechako winter and now approaches its first season of the midnight sun
and the fact that you two agree on that is a great starting point to brainstorm and compromise so you can create unique weekend experiences that bring you both joy
Because you are going to have to compromise here
you will be spending the summer alone — or at least
I think you should expect that there will be many weekends where you’re whooping it up at Salmonfest before crashing at an Airbnb while he’s hiking through the wilderness before making camp at midnight
And that’s fine; spending some time apart is healthy in a relationship
and it’s expected and normal that you have different hobbies
But it’s also expected and normal that during a glorious Alaska summer
a couple shares some unforgettable experiences
So what can you do where you’ll both be happy
You need a jumping-off spot — like a rustic rental in Talkeetna or a cozy cabin in Homer — where he can take off during the day for outdoor adventure and epic hiking
and the two of you can come together at night for food and fun
You each won’t have everything you want but you’ll also each have a lot of what you want — and you’ll have each other
Midnight sun maniacs like us can suffer serious FOMO and anxiety if we waste an hour
doing outdoor chores and grilling after work feels special because AK summer is magical and fleeting
That all is adding to the stress building between you two as you attempt to navigate your first summer together
I’m assuming that everything else is great and you both want this to work
So there’s a level of compromise you can both make for peace and happiness
But there’s also facing reality: You aren’t packrafting down glacier-fed rivers to then shiver by a bonfire and then shivering in a tent in the middle of nowhere
and he isn’t wandering around a farmers market for hours making small talk with every gardener and artisan while sipping a rhubarb lemonade
Forcing compromise on these extremes will just create more tension
You both had friends who share your summer passions prior to hooking up
So keep doing those favorite things with them while your partner does their things with their friends instead of dragging one another along
The real compromise is agreeing to create a balance and appreciating the importance of reserving some weekday nights and weekends for quality time together
This will take communication and planning to discover and explore new things that you can bond over while experiencing together
Don’t try tamed-down or shortened versions of your favorite pastimes that will just make the other miserable; go with things that are completely new or foreign that you can make your own or say that was fun but once was enough
It’s Alaska — if you can’t find a bunch of different or fun things to do
[Wayne & Wanda: My husband inherited a family cabin, but it’s too rustic for me and increasingly costly]
[Wayne & Wanda: He’s a night owl. I’m an early riser. Will moving in together break our relationship?]
[Wayne and Wanda: Keeping the relationship afloat in the wake of a boat purchase]
[Wayne and Wanda: Her ex remains part of their dog’s life, and I feel weird about it]

For many Hip Hop fans, the name Young Money immediately calls to mind its so-called golden era — the meteoric rise of Drake
Nicki Minaj and Tyga under the watchful eye of Lil Wayne
Chanel West Coast and a slew of affiliates
have also found success by aligning themselves with the house that Weezy F
The legendary label based in New Orleans continues to champion a diverse group of voices
and an episode of Young Money Radio brought the spotlight back to the label’s roster
Wayne welcomed virtual day-ones like Cory Gunz and Lil Twist and distinct voices like Lucifena and Domiio for an intimate
full-circle conversation on artistry and growth
The episode reaffirmed one thing: Young Money isn’t just a legacy brand
It’s a launching pad for talent determined to uphold and evolve its standard
Here’s a look at the voices defining Young Money’s always evolving sound — and how they’re keeping the fire burning
Lil Twist was first signed at just 12 years old after opening for Lil Wayne in Texas
Though his early buzz came during the label’s peak
Twist has maintained close ties with Wayne and continues to release music independently and through YM
His style blends youthful charisma with reflective storytelling
and while one commercial moment may have passed
his influence within the camp remains steady
It’s clear that Twist is still in it for the long run
Cory Gunz will forever be known as the lyrical firecracker on Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot,” but his skills run far deeper than a single verse
dropping independent projects like Gunz x Bars (with David Bars) and maintaining a rep as one of Young Money’s most technical spitters
he spoke about growth and staying inspired
signaling a continued focus on artistry — a mindset that mirrors Wayne’s own ethos
Hailing from Hollygrove (the same neighborhood as Wayne), Jay Jones brings a gritty authenticity to the label. He’s the son of J-Dawg from Black Menace and carries that New Orleans heritage with pride
Jones made waves through collaborations with Wayne
