LIVINGSTON — Interstate 12 westbound in Livingston Parish is closed after the roadway after a a semi-truck overturned on Tuesday
The truck overturned and blocked traffic on I-12 between Livingston and Holden
Livingston Parish Sheriff's deputies said to expect major delays
One lane of the roadway was briefly re-opened before being closed again
No injuries were reported in the two vehicle crash
Troopers added that it will "be a while" until the truck is cleared
Deputies said that crews have to unload the cargo of the truck before they can open the roadway

– A man accused of shooting and killing a woman Tuesday afternoon in a “domestic” shooting was arrested
according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office
was arrested Wednesday morning in the shooting death of Takeshia Renee Eads
The sheriff’s office said the two were married
Deputies said they received a call around 3:45 p.m
about the shooting in the 5200 block of West Livingston Street
they found Eads with a gunshot wound and she was taken to a hospital

who was also expecting her fifth grandchild
was described by family and friends as a loving
Eads was known for her deep involvement in her church and her commitment to her family
spoke emotionally about Eads and said she was like a “guardian angel” in her life
and it shouldn’t have happened like that,” Toney said
Friends and loved ones of Eads said she will be remembered for her caring nature
her commitment to others and the positive impact she made in the lives of so many
Bryant is facing a first-degree murder charge

NJ — A massive wildfire near Route 10 in North Jersey is nearly contained as of Sunday evening
According to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, crews remain at the scene of a fire that broke out Saturday in the area of Route 10 (Mount Pleasant Avenue) and Eisenhower Parkway in Livingston
The cause of the fire remains under investigation
According to the Livingston Fire Department
winds and difficulty in accessing the forest with no roadways presented “considerable challenges” for firefighters battling the blaze
48 structures had been deemed "threatened" by the blaze
There were evacuations of commercial structures at both 530 West Mount Pleasant Avenue
All roads that were closed during the fire have reopened as of Sunday evening
The fire sent smoke wafting throughout the area
Residents living nearby were advised to keep windows closed
The smoke is expected to remain present until "significant rain" falls over the fire area
According to the National Weather Service, the next chance of rain in the Livingston area will come Thursday evening or Friday
The Forest Fire Service shared unified command with the Livingston Fire Department
and assisted the department with engines and personnel
A helicopter with a 350-gallon water capacity was also deployed
Several fire departments in Essex and Morris counties pitched in to the response effort
as well as the Livingston Police Department
Essex County Sheriff's Office and EMS crews from Livingston and the surrounding communities