along with solo projects like 2000 Hollygrove and Almost Forgot Who I Was
He and Allan Cubas teased a collaborative project
with Wayne himself expected to appear on the tape
Allan Cubas blends New Orleans street rap with a bilingual twist
As one of the standout voices signed to Young Money after its superstar phase
Cubas has performed with Wayne on tour and built a growing fanbase with introspective rhymes and sharp delivery
His chemistry with Jay Jones — particularly around Flight 504 — positions him as both a strong soloist and dynamic collaborator within the camp
Originally known as part of the duo Vice Versa
Domiio has rebranded and stepped confidently into the spotlight
With a sound that balances sharp flows and laid-back energy
the man formerly known as Drizzy P is carving out a new identity while continuing to rep the Young Money banner
His recent freestyles and teasers point toward a versatile catalog in development
and his presence during the Young Money Radio reunion solidified his place in the label’s future-forward mission
euro (born Eufradis Rodriguez) was raised in Rhode Island and first connected with Lil Wayne through an explosive guest verse that immediately set him apart
he’s dropped solo efforts like Don’t Expect Nothing
and “Patience,” showcasing a lyrical dexterity and confidence that stand tall among his peers
He’s one of the more seasoned MCs in the lineup and remains a dependable pen for posse cuts and deep solo cuts alike
Lucifena adds something wildly different to the Young Money roster: A mash-up of rock
rap and gothic flair that challenges genre conventions
she’s collaborated with Lil Wayne on music videos and appeared on Young Money Radio as a voice helping expand the label’s sonic palette
dynamic energy that stands out — not just within Young Money
at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro

Drake is still heavily promoting his latest album
a collaborative project with PartyNextDoor
and the set is living inside the top 10 on every Billboard ranking on which it appears
Multiple singles from the project are also performing very well
especially “Nokia,” which almost topped the Hot 100 recently
"She Will" is not new. It was released as a single from Wayne's album Tha Carter IV, dropping in the summer of 2011. The tune became a proper smash at the time, one of the biggest from Drake’s catalog, just a few years into his time as a superstar.
The track climbed to No. 3 on the Hot 100 and also appeared inside the top three on a number of Billboard’s genre-specific tallies, including some focused on general consumption and others that look specifically at radio airplay. Now it’s back, and it manages to appear on several other rankings.
"She Will" debuts this frame on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, which ranks the most-played tracks across those genres in the United States on popular platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. The Wayne/Drake tune kicks off its time at No. 22, earning the top start of the week. Only one other track, "Whim Whamiee" by Pluto and YKNiece, also manages to start on the list, launching at No. 23.
Between the two musicians, Drake is far and away the more successful on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs tally. This latest debut marks his two-hundred-and-fifty-seventh placement on the list. That sum includes 125 top 10s, 25 of which have reached No. 1.
Wayne, meanwhile, has placed 44 tracks somewhere on this list — less than half as many top 10s as Drake. He has thus far accrued just four winners.
The Wayne/Drake collaboration also appears on the Rap Streaming Songs chart, but it's not new to that list. Instead, in its twenty-fourth frame somewhere on the much-more-specific tally, it reenters in last place, at No. 15. That’s as high as it’s ever reached, even though it's currently at the bottom of the ranking.
WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wings Over Wayne Airshow soared to new heights on Sunday, despite the weather, as it showcased a variety of aerial performances, including Franklin’s Flying Circus and the renowned U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
One of the highlights was an explosive combat arms demonstration. David Myers, also known as Kong, explained, "Basically what the strike yield can do, and how we would execute attacks, and talk to people on the ground when we’re out there." Myers and Kyle Williams, known as Moonshine, participated in the demonstration.
Williams expressed his excitement about performing in his home state. "Oh, it’s just an absolute honor. A place I grew up, when I was a little kid, over near Charlotte, in Hickory North Carolina. To come back here and be in an air show that I once saw when I was about 8 years old—uh is just outstanding," he said.
Myers highlighted the significance of community support for the base. "The community supports this base every single day of the week all year long for as long as this base has been here. So a chance for them to see why we do what we do on a daily basis, and what the base works to execute as far as the air forces mission is a big deal to us," he said.
